Scam alert! Don t no buy tires here or from any Mavis. Bought a full set with extended warranty, consistent with rotations, they tell me my alignment is off and that s why the tires are so worn they never mentioned a problem before but now it s not covered because it s mechanical. Then turns out they wrote the wrong mileage down when I bought them and wouldn t honor the extended warranty. It was like 90k miles off and a clear mistake that the manager admitted to but since couldn t honor it because it was a legal document . Did me a HUGE FAVOR and gave me half off a new set of tires that should have been covered. Well- I just went in because the front two were totally worn after 2k miles. And again .apparently alignment issues. Even though I went and had them aligned immediately after getting them out on. Even with alignment issues tires should be completely worn after 2k miles. Regional manager offered me $30 off. Incredibly unprofessional place while through their teeth. I wouldn t send my worst enemy to these people. They put on garbage tires and then tell you your at fault when they wear out almost immediately

My fiancé came home from a stressful day at work to find two flat tires on our personal vehicle (he drives a company work van when he s on the clock). He said he was worried about how expensive it would be to fix, and how much later he d have to be out and about. The guys at Mavis had him all fixed up and back home in no time! Better yet, he said the repairs were more affordable than he expected. Ask for Jay and Owen! They made his night, and that made MY night.

Brought my sons car in because tire kept losing air. Got the car in quick and found a screw lodged in tire with the head of it off so couldnt see it. In and out in less than 45 minutes. Thank you!!!

Horrible and nightmare experience. Mavis sold me the wrong parts and installed them incorrectly. I kept getting a run around with mechanic shortage and with their inventory system not ordering the right parts. It took 5+ days and they couldnt even finish a simple repair which was my CV axles to be replaced on a common vehicle. They made my vehicle a lot worse than its arrival there. I paid the bill assuming it was a successful repair and my transmission fluid was leaking on my way home and thats because they didnt put the correct seal on. I drove it back there and it took them another 2+ days to get another seal because they originally had the wrong seal on and now second time backwards according to Daves Transmission who fixed it correctly. Mavis covered that repair because their mechanics couldnt do the job correctly. I suffered loss of time because of their negligence, carelessness and incompetence. I called their corporate and did not call back till 3+ weeks later. These people do not want to accept accountability at all. This is no way to treat a customer and their vehicle. Support your local mechanic shops like Daves Transmission who have experience, are knowledgeable, and stay away from these greedy corporate places like Mavis. I will NEVER go back there again! This location is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau so buyers be warned. This is unacceptable and would be ZERO STARS if there was an option. I will most likely take legal action and take them to small claims court.

Mavis tire s got it. I was able to speak to one of their mechanics Inorder to work out options on how to fix my issue and jay at the counter was able to set up the order and push the car through the line and I was in and out before I even realized what had happened. The price was wonderful and surely doesn t break the bank. For sure a repeat customer!

Scheduled an appointment on Black Friday not knowing if they would have any openings or would be able to fix my flat tire. Not only was the service exceptional, best of all employees have a sense of humor and definitely had the holiday spirit. I am a repeat Mavis cyst I would highly recommend them.

I took my daughters car in to have a tire looked at as it wasnt holding pressure. The service team was able to get me in within 30 minutes and was able to repair the tire quickly. They also checked out the other tires and made sure all were at the proper pressure levels. Very pleasant experience and definitely recommend this store.

Had a tire with a screw in it. I called and came in on Sunday morning around 9:15. Jay, the manager, got us in immediately. The mechanics/technicians repaired the tire ASAP. Approx. 30 minutes later we were ready to go. One of the mechanics, Zach, explained what was done. Everyone was friendly and professional. I rarely give an outstanding review, but this store definitely deserves one. 5 out of 5!

Called ahead to do an oil change, making an appointment was very easy. TJ the manager was more than enough helpful getting me the right oil and oil filter for my vehicle. Very great customer service and time, would recommend this location to friends and family.

2 stars since the tech Daniel is very polite and friendly when I pull up for free tire checks. He was the reason I went in to get a quote for new tires and they just lost an almost $1K sale due to them refusing to give me a printed tire estimate for me to submit to my church for payment Went straight across the street and had what I needed from Firestone within 30 seconds. I ll stick with them

My car had a tire leak, and I needed it fixed pretty quickly. Jay, and his technician at Mavis Tire Supply came through! There was also a nail in my tire. They were quick, friendly, and got us back on the road in no time. I really appreciated their help, especially on a weekend. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but being an ex mechanic of 28 years. When you changed somebodys tire and put a new one on car,You go the extra effort and put the spare back in the trunk where it should be. My spare tire was just thrown into the trunk. And not put back under the Mat where it should be. I even gave the mechanic a tip for doing a good job, only to realize when I get home. That the job was not completed to 100% satisfaction.

I was met by one of their workers named Jay. He was very sweet and accommodating to my needs. He seen I was struggling and offered me the opportunity to come back to have my tire looked at. For little to no cost. When I came back I was welcomed with warms smiles waiting to help me. Everyone was so well mannered. So unfortunately i had a screw on my tire and i called sunday morning and Jay answered the phone and wow he was so friendly and professional the way he explained things to me on what service i needed and took my vehicle no appointment needed !! The people working at the front desk say unnecessary things. One guy said, Im showing off for simply writing my name in cursive. He was like, not a lot of people can do that I did not particularly like that comment. I told him, I have no reason to show off I was also told my car is just a baby with the miles it has on it. NO Its not ! It has 165000 miles and a lot of cars do not even make it to 200,000 miles. They were better off shutting up with their pointless conversations. I personally found them very odd things to say. Sometimes, it is better not to talk if what you have to say is not the brightes. They also put the spare tire on my back seat which is leather

We found we had a nail in our tire. Called a few places and they told me to just drop off the tire. When I called Mavis they said we can take care of you in an hour. Got there, repairs were made in 30 mins, and the staff were rock stars. I would have given them 10 s if I could!!!

I have been doing my oil changes here for the last 3 years all I can say is theyre exceptional in what they do, came in with a tire that has been leaking air they explained to me in detail why my car needed new tires, which I believe cause Ive been traveling to other state 3 times a year for the past 4 years 12 hours drive, after using those tires for 4 years, Im glad they took their time to check all my tires. Educated and customer service its the best.

Came without an appointment and they had my tire changed within the hour. Service is very efficient and thorough. I was unaware I was missing a lug nut on one of my tires and Mike replaced it and informed me. Fritz and Mike had extremely good customer service. Would definitely recommend taking your car here.

Mavis Tires & Brakes in Round Lake IL gave us exceptional service ! We needed a battery replaced in our 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. Not only did the battery get replaced, but they filled up my power steering fluid for just the cost of the fluid AND retrieved a screwdriver that I had dropped when I was trying to fill the power steering a few months back. In addition to that, my rear blinker light was out and they replaced it . I thought Mavis just handled Brakes & Tires, Boy was I wrong! Thank you for everything!

Bought my tires here last year and came in for a rotation. They let me know I had a leak in one of my tires and fixed it for me. Overall a very painless process. Add in the great customer service and the extended weekend hours, and you get a place that s a pleasure to do business with.

Torqued lug nuts way too tight, spent 20 seconds a lug with an impact rated for 500lbft. The socket was hot to the touch after. If someone was using a tire iron they would have surely broken the lugs off.

The technicians were courteous and provided excellent service in replacing my tire.

David and I think Fitz was his name were very helpful and communicated throughout the whole process. I got my brakes, rotors, oil change, tire, alignment, spark plugs and a bunch more done here for my Audi and they did a fantastic job and for a very great price. They literally helped me save a couple thousand on my repairs and I appreciate them and will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing your car serviced. I always get my tires from Mavis so this was my go to for my tire emergency today. Never been to the round lake location but David at Mavis is amazing! He went above and beyond to help me out with my tire. I came in stressing about having a razor blade in my tire a stupid blade, I was worried I would need a new tire. He told me my options on tires and then went to work seeing if it could be fixed instead. To my luck it was fixable. He was also very patient with my nosey 5 year old. I will forever and always recommend this location. Thank you so much for helping!!

Had breaks done here a month or so ago. Way better service than the dealership that let my son drive off without tightening the bolts all the way. Because of that service, I brought back the car because of a slow leak. They were able to squeeze me instead of waiting several hours like I had originally planned for. Great service.

Came into Mavis tires and brakes and Fritz at the front was really fast to respond with questions and concerns! First time here and he was very honest and quick. I mentioned I was in a time crunch and he said no worries and got everything done within a timely manner! I highly recommend this place! 10/10
