I went in for paint and I only had a few chips of it from my house. It wasn’t saved in my account and Bob at the paint station helped me out so much. It was pro week so we were able to locate all items that were on sale and then he brought me to the pro desk to check me out. Bob is extremely helpful, knows what he is talking about and extremely nice! Best experience at Home Depot in a long time! Thanks Bob!
No one wants to help anyone. I needed something ordered and the girl said just order it on your phone ! I was in a huge hurry and my phone had 1% left!! I went to the checkout and that woman said go to the desk! I said I was just there for 15 mins finding everything they needed to help me but refused to put the order in for me!
I think for the full past month I’ve been in Home Depot 1-3 times a day! Because I’ve been learning how to finish my basement. And I just want to write a quick review saying how great all the staff was! Today I was in there getting lights and Pat who played third base for South Carolina gamecocks! Was extremely helpful and just a friend! A lot of these people that work at Home Depot truly want to help you and care about your projects
I purchased a dishwasher a few weeks ago. The one I liked was on back order so the sales person showed me on a computer a “very similar” one. I ordered it and it arrived a few days later. Right away I noticed it had an extremely strong plastic smell. I ran the dishwasher several times over the course of a few days trying to see if it would go away. It was so strong my kitchen would smell like plastic. I then noticed the circular part in the bottom was chipping away. I called Home Depot and asked if I could return it for a different model as I was not satisfied at all and the smell was concerning. They told me that I missed the 48 hour return window by one day. I asked to talk to a manager (this is the HD corporate line). I was on hold and passed around for over an hour. I was told they put in a “ticket” for it to be returned and they would call me the following day. The following day I heard nothing so I called and they told me my ticket was still being processed and that they would call me the next day. Well that they came and went, and I heard nothing. So I called again and once again, I was passed around only to be told there was nothing they could do since I missed the 48 hour period by one day. The phone call said 90 minutes. The phone call ended by them telling me a higher up person would call me the next day and I heard nothing the next day of course. So now I am left with a smelly dishwasher that’s chipping away at the bottom. I’m a mom with three little kids and work hard for my money. This is just crappy and I expected better. I learned my lesson not to buy appliances here.
Purchased a Weber 315 LP gas grill today. Chris was outstanding and helped with the sale. The store manager and cashier Patty were excellent to also work with. I had tried to purchase a similar grill at Lowe’s but the supervisor was a jerk. They helped me load it in my car and the process was so easy. Thanks very much!
I was extremely disgusted with the level of inattentiveness, incompetence, and apathy. The store is a complete disorganized mess, I have had employees run away from me after approaching them for help. Do yourself a favor and just go to Lowe's to skip the aggravation, it's only across the street.
During our visit to Home Depot in Saratoga Springs, NY, in the spring of 2024, we had an exceptional experience. The staff, especially the manager Joe, were incredibly helpful and friendly. Went to Home Depot at 11 am on a Wednesday, was swamped with contractors and other customers. Had to pickup an order I placed online. There were 4 women in the customer service area. One was answering the constantly ringing phone and the three others were talking together at a different register. After a few minutes, one of the other ladies came over to assist me. I had to show her the email on my cell to confirm my information regarding the item I selected and had paid for online. She went to a back room, got my item, and helped get it on to a utility cart. Lots of new items in stock, now the employees need to get it unpacked and on the shelves. They definitely need to hire new workers. The parking lot is always horrible and the whole plaza needs restructuring, it’s horrendous driving there! 👎

Why are returns and pick-up in the same place, with the same people doing both. When people return items it takes forever and is never smooth. Something always goes wrong, so its a wait... The thing about staff in all stores is they have a latent attitude of this is my rodeo and take forever to do stuff. I had to ask for them to hurry up, because he was eating a freaking dounut when his butt should of been asking me what I needed. Then his big donut eating but, again lazily gets my item with the silent attitude of attitudes. We all work and are all tired have respect for yourself and others and things will be fine. It just blows my mind that you always have to ask for help while you are standing at the counter....
Stop there yesterday to buy some items that I needed. Bought some with cash. Bought the rest with my card and was on the easy scan. Lady was accusing me of stealing asking me if I bought this item today when I literally bought it right in front of her and the receipt was hanging out of the machine. She continued to give me attitude. Ill never go there ever again

The stock here is awesome! The customer service is great, and they seek out ways to help out. They dont leave you hanging when you are looking for things and need assistance. Kids club always way overcrowded. Maybe because its a newer facility but I would go to lehi. It is significantly less crowded. It would be five stars except for the kids club part.

Ughhhh don t use for paint!!! The rest of the Home Depot is great- but I asked them to match my last order and he gave me the same color in a different finish. Of course I didn t realize until I had completed all touchups and it dried overnight. They comped my next gallon because of this but not even an apology. Currently repainting the whole room. Fml.
I have been to Home Depot twice this week to purchase appliances not one but two big appliances. They have a sale going on so I figured I would utilize this sale and get the refrigerator and gas stove. The first time I went, there were two employees, one who was tending to a MALE customer and the other one was doing nothing. Not once did they ask me if I needed help. When they were both free they began talking to each other. Then when I was fed up after 30 minutes I was getting ready to walk out and another MALE customer walked into the appliance area and immediately they asked him if he needed help. To me that s sexist because I was the ONLY FEMALE in that section. Fast forward to today I walked in again to utilize the last day of the sale and again got ZERO help from anyone still willing to buy the two appliances. After another 30 minutes I walked out again not buying anything. Now I have always chosen Home Depot over Lowe s, I do a lot of shopping here. I m a Home Depot credit card carrier who s absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service provided today. Lost out on a $2000 sale from me. I think after this your company has lost me as a customer and I will be shopping Lowe s from now on for all my needs.

Stood at the empty customer service desk while the older man behind the counter ignored me staring at his paperwork. When he finally asked me how he could help, I asked if the Penske truck rentals are guaranteed if you place an online reservation. He replies I dont know you would have to call Penske. I said oh ok I will go to Uhaul.
UPDATE: I wasn t impressed last year when I visited the shop but it seems they ve made a lot of efforts in fixing their service problems and now it feels great to shop here!
Worst experience ever. Very disorganized and confused with their own deliveries. Weeks of bs back n forth waiting for large packages only to find that they were instead out of stock after being told they literally checked and all was there waiting to go. Dont bother with large online orders with home depot. Great way to turn customers to your competitors

Ive shopped at Home Depot for over 20 years for various home items. Aside from all the shopping I have done, I have recently been most impressed by the employees. Today, I toured Home Depot with my adult vocational group of students to learn about different jobs at Home Depot. We randomly spoke with about 8 employees from various departments. Every person took the time, was kind, informative, patient with our questions and even showed us how some of the big machinery works. Every employee from 4 months to 20 some years of working at Home Depot, spoke highly of the company, and said that they enjoyed their jobs there. We were all very impressed. Thanks to the employees today who made our tour amazing!
Love the store, have a pro account there. Everything I have ordered from the pro desk has been a nightmare. Plan on pulling your own order, and dont count on getting delivery. They totally botched up a $10,000 lumber order. All in stock, couldnt get it pick with a week notice and couldnt get it delivered. I had to make four trips with my own equipment trailer to keep my project fed. Store manager offered me $250 gift card for my inconvenience, then she retracted the offer when I actually asked for the card. ( and refused to return my call). The only reason I still use them is that Lowes is 10x worse.
Al was the most helpful person I have ever met. When I walked into the store and passed him he has a huge smile on his face, little did i know I would need his assistance buying a bathroom vanity that was out of stock in Clifton Park. He helped me pick it out and was the most kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you Al! More should be like you!

DO NOT USE ACS flooring! Home Depot contracted ACS to install flooring that we purchased through Home Depot, not sure why Home Depot would continue using ACS Flooring with the amount of bad reviews and bad workmanship proven with photos. Not only did they do a horrible job, they lied, blamed our house for the floor separating and then refused to fix their mistakes. We have properly installed floors of the same material throughout the other two stories of our home, installed 5 years ago by a different company and they are still perfect. ASC put garbage quality flooring with garbage quality work. The so called independent contractor they sent to see the job was definitely working for them. Shady company, stay away and save yourself the expense and aggravation of having to hire someone to fix what ACS will give you. Photos show 2 of the several issues with the installation. Home Depot did not offer to help or correct the issue, even though ACS was a subcontractor of Home Depot. If you purchase flooring at Home Depot, definitely find your own trustworthy installers.
The guys in the lumber department have been so kind in dealing with an older women when they usually service contractors. One person, Cliff went above and beyond to help me, which is so appreciated. Thank you
I am a veteran who used to shop Home Depot because they used to offer a discount when you present ID. I went to purchase a lawn mower and at the register I was told to download an app run by a third party corp so I can send them a digital copy of my ID so they can approve or deny my discount. As a retired shop teacher, disabled veteran and US citizen I am insulted when the ID that will give me access to any military installation is not goof enough for Home Depot. My drivers license also has veteran on it but that is also not good enough. Home Depot continues to find new ways to get out of the discount they chose to offer. I also called the customer service number that should get me to corporate but instead connected me to a third party operator in Mexico. I called the number over 3 dozen times only to get Mexico. I will no longer shop at any Home Depot and I do not recommend this business to anyone especially fellow veterans. Do not give your information to the web app. They just want to sell it to subsidiaries. I am also not a fan of a US based companies outsourcing customer service and giving away America jobs to Mexico or any other country. Stop scamming Home Depot. Don t offer a discount if you re not going to honor it. I can vote for a president easier than I can get your discount.
As a customer of Home Depot, I must express my extreme disappointment with the appalling lack of basic facilities in their restroom. During my recent visit, I encountered a dire situation that left me utterly mortified and disgusted. Upon entering the restroom facilities, I was greeted with an empty toilet paper dispenser in the stall. As nature called with an urgency that could not be ignored, I was left with no choice but to utilize whatever means were available to address the matter at hand. Regrettably, the only option presented to me was to use my socks as makeshift toilet paper. The experience was not only unsanitary but also deeply humiliating. It is utterly unacceptable for a reputable establishment like Home Depot to neglect such a fundamental aspect of customer service. Adequate provision of restroom essentials should be a non-negotiable priority, yet my distressing encounter suggests otherwise. Furthermore, the lack of response or acknowledgment from staff regarding this issue only compounds my dissatisfaction. It is evident that Home Depot has failed to uphold even the most basic standards of hygiene and customer care. In light of this egregious oversight and the subsequent indignity I was subjected to, I am compelled to give Home Depot a one-star rating. Until they rectify this egregious oversight and prioritize the well-being and comfort of their customers, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. Buyer beware, for even the most basic human needs are not guaranteed to be met at Home Depot.
They had a sign saying I would get a free soda if they forgot to ask me about a Home Depot credit card .and they didn t ask me about the Home Depot credit card .but the lady said they weren t actually going to honor the free soda and she wasn t allowed to give me a free soda . I know this sounds like a little issue, but that is false advertising to offer something for free but then actually not honor the promotion If it was a local pizza place and they didn t honor the free soda promotion they would get blasted on but because it is a big corporation. Nobody is going to care.
My go to place for home depot. This one is a bit further but its worth it for its stock, never really needed help from an associate, so this review is solely based on how easy it is to find things, always been a pleasure going in, can go in and out very quickly.

Just left the store empty handed because after waiting for a half an hour and asking multiple people for assistance, there wasnt one person currently working who could operate a lift to take down the grill we were looking at purchasing. Even though we saw someone taking down something for someone else. When asked again for help, that associate supposedly just went home. Wont go back to the Saratoga store. Horrible customer service!
I Love Home Depot, I call this my Home away from Home, I m here pretty much at least once a week or so. Great knowledgeable staff and low prices. And by now I pretty much know where just about everything is in the store and if I don t then I can find it on my Home Depot App
Easy to find what I needed
This is the best Home Depot ever. I know a guy from Albany who drives up to this Home Depot because its so great. Someone will always help you find something or give you fix it advice. Always trust Bob in paint. They dont have tool rental unfortunately. Your dog is always welcome! PS: I know several people who tell me that they drive from Albany with their whole family just to go to this Home Depot - they make a day trip of it - because its so much better than all the rest in our area!

After our refrigerator gave up the ghost we went to Home Depot to search for a new one. After a sales rep tried to talk us out of buying the fridge we wanted we eventually did purchased a new Frigidaire from the Saratoga Home Depot on July 31st, 2022. We paid in full and scheduled a delivery for the following week, August 8th. We made it through that week with a small little mini fridge we have in our garage, not ideal for a medium size family with children. Unfortunately, the fridge arrived damaged upon delivery. I was told by the delivery drivers Id receive a call from Home Depot about a replacement that day, which I never received. The next day I called a 1-800 number from my receipt and was told a new unit would be shipped to Home Depot from Frigidaire as a replacement and should be delivered or shortly after August 19th. I informed the rep that I could not wait that long as we currently had no refrigerator. She said if we took the new unit they would give us a discount off the price once it was delivered. When I asked what kind of discount they offered I was told it would be a $100 gift card to Home Depot... To say Im disappointed in Home Depot would be a monumental understatement. How they could think a customer, with no fridge, would wait an extra week and a half for a unit that I could literally pick up the same day from their largest competitor baffles my mind, and for what, a $100 gift card?!? Home Depot has lost a loyal customer today.

Purchased cabinets, delivery showed up at 9am no calls, nothing, so wasn t ready. The driver was nasty and verbally abusive, swearing and threatening, and not all cabinets were delivered. Spent 3 days talking to Patty, who stated she filed an incident on the drive, but had no idea what the process was, asked for a manager to call me, never did, they did finally deliver the remaining cabinets. I will never purchase from this store again. Hope no one else gets the delivery driver from hell.
No problem got all the stuff I need for my project
I generally order on line and is usually ready at contractors pickup area. Sometimes I have to go to the customer service area which is at the far opposite end of the store which makes it somewhat inconvenient. I really dont mind if I have other things to pickup and I usually do. Good place to go to otherwise. They have most of the items I need.
I visited the Saratoga NY store and was really pleased with multiple aspects. Store was clean, employees were helpful and yet not aggressive in trying to ask you if you need assistance. Checkout was fast, way, and just great actually. Yet probably amongst my best experience was seeing a working store manager. I didnt know he was the store manager until afterwards, only tip off I received was the way he was dressed. However he had his utility belt on ready for anything. He had his gloves, knife, scanner, and etc.. He had reminded me of myself when I was running retail stores. He wasnt afraid to get dirty and do what he expected of his employees. You can also see he was respected, as the employees didnt run away when he was near or hide, they actually spoke an had a few giggles so to speak. Its rare to see this still today. Another great aspect of the store was everything I looked at was priced, clean, and well stocked and faced. I didnt find any faults with this store, and Im usually one to always find something. Today was a good day for Saratoga!

We had a very bad experience after purchasing three containers of Liquid Deer and Rabbit Repellent from Home Depot in Saratoga Springs. One of the containers was defective and leaked all over the back carpet area of my SUV. We immediately contacted the store and they took our contact information and said an insurance company would be in contact. In the meantime, I immediately took my SUV to have the interior professionally shampooed. A kind young man worked on it till midnight - well after his business hours. While there was some improvement, it still stinks. I can tell you firsthand that this product will keep more than deers and rabbits away! What started out as a smooth process has now turned to frustration. The insurance company and client (Home Depot, I assume) are unwilling to replace the carpet in the back area. Instead they think it is reasonable for me to put up with this awful smell? All I am asking is for Home Depot and the insurance company to do what it will take to return my SUV to the condition it was in, prior to the defective container leakage. Seems reasonable to me. Went to Saratoga store on Nov. 29th to ask for Kitchen cabinets quote. No specialist was available, so they took my name and phone number and promised to be called back. 20 min later i got a call from HD customer service and asked what do I need. I explained again, and then they said that someone will contact me soon. Never happened. Went back in the store on January 5th around 5PM and Mr Charles was sitting at the desk doing nothing. I told him what I wanted and he said that I need an appointment. I thought there is someone else who is doing this and he/she is not available at the time. So I said ok, and a new appointment was set on January 12th, 2023 from 1PM to 3:15 PM. I went back on the 12th and there were 3 associates sitting and chatting. So I waited for 3 or 4 minutes until Mr Charles asked me how can I help you? I said I have an appointment , and he goes: Appointment??? (he had no clue that he has an appointment which he set up). Appointment with who? , and I said with you! . His face was straight, so I reminded him what I need and he started remembering things. Anyway, I thought we can proceed, as I pulled the measurements out, but he asked me to leave the paper with him (which I thought it is strange), so I asked: can you make a copy? He goes we are not allowed! . I said ok, then he took my paper, he started looking into the computer to make sure he has the right info and he turned towards me saying: I will send you a quote by Sunday! I asked why? Because it takes time to enter data and create the plan, etc. I said: you booked this appointment for 2 hours and 15 min, and after 15 min you are telling me that I can leave??? I am sorry Long story short, I went to Lowes, and without appointment I was out of the door in 1 hour and 15 minutes with a quote in my pocket. Way to do business HD! And that Charles guy you re paying him for doing nothing!

Purchased Lasko xtra Air tower fan at the regular price. It was delivered in a couple days . First problem it was an already returned item. The messy wrapping was an immediate hint. Secondly there was a major part missing! The directions to assemble were also askew. What a sloppy job someone did in Returns!!!!
Very poor customer service. I bought a washing machine and dryer from Home Depot and delivered it in three months. Havent used it yet, its a problematic machine. Dont Let me return or change a new one. Nor did it help find someone to fix it. I have been taking my clothes outside to wash in the past few months. The problem still not been solved.

Honestly, I did not want to even give it one star. My boyfriend and I stopped in to see a Granny Smith apple tree and asked if it was able to be purchased and picked up the next day. We understood if it wasn t possible but customer service at the Saratoga Home Depot told a cashier to have us bring the tree back to see if we could pay for it and pick it up tomorrow and a very rude lady from customer service decided to give us a rotten attitude and rudely said we don t do that . We were not giving her a hard time at all. In fact, we were nice about it. She wasn t. She literally made us wheel the tree all the way through the store just for her to be rotten to us about keeping on hold. Won t recommend getting a tree from there. Thanks Karen.

Usually, I do not have a bad experience at this location. Lately though, service has declined. Cashiers hardly know what they doing - not just product knowledge, today I was in line and waiting for the gentlemen to scan my mortar and after a few awkward moments he asked if I wanted to buy the mortars why yes that is why I am inline. Then he couldnt find the bar code so I had to find it for him. Two trips in a row, the stone that I needed (first trip wall block and todays trip old Town brick) was not stocked on the shelves, but said it was available online. Today no one could be found to help. Last weekend, the garden department sent me back to look around for more inventory myself. With no additional service I went to customer service, where I had to wait 20 min in line and additional time for the associate to figure out who could help (which was not apparent and caused some confusion). Maybe this related to the labor shortage - but I would think home depot could offer attractive enough compensation to staff effectively.

There was no one to help us find what we needed. The one person we finally found to ask had no idea how to help us and couldnt get anyone else to help us.The line to check out of the garden center stalled when the cashier couldnt scan some mums. The other register didnt work.

The kitchen faucet display was so ragged it was useless.
Waited 5.5 hours for an order pickup and it s still not ready. Called the store an hour ago and they said they would get it ready still waiting. Very frustrated.
Excellent customer service
I needed a 1/2 box wrench for a snowblower repair but all 1/2 wrenches were sold out except wrench sets and ratchet versions, neither of which I really needed. The store rep for the tool dept went out of his way to ask me a bunch of questions for what I really needed and why, and he gave me the ratchet version for the price of the standard 1/2 box wrench because he had none of what I needed anywhere in the store. Very much appreciated, and I will pay this kindness forward. Great store, great employees.

I shop at Home Depot daily and spend at least $1000 or $2000 every other week. When shopping today on January 16, 2021 I was advise by checkout person named Patty that Home Depot does not price match other competitors. She stated that they never have done that. When I advised that I have use this in the past she became irritated and stated she will do it just just once for me! when I called customer service I then spoke with a highly uncooperative male associate who seem to know nothing about this topic and when I asked to speak to a manager he sarcastically said sure and hung up the phone. With minimum wage being so high nowadays I would expect a bit more customer service. I ll just leave shop elsewhere or keep my business local

As seen above and below Worst Depot Location Ive seen or you read about ------ ------------------------------------------------------------ Upstate Chain of lackluster locations to be the known worst they have you would think this eye opening [no wonder there now always hiring Not only a bad employer they leave a customer waiting all day empty-handed! a horrible excuse for a made In america kind of store! Depot Saratoga Refuses to hire Veterans like yourself - Or Anyone who uses Cannabis with a proper NYS medical card. Which, Reviews of this Location would make you think the employees had to stay in the paint section overnight for employment training and initiation [all do respect] or that they all use marijuana to the Regan Era ideology of the term. Store needs an Unlimited supply of veterans with the unkimited bad reviews about the services at this Depot [or the lack of Service]
So did the home project thing and have had 600 square feet of my 800 square feet home filled with boxes of cabinets and floors for almost 2 months, cant get anyone in the line the kitchen department just hangs up, and everyone is waiting on the cabinet guy who said he would call me back when he can look at his schedule 2 weeks ago, its a 2 day job at most and honestly I have already made 2 payments towards the home project financing without them literally doing anything, I am calling to get the blue prints so I can hire someone else , look around before you jump into their rabbit hole
