on 5/22 made an appt for 5/26 for state inspection, I arrived for my appt to a sign on the door saying no state inspections until further notice bc of a system issue. I would ve loved to know that before I wasted my time coming to the shop. the dude behind the counter told me it s been down since wednesday so that s plenty of time to have contacted me to tell me about this. he told me he didn t have an eta as to when it ll be fixed and he offered no customer service such as scheduling an appt for next week or calling me when it s fixed. I said there s no excuse for not telling me, a paying customer, about this issue and his response was that I should leave and not come back because of my sarcasm an employee in the parking lot when I was leaving asked me what happened and she said did he tell you to come back next week? when i told her what he said she sighed and rolled her eyes. this will be my first and only experience with this company.

Ordered a new tire for me after a flat and got it installed next day. Whole process took less than 30m. Very pleased and would recommend.

Took my car for an inspection. Convenient saturday appts, nice waiting area and my inspection was done super quick. The staff was friendly. Will definitely continue coming here for future appointments

I was unable to get in contact with the shop for a week because their phone lines always give a busy signal. Then I went in for a simple tire rotation of my new winter tires/rims (already mounted and balanced, so just a rotation), and was charged 70 dollars even though their website advertised 30. Also the tires did not get their tpms programmed which is fine because I have a tool and can do it myself but they said my car doesnt need learning which isnt true. But I noticed upon leaving one tire was very low so I had to take it to put air in it. A bit disappointed with all those issues and costs over a simple tire rotation. Owner was courteous though. Edit: Just realized they also left the stickers on the tires. Doesnt seem like the best idea on winter tires which the entire purpose of is maximizing grip. I really have no choice but to leave 1 star here.

Recently I tried this shop for what I thought was a simple issue and was very pleased. CJ was wonderful to work with and texted me over the course of a few days to keep me informed in the process and provided clear quotes at every step. In addition, he went out of his way to make sure my best interests were being taken care of overall, giving multiple options with clear pros and cons without prompting. I will definitely be coming back here with any of my car needs.

Under new management. Great place to go and get your vehicle looked at. CJ was amazing and walked us through everything that we needed to get done with the car and exactly why.please if u need your car fixed visit this place and ask for CJ the new manager. He was so help will not go anywhere else.

Wife had a flat tire over the weekend and we called Mon morning and they were able to get us right in and patch it up in about 20 min and for only $30! Thanks guys!

After being told that we needed new brake pads and rotors all around and being quoted $1100 for the job, we decided to bring the car for a second look. Having moved further away, its not all that convenient for us to get to the shop, but we will never go anywhere else again. They looked at our brakes and told us we did NOT have to have our brakes done yet - how rare is it to find a mechanic that wont just take you for a ride?! Great shop!

Had a flat tire, called Adirondack and they were able to repair/replace the entire thing within five minutes of me arriving. Team members were efficient, polite and great to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Took my car here after two other mechanics couldn t resolve my problem and claimed I had other problems. Russ took my car, repaired it in one day, was honest and fair. Didn t need most of the repairs the other places claimed I did. Have only taken my car here since and will only take it here. He does welding too!

I was going nuts dealing with the dealership to fix a small thing. Russ was able to take me the same day. His price was very fair compared to the dealer and other shops I called for this issue. Same day service, coupled with good work and great prices, will keep me coming back. W

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a mechanic who does amazing work ! Russell is very professional and is very meticulous about making sure you ride off in a safe vehicle. My car had been making noises for a couple days and I was so relieved when he told me just to bring it in and replaced my brake pads in more than a timely manner ! I will always come back here for any of my repairs for my car.

I have been here many time but is under new management. I had a two blown headlights and was told by my dealership that they could not put a headlight in the passenger side because the light had melted into the socket. The estimated the job at $600, so I had been driving around with one headlight for a good 6 months because that was astronomical.I came in for a new tire one was leaking air and asked him to replace the one bulb and told him what the dealership told me. He surprising was able to clean up the connector and replace both headlights! I was so pleased and walked away with only $118 bill for both services. Excellent customer service.

Great experience. My wifes car needed new tires and Russ was great at helping me decide on the best brand. I like that he really wants customers to get what they need and want. He doesnt try to bullsh*t you. He just tells it like it is. They have helped me out in a few other instances. Great shop.

My experience was a 5 out of 5 stars. I unfortunately needed to get 4 brand new tires on my Jetta GLI 2020 and I needed all that comes with getting new tires. Russ was one to the point, reasonable, and just very understanding with the situation I was in needing 4 brand new tires. He helped me understand what was needed and went above and beyond when the power went out. He went to his home grabbed a generator just to finish my car. I am very pleased with the work and if I am ever in need of services I will be going back to them. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience. The customer service we received was unmatched and very rare. Russ is definitely the guy to go to if you need to find a fair and trustworthy mechanic. He was very professional and responded right away. I had an issue with my Honda Accord and a different auto shop in Schenectady tried to scam me on parts and labor cost and Russ figured out the problem right away and told us what the real issue was and fixed it fast. No nonsense here! He was very understanding, efficient, and fair. He was also able to fit me in right away. If I could rate this place higher I would! Don t hesitate to go to this location. It s perfect.

Great little mechanic shop. They can take drop in services or appointments. The guys are honest and give fair prices for their work. I never felt like I was being tricked or upcharged for the work theyve done on my car. Just saved a couple hundred dollars on a wheel bearing job compared to taking it to a dealership for service. I would highly recommend them.

Mike and his team helped my wife and I out of jam on my our road trip this weekend. We came in with a screw in the rear tire of our Grand Cherokee. His guys plugged the tire and had us back on the road in less than 10 mins. Very professional and efficient service! Came in for a flat dump trailer tire. They had it replaced quickly so I could get back to work and the price was very reasonable. Gentleman at front desk was personable and got it done . Great service.

Managed to strip one of my lug studs, and now over tighten one of my lug nuts to where another shop couldnt get it off without breaking the lug nut. Although they repaired the stripped stud, I cant say Ill be going back knowing they managed to break my car twice.

Broke my cars wheel Couple times. In pandemic manager never has mask ..not professional. Never using again. Though they tried to repair , found out later that lugnut was ovetightened on wheel . Only found out when in another shop to rotate tires . The other shop could not get the lugnut off without destroying it as it was overtightened . Had i had to change that wheel if flat tire i would have been stranded and needed a tow truck . Shoukd not have had to find out about this elsewhere .

Catalytic converters are expensive but Mike found me a great value and his team repaired my exhaust system to my complete satisfaction. Mike also went far and above my expectation and found me a buyer for the old catalytic converter and saved me hundreds of dollars! Very grateful for Mike and team. Youre the best!

Great experience! Woke up this morning with a flat tire. Called right before 8am and spoke to Russell. Within 10 min he got back to me with a quote and I brought it right in and had my vehicle back by noon. Exceeded my expectations and personally I feel like he went above and beyond. Amazing customer service.

Russ was just amazing! I called at 7:30 AM to have a flat fixed. He told me to come right in - no appointment needed! He plugged my tire and even replaced the donut; wasn t even there for 15 minutes. Thank you, Russ! I ll be back for sure - just hopefully not with another flat!

Do not trust them. They replaced my rear brake pads and rotors at their recommendation. Less than a week later my brakes failed on the highway as it turns out they didn t secure the calipers so one fell off and the other was loose. Almost a month later and they still have not refunded me.

I worked with the professionals at the Upper Union Street location to have a tire patched. The staff was friendly and immediately fixed my tire and checked the bolt tension on all tires in addition to the one being fixed. Need 2 new tires for my other vehicle and plan on going to ATS.

I was very pleased with my service AND the appearance of the former Tire Warehouse. While I didn t know the business had changed hands, it became apparent that real effort has gone into making the corner business look much better. Although it was as 90 degrees- I enjoyed sitting outside on the new stone flower boxes filled with beautiful perennials. The new manager Mike was very professional (as was the mechanic) who serviced my vehicle. I could tell that Mike is very interested in making a difference. Great job Adirondack Tires!

This is the best place you could go for anything you need. Mike and his team are amazing. Totally honest and reliable. I live near by and have gone their for everything. Recently I needed an axle repair and Mike searched all over and was able to get the part price much lower. My son s undercarriage shield was dragging and I brought it in. They just reattached it and didn t even charge me! They have a loyal customer in me forever.

Mike and his guys are the absolute best. They care about the neighborhood theyre in and take care of their people. You can trust what they say. Theyre not trying to sell you extra stuff you dont need, they look for every way to save you money and get you back on the road quickly. Cant say enough about this place. Took tire in for repair. Was told tire could not be repaired. Took tire to another shop for a second opinion and was told tire could be repaired to safety standards but that the bead was torn when dismounted by adirondack tire so tire is no longer good. Long story short they destroyed my tire while dismounting and instead of taking the noble way out and replacing my tire for their mistake they told me that the tire was unrepairable. Stay away from here....with so many options in the area find a shop with honesty and integrity not a sob story.
