Excellent Service

Mohr s worked extremely hard to get my VW back on the road at a reasonable price.

They charge too much for the work they do. Also the customer service is bad. One of the guys there was rude.

No complaints about the service, but the price seemed high. I had breaks replaced , oil & air filter replaced & an oil change. My only suggestion is that when asked for a quote, please include the labor cost! My bill was $300 over the quote. A large chunk of that was labor. I hate sticker shock! I do think they did a good job in a reasonable amount of time & I will have my tires installed here in the future. Thank you.

They took my car so I wouldnt be stopped for expired inspection sticker. The process was very quick. They called & I picked it up right away. They also told me 2 things I needed to attend to.

Communication was excellent. We had issues with our tires and alignment as well as a small oil leak w our Mercedes. Best service and diagnostics. Brought my car to another service center and they could not tell me why my car was shaking when taking turns. Jeff at Mohrs figured out the problem within 2 minutes of driving car. The problem was my rear differential which is very expensive to fix. He advised me to take it to Audi. I was out of line with my last review. I had my work done in January, but since I live in Florida, I was unable to drive the car till June. Best service at Mohr s. My husband had an issue with his boat trailer. They listened to his concern and was able to get him in the next day. So grateful for their dedication to their clients. Now my husband can go fishing on Father s Day, phew!!

I gladly write a review for Mohrs Service Center in Saratoga Springs. I found myself in trouble after arriving in Saratoga after a few hour drive, my front right brake was locking up and new I could Not drive with that, so had to spend the night at a hotel. Not knowing who to call for repair? I goggle auto repair shop and this place came up as a good place to try! I called them first thing Monday morning, explained my problem. They ask if I could get it there or if it needed to be picked up? I could get it there, not being but about 5 minutes away. When I arrived they took it in and went throughout my braking system and found everything to be good? but said what might be happening is when that one brake caliper was getting hot it might be sticking on, or a brake lone was getting soft and collapsing. I ask them to replace both. While they had my vehicle they were nice enough to bring me back to the hotel where I waited and picked me back up when they finished the work. I found this place to be a Great shop and wished I had a place like this near where I live. Friendly, Courteous, well organized, clean shop and very fair price for the work done! I made the trip back to Vermont and everything was perfect! Thanks George

Did really good work on my car and my car runs and drives brand new again

The price was fair, they had me in & out for an unplanned emissions inspection, plugged a flat, & rotated tires. 7:30 - 13:30 ..not bad for no appointment, same day service.

Super job! - Dealer was not able to get the wheel alignment correct even after 2 attempts. Mohrs tech s was able to get it corrected on one visit. Staff is very professional and clean shop.

I m from out of town. My car started leaking power steering fluid during my 200 mile trip to Saratoga. I brought the car to Mohr s based on a google search. They fixed it in one day and did the job for a fair price. If you need anything done to your vehicle, this shop seems completely equipped to handle it. Feel confident bringing it here. 5 stars.

2019 VW Jetta dropped off for Inspection and Brakes on a Thursday morning and all work completed and car picked up at 9pm.

Very communicative, extremely professional, great work. They will not try to put stuff in your car it doesnt need and overcharge you. One of the best shops I have ever used and I only used them in a pinch, if I ever need small things done again I will be coming here.

Mohrs has always provided excellent service and work on my vehicle. Ive been going to Mohrs for the last three years and have always had a great experience. Most recently, after a long-distance drive, my breaks were making a bad grinding sound. Mohrs originally couldnt schedule me in for three weeks due to already being booked up (it was mid-summer). I booked 3 weeks out. Yet two days later they reached out out of the blue, got me in that day, and finished replacing my breaks by the afternoon. Awesome service here!

Fast, friendly, reliable, and efficient

From out of town, here to work for two. Ugh ya in Saratoga. My car was breaking down. Googled mechanic and Mohr s was the first one. Pulled in and explained my issue of being out of town and the car was sputtering and needed help. I was told they could look at it at the end of next week. I repeated that I was from out of town and any way they could help me out. The response I got was, it s Friday afternoon, we are finishing up for the day to get out of here for the weekend. He could not have been any less helpful. It was a bother for him to even look at me. I asked for another mechanic, could he refer someone. After a few I don t know , I was able to get a name out of him: Rowland. Mohr s should take a lesson from Rowland. Rowland not only looked at my car, but had it fixed and on my way within 90 minutes. Plenty of time for them to enjoy their weekend. Oh yeah, Mohr s very large bay had multiple empty spots for cars

Easy to schedule an appointment for NYS inspection on exactly the day and time I needed. Work was completed when promised. Text messaging updates are appreciated. Very friendly and professional employees. Ive been having cars serviced at Mohrs for at least 20 years and have always been satisfied.

Weve found Mohrs to be very trustworthy, and they always have us back on the road in no time.

They were not going to pass inspection due to a piece of tint at the top of windshield just over 8 which has passed inspection since 1999. While this is a big pain thanks to NY, I will give 5 stars because of how they handled me. They gave me the opportunity to take it off and they would continue inspection without me having to make another appointment and having to come back. Thank you. They also did this prior to taking off my sticker and connecting to NYS systems. Id rather have an expired sticker then no sticker so again I give them the credit of foresight and not leaving me high and dry forcing me to come back. Thank you again. They handled an ugly situation very well.

Update to my earlier review. In the owners response to my initial Google review, he said that he reached out to us and left a message. Neither me nor my wife have any email or voicemail from Mohrs. I then called on Mohr s over a week ago and spoke with Jimmy who told me that Eric Mohr was going to give us some sort of a refund in connection with the dissatisfying work done on my wifes BMW. He said someone would contact me on Friday, 11/24. That has not happened and also no refund has been posted to my credit card. So in spite of the three things they said they did or would do, there were no messages left (as they said in their Google response), no call backs, no refunds. Truly unthinkable way to treat customers. My initial review: Very disappointing. Went for an oil change and brake inspection. Neither was done well. After leaving the shop, the car messaged that the brake fluid needed to be flushed. Thought that would have been identified in the brake inspection. Oil was changed fine (we assume) but the service needed warning message was not reset. Wiper fluid was also not refilled even though there was a warning message. As we drove away, the car then messaged that the hood was not closed. Turns out the hood latch was broken, which was NOT the case when the car was brought in. Paid them >$700 to fix that even though it was not broken when we brought the car in. Finally, after we we brought the car back for all of the follow-up issues, they noticed a warning that the key fob battery was low. Without asking us, they changed that. Given all the problems we had, we assumed there would be no charge for that. Nope...$17 for a battery we usually buy at the store for $8. I told the manager I thought that charge was inappropriate and he said he would speak to the owner about having it removed. That was four days ago...still waiting.

Needed to be towed a week after a brake fluid flush. Mohrs shop quoted me over $1000 for a slave cylinder. Brought to the dealership for a 2nd opinion. It was an air bubble from the flush and just had to be re flushed. Wont ever go back. VW owners beware.

Mohrs over charges for parts. I looked up the same brake pads and rotors they put on our 2013 nissan pathfinder and mohrs parts were double the price. I checked on multiple sites and parts dealers. If i was in the area to get the car and not my girlfriend i would have done the work myself. Will not be going back to this garage again. They will take advantage of you. Do your homework and look everything up when they say extra work needs to be done.

The customer service here was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I had an emergency with my cars tire and they were able to fit me into their schedule with same day repairs which I am so incredibly grateful for.
