Called AAA four times when I got stranded at 10pm on a Wednesday in August. Was told H & N wasn't answering, even though I pay for the highest tier of AAA. Called a competitor, paid out of pocket, and was towed out of there in 15 minutes. H & N called back NINE hours later. Don't say you're 24 hours if you aren't. It's that simple.
Triple A used my local H & N Towing (Red Hook, NY) to jump start my car yesterday afternoon. Sam Scott arrived ahead of schedule with his warm, polite, and helpful demeanor and did way more than just jump start my car. I was prepared to buy a new battery but Scott acted in my interest by testing and "fixing" my existing battery to renew its life, saving me up to $200 and winning my trust with his honesty and my admiration with his know-how. Sam made H & N Towing look really good as a company and I'm so grateful to have benefitted from his intelligence, goodwill, wonderful presence, and kindness.
JT showed up quickly, towed me to my spot and was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be using H&N as my tow service going forward!
My car had an engine malfunction and H&N came to tow the car to the dealer. Sam was very courteous and professional when he called to let me know he was on the way and also when he arrived to my workplace to pick up my car. Highly H&N recommend to anyone needing assistance. Thank you, Sam!
Excellent service. After waiting for over two hours only to find out that my roadside assistance connection had never accepted my pick up, H&N showed up within 15 minutes. Great guy (Joe, I believe his name was) and super friendly. A+
They were great. They gave me a time and they were there when they said they would be. They made sure when they loaded the car that they were careful with the part that had been damaged and were even able to give me some insight as to what was damaged with the car. Even though it was raining, the driver helped me fill out paperwork to make sure that I could get a reimbursement even though it wasn't something that he needed to do. Can't recommend them enough! Thank you for making a bad day better.
Excellent service. They were prompt, professional, curteous and kind. I had called another place first who made excuses and then never got back to me. It's stressful to need your car towed. I then called H and N who were accurate off the bat over the phone about the time they would be here (within 10 minutes) and the price it would cost (within 2 dollars). Exactly what the doctor ordered. Best towing place around. Choose them and ask for Jim.

I have been using H&N Towing since I was a newly licensed driver. Over the years I have used Jim and his team for a number for things. I am a harley davidson enthusiast and Jim at H&N is the only one I will let touch my beloved bikes, no matter how far they need to go. Also, Using AAA, they have performed a number for lock out services (Jim holds the world record on every make and model, to gain entry) No, Not really but it seems that way. Professional, prompt and pretty much the best guy youll every meet. If you need anything towed or you have a newly licensed driver may I suggest Jimmy at H&N towing and get that kid a AAA membership

I would give them NO stars if possible I called two times asking for help after being on the side of the road in the dark in an area Im not farmilar with for over two hours. I even stated Id pay to tow the car if they wouldnt come to jump it and they just passed me off to AAA. I called AAA three times and kept getting sent to a machine that would ask for a membership number even if though I told the girl picking up the phone that I dont have a membership. This was the worst service of my life and I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone
This is an excellent towing service! My husband and I got stuck on an icy hill in a rental car and H&N came to our rescue quickly and performed a difficult tow with precision and confidence. It was even significantly cheaper than the quote over the phone because chains were not needed. Would recommend this service highly.
