The last two times I was a bit worried about the staff, thank god the girl that works the floor has been there for years, and its still there. She keeps thing held together! Con: No tire rotations for 3500 series trucks anymore due to lift and floor issues. Inconvenience for me, loss of business for you!

I recently went to the East Greenbush Jiffy lube. Everyone was very courteous and it was done quickly. But, they failed to catch the oil from the filter, leaving a large amount of oil in the frame. The next day I went to get in the truck , there was oil on my new concrete floor. Enough to make me think something was not tight I had to check everything to see the oil in the frame. It happened a second day That s enough for me to not revisit . I m planning on painting the floor in the spring, now I ll have more work cleaning

I received the apology below but it was pretty empty. A few days after this post I had to go back to finish the inspection, I fixed the emergency break and I was denied again because now they wanted all new pads and rotors on the truck. I asked why they didnt tell me that last time I was here. Guy made some comment and I said well i dont understand those are new pads and tbe rotors were like that last year when they inspected it. He shouts at me and says who inspected it? I said Jiffy Lube and got nasty with me in front of customers well not with my license youre not....so I replace all of the rotors and pads take it back, explain to the next technician Im here again to finish my inspection, and what I did, and this one was a lot nicer. When I am on my way to the waiting area, however, I hear another tech in the pit shout What the F** is that smell?...the first technician tells him to relax its the smell of new breaks...truck gets inspected. Fast forward to November 9th, I replaced my upper intermediate steering shaft, had to have a separate mechanic do it since I couldnt get it off. He puts the truck on the lift, notices it dripping oil....reaches up the oil filter is loose, so he tightens it...and it was 3.5 quarts low at that point, could have blown my engine. Call jiffy Lube, left a message for the manager to call me back, never heard from them. ****** Wont be back for awhile.... brought truck down for oil change, inspection, and tire rotation, was told it was a 2 hour wait but I had to get the work done. I set time aside for it, it had to be done, so i waited. They couldnt do inspection because parking breaks have to be tightened, they could tighten them but Id have to make a separate appointment....they couldnt do my tire rotation because my tires were too big for the lift, even though Ive had them rotated every other oil change, at this same location, for the past few years. You know theyd try to talk you into it 99% of every other time you go but apparently today just wasnt one of those days. So after all of that I got an oil change and now I have to go somewhere else anyway....complete waste of time. Its fine, like insurance companies youve got to rotate between Jiffe Lube, Mavis, and Pep Boys every few years because they randomly stop wanting to work unless they can make $80 on a 2 minute windshield wiper change. 3 or 4 people standing around telling jokes while 1 or 2 are working, its maddening and frustrating, and I certainly dont like being lied to....theyve rotated those tires plenty of times, they just didnt want to...their lift apparently shrank from climate change or something.

I needed an inspection and every other place required an appointment. I pulled in and was taken right in. My inspection and oil change was completed in a timely manner. Staff was friendly and helpful.

They try to sell you everything under the sun and then when you say no they get upset! They never vacuum your vehicle, windshield washer fluid is never filled up! After my oil change I left there and my tires felt like they needed air when I got home there was only 27 pounds in each of them and they were supposed to inflate up to 35 but yeah on my paper it said okay everything was checked off but none of that was ever completed and I believe its because I showed them a coupon for $19.99 and they werent able to sell me any of their services!

I HIGHLY recommend JIFFY LUBE . FAST, EFFICIENT and FRIENDLY service. There is not a better place to get an oil change. They do OTHER work too. Check them out! Tell them Jim Tobin sent you .....

I m not sure if they needed coffee or what and I m not even sure my oil got changed I had the old sticker on, writing left on my window, my dashboard not cleared for service done & I sat 45 minutes even after they were done wit my car ..

Service was okay. Never received my free car wash second time this year. Now they said they text it to me but never received the text. Talk to manager and they couldnt do nothing about it

Edit: Had to edit my review as I unfortunately had a very negative experience here last visit which was very disappointing. Off the bat I was overcharged for an oil change, and then upsold on a bunch of unnecessary services that were ridiculously expensive. When I noted how expensive it was the employee made up a new price off the top of his head. I know employees at these chains are given commission as I ve dealt with this so many times but I thought this place was different which is why I ve been going here. Directly after I left, I turned on my AC and my entire car started shaking violently and making a very loud sound. I drive back and a young guy came out to help me. I explained the situation and he said, yeah we don t fix AC s we only do oil changes and stuff like that. After going back and forth for a while I got someone else to come over. He took off my glove box compartment and started scooping out all sorts of debris from the inside of my car, and then again tried to sell me the expensive service I refused earlier, which was literally just taking a filter with a bunch of leaves and debris and shaking it off lol. I m honestly convinced they did this on purpose. He placed the filter back in the car covered with leaves and sticks etc. Next day I realized they never even reset the oil change sensor on the dash. Just sloppy work and I felt very distrustful of the entire experience. I liked these guys originally because they seemed honest but this last experience just felt like any other sketchy chain. Not sure I ll go back. These guys were great! I came in for an inspection renewal late on a Friday. Very nice people and quick service even with a full waiting room. They didn t try to upsell me on anything which I always very much appreciate.

Busy place indeed and fair service but they get mad when you advise them you do not want the extra features like air filter or wipers I also have a concern on my receipt of $5.99 misc / uninventory items . Like what? Sounds like a fishy way to skim more $$$ from consumers ..think I m done with this place ever since they broke away from hoffmans

I m went in for an inspection. They were crowded and busy but they were still friendly and I was out in an hour

Had to wait for two hours to get my inspection done.

I ve been to this location before so I came back to get an oil change. They told me it would be an hour wait. I m assuming the 2 cars ahead of me needed extra work. So I went in to sit in the lobby. While I was in there I could hear the staff yelling at each other about oil for an oil change. I didn t feel comfortable having them do my oil change so I left and had an amazing experience down the street at Valvoline.

Stopped in for an inspection. Placing the wheel back on they used an air gun to start the lug nuts, stripped 2 of them. If I didn t see them do it they would have let me drive away. After 2 1/2 hours they replaced the lugs while I watched. The lugs don t match the originals. I ll have to replace them myself, I just wanted to get out of there. Never start lug nuts with an air gun, always by hand, basic mechanics.

These people have no idea what theyre doing. I went in for an oil change transmission fluid change and inspection. The mechanic told me he could not change the fluid on my vehicle because the engine had to be dropped out of the vehicle to do it and theyre also was no dipstick to check the levels. A simple YouTube video shows exactly how to do it and where everything is. Very disappointed and no longer trust these people to work on my vehicle. Not to mention there was one mechanic working all four days by himself. Also took me one and a half hours to get out of that place and I was there 15 minutes before they opened and the first one in line

Cane in for a ny state inspection, I waited for about 45 minutes total time,this was a busy day but staff were very friendly and efficient.

When I got home from my service, I noticed Staff tried to force open a locked glovebox and damaged the latch in the process. Very irritated by this.

Disorganized but good customer service. They do a good job. Very long wait, but its due to being disorganized.

2 hours and 14 mins for simple oil change. Waiting room ac was out doe to the dirty filters so that was pleasant in the 93 degree heat. Watched 9 cars pull in after me and left before me. Then never put sticker in my window either. Place went to h@ll

They were great and did my inspection in the time that they said they would for the most part. But I was pretty frustrated they claimed my window wipers needed to be replaced and thats the only ones they had that would fit were $40 apiece. The wipers were working order and were less than a year old on the car. Seems like a conflict of interest that they inspect your vehicle and then sell you the parts at an inflated price. I had no option other than to pay for the wipers otherwise it wouldve failed inspection and I wouldve had to come back. The same wipers at Walmart are 20 bucks.

I went to this location today to get my inspection done for my car. Even though they were busy I didn t mind waiting but what I did mind was one of the workers there. All of them were nice and professional. They even gave me a free oil change!! But there was one worker there that was very unprofessional. I was in the waiting room reading on my phone then, unprovoked, he was banging on the glass from where he was standing in the shop, once get my attention he then proceeded to tell me to smile then asked me why I wasn t happy!? Mind you I was just on my phone before this happened and I had no interaction with him before this. Then when I was leaving he told me not to take anyone out . I felt very dehumanized. So I am writing this review to warn women specifically about this guy.

Would not recommend! Left from an inspection and my tire went flat. Looks like they don t do floor checks, because I had a nice valve stem pulled out of the tire. Slow service and the waiting room is filthy.

Not very long before they were able to bring the truck in. The employees were absolutely wonderful. And quick as a whip they were done. Inspection and oil change.

I first went to them a year ago and they were kind enough to help we with something and didn t charge me so I went back today for my oil change and have the brakes inspected and they again were friendly and professional did a great job and gave me an honest take on the condition of my brakes by letting me know they are still good for a few more months. I also really appreciated Will going over everything with me but not putting g any pressure in me to do things I can t afford right now. So I will make them a regular stop for oil changes from now on

Tried to tell my S.O., who was there for just an oil change and mentioned the light intermittently flashing, that the cabin air filter being dirty and something else were the cause of the intermittent oil lamp. Attempted to deceive a young woman, by herself, who lacks knowledge of vehicle maintenance, into paying 5 times the cost of the oil change visit. Deceptive and fraudulent business practices. Jiffy Lube has been caught doing this before.

They are a great place to go as long as they arent too busy. Prices are getting a little high, but they still have great service and I have never had any issues like bad work.

I had come to this jiffy lube for an inspection and oil change. I was in and out fairly quickly but thats the ONLY good part. Upon paying I was not given a coupon for a free car wash and was told they dont do that at this location, even though they gave one to me and my wife a month prior when we got her oil changed, but whatever. The next day I was driving home and my oil pressure light comes on, so I pull over and check my oil. There was no oil in my engine!!!! I had to walk to the closest gas station to buy enough oil to get it to a mechanic. After I was able to get it to a mechanic and have it looked at I had found the issue. The oil leak was because jiffy lube did not tighten the drain plug so all my oil leaked out and could have sized my engine up!!!! I will never go to this facility again, and most likely all of jiffy lube if they allow such boneheaded mechanics to work there.

I ve been going to Jiffy Lube for years. The prices have gotten completely out of hand. $137 for an oil change? Unfortunately the quality of work has deteriorated. The only thing that my wife requested was that they check our tire pressure as a warning light was illuminated. The counter person said they had checked the pressure and that it was likely a faulty sensor. We brought the car to Stewart s to fill the tires and the pressures in the rear tires were 23 and 24 lbs. Amazingly the light went off after putting air in the tires. Free car wash is of no use to us as my wife and I already pay for Hoffman Unlimited plan. What other services did they say that they did that they didn t???

I went in need of an oil change and a radiator flush. My car is old so I called to make sure they had the oil filter in stock, they answered promptly and confirmed it was. The price was on the higher end for the coolant flush, but was in and out in 30 minutes. Overall great experience.

They worked quickly and efficiently on a very busy Saturday morning. I was the fifth customer in for the day and out in under an hour for an oil change and tire rotation.

Over two hours waiting for an inspection and three people that came after me left before me. Normally this location is friendly and quick, first come first served . I understand it s the end of the month but when clients are told an hour wait but then there s *zero* urgency to get anyone out, over two hours later it made me think about going elsewhere for services in the future.

Had my wifes car NYS inspection performed on 11/29. Seemed efficient. Done in about 15 to 20 minutes from arrival. Paid, left and No One reviewed that it Failed due to P/S sway bar broken! Would Highly recommend AGAINST having any other work done there

I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube for over 20 years! I purchased a brand new vehicle with 0 miles. I only visit this location for oil changes. My check engine light came on because they failed to put antifreeze in my car but all of paperwork states yes they checked it! When I called and spoke to Manager Chris, he didnt care nor did he offer to remedy the situation. He could of at least told me to bring my vehicle to add fluid but NO....He was rude on the phone and said, Well, Thanks for letting me know. This egregious error could have had a great impact on my vehicle as well as financially. They are supposed to notify customers what is needed even if there is a fee! CHECK YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS LOCATION! I will add that I spoke to the Owner, who was very understanding, empathetic, and he helped remedy the situation. Im reluctant to return to this location but I will think about it since speaking to the Owner!

I went there with my wife s car which I thoroughly inspected beforehand. I work as a mechanic was once a certified nys inspector. I know my way around a vehicle. I was watching through their window and I see my oil / antifreeze and other fluids checked. Then my air filter came out and was thrown on the windshield. He then went for the glovebox for the cabin filter. That s when I went out and asked what he was doing. He said a nys inspection I said the filters aren t part of an inspection. To which he responded they re part of a nys jiffy lube inspection. If I wanted just a nys inspection i should have said so. I didn t see a sign or know that was an option since that s what I asked for to begin with. I said just put them back and finish the inspection. He then came back into the break area and called me out to the shop and said it failed for passenger wiper being torn. They re 2 mos old! I said please show me. He went over to the car struggled a bit then came back with my wiper which mysteriously was torn less than 1/4 on one end. I said you got me and a few other choice words, knowing I was being ripped off. I said put it on as I d been almost an hr already. He then told me he wasn t going to charge me for the cheap wiper he put on. Sitting there waiting I saw person after person getting called to the back and they all needed the same filters/ wipers. Coincidence I guess.

Save yourself time, money and frustration and go some place else. Bottom line the dealer is less expensive and you are at least dealing with a person that has some knowledge of a motor vehicle. 135.00 for an oil change on a 4 cylinder vehicle. Yes, it was full synthetic but still . No prices listed anywhere in the store. I don t mind paying for quality, if it s quality. This place is ridiculous! Had my oil changed leave, the next morning I come out and my driveway is covered in oil. I called, they said bring it back. They told me my car was not leaking oil it was leaking transmission fluid. I m so glad I m not stupid. I took photos before I left the house. The manager was insistent that it wasn t leaking and kept saying it was from the transmission. I pointed out to him the transmission is on the opposite side of the vehicle and there was nothing leaking from that side of the car. He didn t give up until I showed him the photos of the leak before they had the opportunity to tighten up the plug and the filter. If they had just taken responsibility instead of trying to create a distraction they would have been much better off. I will never go back and will make it my mission to educate as many people as possible of the lack of knowledge and quality workmanship this business offers their customers. BTW my car stopped leaking, Strange .

The desk lady told me my wait would be around 45 minutes. 2.5 hours later they came out to discuss my options. 1/2 hour later my car was done. Not a happy experience. I found the filters to be overpriced as well as the oil options. Besides that I m satisfied. I checked my oil and they had indeed changed it. Just be honest about wait times so we can make appropriate choices that align with our schedules.

I wish there was a raiting lower than 1 star for this place. Showed up for oil change and transmission service. They pulled my truck in played with it for 20 minutes then came in to ask what I was there for. Fine, bad communication, but what have you been doing to it so far? There was an estimate, and confirmation email. Tried to lie to me saying there wasnt and that I mustve done it too long ago. It had been less than an hour at that point. I let this go. Another few minutes with my vehicle they tell me they dont have an oil filter. But its already drained and I watched them put the filter in the trash and cut the o-ring. Not like I have a choice but to wait on a delivery of filters. At this point I think, fine do the trans service while we wait. But no cant do that I was told theres a special tool and well, we cant charge the regular price, you have to pay the $400 price plus the cost of the tool. At this point I am now getting irritated. There is no special tool Ive done the service myself before and just wanted to avoid laying in snow. The special tools they referred to was a pump to fill it back up again because the fill plug is low on the side of the transmission. Only thing I can say is if you dont want the work, dont open your doors in the morning.

I had purchased a Groupon certificate for an oil change and when I presented it I was told they would not accept it. I had to pay full price for the oil change in addition to the $55 I had paid for the certificate. I reported this to Groupon in an attempt to get a refund.

My girlfriend went there 6month ago for an oil change. Had to go back the next day to get our air filter and cabin filter. Nice to take it out and not put it back in. She just went a week ago had oil done again. This time they were to lazy to reset the service light. Probably because our valve stem now leaks sense they put air in tires. Thanks for costing us 137.65 for a new valve stem. Because of sensor to monitor tire pressure. Never again will I go here. Could be the only place for hundreds of miles and I will never go back there even if was free
