DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They attempted to repair an Electrolux range/cooktop only to cause more damage than originally existed while concurrently damaging the counter top and floor. Same scheduling problems as others complaints: overscheduling and no show. 5 months in and I have a non functioning appliance, damaged property and a lot of wasted time. Dont believe their lies.

maytag set me up with the company they said they would call the night before...they did not the service came and he was good they needed 2 part said someone would call with an estimated time of part arrival that did not happen called maytag again the had the part...heard nothing from the A S called 2 weeks ago a couple of times 2nd time they gave me a date of today....they called at 7:55 and 7:58 the 2nd call gave me 10 to 15 minutes to respond i was in the shower..i called the 852-number at 8:04 called the 355-at 8:10 told too bad your too late in responding i was very mad and call them A holes not in the abbreviated form---this company can not be trusted i should not be upset? the machine has been broken for months...they also told me on one of the calls i should not contact maytag? why? why did they not contact me the night before as most reputable repairs do

Yes and No with this company. First visit.. Good. Second visit after taking apart my dryer Not so Good. Tech. did not completely check all the workings of the dryer.. Its the weekend now.. Good luck to me getting someone back here ASAP

I have a troublesome washing machine. They took their time and patience and worked on it until it was fully repaired which took time as parts were needed during the pandemic. I was very impressed

The tech was very annoyed to have to service my Lg dryer. Very angry while taking the dryer apart. Cursed the Lg brand. Sometime later I had to call for service and I was never contacted. Called at least 3 times and never received a call back. So I gather that they didn t want to come and service the dryer anymore. The least they could have done was to call back to say that they wouldn t service the Lg brand. They needent worry because I will never do business with them anymore!

I have had only the best experiences with The Appliance Specislist. The workers are polite, professional and efficient. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Just honest help. I highly recommend

Everything when smoothly and quickly .

Great experience. A professional service person accurately diagnosed problem with a Samsung refrigerator, offered an interim solution (overnight manual defrost), then came back with parts a week or so later and completed repair. All-in cost dramatically less than replacing the reefer. They are far better than Samsungs almost non-existent service.

Never returned my call.When I called back I was told they couldnt fix my washer for a month.

Edit, while I originally had a good experience with this company I now have to edit this review to reflect our most recent interaction. We scheduled an appt through Lowes to have our refrigerator serviced. A woman called and said they made an error and overscheduled and need to change our appt. My husband told her that was his only day off and was told they only have a date 2 weeks out take it or leave it. He explained this is his only day off and thats why we called ahead and scheduled for that day. She responded with I dont need your attitude, if you dont like it call Lowes and figure it out we wont be coming. She hung up on him with no other option. Professional, courteous, prompt. Confirmed appointments, explained repairs and stayed in touch. This was for a warranty repair but would hire this company for my own repairs as well.

Tried numerous times to get a refrigerator repaired but no luck with other companies the warranty company chose. These guys came and were polite, assessed the problem properly, and ordered a part. They were back in a day or two and fixed the ice maker, freezer, and thermostat. Recommend!

These two were professional, prompt and didn t over-sell . They were very honest.

I am now on my third ice maker over a period of several months, The last visit left me with leaking water tap next to the ice dispenser, Still leaking, Everyone has been very nice but I still have a problem

The owner of Appliance Soecialists came to effect a refrigerator the repair. He arrived on schedule and expertly and quickly repaired thevdefect. As a courtesy, he removed the ice maker and counselled me to retain it should I sell my house and the new owner wanted it, a small sale inducement. It was a small matter but showed me that the service call included a touch of kindness. I cant speak highly enough for the professionalism and humanity demonstrated by this family-owned business.

Would like to take this opportunity to give kudos to The Appliance Specialist. We had a problem with our Kitchenaide refrigerator. Called the dispatcher, who was very courteous and professional. Two mechanics came, as scheduled, troubleshot the problem and had to order parts. Upon return, installed parts and left. The ice maker problem appeared fixed but there was an ice build up in the back of the freezer along with humming noise from the fan. Called dispatcher and she said she would order a new ice maker and a thermistor. Mechanics came, installed parts and refrigerator is completely fixed. My entire experience wit this service company was extremely satisfying. The mechanics were very knowledgeable, thoroughly cleaned up after job and willingly answered any questions I had. Got my replacement dishwasher soap dispenser and now my machine is back to working properly. The websites diagrams are very helpful (as are the videos is you happen to have a broken part with a video associated with it, which this one was not)

This is a really good, fair, and experienced repair service. We have a Wolf dual fuel range that has required 2 repairs. Each repair was completed to our satisfaction. One was needed on Thanksgiving day! This was amazing and very much appreciated.

Used for LG Refrig under warranty. Techs showed up on time, were knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Of course, warranty work was performed at no charge.

I had received a very pricey estimate from another service provider. A friend recommended Appliance Specialist. They came, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and returned to put the part in. All in reasonable time and cost. Great technicians.

My refrigerator was not keeping proper temperature after replacing all the computer components it still did not work after calling in another company they figured out that the refrigerator door was never put on correctly by Lowe s and was not keeping a seal

Repaired icemaker in my rental unit. Service man was very professional and courteous. They had quoted me a price for the icemaker, but when it came in it was significantly less than the quote & they passed that savings on to me.I had already agreed to the price, they very easily could have charged me that original quote. I won t hesitate to use them again in the future, appreciate the honesty and professionalism.

Chris was just the person we needed. Saved us having to buy a new refrigerator with his repair service. While he was here he fixed our microwave light and our dishwasher. It s easy to refer him to others and we have! Thank you Appliance Specialist.

$2800 LG refrigerator died after 28 months. Tech noted on first visit that the problem was in an area that couldnt be repaired. Factory sealed. After hounding LG for weeks, they sent two compressors and other parts that were installed by The Appliance Specialist at LGs expense. Finally LG said that if the technician deemed it unrepairable, they would make good even though it was out of warranty. The Appliance Specialist tech got on the telephone at my house and told them that it was his opinion that it was not repairable on his first visit. After all was said and done, I was made whole because of the knowledge & honesty of The Appliance Specialists technician. I would utilize them anytime I have an appliance repair need.

Very quick to schedule someone. Technician was timely, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Dryer was fixed quickly. Have had no problems with the dryer since, and its been over three weeks since repair. Would use them again.

The repairmen were professional and worked to get resolution from Frigidaire. They were timely and explained everything of the repair. I would recommend them.

Saved the day for Thanksgiving when my oven crashed on Tuesday. They went above and beyond to work me in and get my oven up,and running on Wednesday night! Very accommodating and helpful phone staff as well. Highly recommend!

This family owned and run business is the real deal. They came promptly and took care of my problem with my stove at my farm and then did fan repair on my stove at home. They call when they are coming, show up on time, give real value and I will call them with any future problems. Wish they did computer repair!!

Repair techs were on time, professional and friendly. Answered my questions (in detail). They even gave me a few minutes after they finished the repair so I could vacuum behind the refrigerator before they put it back against the wall. Will definitely call them again if I need a repair.

I was provided with an appointment sooner than I expected. The technician was able to quickly determine the issue and communicated it to me and answered all my questions. Had to wait a week for a part to come in, but it was installed as soon as it came in. Very happy with the professionalism of the technician and the entire process. The Appliance Specialist technicians worked with me (and my budget) to fix my problematic stove. The receptions were always courteous with me on the phone and I did not have to toggle through various phone prompts before speaking to a representative; They actually answer the phone when I called.

Asked to repair a Samsung washing machine purchased new four years ago that keeps returning an unbalanced ub or ur code or shutting down mid cycle. Washer and floor were leveled prior to call. First repair job they installed new balancing rods that I had purchased. Done in several minutes. Did not diagnose test or verify that this solved the issue. It did not fix the problem and in fact made it worse. Called back a few days later for second repair which took a week and a half to schedule. Washer was not repaired. Their advice was that the floor is not level and I should build some kind of a structure around and under it. The floor is level. The washer is level. I have pictures that can verify this. This leaves a problem with the internal components of the washing machine itself. Which is why I called a repair professional. I have already tried placing the washer in various areas throughout the room and at varying height differentials. The same errors occur every single time. Anything more than a cursory look would have led to a more positive outcome. I have had washers in this room for 15 years and this issue started 3 months ago. The issue is not the room, it is the washing mschine. The washer is broken and it was not repaired properly. I paid over a hundred dollars for my washer to be fixed and it has been two months, and I am now doing my laundry at the laundromat down the street. Updated to say that I bought a new LG washing machine which is in the same spot, with no additional leveling or structures built around it. No codes or issues for three months. The Samsung was broken as I had stated.

They came on time as advertised and ordered our refrigerator doors and will be installing them within the next month. They also put my wife and I at ease.

We had a problem with our Samsung refrigerator and Samsung sent this outfit to determine if the issue would be covered under warranty. Technician (Steve), immediately upon nothing more than visual inspection, dianosed the problem as a bad solder joint on the dryer that had been eaten away by sulfur water. Not a warranty issue, but repairable to the tune of $368. I watched the entire repair procedure and noticed that the tech had trouble brazing the new dryer on and trouble pulling vacuum afterward. Needless to say, the fridge was only good for a few weeks before it lost its refrigerant charge and would no longer cool. I have a nice video of the refrigerant escaping. Technician came back out and rebrazed joint. Once again, fridge was good for a short period before the refrigerant escaped for a 3rd time. Technician came back out and this time startes from scratch and replaced the entire dryer assembly. Third times a charm, right? No luck. Refrigerant is dripping from the same joint. I have no confidence this company can resolve this issue and will be seeking a refund as we believe they unnecessarily cut into the sealed system and we are now forced to buy a new fridge.

Our ice maker froze up. The appliance specialist who came to diagnose and repair was very knowledgeable. He worked diligently and had the ice maker working in no time.

We had a non functioning ice maker. The men from Appliance Specialist arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and returned with the replacement part when they said they would. They have great notification of the upcoming appointment & same day call saying when they ll arrive. I will absolutely use them the next time I need help.

Technician quickly identified problem and ordered part. Once part came in, returned to install new part. On both trips he arrived at scheduled time and handled the job quickly. Very professional in appearance and mannerisms.

Do not use this company. We have been struggling to get them to do work on our machine under warranty for almost 2 months now. The technicians tell us they order the parts, then when we call the office they have no record of ordering the parts of what part we need, or even know which parts are supposed to be ordered. There is clearly a communication issue between the technicians and the office. They also take forever to call you back, take forever to schedule service. For example we were told our part would be in last Friday, well they called yesterday to tell us they d be here today, and then they didn t even have all of the parts that the technician said we needed last Tuesday. We have notes that we took while they were here and now they re telling us we are wrong.

They are very good. Sonny G and Ricky W were at me house and Sonny put a motor in my washing machine and Ricky put in ignitor in my over and they stay and made sure it work. They were very kind and friendly. I would called them again to do my appliance.

Made warranty repair apt week in advance. Day of repair came and I was again asked what model my washer was and that parts were not ordered. After 3 failed visits which comprised of incomplete parts and then wrong parts #s. Repair man was pleasant and flexible though.

We could not be happier with the service we received on our washer.The man came when he said he would, found that the part that needed replacement was no longer made, and after we figured out a possible workaround, returned with a part that completely fixed the problem for a very reasonable fee, so that we do not have to replace our washer. Had the compressor fail on my 4.5 year old LG French Door Refrigerator. After getting the appointment, Chris quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the compressor, and installed the new compressor 3 days later. Showed up on time, kept me informed of arrival status, repaired the problem the first time. What more could I want? Its obvious Chris has a lot of experience with this repair. The specialist you sent was fantastic but the service from the office was not.

Rick the service guy showed up exactly when he said he would and diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher. He had to order the part. He returned when he said he would and finished repairing the machine. Overall Rick did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone.

Came on time, fixed my fridge. Cant comment on price since it was all under warranty. They were set up to come by LG. But, staff was friendly and punctual.

The manager I spoke to was incredibly rude. I would not recommend this place due to the customer service I received. My appointment was cancelled with out notification. She did not try to fix the problem but dismissed and disrespected me.
