They did not fix my AC which is the main reason for my visit. They said it s a whole process but they did however do an oil change and wanted me to come back to get more work done. Shame on them. Find somewhere else to get your work done.

Easily 5 stars...I own a 2007 ACURA TL, was in need for a BRAKE JOB (4 Rotors, 4 brake lines, 4 brake pad pairs, 4 calipers, and a brake fluid replacement) and I was already worried about choosing a new mechanic around the area. I saw these guys after a bit of browsing and decided to go with them because their sign says they specialize in Asian autos. So I made a reservation on their website, which I highlighted exactly what I needed to do for this reservation and within seconds of arrival I was greeted by name and the car I owned. Walked into their office and proceeded to talk business with Daniel the guy in charge of providing me with a quote for the job I needed. They were fair and reasonable and after accepting the quote, they were ready to work on the vehicle immediately said its most likely going to be ready the next day or the following. Within the following days they kept me up to speed with the changes they have been making and gave me updates via text. Honestly, it was a phenomenal service. When the car was ready I came to pick it up and paid. However, I noticed my new brake setup causing some noise to come from the new hardware that was used for the setup. No problem, brought the TL back the next day and they immediately got to work on the issue and didnt charge me as it was a small mistake on their end. I waited in their comfortable waiting room area and had free coffee and waited for my car that was given amazing new brakes. 10/10 service without a doubt. They ran a complimentary check on my vehicle for any existing issues so now in the future I know who I will be making business with again. Thank you!

I ve been taken advantage of many times by mechanics thinking that I don t know anything about my car. I didn t have to prove myself at all at essential auto care. They took care of me as, a customer that they respected and valued from the second I walked in the door. They didn t try to get me to do anything extra, like most mechanics do these days. they didn t overcharge me, they sent me images with details of what I may possibly need to get done within the next few times I visit. This kind of service is extremely valuable to me. my partner, and I will now make this our primary mechanic

I had a great experience at Essential Auto. Dan is the sweetest and most honest guy. I came from Acura service and they told me I needed work worth $5,000. Being that my cars warranty was over, I looked up mechanics near me on Google and came across Essential with all 5 star reviews. I gave it a shot and Im glad I did. They are honest, reasonable and told me I didnt need 2 out of the 3 repairs Acura suggested. Being a woman and not too knowledgeable with cars, they didnt use my lack of knowledge against me. Essential Auto is always amazing. They take care of you from start to finish. No matter what I come in for, oil change, engine light, they make sure to do a full head to toe assessment of my car so that nothing else is missed or becomes a problem later on. What s nice is you get the whole work up emailed to you and priced out for expected cost. You re never left pressured to get a particular service there and now. Everything is always explained, and everyone is super helpful and nice Kelsey always answers all the questions in easy to understand terms for us automatively challenged ones like myself. The waiting area is also one of the nicest lounges I ve ever been in at a car repair shop. You can actually sit on the couches without fear of getting an oil stain on your clothes, and they provide water, coffee and WiFi , which is my personal favorite so I can get some work done and answer emails while I wait.

Brought my car there to get work done,I got quoted over 7k for the work.parts n labor Labor was over 4+k,parts about 2k Do it urself n save,not worth it,over priceed This is a key example of the mechanics losing the trade, thanks to business like this.what ever happened to hourly rates,they all charge by the part now of days.this doesnt work for the customer only benefits the shops

Brought my Subaru Outback with 141k miles to have its cvt transmission flushed and refilled. The local garage did not have the means to do it. The job was done timely, it took longer for the cvt fluid to arrive rather than the service itself. The car runs like a champ, smoother than before.

Great service and very fair. I brought car in for a grating noise over one of the wheels and they could have literally told me and charged me anything. Instead they just bent something slightly back into place and no charge. No issues since. Brought back for oil change and to replace battery at very reasonable rates. Happy to recommend.

Ive been bringing my car to Essential Auto for years. They are trustworthy, reliable and very good at what they do. They always have great communication and are great group of people to work with. I feel very fortunate to have found these folks and wouldnt bring my vehicle anywhere else in the city!

After check this place reviews in Google, I confirmed by myself why they got 5 stars, the experience is amazing. Daniel greeted me with a smile, everyone was happy and polite, after the service was performed they explained everything that was done with detail. A day after they sent me a copy of the invoice to my email and the invoice has a lot of information and pictures, I am really happy that I found this place. Highly recommended.

Kelsey and Daniel are the first kind faces you see once entering the doors, they really care and show you details when speaking with their mechanics on your vehicle. Every time I take my Subaru forester there, it s a new great experience and complete rejuvenating for my cars performance to continue being maintained at its highest peak performance.

I did a pre-purchase inspection here, and Kelsey gave me a thorough and patient explanation of the diagnosis. Everyone was very friendly and they fit me in same day. The results were honest, and Id recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I would recommend this place for wheel alignment and general check up. The service was fast and it served it purpose. We had a 3 days long drive during spring break and my car is doing fine. They have also a comfortable waiting area which is I liked it specially if you are waiting for your car to get fix. A little pricey though but I dont mind paying as long as I got the service I need.

I knew had a had a couple issues with my car to include getting an oil changed. I went to the location and the issues I feared needed tending to Essential Auto Care identified immediately. Kelsey discussed the issues with me and told me what options I had to fix them. She gave me a great price and we moved forward with caring for all the issues. They were very prompt and had my car back within the dame day. They do great work and are very personable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who needs top notch work done on their car.

Recently needed a yearly maintenance for my 2010 Ford. Was recommended here by an old buddy of mine. Despite fears of shady shops I dropped my car off and I was pleasantly surprised with the entire operation. The team at Essential heard all my requests and complaints with regard to the vehicle and went above and beyond. Had a CE light. cracked windshield, and a few minor work (it s a 2010!). The team not only kept me in the loop daily, they had a live web thing that showed you their progress status as well jobs done so far. Any issues that came up had clear pictures to support. Kelsey was super kind and courteous letting me know if there were any changes in status. Their projected parts delivery times were consistent. They even cleared out a rodent next that lived under my hood rent free. Their pricing falls in line with industry. Their services was definitely above industry. This shop is headed by solid people. And as a new customer it s a breath of fresh air to see. I hope to not visit mechanics shop ever again but if I have to I m coming back to Essential Auto

I am so happy that I found this company. I wish i had found it sooner to take care of all my auto service needs. Kelsey the service advisor is very welcoming and helpful. I received a detailed vehicle health check with recommendations about what needs to be service on my vehicle and along with photos of the area in the vehicle that is a concern. I was given the option to approve or decline for them to service my vehicle. I also spoke with Phil, who showed me a full view photo of the area of an engine oil leak . I will continue to use this company for future services on my vehicle. The main take away is that a detailed health check is given and the areas of concern. I called Essential Auto Care and the got me in within the hour, were so friendly, helpful, and took great care of my car. The went through everything thoroughly with me. I will definitely be back!

You have an Excellent Customer Service specially Kelsey who kept me updated from time to time. Shes such a doll! However, not so happy on Vics recommendation of rebuilding the heads as he could not give me a 100% assurance of fixing the problem. Am still debating if Ill spend $3.5K on this job. Btw, vehicle hesitates when accelerating at high speed (60-70mph). The good thing CEL so far hasnt come back on. It has gone 70 miles since I drove it last Friday.

Think twice before you go to that place!! If you want lose your time and money this is the right place, you going to spend a lot of money for nothing! I spent $538.00 , when I tried to get my refund they offered me (credit for next time) Nobody coming back to a place when a vendor offer bad service .

Excellent customer service. They had cozy lounge for customer to wait comfortably. Addressed my concern accurately even as simple as vulcanizing tires. They found 3 screws (2 in rear left and 1 in rear right) and they honestly gave feedback that only one went through (1 in right rear). Gave me discount (savings for me) and fixed the tire pretty well! Problem solved! One satisfied customer here. More power to this shop.

Excellent first time experience! I went in for an oil change but they did a full inspection for free. Kelsey went through the inspection that included pictures of the parts that needed care. I already knew some of the issues so I could tell the mechanics were really taking the time to inspect my car. Super professional and nice but also didn t pressure me to get anything done while I was there. Kelsey took the time to find tire quotes and give me the best pricing. They also had a really nice waiting area to stay while my car was being worked on. Honest and fair pricing - would definitely recommend!

Essential Auto Care is the best. Kelsey was awesome over the phone and in person. She really listened and understood what the issue was and was very clear and super friendly and ultra-professional- top notch- you couldnt ask for better service. We left our car there for some pretty intricate repairs and we got our car back exactly when they said they would have it ready- which was very quickly for what needed to be done. I have brought my previous car here and this newer car and will bring any car there and no where else going forward. It is not your typical mechanic experience- they are super professional, experts, run a great operation and service and their location is clean and immaculate. I hate to pay for car repairs like everyone else, but when I need to, I will be giving my dough to Essential- 5 stars to the 5th power- dont even think about it- just go if you need your car repaired. Their prices are honest and fair and they are very reliable and truthful. Great, great experience and Kelsey was awesome!!

If ever you are looking for a good honest auto repair shop, this is it! I brought my Forester in for a possible brake and exhaust vibration problem. As it turns out, there was no brake problem but my exhaust was another story. I received a very professional quote for the repairs needed, complete with photos of the problem. Not even the Subaru dealer Ive been going to for many years takes photos regarding a repair quote. The price quote was in the middle of the standard price range for an exhaust system replacement. The go ahead was given and a day and a half later my car was ready. A great job was done on my vehicle and I when I received my bill I was amazed to see it was considerably less than the quote I had originally received! Thank you, Essential Auto Care. I lucked out finding this place and will now be a repeat customer! I will never go back to the dealership for car services again, they treat me like a number, try to upsell, and appointments have to be made weeks in advance. I always walked away feeling scammed, but the team at Essential Auto Care left a wonderful impression; they cared about me! My brake pads were worn down (my fault, I let my car go too far past 6 months without service) and I called on a Friday afternoon, a half hour before the shop closes, and Kelsey fit me in 8am first thing upon opening on Monday. The team of mechanics were efficient and conducted a full inspection of the car within an hour of taking it in. The parts order and replacement was completed by end of day! I appreciated the honest notes and advice on additional things that required my attention, noting if they were optional or recommended future repair/replacement. Kelsey was also the icing on the cake with her attentive service. She relayed information quickly, showed myself and other guests great hospitality, and even worked to get the cost down a bit! The brakes also came with a 3 year warranty which was a pleasant surprise. I came in feeling anxious about my car and whether or not I would be treated like a nuisance. Kelsey is so personable that I felt at ease and was comfortable making light conversation while she was inputting my information. I will be back soon for the rest of my replacements!

Best repair shop I have ever gone to! My 2012 Hyundai Genesis went from a great running car to almost non functional due to Can-bus issues. While I am a DIYer I realized this was beyond my capabilities. Even the OBD II port wasnt working! I called essential auto care and they immediately told me to bring it over. Kelsey allowed me to talk to Vic the mechanic who would work on the car and explain what was going on which was quite impressive. It took a little while but Vic painstakingly went through each module checking to find the culprit until he located it. Kelsey kept me updated on the progress throughout.I couldnt be more pleased with the service! Other places I called tried to discourage me from fixing the car due to the effort needed to diagnose the problem and the age of the car but they took it head on and now I have my car functioning again. I Highly recommend them !!Forget the dealers, most have no interest in diagnosis but Essential auto care does!

The best place to take your money easily ! I go to check the car, (I have some knowledge for the Mecanic )they just tell me that I have ABS issue , and I have too many others issues like leaking water but they focus on ABS and I need to pay more then 400$ juste to make another step of investigation , wow so professional for taking our money for nothing and the best they tell me to leave the car for a few days ! Oh my God so Bad experience , and when I start asking the front desk , she bring the Mecanic and he keep giving me same information and I need to pass to the second step ( money ) just to check ABS ! No way to go back , you have a same bla bla to everybody s you know how to .

Brought my car for a hard to diagnose problem with the EVAP system. Kelsey kept me posted of what they were doing and what was found. They email you a video of the problem part. I would bring my car there for maintenance and repairs instead of the dealer.

I found Essential Auto Care earlier this year while doing a google search when I looking for a reliable auto mechanic to service my Jeep Cherokee as I was having a lot of issues with my vehicle. I took it to a few mechanics and they couldnt fix the issue on my vehicle. I must say Essential Auto, they were able to determine the issues with my vehicle. Did an overall health check with a detailed outline of what needed to be fixed. I just recently returned my Jeep to get some deferred services completed. My Jeep is running so efficient and I am so happy with the overall service and care that has been done on my vehicle. Kelsey, the service manager is so helpful and courteous. She explains in detail the issues and recommendations about what is wrong with the vehicle. Essential Auto will now be my forever service car repair center. Brought my car here for an inspection. I normally get nervous as a woman bringing my car to new mechanics cause sometimes I can tell they try to rip me off. Not this one! Kelsey and the team were communicative, thoughtful, and transparent the entire time. Ive had a number of issues with my vehicle and I have been through a few clown mechanics and cheats before I luckily stumbled upon this shop. Ive had engine work, brake work and cooling system work done here and they are always outstanding with absolutely no b.s. Dont bother going anywhere else. Seriously. Essential Auto Care is 100% in a league of their own and literally the ONLY shop I will go to or recommend in the area.

Came needing an oil Change and to make sure there was no issue with my engine. Kelsey was great and I was in and out. I will be returning for maintenance very soon. Great customer service.

This is my second time going to Essential Auto Care. First time was for my NYS Inspection which was done quickly and it was an easy wait with the nice lounge area while waiting. It s really an amazing place with friendly knowledgeable staff and everyone is so helpful. I have my vehicle there again for some work and will be giving a full review after I get my vehicle back. Essential auto care is not the average auto shop, they fixed my car when the dealership didnt even want to look at it and they did it confidently. Everyone here is always very friendly and informative you will know exactly what is wrong with your vehicle and what is required to fix it and they can explain things much better than most other shops. Not only will you get your car fixed but you will learn more about it in the process.

I could not be more impressed with this shop! The mechanics are absolute pros and they are thorough, honest and priced fairly. The woman working the front is kind and very professional, and its true, the waiting area is very comfortable. I had an issue with my brakes after another shop botched them and wouldnt own up- I wasted alot of time and money and was frustrated- I had never been to Essential auto care before but they have good reviews and were highly recommended so I figured Id check them out. Javi found the issue in less than an hour and in less than two hours fixed it perfectly and I was on my way. Not only that but they walked me through the issue entirely and explained it so I could understand. The waiting room had a few other longtime customers who also were raving about how good this shop is. I am so glad I found this place! From the reviews to the website, I had a good feeling already. The fact that I was able to book my appointment so conveniently was reassuring. When I got there, there wasn t a line of cars ahead of me or people walking around confused like I usually find at other shops. My slot, and therefore time, was respected. Someone immediately greeted me and took my car. The receptionist was very friendly and polite. I was checked in quickly, but not rushed, and was told to wait in their very comfortable waiting room, where they had coffee. I was told they would do an overall inspection of my car, as a complimentary service. Who does that? Wow factor for me surely. And then, when the bill came, it wasn t as much as I thought it would be for an oil change/lube, so great pricing! I did ask them to please top off my fluids as well, which I was told they did free of charge. I mean, they re just great! I loved that I didn t have to walk away with two large pieces of paper as a receipt that would be thrown and stored somewhere in my car uselessly. I was instead conveniently emailed and texted the receipt and link. Hands down the best place. Highly recommend to everyone!

Essential Auto Care is definitely the place to go. Remember those old crusty mechanic shops your parents used to go to? Well this one has those values and skills but is bright, clean, and comfy. I was able to sit in an air conditioned, well-lit room and get some work done while getting my car serviced. Jason was kind, funny, and knowledgeable. This is now my go to spot! Thank you!!

Found this place to be honest and fair. Price was good but I have to admit..kinda slow. I was in a hurry and was told that it would be done within the hour. Tire rotation and oil change took 2 hours. That being said, I will be going back .hopefully next time I won t be in a rush.

***update to responce to review***I just saw this comment that was left 4 months ago....and I dont have a company car from a fleet of cars I dont even have a car for this story to even be true. The only reason there was even a rating at all is because I was at the establishment with my bf came with his classic car to service it which didnt happen the way it was suppose too. Honestly I didnt even mean to give you guys a one star because I wasnt the owner of the vehicle and I didnt speak to any one directly. But seeing that a whole story was made up and just placed on me , I just might leave it. TLDR: The owner of the business left the wrong response to the wrong commentor when the 1 star rating was an accident.

Fantastic team of techs. Came in to get my car serviced and received quick and top-level work. They also helped me diagnose an issue I was having and were incredibly transparent with what my options were and how to best fix the issue.

These guys are my Go-To mechanics for all repairs, check-ups, and inspections on my Toyota Corolla. Im a TLC Uber driver, so I put a lot of city miles on my car. They have never failed to accurately diagnose and fix an issue, and they are always willing to explain whats needed and - more importantly - whats NOT needed. In other words, these guys are reliable, knowledgeable, transparent, and HONEST. Their rates are slightly higher than others, but youll end up saving money in the long run. Ask for Phil, hell make sure youre taken care of.

The whole experience was flawless. From the first phone call with prompt response, setting up an appointment only 2 days after I called, clear diagnosis with all costs given to me to be approved and very quick and easy repair to my vehicle. I really appreciate when a company does what they say they re going to do. Kelsey called me 2-3 times a day to review what was going on and answered all the questions I had. Since recently moving to the area, I was looking for a new mechanic to do some urgent work on my car. I checked google reviews for mechanics in the area, called around and Essential was the first mechanic with good reviews who had room to fix my car before the thanksgiving WE. I liked that they documented everything with pics, communicated required work and status diligently and got agreement before doing anything. They also took the age and value of my car into account, and understood that I only wanted the strictly necessary work done. I guess I found my new regular mechanic.

Great place to get your auto needs taken care of. So fast and reliable, you almost dont need an appointment. 1st time calling, they took my information, told me to come in, and was done within an hour. Better than most garages, and definitely better than the dealerships.

This spot was the only one available to get oil change the same day. Kelsey was very welcoming and professional. They made a check up. And I find prices very reasonable. Was great pleasure working with Essential auto care

My new car was due for an inspection and I was having a hard time figuring out where to bring it until I came across Essential. I am so happy this was the location I chose. Everyone that I encountered was extremely nice and professional. Kelsey at the front desk was a sweetheart and very efficient. I was given updates while my car was being inspected and any issue was explained to me in full detail. I will definitely be back for any future services needed. Definitely recommended!

The staff is really really friendly and professional and the site gives u a cozy living room to wait in with sofas, coffee, and wifi everything seems nice. 1st time service was fast and well, 2nd time my confirmed appointment couldnt be accommodated on their end so I went there for nothing, she said come back 1st thing in the morning to get out quick so I did and it took all day. No joke. 930 to 430 I hung around there. I had made my payment the previous day I couldnt be serviced and ended up paying double for things they found after (including after passing inspection). I think their prices are really high. Changing an old side mirror nothing fancy no signals in there or anything, $500! So - my advice, call before going even if ur appointment was confirmed by text. And ask about discounts they might reduce the amount they quote.

I went there to get wheel alignment and tires balanced and they showed me issues my car has and gave me a free quote detailing what problems they see and how much would to fix. They are very nice and welcoming and did an excellent servicing. Definitely my go to place from now on.

Very professional and top-of-the-line service

The lady who waited on me was amazing, very professional . However the mechanic who performed inspection on my car recommended to replace the air filter which was very pricey around $130 and also recommended to change the rear shocks because they re leaking , I didn t approve of the service , and I got up with my dealership and checked my rear shocks which they confirmed that it s working perfectly fine, and that is not a leak , actually that s the proper way it should be functioning . I m glad I didn t approve the service otherwise I would be paying lots of money for no reason. I would like to make some correction regarding the shocks , I was advised to replace them because of the leak , the good news was that I didn t have to pay for anything since I have a good warranty on my car that covers all labor and parts , I feel bad about my previous review , actually the mechanic was right about the diagnosis but I still wouldn t do the job there since I can do it for free at my dealership . Great repair shop. They took their time to look over my car and let me know what needed to be fixed. I like that they took photos of everything so I could see for myself what was wrong. The front desk was able to clearly explain to me what the mechanic found and walked me through all the photos and notes. It is a little pricey but they have a great guarantee on repairs and the quality of the work is worth it. From start to finish the staff were nice, and easy to work with. My car was done in 2 days and the shop called me during that time to give updates as they came in. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend Essential Auto.

Excellent work and great service.

I was visiting friends in the area and lucky me hit a huge pothole which blew my tire. I found Essential auto and gave them a call Kelsey was very prompt and helpful. After I put on my spare tire I drove over to Essential. Walking in I was greeted by Kelsey, she took my information and was very friendly and understanding that I am not from the area and will help me with my tire repair as soon as possible. My friend picked me up and we had lunch. Kelsey called me with a price on a new tire and she also told me they would check the wheel alignment since I hit a pothole. I told her if it needed the wheel alignment to go ahead and take care of it. I got a call around 3 hours later that my car has all been taken care of. I was greeted by Adam when I walked in and we had a nice convo about where Im from (Philly) and he also pointed out a couple things that I should have my mechanic at home address in the future. The place was nice and clean and modern, truly a bunch of pros!
