Called the day before and asked if I could drop my car off for an oil change and have it ready by a certain time the day after, he said that was fine. Dropped my car off, let him know, he texted me the next day at the time I was supposed to pick it up saying he didn t see it where I dropped it off. Called him and he said he hadn t seen it the night before. If so, why not tell me? I called him after his text and said he wasn t even at the shop yet, didn t know if it was there. So now I m bugging out thinking it got stolen. 30 minutes later I show up, he still isn t there, car was right where I left it and set him a picture of it, so I took my key from his shop and left. Completely ruined my plans for the day as I was then driving it on a trip. Had to go find somewhere else to get it done.

Couldn t be happier with my decision to go to Sam. Car went down and I was in a jam. It was just before the shop closed but Sam answered my random call anyway, finding his number by googling in a panic a nearby mechanic online. You can immediately tell by the sincerity in his voice that he was genuine. Helped me find a tow, confirmed when he received my car, managed and communicated expectations perfectly, and guess what, fixed a unique problem perfectly. Explained everything he did clearly for me to understand and the price was more than fair. Sam earned a customer for life and I find it funny that by a random chance that I found him. I ll never use anyone else moving forward. When you know nothing or little about cars and need a mechanic you can trust.. just go see Sam and his team. You can thank me later.

My car broke down at Palisades Hospital so it was a very stressfull time for me. I found Sam while doing a google search and he was extremely helpful from the beginning. Arranged a Tow truck and got my car back to me just after a few hours. He is probably the nicest mechanic I have ever met in my life. I live far away but I will still like to go back to him whenever I face an issue with my car.

My son and I were visiting the New York/New Jersey area, and during our trip, our car started having problems and making a strange noise. We needed the car assessed and fixed quickly so we could drive home safely on schedule. We called several places that would not fit us into their schedule for at least a week. When we called Sam, he was able to help us right away. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed for us the next day, even though he had many other cars in his shop. We were able to drive back with peace of mind, and the car is running great now.

I called looking around for a good mechanic which is hard to find , and ask him if it possible for me to get seen today and he made it happen , the service was quick and he made sure I test drive my car before I leave ! I drove all the way from Long Island to Jersey for a gig (Mobile DJ). The gig was from 11 AM - 3 PM and my car broke down just before the gig. Luckily I made it to the gig but knew I had to get the car fixed before driving it back to Long Island. So it s 3 PM by the time the gig ends on a Saturday and it s usually a nightmare just trying to find someone open at that time. I googled and found Sam. Not only was he open but he got my car fixed that same day. My car runs great, I got home safe, and was at home sleeping in my bed on Long Island that night. And the price was great too. Would 100/100 recommend. Thanks so much Sam! You re a lifesaver!

After getting back to my car, that sat for 1x week, at the cruise parking lot, we noticed a loud thumping noise. We had many hours of driving to get back home, and did not feel safe. Other garages had no availability and we were in a jam. I called Sam s garage and he answered before the start of his business day and told us to him the vehicle. Sam saved the day! Super cool guy and always charges a fair price

I had an issue with my AC in a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. No other mechanic said they would be able to take care of it today. But I called Sam and never even had to ask that question. Within a few responses back and forth via phone call Sam practically knew what the issue was and told me to bring it in within the hour. I didn t mind paying him the fair price he quoted me at for the work ($750 to replace a radiator and AC blowing unit + some other intricacies I didn t comprehend). Thank you Sam for your hard work and dedication, folks like you are few and far between these days.

Amazing experience Sam is the one and only technician that could fix my 2007 Cadillac Escalade ext even the Cadillac dealership tried to take my money and act as if my truck was done for and Sam was able to fix it permenantly for good after lots of diagnostics which I like about him he is not only a great technician but a technician who truly loves his job and never gives up on his customer it s not just about the money with him he truly loves to get the job done and get it done right

Sam was very helpful and got the job well done! Most body shops are closed on Sundays in the area but it was very helpful that he and his staff were open. Most importantly he helped me identify the noise coming from my car by taking a drive with me before and AFTER the job was done to make sure its all in order. I never came across a mechanic test driving the car with me to be that thorough. As a customer, it was very reassuring of the work! Trust-worthy shop.

Other auto shop wanted to redo the whole engine for $4K. Sam recommended starting from basic maintenance and see if that solves the problem (misfires). Spark plugs were replaced and 2 coils. Its did the work. Cars got 300K miles on it. If its good for 50K Im good.

Sam knows his craft, he spent years at a luxury car dealership as a master techinician. He is one of the very few honest and compassionate shop owner I ve dealt with. My radiator needed to be replaced and he did not up-sell anything since I was on a tight budget. I ve noticed other customers were happy with his services, and his mechanics are knowledgeable and very polite as well. He has a direct line when calling his shop. He made me test drove my car with him on the passenger after the repairs were done to make sure everything is good. Thank you Sam!

I recently had my car serviced at Sam s Automotive Repair; Sam was kind and efficient. He fixed my car s front bumper for an affordable price and his crew even straightened out my plate which was dented in, and fixed a pushed in back reflector, which wasn t part of the job or price.. About 2 weeks ago, I had to get an oil change and tire pressure done quickly, I called and got an appointment for the next morning! The price was cheaper than I expected. Sam even looked at my tires and gave me some pointers since I am a new car owner. I am very pleased with the service I received, and I will use Sams services to help maintain my car.

A couple of my brake lines were leaking leaving me virtually without brakes. Sam said Im busy but Ill help you out. I have 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe a couple months ago my car wasnt moving until I warmed it up for hour.i went to several mechanics but none of them could tell me what my cars problem was .some were telling me it was a transmission problem, some others were telling me lies just to get money out of me.i went to see Sams automotive and the same exact day he told me exactly what my cars problem was and fixed it. He is really a great mechanic and has a excellent customer service . His prices are reasonable and he is not a crook like some of this fake mechanic out there. I would a hundred percent recommend him to anybody that will like to get their car fixed because he is a trustable person, hard working man and has a great reputation. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

I went to Sams repair on a sunday morning as soon as they opened after calling their office and confirming a time. I had damaged the side panel on my car. Sam very expertly took it out and fixed the broken clips and adjusted it back on. He was so efficient and thorough I cant even tell I had broken it. I had a very positive experience at Sams Automotive repair and highly recommend them.

Sams auto repair is the best I cant begin to explain how much Sam help me out. He didnt have to go out of his way to help but he did. Bottom line up front - Sam was super professional and transparent from the first time we met. He diagnosed the issue in 60 minutes and had an estimate ready to go 15 minutes after that. I shopped his rate, got 2nd and 3rd opinions (1 from an actual Subaru dealer) and he was still the cheapest w/ best availability. He completed the work in 48 hrs and its been driving like new. Hope I dont have to come back but if I do, hes my first option.

Extremely professional! It was the only shop that I could find in the area, to fix my power window on a cold January Sunday. Coming from a long drive from Florida to Massachusetts, the power window cable snapped. Sam and his guys did a great job. Hed definitely be my mechanic if I lived in the area.

I was fairly new to the area and finding a good mechanic is always difficult. Thank goodness I found SAM!! I have kept my 2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA in good condition (250k miles and original owner) and was looking for a mechanic to help me keep it running . SAM is probably the third mechanic that has worked on my truck over the past 16 years and he is a rare find. SAM has done two complete brake jobs, front and rear, oil changes and most recently he replaced my original starter. Both brake jobs he used quality parts, workmanship is meticulous and no short cuts! Most recent job was like open heart surgery because the starter was buried underneath the intake manifold!!! This was a 5 hour job based upon Toyota and online repair sites, and of course SAM was able to do it and put all parts and screws back in place. For a vehicle owner, who keeps their vehicles in good shape, having SAM as a mechanic is havin peace of mind. Reviews don t lie and SAM is someone you can trust and rely on. FYI- he did the most recent job Jan 27, a SUNDAY, and it was late and 5 hour job!!

Not only did Sam change my oil but did an all points check up of all fluids, topping what needed to be topped.
