Jiffy Lube in Saratoga Springs

Don t go there they don t know nothing. I just went there and they told me my Nissan Rogue 2015 doesn t have a dipstick for the transmission fluid so they can t do the change. I m literally right now at the Jiffy Lube at Clifton Park getting the service done and the mechanic just show me the dipstick.

I always appreciate the professionalism, speed, and ease of visiting of Jiffy Lube. They do a great job with oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid swaps. Last time I visited I enjoyed interacting with Amelia. She was pleasant and had a great disposition.

Should have been 4 stars. I went in for an inspection and an oil change. The car is only 1 year old, so the inspection was minimal. They did the inspection but forgot to do the oil change. And yes, it was on the order sheet that they go by.

Always courteous and professional. This time was for an engine check light. Got me in gave me the printout I needed and I was on my way.

Always busy. Always a wait. But they work quickly.

Another case of the windshield wiper scam. My wife brought in my truck for a NYS inspection and was told that truck would fail if wipers were not replaced. The truck had been looked over by myself prior to the inspection to make sure it would pass (I have a mechanical background as both a civilian and in the military). Told her to buy the cheapest set of wipers and leave. My recommendation is to stay far away from Jiffy Lube.

Very long 4hr wait to get a simple inspection. 1.5 of the 4 hr wait was with my vehicle in a bay. Understaffed. Didn t get a free car wash either.

The word JIFFY should be deleted from the company name. Nearly two hours for NYS inspection and 4 tire rotation. Was charged an additional $7.99 for shop supplies yet to be identified. The telephone is not answered when several calls were made to understand the charge. When this location in Saratoga Springs was operated by Hoffmans, the work would be completed in approx 45 minutes.

Very poor service I waited over an hour and a half for oil change and then they try to sell me other products not really needed at the time of the oil change telling me how it was going to destroy my car if I dont buy the product thats a scare tactic I believe that is illegal to me jiffy lube sucks the only thing youre good for is your automatic car wash

Very disappointed, they will add things to be changed even if not necessary, they guy told me To be able to pass the inspection you have to change the windshield I asked about the price he told me 35$ when they called me to checkout the price was double I will never go back again.

Took over an hour to get car into a bay and another hour to get the oil changed. Ironic that they are called Jiffy Lube because they can t seem to live up to that. When I was finally called to discuss my needs I was told it would be $137 but when I checked out it was $157. When I questioned this I was told the drain plug has to be changed every time the oil is changed. That is nonsense and seems like a big scam by Jiffy Lube. Whether Ford recommends it be changed or not $19.99 for a plastic plug still screams SCAM. I will never be back.

They diagnosed issues with my transmission. Changed the fluid. Fixed the issue.

I procrastinated getting my mandated state inspection and found that most places are miserly with their appointments, not surprising since they dont make money on the service which currently costs $10. Jiffy Lube on the other hand will do your inspection with no inspection needed. I showed up just before they opened and had my morning coffee sitting in my truck outside the service bay. Within 2 hours I was done and on my way. Jiffy Lube evidently thinks this is a good way to attract new customers and it worked on me; Ill be back for my oil changes in the future.

Multiple issues with this place where do I start? Want to get an inspection got turned away because they couldnt get my tire off because of a lock key. I buy a lock key and they inspect it without taking my tire off scratched brand new car going through drive-thru another occasion when I went to use the self-serve wash station the whole unit fell from the ceiling

Complete disorganization. Brought my car for a simple tire swap. Got in the waiting line for an hour and when the car was in I went to the counter to confirm that I dont want balancing. The guy at the counter then said they do nothing with tires here, just inspections. I referred to the list of service on their website and the guy who took my order and mentioned that the tires are already mounted and just need to be swapped. After another consultation with the staff he then concluded they only have one rubber block to jack up the car (Tesla) as they usually only look at one tire and they would need four. Car was pulled out again and I left after an hour of my time wasted for nothing.

Professional and safe bunch of guys doing good work

Advertised 15 minute oil change but didnt meet the time expectation given only 2 cars ahead of me.

It took awhile to get my car done, but that was not a problem. The girl at the counter was the problem. She was rude and hung out with the guys in the garage ignoring customers that came in the shop.

Took my car in for inspection today and was told it couldn t be done because the tire lock key wasn t there. Interestingly enough, it was there last year when Jiffy Lube did the inspection, but it s now missing. I did not change a flat tire or move the tire lock key since last year, so Jiffy Lube was so negligent that they didn t even realize or care that they kept my tire lock key. Now it s up to me to get another one and schedule another inspection. Very inconvenient and the worst customer service.

Only problem took a long time to get oil changed. There was a car in front of mine getting radiator flushed My veh was done but had to wait for the veh in front was done. Should have a lane for oil changes to cut down on wait time

Had to come in cause brake line was leaking. Rob and his team got me right in and fixed the problem on the spot and made our van safe again! Will be coming back for sure cause of the outstanding sercive we got!!

Got there at 8 for an inspection and got right in, first time I ve never been told I need to buy a million things and have a bunch of stuff fixed.

Can to get a oil change plus a inspection waited 1 an half hour. Call me car wash done paid bil. After looking at it I noticed no inspection done. Had to wait another half hour . Im not happy camper

Needed to get my car inspected and an oil change. Even though it was busy I got what I needed, plus tire rotation. Rob was courteous and professional, and I appreciated getting in and out without taking up my whole day.

Very slow. Just went for an oil change and the car in front of me had tire rotation, brakes So they kept my hood up with nothing being done for 45 minutes. Every time I come here it takes more time and costs more money. Go elsewhere.

I had a wait as there were several cars ahead of me. I had previously been to the one in Queensnury, close to my home a couple days in a row. Every day I pulled in they were not doing inspections due to lack of staff and then computer issues. I was frustrated and had to drive to the Saratoga Srings one , half an hour away. Just wanted it done at that point. They were very pleasant did the job in a timely manner. I was happy I passed inspection and I asked about my tire pressure. They added air and they were in good shape. I got a cabin filter so I was good till next oil change. The people were exceptionally nice and cared about my waiting time. Happy finally got it completed. Saratoga Springs store was very good!!

Scrapped of inspection sticker that was not expired, high pressure sales techniques that feel shady. Another visit, employee removed interior filter without permission and broke a small plastic arm causing a functional issue with my vehicles interior air system.

I was here for a state inspection. There was a long wait but I was informed ahead of time and made the choice to stay. Nicky, the woman who checked me in, was friendly and very professional. Received a phone call with unexpected (minor) repairs needed and got thorough explanation of costs. The mechanic who worked on my car was friendly and helpful. I will definitely use their services again and don t understand people complaining about a wait! There s no appointment - so go in with the expectation that you may have to wait, or go somewhere else. I work retail and we have ongoing staff shortages due to summer illness spiking again as well as vacations. I m sure JL has the same issues. Anyway, thanks for being there for us Jiffy Lube. Your staff work hard and deserve grateful customers.

Oil change and inspection in an hour!

The tech forgot to adjust the air in my tires, even after I specifically requested that he do so (I knew one tire was quite low). I left and was a 1/4 mile away before my tire pressure #s came up, and I had to go back. No apology for their mistake or my inconvenience. Also, topping off coolant is now a $9.99 up charge?! Update on July 23: no response from the owner, a week after replying to his invitation to get in touch with him. Pro tip: customer service isn t about just saying the right thing, you need to follow through!

On July 26th, I took my car in to this location for an oil change. The change oil light was on (and ONLY the change oil light). In the past, Id have been called up to an associate to go over what I wanted done with my car, what oil, etc. This was not done. When my oil changed was finished, I went to the subway across the street and noticed that my service engine soon light and low washer fluid lights were on. I immediately took my car back to be checked to ensure all caps, fluids, etc were correctly handled. After about 5 mins, the very young manager comes out and asks me if I have a receipt, I replied No and he found it in the waste basket. At this point, he starts gaslighting me and saying the service engine light was on when the car was pulled into the bay. I very politely let him know that whomever was saying that was very much mistaken and that the only light that was on was the oil change light (and since it wasnt annotated in the mechanic notes that is proof I am correct). This man was very adamant that this was just my car coincidentally having this error code at that exact moment and nothing they did. He went on to continue his gaslighting to say Your car has a lot of codes so there is probably something else going on. No, Sir, my car is regularly serviced at a mechanic that knows what they are doing and I greatly regret that out of town travel required me to get an oil change that day. Unfortunately, that couldnt happen with the light on and I had to wait almost two weeks to get into my mechanic with no vehicle, to find it was VERY MUCH something they did. They removed or broke the oil filter cap stem. So a mechanic bill later, Im paying for their mistake. The key thing here is that instead of being adamant about no mistake being made and slamming my hood multiple times while they checked to make sure caps were tight (and nothing else) they should have double checked that everything was done properly. They probably could have found the stem and possibly reattached it (if they hadnt broken it) saving me a repair bill and two weeks of no vehicle. Maybe then they would have noticed that whomever worked on my car never topped off the fluids either. Thanks for nothing Jiffy Lube Saratoga.

No free car wash no text email or paper. Attendant would not help. So we left. Send to me at least one coupon for your mistake. I live an hour away.

This visit for a state inspection was very disappointing. I was told it would be 1 1/2 hrs . The visit was over 2 hours which I would have had more patience for but I had a lunch date with my daughter who I dont have the opportunity to see often . I ran super late for that . The waiting area was full of alot of angry customers and on a nearly 90 degree day there was no air conditioning just a single fan. The refrigerator was stocked with water but it was warm ,clearly this place needs some maintenance.

Went in for an oil change, and an overheating issue. They flushed the radiator and changed the oil but the car is still overheating on the way home.

I have to say things are quite different from before. I was Leary because of the reviews I saw but I prayed real hard , when I arrived the very nice young attendant came out to my car and said there would be a 2 hour wait so I ask if I could leave it with him , he agreed they failed to call at the 2 hour mark so I called and it was ready and waiting for me. I payed a very nice young woman at the counter, they didn t try to sell me anything extra I didn t need and even left me a print out of a recall on my vehicle very nice and pleasant.

I had an oil leak they told me and I needed to take it to a dealer to get fixed. Jiffy just topped it off for free. Can t beat free and and an assessment on the issue.

A new inspection on 1 year old car took almost 1 hour. Good thing I was first in line. Have noticed that the service and attitude of workers has slipped since the Hoffman family sold the business. Too bad, as they knew how to treat customers so well. They will be missed for sure.

Go pretty regularly to get oil changes. Cabin filter needed to be replaced. So I said yes. Well, even with $25 coupon I paid $125 for oul change and filter. Filter was $50, (3 laywr carbon filter on AMAZON IS 11.99) and a new fee I have never seen on a bill for $5 shop supplies. Cost of living has gone up so much that you would think a business may want to practice not nickle and dining customers or over charging so much for a filter . Surely if its $11.99 on AMAZON JIFFY LUBE is definitely not paying that for something they buy in bulk

Absolute worst customer service I ve ever seen. Wayyyyy overpriced also. Every employee was extremely rude. They rummaged through my stuff in my car and then left my car sitting in the parking lot unattended with the windows down and keys in the ignition. No one informed me that the car was ready and then they gave me attitude when I walked into the shop to ask if I could pay them ($100 for an oil change) so that I could go home. No one working the service desk. This was after I had waited for almost an hour, when they told me no more than 30 minutes. I guess I learned my lesson about jiffy lube, where they hire people that should be running a McDonalds fryer to work on people s expensive vehicles. Never again.

I was the third vehicle in line and arrived for an oil change at 7:30 am. They had only the first bay open at 8 am when they opened. The second bay was blocked off by a traffic cone. They took in the two vehicles before me both were getting NYS INSPECTION. Then they opened the second bay and brought in cars that came in after myself and the truck behind me.9:05 My car was still waiting to come in the bay. I asked and was told new staff so they did not realize cars they registered first should be done first. Complained they say first come first serve. Manager got.the car in and did give me a substantial discount. Really need to get their act together to get 5 stars from me.

Went in for oil change waited an hour & then was told my car inspection was complete. My inspection wasn t up until October, so it made no sense they wouldn t recognize that. Two days later lost the lug nut cover that was pulled to do the inspection I didn t need. No apologies, just no charge for the inspection I didn t need & another half hour wait.

I was told that I would have a 50 minute wait and a 30 minute stay in order to have my car inspected. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, watching at least 4 other customers who had come in after me for the same service leave. Didn t exactly give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I wasn t going to leave a review, but got the prompt to via text (perfect example of a smart system being dumb!). I stopped in for a NYS inspection and was very surprised how long it was taking. After about 15-20 minutes I got the call out to the work area where they displayed a clean filter and showed me my coolant quality (which they said was right in the verge of needing to be changed). I stated that I had a VW and knew they were particular as far as coolant goes. They said that they carried universal coolant, but I graciously declined. They accepted, but looked disappointed that I was only spending the $24 that the state was requiring me to spend for an inspection. I peered into the shop through the windows on and off for another 20 minutes while nobody was near my car. I finally stopped looking. I watched as everyone who had been in the waiting room with me was released then I started to get lapped by newer people being released. 10 minutes later I noticed my car sitting out side ready to be driven away. I stood up paced around the room trying to find someone I could ask to cash me out so I could be on my way 10 minutes later they call someone else up to pay for their car as they get their car taken out of the shop (showed up after I arrived and was waiting). I asked them if I needed to pay as my car was out there and ready. They said oh, they must have forgotten about you, they do that a lot. I paid and went out to my car (which had been locked). I had to go back inside and ask for my keys (as they forgot to give me them during check out). A simple NYS inspection on a 4 year old car took me over an hour! Unbelievable! Go to a small local shop or your dealership for anything you would think about bringing your car in here for. They will try and upsell you. If you don t buy, they ll ignore you and forget you re even there.

They charged me for services I did not authorize and overcharged me for the oil used - of course, the more expensive oil. I had to be vigilant about the bill. This is a routine practice - each time I bring my car there, I am overcharged by mistake. Overall, Jiffy Lube is convenient, so I bring my car there; I just have to be vigilant.

Very busy. Paid $138 for an oil change (using a coupon). Didnt get the reminder sticker or a vacuum. I know its a light vacuum they do but they didnt touch it. My bf went w his car also at same time. Same thing with his as well.

This shop should have a First In First Out system. We came in for a NY State Inspection and it took 2 hrs to have it done. There were cars that were way behind us but they got attention first. Looks like the same thing happened to us as in previous Customer reviews. The technician recommended for us to buy the air filters from Jiffy Lube but we told them we are changing it ourselves and were just here for the inspection. The 6 cars that were behind us got completed before we had our car inspected. Now tell me if thats just a coincidence. Sad!

Normally this Kiffy Lube has 3 lanes with 2 bays in each lane For at least the last few days the doors on 2 of the lanes are not functional. I was overdue for a 10,000 mile oil change. I figured with 2 lanes down, they would not take time telling you about extras. They didnt but it seemed as if 8 ir so employees were milling about the 2 cars in the only lane. Cars appeared to be uncorked on for many minutes. Its often slow butthe 45 minutes to serve my car seemed extraordinarily long for just an oil change. I will definitely check out a local garages fee for an oil change.

Usually my go to places for inspection, oil changes and car washes. Last few times service has been awful I will be taking my multiple vehicles elsewhere. So disappointing.

Great service. Love the self serve wash. Use it all the time. But I have a question, I always go past a very strange noise while passing Jiffy Lube, (The wall with the two doors with no handles) Someone told me that it is a vacuum. Why is that vacuum so incredible rusted? Is anyone going to think about replacing that vacuum? It looks like a vacuum from the 1990s to be honest. Not trying to be a pain, Im just interested, How did you guys get that vacuum to sound like that?
