Car was towed after an accident. The tow driver and the staff in the office at Midland were all very professional, down to earth, kind, and honest. Would recommend using them if you are in need of a tow!
Make sure to take photos of your vehicle before being detailed! Brought my vehicle and was initially super happy with how it looked considering the price is so low to have it done compared to other places. While walking around the man who did it said he wasn’t sure what I got on my hood but he didn’t mess with it. Before bringing it my hood was probably the only thing with no types of scratches considering it is a 2014. I do try to take care of my vehicle though as I’m a stay at home mom and want to keep it as nice as possible to last. I mentioned how this was definitely not there and I was kind of just shocked. I ended up calling and being it back to show them this was definitely not there beforehand. I was wondering what the heck happened. I was told this was from rocks on the road and any other body shop would say the same thing. Not getting anywhere with them I decided to leave and go to two other body shops who confirmed this is in fact not from rocks. Both shops said it looked like something had been sprayed that dissolved the paint. This is definitely something I would have noticed beforehand. Just make sure to take photos beforehand! If I could go back in time I would have taken the time to take photos of the inside / outside of my jeep.
My mother was out at a cafe today and her car wouldn’t start. Called AAA. A gentleman from this company showed. They determined it was a battery but he had no cables and his battery pack didn’t have much left so he left and one of the family had to come and jump her. How do you make a call and not come prepared for all possibilities?! He claimed it was someone else for the company that left the pack like that. Reported it to AAA and leaving a review here. I hate to leave negative reviews but the woman is 83 and he left her hanging. Please come prepared next time.
Very cold day. Had a flat tire on route 8 in Clayville. Dodge Ram. Had no idea there was a spare underneath the 8’ bed. A 6’6” giant came to my rescue!! Found my spare, and the weird tools that were under the passenger seat! Who knew? He removed the flat tire, had to get on his back for some of the hard work, on the cold, hard ground. Then filled the flat with the compressor!! So happy with his work ethic, perseverance, and knowledge!!! Great job!! Saved me so much hassle!!!
For people that you really hope you don’t have to see often they are awesome!!! Every single tow i’ve needed since i moved out here has been dispatched to Midland even when i was out on the thruway and last night after 3 different tow companies canceled cause i was at work “too far away” and i asked the AAA agent to reach out to midland next and they showed up right when i was walking out of the door from my shift (talk about perfect timing!!) I’ve had about 4-5 tows collectively from midland so far! Would definitely recommend if your ever stuck!
Got a flat tire at 6pm,called AAA & Midland collision got at my house within 20minutes!! I couldn't believe it....The man was JJ...He was so pleasant, great personality!!!!! It was a nice to have good customer service from Midland when so many others are miserable.... JJ is Awesome!!!
We were stranded on the thruway Monday evening 9/25/23 & JJ answered our call for a flat tire at Schuyler rest stop. He was quick to respond replaced the flat tire with our spare quicker than he could do the paperwork! His service was outstanding & a great guy!! Thank you again JJ👍

Place is a bunch of scum bags charged me $300 for a tow from Utica college to their place in New Hartford.I would not recommend these guys to anuone.

The tow driver Aaron was very rude. I would not recommend this company. Due to covid no one can ride in the tow truck. So he was given instructions on where to leave the vehicle when he dropped it off. He chose where he wanted to leave it; knowing that it would not start to be moved. By the time I get to the location (by uber) he is now no where to be found... thanks!! I suppose I will hire another tow service to move the vehicle to the other side of the property where I asked him to leave it.
Imagine being a collision company and one of your trucks doing 90 mph through that construction zone under the bridge on Route 5 almost colliding into the dividers and causing an accident between multiple cars and an tractor trailer. The irony. Happened today 9/7 around 810pm
I was there not for myself but just giving someone a ride and need to put oil in my car someone helped and that worked there service was fantastic

Had a tire blowout on the 49 called at 6am said they would be 30 to 45 minutes 2 and a half hours later they tell me to cal another company because of accidents of the highway

I was referred to Midland by AAA. I was traveling through the area and has a tire issue. Shout out to Erik who was helped me assess the situation, talk through options and even placed a call to help me locate the professionals I needed to get back on the road again, safely. Erik went the extra mile, in the freezing rain, to ensure I could drive the 300+ miles I needed to go that Saturday evening. With gratitude.
I called Midland around 2:00 and by 2:30 the tow truck showed up! Robert was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. This was the best experience I ve had towing a car, and I give Robert a ton of credit for helping me out in this freezing weather!
I hope AAA doesnt pay these guys for their lousy service!. The guy that came to help me was totally useless! I think his name was Jonathan and he had no clue about anything!
After AAA operator told me to call 911, they could only get me a tow, no help with transportation for myself my wife and little dogs. State police made a call to Midland Collision. With our van on flat bed we were given a ride home 60 miles away. AAA operator couldn t help or refused to try? But standing on the side of a highway with my wife and little dogs Is not emergency service I expect.

Do not trust these people. A bunch of scammers they are!!! Told me my 2010 camry would be fixed. They didnt look at it for weeks . Then tried to tell me a part cost double what it really costs. SCAMMERS . they should be put out of business.

A special shout-out to Tom for going out of his way to bring me my house keys after I had left them in the car the night of the accident. Also, Tony has been wonderful with keeping me updated during the entire insurance process. I would definitely recommend Midland for their professional, customer-centered service.

These are the guys that will come tow your car if youre pulled over by Uticabut I was pulled over on a Friday and normally total yards. Release on the weekend but the driver came out on a Saturday so I didnt have to pay an entire weekend of fees. All in all I give a 5 stars because they are not greedy as heck

Very rude people. Tony made us wait an hour and refused to give us our vehicle back. Gave us the run around on the phone too. He only cares about money and making people miserable. We did everything right and got him all the information he needed from the insurance company and he still gave us a hassle for no reason.
