Crooks! They play you like a fiddle. They break your car and then make an offer to buy it. It s a family cult! Dad, mom and sons acting like manager, desk & mechanic. If you don t dance along for their play, they scream at you, break your car in a way you can never fix it and screw nail in your tire, rack up the charges, all in a way that you cannot afford to fix it and then they force you to sell it to them. Once they take your car, they fix it ( they know exactly wrong because they broke it) and resell it in front of their shop for a killer price. Scammers !! I think all their good reviews are written by themselves or their insiders. Take your car to some where big so they don t have a personal interest ( eye) on your car and make moves to rob you. I would give them zero star, but one is the lowest here.

We recently started bringing our cars to DiLorenzo s after our longtime mechanic retired. They ve been excellent and do very good work. They always take the time to explain everything that needs to be done and the prices are very fair. I highly recommend them for both routine maintenance and specialty repairs.

This is the first time I took my car to this place . The team is so knowledgeable and explained patiently and showed the pictures of the parts. Educated , and fixed the thermostat and engine light issues. I strongly recommend all of my friends to repair their automotive vehicles at this place . When I took my Vehicle to dealer they didnt diagnosed the vehicle properly about the issue and recommended to change some major parts of my vehicle Infinity JX35 engine which again quoted more than 6k including labor . FYI I already spent last year with dealer around 4k and problem not resolved . Thank you DiLorenzos for fixing the vehicle .

All my neighbors said they re the best but I had not been there until now. I had a transmission issue come up with my Tacoma that needed immediate attention. I went right to DiLorenzo s for the first time. They had me back on the road the next day. They provided a service that you just don t see anymore. Modern technology with old school service.

These guys are the real deal. Small, old school shop that knows what they are doing and care for your car like it was theirs. I generally work on my own vehicles, but DiLorenzos is at the top of my list for when I cant do it myself or dont have time to.

Dont let the high review rating fool you. I went there for a repair estimation on the brakes. They charged me about $70. When I ask why they charged me for estimation only, they yelled at me. I understand I may need to pay for the estimation at certain places. But the yelling was unacceptable. They are just rude people.

So I heard about these guys through another mechanic. That was honest and said that they didnt work on older cars and when I asked him if he knew anybody, he considers reliable and honest, this is where he told me to go and said Charlie was the man for the job. They wasted no time getting my car diagnosed and fixed after it was at 3 different shops. Three different times and nobody was able to fix the car right. The day of my appointment he called me a half hour after they opened and said not only did he figure out what the problem was he found another one that would have presented a problem down the road. Safety wise and fixed it....... Very gr8ful

5 Stars for DiLorenzos. Charlie and team spent a lot of time with my 78 Bronco installing custom exhaust. It turns out that finding headers to fit this model is difficult [I checked many chat groups], they were patient and tried many types until a fit was found. The Headers and exhaust look great. Also got a replaced carb and nice tune up which has the Bronco running great. Exhaust sound great and even has power now for a 78!

My interaction was with Charlie. Took my truck to his shop with what turned out to be a blown head gasket. Charlie said the head gasket couldnt be fixed and that I needed a new motor. Based on a friends referral , I assumed Charlie was honest and went with his opinion. I left the truck with him giving him a two month window to complete the approximately $11,000.00 job. After several weeks of no update, I contacted Charlie for an update, he said the original motor was delayed. I asked him to call a few other motor vendors as I needed the job complete within the agreed upon time frame. He called me a few days later with the new motor replacement options now ranging from $12,000.00 to $22,000.00. I told him to stand down on any further work on my vehicle as I might just scrap the vehicle do to the new repair estimate. Charlie quickly offered to buy my truck, I declined. Charlie told me there would be a small charge do to a parts restocking fee. My sister went to pick up the truck, Charlie charged her over $400.00 to release the vehicle. Apparently Charlie said he replaced my Water Pump without Ever mentioning anything about that to me. Not to mention why would someone change a Water Pump in a vehicle that was getting a new motor. Additionally, the Water Pump was recently changed by another local honest mechanic. The vehicle was picked up and taken to the dealership where the Head Gaskets were replaced. The vehicle runs great. I will let the reader decide if your interested in taking your vehicles to Charlie for repairs.

Very thankful for Joey and the rest of the team at DiLorenzo s. An incident took place, which resulted in my vehicle needing a lot of work. Joey was awesome! Super kind, upfront, and extremely patient throughout the entire process. Genuine mechanics are hard to come by, but everyone here was open, honest, and extremely helpful. Joey kept me informed from start to finish and replaced/fixed the issues very quickly. He also gave me much needed advice for future car purchases. I will continue to visit DiLorenzo s for all my future car needs. Grateful for these guys, highly recommend!

Amazing place. Charlie (and everyone there) always explains what is being done to the car specifically with easy to understand terms as well as being open to answering any concerns or questions with details. Will tell you if something is worth fixing on your vehicle or not. When they say they did something to the car, it got done. You will not be going back to them with the same problem, if that makes sense. Very friendly environment and worth it. Will be taking all of my cars there and recommend them to everyone.

I cannot say enough about the customer service and attention I recieved at Dilorenzo s. I have recently returned to the area and scheduled a routine oil change. Unfortunately I needed some extensive tire and axle repair work. Given the concern with continuing to drive the car, they offered to do the work the next day. They kept me informed on what was going on and explained the process every step of the way. HIGHLY recommend, and will definitely be back!

I have a 2010 Mazda Miata and brought in for an oil change and asked to go over car. It needed tires and rear brakes. I left it up to Charlie to choose which tires would the best for my little 6 speed, and he did a great job. Also he gave me a price for rear brakes and stuck to the price with no surprises except for the extra little things they did without any charges. Great group of professional and just great guys he has working for him. Such a delight to work with them, and Delorenzos are my new mechanics to take care of my two cars.

The sweetest father and son duo Who are responses, know cars and are more than fair with their pricing and work. I brought my car in and they saved me from potentially getting into an accident with the previous work I had done through someone else. Afterwords something came loose I reached out to them not sure of the issue but knew something was wrong and they took me right in drove it with me and fixed it. Sometimes as a woman mechanics will dismiss my concerns but I never once felt that at this place of business and I appreciate that they truly cared and were so respectful.

If my car needs any repairs, oil changes or anyting, I will be taking it to DiLorenzos. Clifton Park Toyota told me that I needed almost $700 worth of repairs so I took it to DiLorenzos for a second opinion. They were very professional and thorough. Two different people took my car out three separate times to try and hear what the Toyota dealership was talking about but could hear nothing. They took the time to explain everything to me, which I appreciated. Bottom line: I needed two new tires and nothing needed to be repaired.

I have been going to the shop for years they do all maintenance and repair on my family and my friends vehicles, I have referred so many people to them because they are honest and look out for their customers, prices right on for jobs. After having a terrible experience with my last mechanic I tried out Charlie s shop and years later I won t go anywhere else. A great bunch guys.

DiLorenzos did a good job getting my wifes car back on the road after it was making horrible noises coming from the brakes. Joe explained everything thoroughly to me, and showed me the damaged rotors and pads when I picked it up so I could see what was going on. Theyve done that for other repairs too, where you can actually see the bad parts. It gives you more confidence youre at a reputable place and theyre doing the work theyre charging you for, not that I doubted it. Theyre definitely my new go-to shop since Ive moved to the area.

This is a great ace to get work done. I had install an aftermarket exhaust and he didnt at a very fair price. When there was a problem with the part I supplied they handled everything for me. Calling the vendor, getting the right exhaust and shipping the wrong one back. Great shop that I will definitely use in them again.

I bought a Borla Cat back exhaust for my 2017 RAM 1500. I did not have the proper tools or time right now to install the exhaust. I called around to a few place for estimates most were extremely high for a simple install. I decided to call DiLorenzos and they got me in quick, the price was good, and the quality was excellent. If I have any issues with either of my vehicles DiLorenzos has gained a new customer. Thank you gentlemen for the excellent service.

Best service anywhere! I recently had car trouble while visiting my sick mother from Boston. I showed up at shop without an appointment. Charlie and Joe quickly diagnosed the problem (broken water pump) and paid for my Uber to the hospital so I could visit with my mother while they fixed my car. I was on the road home by late afternoon. I wish I could give DiLorenzos six stars!

In these times its hard to find quality from genuine pride in what one does. I have been to many mechanics and I can count on one hand how many of them I trust. I left my truck with them for repair and not only did they communicate with me through the process, but it was also completed in a timely matter. On arrival to pick up my truck I was greeted like family, it seemed as if all the mechanics in the shop had given my vehicle a once over to ensure all important issues were addressed. I remember the mechanic who worked on my truck (Joe) as I told him Id be back and would recommend the shop highly. I may not recall the other names in the shop but I wont forget how they made me feel, like a caring family. If you need automotive work done DiLorenzos is worth the time.

Excellent service. Recently I was working on trouble shooting my 2005 Ford Explorer fuel sending unit. I was struggling to make progress. I brought the truck in on a Saturday (unannounced) and Marcus and the team were able to look at it late Monday and finish on Tuesday. They were very helpful and very fair.

I have an older classic sports car that needed an inspection. It passed inspection with no problem. Charlie advised me of some issues that could use some attention in the future. I asked if they could give me an estimate on the repairs that needed to be fixed. The estimated price was very reasonable. There was no pressure to have the work done. I opted to have the repairs completed. Charlie took the time and spent hours on the phone/online trying to find the correct parts for my vehicle. This was my first time going to this repair shop. Everyone at the shop is very knowledgeable & helpful. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would highly recommend DiLorenzos to anyone.

He saved my butt from buying a bad car! I arranged a pre purchase inspection and found out the car was burning oil, had 3 major codes cleared from history and rotors were in dire need of change. Im very glad I went with DiLorenzo. If I need future work Ill be coming back. They did a real good job explaining everything to us. Very accommodating. Extremely thankful. I have a fleet of vans, trucks. Charlie, Marcus & Joe always get me right in and take care of my needs and give me an honest assessment of what work needs to be done. They keep a log of whats been done, and what may need to be done in the future. You dont feel like youre at a fancy dealership that hides their mechanics from you. You actually talk to the person thats working on your vehicle.

This the worst place Ive ever had to deal with. I had just moved up here when my power steering pump went on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. In a pinch, I went to the closest shop that could take me in that day. So I went to DiLorenzos......big mistake! It started out fine. It should have been an easy job, which it initially was. They put the new pump in and charged me 2 hours of labor and parts. I take it home and I notice that there is a leak. Its losing a good amount of fluid at this point, so I take it back and drop it off. While Im gone, I get a phone call and they tell me that my high pressure hose needs to be replaced. I tell them to fix it and they charged me another hour of labor. I take it home and guess what......its still leaking. So Im pretty upset at this point. I feel that the $200 that I just gave them was a complete waste, which it was. I show back up after a 10 hour shift and have to deal with the older fellow, I think Charlie, swearing at me because I was upset about being taken advantage of. He even threatened not to fix it if I didnt stop having an attitude. So I bit my tounge and took it back for a 3rd time for a simple job like a power steering pump. I even brought his whole crew coffees as a good gesture. They replaced my high pressure hose, which was already new. Good news is, they didnt charge for that. Thing is, they charged me an hour to change it the first time and it took him about 10 minutes to change it the second time. So I took it home and guess what.....ITS STILL LEAKING!!!! I dealt with it for a month until I moved into my house, and wrote those guys off for good. I was losing about a quart of fluid every 2 weeks, and theres probably only a quart in the whole system. Once I move in, I bought a new pump and replaced it in my driveway in a half an hour. Guess what.....no more leaks. The reservoir must have been leaking on the first pump. Which I kind of suspected because the cap never fit on the new pump. These are just refurbished pumps so the reservoir must have not been the right one for that pump. Shout out to Napa Auto for giving me my money back for the second pump I bought. They also let me borrow the tool to swap the pulley from the pump to pump. So to recap, I gave DiLorenzos over $600 to fix a $150 pump. They charged me 3 hours of labor, which I was able to accomplish in 30 minutes. And I had to go there 3 times, go to Napa 3 times, buy 3 quart of power steering fluid and leave 300 oil spots all over the place. I hate DiLorenzos!!!!!!

I moved up to Rexford from Pennsylvania in 2012 and I asked a coworker, who was a lifelong resident of Clifton Park, if they could recommend any mechanics in the area. They referred me to DiLorenzos and I couldnt be happier. As someone who at one time owned an auto parts store, Ive dealt with a lot of mechanics. DiLorenzos is among the most professional, fair and capable service centers Ive come across. They do excellent work and offer great customer service. As long as Im in this area, I wont use any other mechanic.

DiLorenzo has been servicing our cars for years now. They are prompt, fair and do a great job. We have had major work done on one of our cars in the past month and they did a good job. They are always ready to talk about the work and show you the replaced parts so you understand what needed to be done. This has been very helpful when teaching our teenagers about car maintenance. We were fortunate to find DiLorenzos Auto after several negative experiences with auto service centers in the area. Charlie and his staff are honest about service that is actually required and they have NEVER tried to up-charge or take advantage of us by suggesting unnecessary repairs. We have serviced all of our vehicles at DiLorenzos for many years. In addition, we have utilized their U-Haul rental services - again Charlie and his son go out of their way to accommodate. This is a family owned and operated business we are lucky to have close to home. We trust DiLorenzos and know that whether it is my wife or me interacting with the DiLorenzos we are getting reliable, quality service.

These guys are Great!!! I was introduced to them by a friend after I got a ridiculous quote from Firestone. I brought my car to them and they showed me exactly what needed to be done and that Firestone was trying to rip me off with repairs that I didnt need. They saved me a bunch of money and are great to talk to.

I have taken our cars to DiLorenzos many times, and have always been treated well. They never charge or push for service that isnt required, and Ive never had a problem they couldnt diagnose or handle. They try to carefully remove, clean and reinstall parts that still have usable life instead of replacing everything wholesale. Its nice to have someone you can trust working on your car.
