As I was traveling they worked me in for a windshield washer repair and flat repair so I was able to get back on the road.

Paid 10 dollars to see What noise was happening on my car a shaking noise they told me caliper and brakes so they worked on it and said shaking would stop 1000 dollars later nope still the same took back now they saying its the suspension so why couldnt they had told me that in the first place after I paid and been worked on and car still same no change after being worked on

Have been using their services for several years now. Bought lifetime alignment from them and I am happy with it. Mostly they do tire related work for me - alignment, tire installation and balancing, valve replacement. They also did some suspension work for me like replacing inner tie rod. During the last visit I also asked them to check the source of the noise and they accurately pinpointed that it was coming from the bearing. Noise is gone after repair. My service advisor at that time was Tony. Wouldnt hesitate to use their services again.

I had a bulb that needed replacement and after stopping at a couple other places who were unable to help I pulled into Firestone. Bobby Pollak, service mgr, was patient and accommodating and was happy to help me! The repair was done quickly. I will be looking to Firestone for my future automotive needs.

Went in for a tire rotation and CVI. Bobby was really kind and took care of me right away. Whole thing went smooth and fast. Highly recommend.

Fast affordable and friendly service

Got an oil change done a few month ago and forgot to leave a review... Anyways, it got done in around an hour so thats good. Kinda pricey imo but thats what I expected for the area (though, it was pretty average pricing for round lake). The man at the front wasnt very friendly though. I asked him if they can check my oil and coolant for leaks (doesnt need fixed -just want it looked at so I can eventually fix it) because I kept going through alot of it. Well, he gave me a short snappy answer and said If I wanted all that checked I should have scheduled for earlier in the day not 6pm. Also mechanic left marks ALL over my car. Not THAT bothered by it because I wore dark clothes and my car older and not spick but it was all over the seat and door and he could have put something down on the seat atleast.

45+ minute wait time for just a tire check. Left early since I had work.

The alignment was great. But, be careful with the computer car advice. It said my car needed an oil change even though it was just done a week ago.

Because the customer service is very courteous and friendly.They go out of their way to help you. I have been going to a firestone for years now, and theyve never disappointed me. I have told everyone about the great service they provide. They are definitely my go to for all of my automotive repairs.

I had a flat tire and I went to Firestone for a new one. I have a 2004 Honda Pilot and they did not try to oversell their services. They listened to me and did the service I needed, pointed out other needs but did not push too hard to get those done at this time. I will go back to them to get the other services done soon!

I drop off my car for service, when Im about to pickup my car I noticed a huge dent. I should have called the police for police report, my mistake. Now they refuse to take care of the damage. This company is not trustworthy.

Rob was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I liked that he immediately informed me of coupons without me having to dig for them or ask about them.

They broke my bottom door light plastic cover. They kept the broken peice to replace it. I showed up 2 times and still no peice.

We use Firestone for almost all of our oil changes. They are always accommodating when they can be and courteous and efficient. This time I called same day to see if they could get my trucks oil change done between 9am that day and 12pm the next day. Brad stated he would do what he could to get it to me same day instead and he delivered on his word and I had my truck back that evening.

Our vehicle had a tire change and alignment done very quickly and finished when promised. The employees were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This was our second time using this location and we will definitely return and recommend to friends.

My moms Toyota needed a bit of work. I was very impressed with the service, professionalism and attention to detail, at the Round Lake Firestone. Chris and Omi at the service desk communicated with me multiple times during the day to make sure everything our vehicle needed was addressed. I was able to use my coupons when it was time to pay my bill. The car is running smooth and Im grateful for the team at RL Firestone

Friendly and carful to keep me informed of what was being done and cost. Finished when promised. The only complaint I had was they did not check fluid level for the windshield solution. The car was in for a fuel pump replacement and an oil change.

These guys should be ashamed of themselves for trying to rip off my wife. We had them quote a radiator replacement for our Jeep, and they wanted just shy of 2k to do the work. I looked up the cost of a radiator from the dealer and it was 471.00 and firestone tried to charge us almost 950 for the radiator. They also said it was listed as an 8 hour job. I got multiple quotes from other local shops and they ranged from 760 to 950 and all quoted it as a 4 hour job. Thankfully, I knew that firestone was way off and we had Professional auto repair do the job for 700 out the door. As much as we used to think this place was honest and reliable, the numbers speak for themselves. I cant thank Dean from Professional enough and it looks like we found our new service provider moving forward. I hope this review will help others from getting ripped off by these clowns

I am a long time customer for over 10 years and the Business has been a pretty reliable place for oil changes and general maintenance . I noticed that one specific employee likes to completely floor the gas of each car he drives from the parking lot into the shed. Pretty unprofessional and dangerous imo. Not going to send a complaint but I do wish Firestone can respond to this review to address the issue and maybe I will increase my rating. Perhaps the only issue I have, the work the business does is great but I would like my car to be treated properly in the process.

This team was great to work with. Recently had knock in rear of car that they were able to fix. Dan at front desk kept me informed of their findings and cost and asked us to test drive with mechanic to make sure we were satisfied with result. We were. Will definitely return for future issues.

Give helpful advise onto which tire to choose, and perfect for the vehicle that needs them. We got new tires for my sisters car and they were cheap and they work well

I ve spent A LOT of money at Firestone over the years for my car and my wife s car. NEVER AGAIN!!! I got stranded 2 weeks ago, my alternator went out. Got it towed to Firestone in Round Lake Beach. They changed my alternator, battery (which was only 18 months old, but they insisted it needed to be changed), and said they had to re-charge my A/C because that is part of the process of changing out the alternator, My total bill came out to $1400 (which I thought was steep, but I chose to take the car there, so that s on me). So, a couple days later, my dashboard started going haywire again, battery light on and some other lights, just like when I got stranded in the first place, so I immediately drove back to Firestone, and advised that I believe I got a bad alternator put in a few days earlier. I left the car there and the next day I was told there was nothing wrong with the car, which I found extremely bizarre. I started driving to work the next morning and low and behold, the lights came back on my dashboard yet again. Mind you I drive 36 miles each way to work every day, 72 miles round trip, so I need my vehicle fixed properly when I spent $1400! So, I had my local mechanic in Mundelein look at the vehicle, and sure enough, BAD ALTERNATOR! I paid them to fix it CORRECTLY, and I asked if they needed to charge the A/C when doing so, and sure enough, got ripped off for $300 on that by Firestone (they charged me 1 hour labor + Freon), it did NOT need to be recharged when the alternator was replaced, what a joke!!! I ve given Firestone the benefit of the doubt many times, when others have warned me, so shame on me indeed!!! $1400 down the toilet. I have contacted corporate and I m waiting for them to get back to me. I m not paying the bill on my Firestone Card, and I m closing it out. One final note, one of my tires needed a new valve stem installed as well, as the tire pressure would not read out for that tire, so Firestone charged me like $129 to change it, and take a wild guess, less than 2 weeks later, it won t read out again. Took it to a place in Libertyville today to get fixed properly, took less than 10 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE. RIDICULOUS. Do not bring your car here!!!!!!!!!!!

Quality service and professional staff. Needed 4 new tires and an alignment, and was in a bit of a rush/panic. They explained everything to me clearly and got me fixed up quickly. Shout-out to Dan the service manager for being an exceptional dude.

I called three times over the span of an hour and a half. On the last call, I waited 33 minutes before someone picked up and hung up right away. Family and I have been customers here for years, not anymore. Place fell off

I brought my vehicle here for an alignment and I bought brand new tires and wheels for them to balance, mount and install. The first day, they told me it would be ready by EOD. So 10 minutes before they close , right before coming on my way to pick up my vehicle they call me saying that they wont be able to finish it that day because they need to order tire beads since my tires were too large. Why couldn t they have told me this earlier in the day, as soon as they knew? Not sure Next morning, I called and make sure they are aware I have the wheels in the back seat of my truck, and confirm everything is good to go for pickup later that day. They say yes. Then again EOD I go to pick it up and see that they put the new tires on my old wheels, not the new wheels in the back seat. They did end up apologizing and giving me a discount for this and they say they would have it fixed before they close. But all night they never called me to let me know if it was ready or not. Next morning I call them and ask whats going on. They say, oh your truck s been ready. Okay, well you never called me to let me know? I go pick it up, and on my first highway trip the truck starts vibrating 60+ mph and turning itself to the right side. Today I d taken it to a professional alignment shop. They say this vehicle should have never left the shop like this, all they did for the wheel alignment was adjust the toe of the tires (called a toe and go and left the rest of the job cause they were most likley lazy) Canter and Camber were way off, and would have caused premature wear on my tires if I kept driving it how it was. All they did was pack the tires with a bunch of beads which caused dangerous shaking, and they charged me for something they was not even completed (wheel alignment). Only thing at this point that would satisfy this experience is to refund me. Litterally paid for something that wasnt even completed.

My wife ordered Firestone Weathergrips for her car. They installed Bridgestone Weatherpeaks. Well, I dont know how that happened was their only response. She told them she wasnt paying until they either put the correct tires on her car, or only charged her for the Firestones. They charged her for the Firestone price, about $100 less. Judging by the other reviews here, it is clear this facility tries to take advantage of women. While they rectified the situation, verify your receipt and that they installed the correct tires before paying.

WARNING Deceitful Prices and they will try to get you or stiff you in the best convenience scenario. I have a lifetime Warranty in my alignment, after checking out, they charge me the listed price, they couldnt find me in their system. After an intense search, NOPE they can not see me in their system. They want me to pay, I said NO!. Luckily my wife is very good filing all records. And surprise, I got the paperwork and the certificate of life time warranty. They play around with the computer key board and mouse. Absolutely unsuccessful price gouging me!!!

Thank you Dan for all your help and really looking out for me and my family. He has never over-estimated, pushed for additional services or tried to rob us. Not sure of others who work here but Dan is the real deal. (and yes the phone ring like crazy and they are always busy when I am waiting for service)

I had a bit of a miscommunication there significantly on my part but the management was helpful and professional in solving it. Its a trustworthy place.

The only place that can turn a 20 minute oil change into an hour and a half service. Tried this place 3 times. Overpriced and a waste of time!

Had an appointment at noon for a wait in Inspection. Picking the car up at 8pm. No calls all day I had to come to the shop. They had closed and locked the doors by 7:45 even though the hours say open till 8pm. Asked for same day service. They estimated about an hour and half for the job so I got a ride home and left it. Didnt know leaving it would cause the job to take almost 7 hours for just a complete inspection. Im highly unsatisfied, wont be coming back or recommending anyone to come here. I will be recommending they stay far away.

I recently had my low tire inflation sensor illuminated. This was the first day of the really cold snap so I needed to get this attended to right away. The very nice man Ruben helped me, got my car looked at, and didnt even charge me! Great service, great folks: highly recommended.

Ruben (Service Technician) - Thank you so much for the Car Care Package inspection done for my 2014 Honda CR-V EX L. The report is very detailed shows the fluid levels (i.e. Break fluids, transmission, Engine), brake condition (i.e. Brake rotor/pads condition), tire life etc... and the pressure drop in the tires got fixed by replacing the valve stems. The team here in Firestone Round Lake cares for the well being of the customer. Appreciate all their efforts in fixing the issues.

Ruben went above and beyond to take care of a bad situation. After an unfortunate railroad crossing I was stuck needing new tires that nobody had. Ruben ordered a set directly from Bridgestone to make sure Id have them as quickly as possible. As a long time customer with FCAC and specifically this store, I could not be happier with the service I got from Ruben and his team. Casey did clean job of getting me out in the time promised. Even with the store being very busy my appointment was held to the letter and everyone made sure I left happy. Keep up the good work in Round Lake Beach Store!

I am changing this rating to 5 stars. I m pretty sure they have a new manager and he gets it! My experience yesterday was amazing. One of the employees I talked to last week messed up he acknowledged it apologized, and did things to make it better. Exactly what good customer service looks like. I came in for the $9.99 complete vehicle inspection. Joe was wonderful. I did have some major repair issues. These days you need to know the prices. I kinda freaked out about the cost. Joe found manufacturers coupons and I qualified for the 6mo. NO INTEREST, Firestone card. I went for it. Thank You, Joe & Firestone in Round Lake Beach!! I feel so much safer driving around.

These people dont know what they are doing. They replaces a brand new spark plugs that was changed 2 days prior. Did not fix my problem and told me only dealer can fix it, so why charge customer if you cant fix it? Big scam. Dont trust this shop. Will never bring my car here again. I dont recommend this shop.

I made an appointment to take my car in a week in advance to get my belts replaced. The appointment was at 10 AM and I figured it wouldn t take that long so I waited at a coffee shop next door. After 3 hours and I peaked around the corner and they hadn t even looked at my car yet. I called and asked if they knew when my car would be ready and all they said was nope. I called again an hour later and they said they still hadn t even looked at it and when I asked them why they even accepted my appointment if it was going to take this long they said they had until 5 PM to look at my car regardless if I made an appointment or not. Had a friend pick me up and they finally called around 4:30 PM and said they swapped the belts out. Charged me an insane amount for labor and didn t apologize at all. Got my car back and there was dirt on my seats and center counsel. Will NEVER be going back and I recommend you don t either.

They fixed my issue that my car was making by putting in new axle. But probably will be going somewhere else next time since they are pricey.

Absolutely love everything about the Firestone Round Lake Beach location! The outside lot is always very clean, the lobby inside is always exceptionally clean. This makes for an immediate great impression! I am always greeted with a very happy hello when I walk in. Dan is highly familiar with my vehicle and the work that has been done on it at this location, its a great feeling of security knowing my car will have the best service possible. Dan explains everything to me in detail and answers every question I have regarding what work needs to be done (you dont find many people these days that actually care about their customers like Dan does!) Dan offered me the opportunity to apply for the Firestone credit card, and I was approved right away! This helped me tremendously, as I was able to afford to get everything fixed that needed to be done. I will always continue coming to the Round Lake Beach location, I refer all my family and friends to also use this location... not only for the excellent job the mechanics do, but also for the caring and exceptional service that Dan provides... not just to me, but to many other customers that I see come in while waiting in the lobby as well!

I came in looking for tires. it was a busy day with a lot of staff working. Brad Dennis Gio and Dan were wonderful. in and out quickly with very good tire prices!

My grandma was looking for some tires to make her feel safer on road, ended up browsing here. this was a challenge because tires are pricey nowadays, but that being said, your car advisers know how to handle business by greeting her with competitor tires are competitive price. Thanks to them, my grandmother can now take her vacation safely and securely!

I was in and out for an oil change in about 30-40 minutes. Adams team is the best within Fireston Service Centers. Round lake center asked me to wait or come back to pick up for 2-3 hours for an oil change..... I needed tires last year (2021), Adam ordered my new tires, went back to get the new ones installed and in about an hour I was out of there with shinny new tires. Thank you again guys. Total loss .taking our car here. We took it in for an oil change and inspection and came out with an un drivable car. I wish I would of read reviews before taking our car here. Very unprofessional, dishonest and do not care for customers needs. Now I have a car that doesn t work!

I waited 5 hours to fine out they couldnt fix the car and they have to order the parts the bill would be 2,000 dollars

Took the car here to get an oil change and have them check a few other things. Get told by Firestone that the brakes and transmission fluid are good. Check the trans fluid when we get home and its empty. Take the squealing brakes to the dealership and are told they need to be replaced. Wont be taking our car here again.

Be careful on the oil changes with tire rotation. Mine went from $85 five months ago to $115 today and that was supposedly with $15 off. Absolutely a joke. I ve never seen a $30 increase on an oil change, the Toyota dealership was cheaper.

When you bring your car to alignment, they tell you that you have a 12-month warranty, and they do not validate it.

This rating is long overdue. We had a serious issue with our brake lines on a Saturday afternoon a month ago. That weekend Firestone was super busy with booked appts. They did look it over but no time to work on it. I was able to get it back on Sunday late afternoon. I have always been pleased with their work. And I am glad they were up front with me regarding the lead time (Thanks Nina) I will continue to bring my vehicle here. Thank you Firestone!!!

First time using this location. Had to get more expensive tires than I wanted because he said they couldn t order others. Got the car back and was being charged an alignment even tho car wasn t aligned. Lady at the counter was super friendly and removed that charge. Driving home noticed my steering wheel is now tilted while car driving perfectly straight. Will probably bring this back to my old location even though it s a lot farther for me now

Very helpful and told me what needed to be fixed and what could wait. Even gave me tips on how to save money.

Have been here several times for everything from routine maintenance to check engine lights and they always do good work. Also bought my last 2 sets of tires for 2 different cars I have and couldnt have been better. Plus the guys are cool, I trust them with my cars.

Dan was very helpful, taking me in at 6pm to help me out with my car. Attempted to fix my issues without charging me, but they didnt have the adapter needed, so they fixed the tire as though it were flat. Very fast & helpful staff!

Seeing this place in this particular community is totally an inconsequential image as a person could get lost in all the businesses that are local to this particular shop. However, I can honestly say that what lies beyond its entrance and bay doors are a group of gentleman and a lady whom really make you feel as if youre dealing with decent human beings! The practices that this Round Lake Firestone employs are transparent, efficient and so personable that you forget that you are at a repair shop! To mention, they can not only get you an oil change or brake job in no time but this team has the knowledge to do major repairs to the extent that one would only expect from a custom or dealer-mechanic shop! I had a persisting issue with one of my vehicles which was diagnosed, dissected and pointed out after a very involved diagnosis by the guys at Firestone! This was majoritvely orchestrated by this young superstar; whom should be commended and awarded for his personability, honor and humility! The gentlemens name is Dan! As business owners ourselves, we were so impressed with the way that he juggled so many different problems which arose while all the time, managing the other customers along with their complaints and praises! Every repair shop is full of an array of these at any point in time; however, the commitment to customer satisfaction which he displayed during our last visit (have had many repairs and servicing done by this Firestone) was truly the best and most honorable experience that weve ever had in a repair shop! His head guy there and the mechanic team are extremely good also and the specific mechanic whom did our repair is like a dictionary of knowledge and abilities that should be commended HIGHLYYYY as well (sadly, I cannot remember his name). These guys did whatever it took and we truly, TRULY have a lasting impression of positivity and genuine endearment for this group! Firestone should be proud to have such an amazing team here at this Round Lake site! Never experienced this type of service at any other Firestone either! (Note: The manager at one of the Milwaukee Firestones is an awesome honorable guy also!) When i walked into Firestone to get a brand new tire for driver side front to be place from my spear tire that i had on my car when arriving. So i looked online & found Firestone in Round Lake Beach area route 83 & Rollins rd. But i found your employees strange they were looking around & kept opening up my doors on each side. Also someone called their and told the white guy with gray beard something and then it started feeling real funny business. Wow

I switched over to Firestone from the Toyota dealership when I found out the reasonable prices that Firestone has. The staff here is honest, accommodating, and friendly. I ve been coming to this specific store for years now and have yet to have a bad experience. I ll continue to bring my current car and future cars for as long as I m in the area!

I have been going to this location for several years now. Recently, I am still going through a process of getting dispute over a mess up that was done to my Raptor there. Over $3,000 that was worth in supposedly repairs that made my vehicle worse than before. I kept calling and speaking to staff there that its crazy that I have been coming here for so long and to make me pay that much for repairs. I got to the point where I went to a different place and was told that my truck was inaccurate in repairs. (This is a dealership I went to). I keep getting told by this location to bring in the truck for more repairs but comes out even worse. To the point where my car wasnt functioning anymore and Firestone knew this issue was happening that they had tow truck bring it over to this location which bothered me because they charged me more and more and nothing is being done. When it came down to me wanting to exchange it for a different truck after telling me repairs were done, the dealership devalued it and diagnosed it with it needing major repairs.

The people here are always friendly and tell you straight how things are. Once in a while you will get someone who tries to upsell you, but its rare. Reasonable prices, ALWAYS quality work. My only warning for you is MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! Even if you have an appointment, you will likely end up waiting a while, but these guys have gotten so busy that you need to make appointments even for an oil change.

I m giving this location a 1 star for lying about there deals. I was told for 160 extra, I would get free alignments, mount and balance for the life time of the car. So I got it because it s a great deal. 1 year later, they told me that the 160 is just for wheel repair and alignments; not mount and balance. I would recommend you people to record the conversation when getting offered the deal.

This is only my second experience and today I came in for my appointment at 5 and I let the man at the desk to finish his paperwork but then the phone rang and he put them on hold and u would think he would take care of me who is in front of him right? Nope picked up the phone and I waited another 5 minutes to discuss tire prices with the person on the phone ! Customer SERVICE is everything people!

We were told certain work needed to be done that didnt need to be done.

Got robbed from this place, I went in for a full coolant flush because I had the original factory coolant which is clearly pink/orange and mixed in Prestone green universal coolant by mistake into the radiator. I asked for the Dexcool coolant after they flushed out the system, I pick up my car to find that it has the same exact coolant I left it there with. They claim they used a universal coolant and the whole car has the same coolant in it and i believed them. 2 weeks later I find that the reservoir that had the green universal coolant had turned back into the original orange/pink coolant, needless to say I went back to ask how is this possible if they flushed the entire system. They give me a BS answer saying that the neon green coolant was changed to orange because the orange was a dominant color! .. I now have to do the work that they were too lazy to do. I will even record me doing the procedure for more evidence .. my final say is avoid these scammers and take your work to more trustworthy mechanics.

Great Service! Fixed right the first time, along with being honest about the wait time. My service team took great care of me and the car, I needed a ride from a local venu; they provided the transportation and returned me to the Firestone location. Went above and beyond. I am forever grateful!

Eric Pasquale, Service Manager was extremely helpful with my repair. I was extremely impressed by his can do attitude and going out of his way to accommodate customer needs and making sure that customer is satisfied with the repairs. Ive been going to this store for past 12 years for all my automotive maintenance and repairs needs for my 3 cars and always found the the whole team at this Firestone location extremely helpful & cooperative! Not sure why it took 2.5 hrs to put new tires on my car even tho I had an appointment, that was a little ridiculous. It sat in the bay (with the hood open which seemed strange to me cause they were literally only supposed to be putting tires on, but whatever) for an hour before it even went up on the lift, then sat up on the lift for another hour before they finally got around to putting the tires on, an installation that took about 15 mins once they got started. But eventually it was done and done correctly so points for that I guess?

$59.10 for a reg Oil Change and a Engine Air Filter.

Went for an oil change. Guess the tech couldnt be bothered for 10 seconds to reset my maintenance light and they said my battery was reading low and priced a new one for $238 with labor. Went to another shop and turns out battery is great and dont need one anytime soon. Be careful with what they try to recommend to you.

This place was great we walked in last minute and they took us in with out appointment on Sunday and were able to finish the job at the end of the day thank you for fixing my tires and the oil change my vehicle runs like new

I had a alternator belt break and went here for repair, and im eating the firestine chain good even though the belt came off a week later, because I brought car ti another firestone, and the put another one on. They honor thier warantee

I went in for a front end alignment and two matching front tires. I was informed I had to change a left wheel bearing and the tie rods at a considerable additional cost. I would caution anyone intending to have work performed on their vehicle at this facility to get a second opinion. I did and needed only the front end alignment, no expensive extras. The tires were overpriced compared to my second oponion.

I was told it would take 1 hour, we are already 1 hour and 45 minutes, and they are sooo slow! Not sure about the quality of the work, but slow and lots of attitude from the service advisor when you question....not recommended! Now they are saying another 30 minutes! Dont use them!

If theyre not working on your car, theyre trying to sell you something. Dont trust what they tell you when it comes to whats wrong with your car. The only thing theyre good for is labor on things that youve identified somewhere else.

I took my jeep for an alignment and I had a scheduled an appointment for.They took it back without issue.Well after 30 minutes they proceeded to come and let me know a bunch of tie rod ends were bad.I work in autoparts so I wasnt going to pay the up charge on parts.I told them Ill get the lifetime alignment and replace the parts later on my own accord.I just told them to get the alignment as close as possible just for peace of mind.They said sure no issue.Took it back for another 15 minutes then finally they said they couldnt do an alignment on my vehicle because the clamps wouldnt work on my rims.So you mean after an hour and pitching a sale to me you couldnt even do the alignment?.Sounds to me like they were upset they couldnt make a ton of money off of me.Thanks for nothing.For sure will be reporting this to the better business bureau.Sad how you get treated these days.
