Being a popular high school jock that knows nothing about cars makes me an easy target for mechanics to take advantage of. Thankfully the team at Citywide is full of kind hearted men who always have the customers best interest in mind. My Nissan Altima with 250k miles on it was on life support. I brought her to Citywide and they brought my baby back to life. I broke down in Mahopac and had the pleasure of being towed by one of the owners Gary (Irish guy who pretends to be italian). He was at the scene within minutes and was super polite and helpful. The owner Mike (Goofty Italian Guy) and his team performed all the necessary work to keep my car running while keeping the cost low. I am thankful I have found my new family mechanic and will be a citywide customer for life.

My truck died at Taconic Pkwy MM 18.7 just after noon today on a hot 21JUN2024, enroute from Upstate to a college classmates funeral service in White Plains. CITYWIDE was apparently the tow outfit the trooper who stopped contacted. I am grateful to CITYWIDEs prompt, professional, courteous flatbed driver. Ginette made short work of the paperwork and getting me into contact with a rental car outfit. Come to find out co-owner Gary K. is also an alumnus with me and the fellow I was headed to funeral for today. I likely wont know from CITYWIDE the extent of my trucks problem until Monday. Its my third one of that make / model, so I have an idea. But based on the CITYWIDE courteous, professional and thoughtful help provided to me today, I am fairly confident things will turn out OK - even if I need to find another vehicle. Excellent service from the time I arrived. The office manager was super friendly. They kept me informed of everything. Had my car towed to them on Wednesday late afternoon and picked my car up on Thursday afternoon. Great experience and they were very knowledgeable and gave me important information on how to keep my car running smoothly. Have to add the beautiful mascot (the dog) was super friendly and loving. I would 100% recommend this place to my family and friends.

Highly recommend! My car broke down while I was out of town for work. I have AAA, so I had my car towed to this auto shop. I explained nicely that the very next day I am scheduled to be in another state for work and that if at all possible to please move quickly to figure out whats wrong so we can get it fixed without me falling behind schedual by days. I could be wrong, but I believe his name was Giovanni, who called me and explained to me what was wrong. I had lots of questions, and he took the time to explain everything to me in detail and emailed me a full breakdown estimate of parts and labor, and I was SHOCKED to see such honest and fair pricing. My car was towed, accessed, and REPAIRED all in one day. And still to this day, my car is driving like brand new. They even stayed open a little later than normal so I could come pick up my car. I couldnt have picked a better place to send my car, and they made a woman over a 1000 miles away from home feel so much better in this stressful situation. 10 out of 10 Highly Recommend. I found this shop while looking for a tow company to take my car to the dealership - I went with them for the price. The gentleman who came and picked up my car was prompt, courteous and very nice. Soon after that tow my car needed repairs - I had no idea what it needed - I came to them with a list of things that I heard, felt and at some point probably imagined! They took my car in and found two things. They could have, at that point told me that I had to fix both (other places I have been to would have said they couldnt diagnose the one without fixing the other). I was worried and would have fixed both of them. But instead they told me the TRUTH - take care of one job at a time and lets see what happens - if the car runs right w/the simple fix we can then fix the other thing - if the car doesnt then I could look into a big fix or a new car :-( They nailed the problem with a simple fix and the second problem was simple also and that was taken care of. I left their office feeling great. Feeling like they actually cared. Recently I had another repair needed, yes I am trying to avoid a new car;-) I thought it was going to cost more money than I could put into the car-I thought an exhaust system, I was counting my pennies, getting ready to break the bank. I dropped the car off, they got to it quickly and efficiently. They called me and told me it was another inexpensive fix to the exhaust system instead of a new system. Again, honesty. This shop is filled with honest and caring people! I have dealt with many auto mechanics and repair shops over the years and I have NEVER walked away from them feeling like they were sincerely taking care of the customer. Citywide Automotive has never treated me as if I didnt know what I was talking about because I am a woman. Each mechanic and the owner listen and are above and beyond honest, sincere and caring. Then it started making a sound like a Jack hammer so I pulled into this wonderful company and asked if they could help. The lug nuts came loose. So Gary tightened them up and I was great all the way home. Just want to say how professional and nice he was. I m a few min it was done with a smile. There was another young man there but I didn t catch his name. They both were wonderful. I would highly recommend you have your car serviced there because it s just a great, clean place. I was stranded on the Taconic State Parkway and requested a tow via AAA. Unfortunately, AAA informed me that they are not contracted to tow off the parkway, they will call the state police who will send a 3rd party Tow company that can tow me. Within minutes, a H.E.L.P Truck and David Jr. from Citywide Automotive and Towing showed up. Mr. David Jr. gave me an option of being towed to the next exit or being towed home. Although a bit agitated, I didnt want Mr. David Jr. to go out of his way to take me home because the AAA representative assured me that a Tow truck will be at the designated area to tow me and my car home. Mr. David Jr. insisted once again and I declined. He was very professional, respectful and pleasant. He treated my car with absolute care. I was left in a well lighted area. I was safe and my car was placed down perfectly in a parking spot. Unfortunately, AAA did not live up to their promise. I was stranded for 3 more hours. I called and spoke to a representative and she alleges that she was a supervisor and theres no one above her. She was very unprofessional and rude towards me. She had the nearest tow company on the phone and he too was very aggressively speaking and belittled me. I was told you need me, I dont need you, followed by a great deal of unpleasant words. I immediately called back the number on the receipt I received from Mr. David Jr. I was given a suggested 20 minutes wait. Citywide Automotive and Towing came long before the wait time. The driver was David III. I was informed he was the son of the first driver. Like Father, Like Son. He was very professional and caring. He understood my frustration even remained silent as another AAA representative wasnt being professional on the phone. He took great care of my car as he connected and lifted it. He was patient and understanding. He took me and my car home safely. He obeyed all the traffic rules and regulations. He informed me about the route he had to take. He answered all the questions I had and treated me with the upmost respect. Although, it was under a stressful circumstance, David Jr and David III did an amazing job. This company should be so proud that they hire people with dignity and grace. I will be forwarding this companys information to everyone I know and I will leave the best reviews every chance I get. They are definitely an asset to the company. I hope this company flourish in business. Thank you again for turning a not so great experience in a wonderful experience. Youre highly appreciated.

They assured me they were going to give me a ride home (4 min drive) and then pick me up when my car was ready. When I showed up this morning as agreed they make wait for almost an hour and then told me rudely that they were too busy to give me a ride. I ended up wasting my time. This people don t care about their customers.

So far so great! My clutch burnt out just north of NYC, only about 250 miles from home.... My insurance called Citywide and theyve been wonderful throughout this process! While driving south on the Taconic, my Mercedes Benz caught a flat tire on the front passenger side. I was able to exit off at Cold Spring for a safe location. My son called Citywide and they came within 15 minutes. They were helpful and polite to make sure my family and I were okay. Great business! Trustworthy, confident, efficient, and good price. Story- I was on the side of the road with a flat tire, which wouldn t have been so bad until two good samaritans stopped to help, but instead of truly helping, they knocked my car off the jack and off the pavement into the side of the road. I had to call a tow, which I never had to do before. Gary the owner showed up within twenty mins of my call, knew he could get me back onto the pavement, then used his equipment to help me safely change the tire without having to tow me anywhere. I was given a really fair price, and he was very kind. Thank you!!

This place right down the road from my house helped me with an oil change and inspection. Our union uses them to move equipment and plates for us. Called them to tow me personally back to them for repairs because they work with our union. Not only did they tow me in for free but Mike had my car back to me in less than a week after welding on my new exhaust doing tires and brakes all around. I thought the price was fair for repairs and they didn t charge me for the tow.

I needed roadside assistance because my car got stranded, I made a phone call to citywide automotive towing and the person picked up and said we are not towing at the moment and time. Scheduled a same day appointment for two vehicles to be inspected without any hassle. Staff was very friendly from the time we walked in, and the Gentleman behind the counter talked to my Grandfather and I while both our cars were being inspected. Nice friendly, family vibe.

While driving south on the Taconic, the air in my front passenger tire suddenly went flat. I took the first exit off the highway, and was super lucky to find Mike at Citywide Automotive. He was super helpful in assessing the tire and fixing it straight away. I was back on the road within 15-20 minutes! I consider myself lucky and grateful to have found this place!

My company had a limousine break down right off the taconic exit near there shop. They were able to get it towed to the shop with their tow truck. After going over the problem first thing in the morning they ordered the needed parts and within 2 hours or less had the limo back on the road for my 2 hour trip home. Great bunch of guys, very reasonable and hopefully I dont have anything else break down near them but if I did they would be the only people that I would be calling.

Today was my second encounter within the last 6 Months calling city wide (talk about bad luck.) both situations I had called Gary to come give me a tow. Today he was there within 30 minutes, although i was Furious about my car being stuck on the side of the road, Gary made me forget about that almost instantly. He had me laughing the entire ride back and gave me advice on what steps to take next. He towed it to a trust mechanic shop that he recommended, then even offered to bring me to enterprise to get a rental. Very satisfied with the customer service, very trusted and reliable.

My car was running funny so I got off the highway at their exit. They fixed my car as I waited and had me back on road in an hour or so. Excellent costumer service, good pricing, highly recommend them.

Nothing but a good experience. Brought in my Jeep that had a rotted out frame. They rebuilt and reinforced it pretty quick considering what I gave them to work with. They let me watch and helped teach me how to weld on my own vehicle. Have taken it off roading multiple times since and haven t had any issues.

Gary is the best! I have used CityWide twice, once for myself and once for my nanny. I have a steep driveway, and they had to use a flatbed to tow a pick-up truck on a Saturday afternoon - the driver was quick and really knew what he was doing. Another time, I was about to get on the Taconic on Peekskill Hollow Rd with a front flat tire, and luckily it was right by the Citywide shop. I cant thank CityWide Auto enough for saving me, my kids and my puppy on that cold night.

Had an overall great experience with this company- very fast to my family every time we have a car issue. They have mechanics onsite as well to assist and let you know where the vehicle stands. GREAT COMPANY!!

I got a flat tire at 2 in the morning leaving my friends house from college and did not know the area. I googled roadside assistance in my area and after getting two companies that said they had no drivers available I called Citywide. They responded promptly and changed my tire fast. After the driver was done he led me out to the highway because my phone did not have enough service for my gps to work. Their fast and professional service will make them my go to if I ever have any issues with my car again when Im visiting. Thank you again Citywide!

I broke down in my Dodge 5500 after a long day of work. I called Citywide and their driver not only picked me up fast and towed my truck to my shop, but also gave me a ride home after. Thank you Citywide and thank you Gary!

I got stuck in a snow bank last night. After 2 hours AAA told me they couldnt get a truck to my location and that I was basically on my own. I started calling companies myself off Google and Citywide said they could come get me. They gave me the price before and came fast. The part that made me want to write this review is that the driver also followed me to my house because my car is rear wheel drive to make sure I got home safe.

I had crashed during the last snowstorm in the middle of the night. I called my brother and he recommended Citywide. They came fast worked with my insurance and had me back in my car looking brand new in a week.

I read a few online reviews for tow companies near me and begrudgingly picked one with great fear i was going to be taken advantage of in my time of need. Im certainly glad I picked Citywide. The response was incredibly fast, the driver was friendly and courteous and the pricing was up front and reasonable.
