Safelite AutoGlass in Queensbury

Tech was terrific. Safelite is not a good company. They cancelled my appointment then acting like I didn t have one until I proved it. No one would talk to me or apology.

Windshield replacement only took one hour with all calibrations completed. Staff was professional and friendly.

we used them for our company vehicle the technician was patient, friendly and very professional.

My Toyota was recalibrated up front. Didnt take long and it has been great since.

Ima have to wait 3 weeks for a replacement

It took a week to get an appointment. The tech was polite and timely. However, large amounts of glass remain in the door panel creating ridiculous noise of glass as I drive and/or lift the hatchback. I am awaiting a warranty service call and another week of waiting. Ill update next week. It turns out that this is a common problem. I believe they tried the best they could. A follow up visit did not help but I accept that it is no fault of Safelite.

Very quick & efficient, other than leaving his wrench on the top of my engine called the next day about looking for it. Found, but after I d driven several times, so thankfully it didn t move around in the engine or clunk onto the road!!

They took the windshield out without checking if it was the right one back in June 2024 and said they will order the right one. They would schedule an appointment and not call to let me know the the windshield hasnt came in. I would call 2 hours before my appointment as its 1.5hr drive to them. Only to find out the windshield isnt in, this happened multiple times. The last appointment in August i couldnt get through so I drove over an hour down for my appointment got there early and waited. It wasnt till my appointment time they come ar to tell me my glass is still not in. It is now December I cant use certain features in my truck due to the wrong windshield. Now charged my insurance company over $1200 for a repair never done and tell my insurance company they repaired it in November which is false. Avoid this place asit will become a headache.

Having to pay totally out of pocket, Safelite was the least expensive and their service and communication was excellent in getting the windshield replaced. Highly recommended and will definitely use them for any future glass needs

I was very pleased with the results and service i received this past weekend. Plus he was quick and even arrived sooner so that was plus too. I would recommend them.

It took them 8 times coming out to my house with the wrong windshield to get the correct one. After many cancellations without even a phone call and rescheduled appointments the resulted with someone coming with the wrong part. The absolute worst experience with a company I have had in 25 years of doing business. Very unsatisfactory customer service.

I am so satisfied by the service. I was interested in learning and he walked me thru the whole thing. Didn t act like I was annoyed by watching him. He actually got the year old slim Jim I could never get out of my dash board communication was perfect (plus the guy was hot af is ) Thank you!!! Will recommend to everyone

Great service and they really stand by their warrantee. My windshield wiper rain sensor stopped working after glass was replaced. Due to life and schedule it took me almost a year to get there to have it looked at. They had to replace the windshield again to realign the sensor holder. All that work was done with no issues. And very nice people too!

I had an excellent experience at safelight. The staff was very professional and friendly.

Trying to get my windshield replaced and cannot get through to a live person on the phone to answer a question so have. Very frustrating and so am not impressed.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! A cracked windshield is never fun, but this branch of Safelite made things simple. I booked online, trying for the quickest appointment possible, not realizing the Drop and Go option means you shouldnt expect your windshield fixed till 5 pm. And I arrived at 8 am. The woman at the desk was awesome, and managed to find a way to get my windshield fixed without spending all day in the waiting area. The technicians in and out were also very friendly and accommodating. Great job, and clearly a team effort!

Honestly the tech seemed clueless. Put my wiper arms on backwards both wipers out of time. Tech left my wipers on so when I started my car up not thinking he d leave the wipers on the wipers scratched the windshield. Honestly bad

Updated review, original below. After finally getting my new windshield in and it not being broken, the installation when seamless! The service was fast and the replacement seems to be of high quality! It s been about a week since the replacement and there have been no issues. Very happy with the service! Original review I noticed a chip in my windshield on Father s Day. So, I scheduled a repair. Turns out it s an old repair they can t fix again. Needs a new windshield. Okay, no problem. I get set up with an appt for 7 days out. I get a call 2 days before saying the new windshield was damaged. Have to order another one. The day of my appointment I get another phone call. This windshield is scuffed. Have to order another one again. Good news, you ll be all set Friday July 10th. Get another phone call this morning saying the windshield wasn t received from their warehouse and now they have to order it directly from a vendor. Now it s been re-scheduled yet again. And this time it s out to July 26th. Since the chip was noticed, it turned into a crack and has grown and spiderwebbed. Still responsible for my deductible on top of it all! How is it so hard to ship a damn window and not damage it?

Quick and great worked performed replacing my windshield. Techs ate very polite and knowledgeable.

Had a nasty crack in our windshield set up an appointment to have someone come to our house to replace the windshield. Dave showed up about 20 mins earlier which was fantastic due to a storm coming was afraid it wouldnt be able to get done. Dave was kind, courteous, very professional, spoke to my husband the entire time and didnt miss a beat while replacing our windshield. As my husband says Dave deserves a raise. He was very fast and professional.

Vehicle was dirty after they got done with it. Also, vin # plate had sealant left on it and now not legible.

Scheduled to have windshield replaced today. No call no show. I called them end of day and rescheduled for Monday yet got 2 emails stating rescheduled Friday on one. Monday on the other. Will update with rating when job done.

Great place to have windshield replaced. My insurance company and Safelite both performed above a 5 star rating. Employees were also very helpful.

Joke had windshield replacement done on my 04 Silverado they installed the glass and broke it took my money and set me up a appointment for 3 weeks later but the best part is when they removed my old glass the scratch my dash in cracked it there comment was well it happens

Thank You to the 2 techs that replaced my windshield. They arrived early (rain predicted) and were done in the nick of time. Robert showed my companion and I, a trouble spot to watch for that might cause us issues in the future. They were friendly and courteous. Im pleased with the service they performed. Will recommend the company to anyone who needs their glass replaced.

Very accommodating and friendly associates, we dropped the SUV off a day before the snow storm so that we could make the appointment. It was fixed within the timeline promised and they were very nice to allow us to pick it up two days later due to work schedules. Couldnt ask for anything better!!

The quality and speed of the windshield replacement was tremendous. The condition in which the interior of the vehicle was left was horrendous. Poor professionalism.

If I could give 0 stars I would, but unfortunately that s not an option. If you need glass fixed on your car go literally ANYWHERE else but here. This place does anything and everything besides replacing glass apparently. I ve had a missing window on my car for over a month because my appointment was cancelled 3 times. They love letting you know it s cancelled the day of instead of letting you know in advance. The first time it was cancelled because they had not received the window, the second time because they received the incorrect window. Apparently the window was not properly checked before being sent to them from their warehouse so the incompetence runs far and wide. That time they told me they d call me when my window came in to the shop and sure enough I had to walk into the establishment and schedule my own follow up appointment because they weren t planning on calling me back. That third appointment was also cancelled. No courtesy of considering peoples time, no follow ups, no consistency, I literally have no idea what they actually do in this place. Hell will freeze over before these people actually do the job they advertise they perform. Don t go here unless you want to have your glass stay the way it is and run around in circles trying to figure out why it s SO difficult for a glass replacement place to actually replace glass.

They fixed my windshield by replacing it fast

The service from start to finish was on point. I booked my appointment to have my windshield replaced online. It was so easy, and within moments, I not only had an appointment, but the insurance company approved the service. Safelite took my car immediately. The waiting room had coffee, water, and a TV. Initially, they informed me that the replacement could take 3 hours. The job was done in 1.5 hours. Plus, they recalibrated the reverse camera. I definitely recommend Safelite.

This is my second time dealing with Safelite in Queensbury and they are amazing here. Extremely communicative and accommodating. James has been excellent throughout both repairs and I couldnt have asked for a better experience.
