Mavis Discount Tire in Saratoga Springs

I had two tires full of nails and no tire shop could help me. I was completely terrified with one donut and one tire just about flat. I coasted in to Mavis of Saratoga to a soft spoken, understanding and very knowledgeable Manager named Damien and he got me right in replaced them and I was so relieved. His staff is awesome as well. I would give this shop 10 stars if I could.

Had my new car since September with new tires. Some how I picked up a sharp razor blade and it punched my tire. After getting the tire changed went to Saratoga Mavis the next morning to see it was repairable or if I need a new tire. They were able to repair it and plug the hole and got me on my way in less than an hour. I got a quote for a new tire if I should need to replace the damage tire at a later time. Darcy and Damien were pleasant and professional. We back the next day to get my tire re-torqued as recommended after driving 50 miles on the repaired tire. Damien was there and was asking if everything was OK with the repair and I advised him just here to have the tire retorqued. I was out of there in 10 minutes. Happy with the service received.

They are always very nice. The services was fairly quick.. ive gotten a tire change inspection done here never meet with a attitude and the price for tires are one of the best

I highly recommend Mavis Tires in Saratoga. I happened to be traveling from an hour away and realized something was wrong with my tires. They were shaking violently on our drive. I noticed even though it was late on a Friday night Mavis Tires lights were still on so I stopped by. When I explained the situation they took me right in and checked to make sure that I could ride safely (even though they were CLOSED!!). Sure enough when my husband got snow tires put on in a place closer to our home they didn t tighten the lugnuts!!! I can t express my gratitude for the kindness and service I received. Thank you so much for fitting me in after hours, and for providing such service!!! They didn t even let me pay for it. They just wanted me to be safe! What an incredible business. Thank you!! Beyond highly recommend!

My gf had a leaking tire. They were open on a Sunday. Stopped in, They took the front tire off and found a nail but being close to the sidewall they wouldnt repair. They gave her a price on a set of tires which we didnt jump at. We asked them to put the donut spare on the rear and the rear to the front. When we came to pick up the car there was no charge! Would give 5 star except the tire price was high.

We ere told by call center they had tires and and could fix the valve stem on a trailer with a couple scaffolding sections in it the people there were very rude and unprofessional especially the young kid that works there I the front....100 percent do not recommend

I had such a wonderful experience at Mavis Saratoga - I got a flat tire and being new to the area I wasnt sure where to go. It was suggested to call Mavis since they have more tires in stock. When I called, they had the tire I needed and got an appt the same day. When I got to the appt, Darcy at the front desk was so nice and welcoming. Mavis checked the flat I had and was able to patch the tire. I was so thankful for their service - I will definitely use them in the future and will be recommending them to others as a go to place for any tire needs.

Dont bother coming here. We came here to get a patch done on a leaky tire, we were told that they couldnt patch it because a nail had allegedly made multiple holes throughout the tire. So we arranged to buy 4 new tires there because its an AWD vehicle and we have to. Made an appointment to come in the next day to get this work done (we had to take off work to get it done, and only have one vehicle so we needed it done asap because financially we cant be missing work) and when we got there the next day to get our tires replaced, our reservation wasnt even in the system. The guy told us they had a bunch of call outs, and there was only one technician working. The day before, they were also understaffed and had a call out. ALSO, when we were there yesterday they had to put our donut tire on because our tire allegedly had holes in it from the alleged nail, but they didnt even fill up the donut and luckily we checked it and filled it up ourselves because that couldve been extremely dangerous. They had it at 11psi. It needs to be at 60psi. Incredibly irresponsible and unprofessional. Would never recommend. Dont come here because they probably wont have a record of your appointment, they probably will be understaffed, and they might even cause a hazardous situation with your vehicle that could result in your injury or worse. After reading all of the negative reviews, Im not shocked this happened. Unprofessional work and shadiness seem to be commonplace here. Read the negative reviews before getting any work done. *Update* We ended up going to a highly reputable tire business in the area, and they were able to repair our leaky tire no problem. There were not multiple holes like Mavis had said and marked on our tire. There was exactly one hole from one nail, and the rest of the spots they marked were literally just pebbles stuck in the treads Mavis is such a shady business that relies on trying to scam nice people into buying 4 new tires when there was no need to in the first place. Luckily, we did not go through with buying the tires and getting the work done and sought out a second opinion from a much more skilled and professional business. Additionally, Mavis also put one of our lug nuts on improperly, which then caused our stud to break off and now we need to get that repaired too. Were going to be leaving reviews everywhere we can, reporting you, and doing the survey you begged us to do before leaving the first day. *Update #2* In response to the ingenuine auto-response to my review; No Mavis, we will not be contacting your customer support line to discuss our experience because it is plain to see that this is just how you conduct business regularly. We will never be contacting you, we will never be coming back to Mavis, and we will ensure that anyone we care about never puts their vehicles in your irresponsible and unprofessional hands.

Ive been here twice and each time Ive been more impressed by their customer service than many other establishments. If you have a tire issue this is the place to go to.

Stopped here on a cold rainy day to reset my TPMS lights on my sedan as it wouldn t shut off from manual reset. Cole was extremely helpful and came out in the rain to reset all of my sensors and now the car is working perfectly.

I discovered a slice in the side wall of my tire which was not repairable. Despite being busy, Mavis made time for me to come in at 3 pm to look into ordering a replacement. They were able to get a new tire shipped overnight. They even double-checked their measurements and determined that I only needed one new tire as opposed to two, saving me hundreds of dollars. Grateful to the helpful and friendly staff at Mavis for getting my tire squared away within 24 hours. This was just my second visit, but will not be my last. I use Mavis for all my tire needs, and would highly recommend them.

Today I received exceptional customer service from Darcy and Charles at this Mavis location. I was in town for a concert and woke up with a flat tire. After going to a couple of other service shops throughout Saratoga no one was able to get replacement tires timely for us to be able to go home (which was 2 hours away). From the moment I called Darcy she was so amazing and helpful. She was able to locate the tires I wanted and get them to the shop within hours. By 2:30 I was back on my way with four brand new Michelin tires. I am so grateful to her and Charles for going out of the way to get us home safely tonight. The level of customer service is exceptional and other Mavis locations should take note. I wish I lived closer as I would definitely bring all my vehicles there. Thank you both for everything today!

Made appointment on Thursday around 4pm for a flat tire next day at 8am. I arrived @ 8:01 and they had it on the rack by 8:10 and two new tires on it by 8:40. Paid and on the road by 8:45. Newer staff was professional, courteous and friendly. Timeliness and communication is everything. Very pleased. Will patronize again. A+

I needed two front tires in order to pass inspection. I called Monro and gave them all my information. I was told no problem, just come on in and was told it would take around 3 hours. When I got there, they told me that they, in fact, did not have a single tire that would work for what I needed and basically just said have a nice day and watched me leave. Because I desperately needed two tires, I drove across the street to Mavis, where they not only had several tires for me to choose from, but I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. The price was great and the service was fantastic.

Cole was great, gave me a great price for putting on a new tire and provided me with helpful information on tire maintenance. Would absolutely recommend to all.

Easy to get quick appointment . Tire repair. Remount another tire. Courteous, efficient, fair price and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I have been going to Mavis for approximately 15 years as a very loyal customer. I have purchsed ALL of my tires from them. Today i made an appointment to replace all 4 tires. I called and asked for an out the door all inclusive price. I was advised 470 dollars. The store called back and said the actual price would be 535 dollars. As a loyal customer i kept the appointment. After my daughter arrived and the tires installed they then tried to get 15 dollars per tire more. This would have been over a hundred dollars more than i was quoted. To get this nightmare over i asked to use my credit card to pay. They advised me that they would not accept my credit card. They said that we would have to apply and use a Mavis credit card only. After declining this option they had my daughter sign up for FlexShopper financing. Didnt need it but it was the ONLY option they would allow. They sent an agreement to be signed which entailed a payback of 1347 dollars on a 535 dollar purchase. They list 807 dollars as a fee!! We had to make arrangements to pay with cash. WAS NOT signing their attempted larceny. I will NEVER purchase another tire from these thiefs. Next I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and NYS Dept of MV.

Service was excellent, tires were installed quickly and accurately. I asked for them to look at a couple other things and they did so without hesitation!

I can t even begin to express my gratitude to the exceptional staff at Mavis in Saratoga. They were so supportive and helpful in a time I greatly needed it as I was grieving. Despite their busy schedule, within a day they had me off and on and with a perfect job done. They took the time with me, heard me, and helped me plan for the best and most affordable decision. I needed new tires on my truck and had specific requirements since I tow my horses with it. Darcy and Cole went above and beyond. They price matched and were extremely helpful since my knowledge was limited. I went in for new breaks and was charged as such. Two weeks later I decided to trade in the car for a new one. The dealership I traded the car into, called to ask if I had the breaks changed. Apparently the breaks were not new and still needed to be replaced. Total scam warning.

Call the manager down Saratoga is very efficient. Person show me things that was wrong with my rim so I could understand better did a very well professional job.

Had a flat tire at 6 PM on a Thursday called them and they were able to get me in and out before they closed so I could get to work the next day. Staff were very nice and understanding of the situation as well as helped me out getting me a good set of tires.

Darcy was very helpful and informative when I had the misfortune of having a nail stuck in my tire. Unfortunately, it was in an unrepairable spot. I m from out of town and I needed to travel 4-5 hours back home. I m grateful for the two tires I was able to buy and the exceptional service everyone in the shop provided. They did everything needed, including going to another Mavis shop to get tires they had sold out of in theirs, to make sure the trip home was a safe one. Much thanks!

Great service I needed a new battery and they were professional and courteous. Also while I was there the manager was on the phone with another customer helping them with their service history. Good place to go.

Blake is the man, and I think the kind woman who helped me, her name may have been Desiree? Had a flat but turns out I had a bigger issue with removing my rims. They were both very apologetic, even though they tried their best to help. As a local business owner, I loved seeing that they were looking out for my best interest and safety. This place is fantastic!! I was in town having lunch with a friend and I got something in my tire. Two other business turned me down. However, with a full schedule and workers needed to go on lunch, Austin and Darcy worked their magic and fit me so I could get home safely. It was one of those Monday mornings when nothing was going right and I unexpectedly discovered a flat tire. Luckily I was in Saratoga and near Mavis. Darcy was so nice and knowledgeable and was able to help me with getting tires (which isnt easy to do for my car.) And she also explained about the tire sensor which no one had done before and after 5+ years, they fixed the tire light for me! I cant thank them enough and will be back!

Went for a tire balance towards the end of the day, completed the work quickly for a good price.

I brought my dual wheeled truck to have tires mounted and balanced. When in it was done it drove ok..Less than a week later the truck was shaking and I noticed the weights fell off the wheel. I brought it back and new weights were installed. The truck continued to shake and I just brought it to the ford dealership to be looked at. Turnes out all the wheel weighs were not even on the rears and the front tire had weights put on in a triangle pattern and cost me additional three hundred fifty dollars on top of the price to mount and balance

I love coming here! I had a huge ride ahead of me and Darcy was able to get me in right away for the oil change. Every time I am here I have nothing but great things to say. Helpful staff and quick service! So appreciated!
