I thought the statement that: The team went above and beyond... would have been unique to our situation. Yet, I have read the exact words many times over in several reviews. Having battled with an outside Home Warranty Company since November 28th, please regards to washing machine repair, I made a final attempt to contact the corporate office is, in the United States, with bulleted details of my experience. Finally, as per my contract, (previously denied), I was given permission to seek an independent technician to, at the very least, diagnose the issue with a washing machine. A second In Search Of plea to F.B. reached my cousin, in Az. He knew the proper person, at Marcellas Appliances, to contact for guidance. Nine days later, we have a new washer and dryer ordered and set for delivered in one week!! With care and coordination, (working around a surgery schedule,) Shawn (sp) was sent to our home this week, diagnosing the issues in minutes. He explained our options and, as required, spoke to the executive officer at the warranty company. With kindness, skill, and professionalism, he was instrumental in reaching a favorable outcome. Two days later, Tom, in the sales department, easily understood our needs and concerns. While explaining both the pros and cons of our available choices, and without putting undue pressure on either option, he helped us finalize a sale. Not only for a new washer, but a matching dryer as well. And, once again, considerations for delivery were made as necessary post surgical complicated things a bit. I told him I would spare him the tears of appreciation. But they were right there at the surface. I simply cannot express adequate appreciation.

Good experience purchasing a dishwasher. I had done online research about various brands and features that I was interested in. Consumer reports highly rated a particular Bosch dishwasher, and the Marcella website indicated that they carried it. I walked into the store and within a few minutes, Chris assisted me. He showed me the Bosch model and answered questions about it. He also suggested that, since I was looking to spend in this particular price range, that I should consider Miele. Miele had a rebate deal going on, which made the price comparable to the Bosch. Miele is rated a bit better in terms of durability and they have an interesting feature called a power disk that dispenses the proper amount of detergent automatically. The disk lasts for about 20 cycles. I liked that dishwasher, too, but I didnt decide right away and there was no sales pressure applied. Chris printed out info on both the Bosch and Miele for me. I took these home and did a bit more online reading. I came back in a few days and purchased the Miele dishwasher, it was delivered in a couple weeks, hooked up and I have been very happy with its performance.

It took five weeks from our first call to them for the concern to finally be rectified. The original complain was the washer stopped working. . A tech came out a week later and decided the machine was not locking so it will not start. He ordered the part and scheduled to come back in one week. One week later, a different tech came back to replace the part. A few minutes later he came upstairs to tell us it was not the lock but the computer board. Another week to the day( every Tuesday) the second tech returned , installed the part, took it out, and reported the machine did not have the power to run. Nothing they could do, needed a new machine. Ordered a new machine, and a week later ( Tuesday again) they arrived to deliver it. The two men went downstairs came up and said it will not fit down the stairs. According to them dispatch told them to bring it back so they did not scratch it. They said some shelves had to come down to make room. Called the salesman to reschedule and was told call back after the shelves are down. Took them down, removed the door to the basement and they came back the next Tuesday. Washing machine is connected and working. Five weeks and no calls regarding the problems , no apologies for all the inconveniences. No one offered any compensation for the comedy of errors and the inconveniences.

I subscribed to Cons Reports to get new washer reviews, to buy one asap, and got so much data, but not a lot of true guidance- ie this one is great, or this one is pretty good but you have to be ok with x or y. The installers are great. Lots of practical knowledge on specifics or you install location. Arrive on time, fully capable and pleasant and professional. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Marcella s Appliance. The customer service is horrendous. After a frustrating interaction with the manager, who actually yelled at me and then hung up, I felt completely disrespected as a customer. When I posted an honest review on Facebook about my experience, the company blocked me instead of addressing the issues. I purchased a refrigerator from them, and the day it was delivered, it started beeping and malfunctioning. Since then, I have had numerous technicians visit my home, and even had the door replaced. Despite all this, two years later, I m still facing problems. Just two weeks ago, a technician came to address a low temperature issue and assured me that the freezer was fine for frozen fruits and microwaveable meals. However, today, another technician revealed that the fridge has been over 50 degrees and the freezer is completely nonfunctional. This has resulted in serious issues for my family, particularly for my daughter who is on Humira, causing ineffective doses from the fridge being higher temperature which have compromised her treatment. I would strongly advise anyone considering Marcella s Appliance to think twice before making a purchase. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable.

Our refrigerator died, so it was urgent but being an interior designer I m aware of what s out there so i narrowed it down to 3,4 and noticed the manufacturer was having a sale. I was referred to Marcella s, and Feidens both who I ve done Business with over the years. Marcella s was listed on line for less so I contacted them and got Chris. Chris informed me that it was a manufacturer sale and would end Friday and that they had one left of the exact style I wanted. This was Wednesday so I called my husband it s now 4:30 and he was at work 40 minutes away. Marcella s closes at 6:00. He left work early and we were arrived around 5:30. Chris was patient and answered all of our questions. Needless to say Chris worked late. We bought the refrigerator without any issue or pressure which in todays world speaks volumes. It s being delivered for FREE TOMORROW is Monday. I m very happy

I have been shopping with Marcella s Appliance Center for the past 15-20 years and always return. In current times, the internet allows us to check pricing, promotions, delivery costs, etc. and if a company is competitive in those categories, does it really matter where you shop? My answer is yes, if you know anything about Karen Hart, my favorite sales consultant at Marcella s. It s all about the service, good advice, and understanding the needs of the customer. She takes the time to understand your desires, is precise about important measurements, and clear about what you can expect from a product s performance. She and the company come through every time, and for me recently, once again, with the purchase of a new washer/dryer!

My experience at Marcella s was excellent. The salesman was very helpful.

No sales support post sale. Confirmed delivery time via text was between 3 PM and 6 PM. They showed up at 8:30 AM. This wasn t the drivers fault. The delivery men were excellent. Our Appliance was not properly balanced and when I called my sales rep to talk about it he said immediately that it was a customer service issue, and he took zero ownership. He did not even want to talk to me and when I spoke with customer service, they said this is par for the course with sales and apologized on his behalf. If you re looking for a place that doesn t support you after the sale and can only say, that s not my job , then Marcellas is the place for you.

I am very happy with my experience shopping with Marcella s Appliance in Clifton Park. I first looked on their website and found a sale and called. Johnathan helped answer all my questions and he emailed me the specs for the dishwasher I was interested in. Loved the price and the reviews I read for the model so I bought it. Delivery was easy to set up and very reasonable for installation and included removal of old dishwasher. It s the nicest dishwasher I ve ever had (Bosch 800 series) I love it! Definitely will continue shopping at Marcella s appliance.

Most recently, we bought a stove, microwave, and dishwasher from Marcellas. As always, Ryan excelled at every aspect of his job. We had an EXCELLENT experience purchasing a a refrigerator from Marcella s. Previously we had a few really bad experiences from Lowe s/HD and decided that to go with a local name for our next appliance. I wish we had done this SO much sooner. The customer service was excellent. When called to inquire about a refrigerator, and it turned out that my husband had measured ours wrong, and the salesman was able to help me confirm that by looking up the model of my current refrigerator. Thank goodness! He steered me in the right direction for our size needed. It was a seamless purchase, and delivery was exactly as expected. A day later one of our drawers was a little jammed and they sent somebody out to fix it right away. Excellent service and excellent communication. Will definitely be buying appliances from them from now on!!!

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher and had nothing but problems with it a few months after installing. Dealing directly with the manufacturer was extremely difficult. I wouldn t recommend Samsung products at all. Unfortunately I have a kitchen full of them and my gas range is now giving me issues after 1 1/2 years. They re running on their laurels. If it wasn t for Marcella s service dept and for Dan in sales helping us out and FINALLY getting Samsung to take this back we would have been in an endless repair loop. I ve used Marcella s for years and will continue to do so!

I remodeled my whole kitchen including cabinetry. I decided to get new appliances I bought a new refrigerator stove dishwasher microwave, and new washer and dryer. Marcella appliance stands behind their products that they sell and Sometimes things go wrong they deliver a product that has defects unbeknownst to them, but Marcella s makes a wrong a right so don t expect everything to go right every time that s a impossibility. So if you have a delivery and something goes wrong you can trust Marcella s to make it right.

After going to Lowes and being there for over an hour and not being able to get a dishwasher that day and had to put one on order and wasnt going to be able to get one for 3 weeks, we went to Marcellas and they had one on display and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes!

I went to the big box stores to get a new fridge and I couldn t find anyone to answer questions or take my order. I figured I would try out Marcella s, I was willing to pay a little more just to talk with someone competent to make sure I was ordering the right size and all that. I was in and out in 10mins and the delivery guys did a great job fitting it through our tiny doorway. It ended up being a few hundred bucks cheaper than the big box stores too. Def using them for all my appliances moving forward.

We bought a new dishwasher here. Nothing bad, but nothing special. We walked around on our own, found what we wanted - but had to search for it. The dishwashers are all over the place. Waited for someone to place our order, and left. The delivery and installation were over a week later, but everything went smoothly.

I needed an apartment size gas stove as soon as possible for a rental cottage. I texted the number on the website and within a few hours I purchased exactly what I needed and picked it up at their warehouse in Rotterdam. I purchased many appliances from them about 4 years ago and spent thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been very stressful to say the lease. I called and spoke with the salesperson (Rafael) asked if I can purchase the staking kit for my washer and dryer and let them install. After talking with him, we agree on the price and they said they will come and install it, but they unable to find my account/record. Call them 5 times and even stop by to bring my old receipt. They only care if you plan to spend on big ticket items, apparently my stacking kit isnt worth enough for the salesperson to earn their commission. I will take my business elsewhere. Customer support is none existence here.

First, the smooth & efficient sales transaction back in 2020 of the (made in USA) Speed Queen Professional front load washer was originated with fellow JHS alum, Mike Manno. Last week, the appliance was showing an error code so I called the service department. That helpful lady suggested I not panic and instead unplug the appliance for 20 minutes. She offered that the recent thunderstorm activity may have precipitated the issue. Sure enough, after I plugged it back in, the error message was gone and the appliance works magnificently once again. I cannot stress enough how important it is to buy appliances from a local dealer who has the capacity to service what they sell. Marcellas, Marcellas, Marcellas! I shudder to think what wouldve happened if I purchased this at one of the big box stores where they give you an 800 number to call and wish you good luck getting it fixed.

Have to say very disappointed with Marcella appliance center....not understanding a customer request... Explicitly in detail What we discussed ... And they went the other direction..(Stating its very unique) I qoute ((very poor excuse))... They did me a favor I will not do business with these people again...again marcella didnt come through if they had an ounce integrity this job wouldve of been accomplished..I will reiterate job was explaned thoroughly....should of been outsourced to compensate my dad...NO ACTION..! unprofessional towards the end of our conversation..

John Marcella is the best! I needed a refrigerator ASAP and he and his team delivered! I will be looking for a freezer very soon consider me a repeat customer!

After our 13 year old dryer died we went to Marcella s Clifton Park shop to look at replacement dryer and washer. We had done business with them several times in the past and always been satisfied. This time was no exception. The salesman was most helpful in explaining the different models and researched them as needed. We made our choices and delivery was scheduled for a week hence. Delivery, installation, and removal of the old units were done professionally. The techs were friendly and courteous. We can recommend them highly.

Disappointed. I agreed to use Marcellas based on my interior designers recommendation, and have come to regret it. We recently completed a custom houseboat that will be featured in publications across the country this fall. We spent over $10K in this one appliance order alone. The challenges with the delivery were many. The appliances almost didnt arrive from the warehouse in time before the boat left, even though they were purchased months before. When they arrived the delivery team left them uninstalled outside of the boat, and never converted them from natural gas to propane. My contractor was kind enough to install them and do the conversions himself, but it was extremely involved. All of the appliances had to come apart for the conversions. Not something any appliance store should anticipate the customer doing on their own. Now I have a situation where our stove is inoperable. No one from Marcellas wants to take ownership of the situation, or make any concession for the time my contractor spent completing the conversions. Weve received much better service from other stores, at considerably lower price points

Excellent experience! From our visit and selection of a new dishwasher to the excellent followup for appointment confirmation, delivery and installation. The installer was neat, professional and really very effective, arrived on time and wasted no movements in completing the replacement. I will absolutely do business there again!

Not impressed at all. Spoke with a salesperson before going to store, I knew exactly what I wanted to look at. Went to store, that salesperson was not there that day, greeted by a salesperson who took me to the fridge I inquired about. Immediately another salesperson comes over and whisks me away in attempt to sell me a $1700 LESS fridge, that was nowhere near quality of fridge I was willing to pay $4000 for!! Strange experience. Needless to say, I went to another appliance store, closer to my home and should have gone there to begin with and bought the fridge I WANTED, a stove and microwave and they have been delivered and look wonderful. $6000 well spent spent and I feel I was treated well at the other store. Why would any store attempt to sell a lesser item to a customer who clearly was going to spend more is beyond me .I guess if you want cheap go there

We ordered our appliances WELL in advance and even asked which would be available by a certain date before purchasing. Called two weeks before our anticipated move in date (the sales man was aware of that date) to make sure they were in. Got a confirmation that a 3 were in. The day before our delivery we got a call that they were NOT delivering because 1/3 (the dryer) was not in, after all. After telling them to at least deliver our fridge and washer because we were moving into our newly built home, they complied. All that was missing is our dryer (for an unknown reason). I called to confirm that delivery (because they don t reach out to you) and they stated 11:30-2:30 so I took the day off of work to meet them. Called at 2:40 because it hadn t arrived. Put on hold and then told they would be arriving in 15 minutes. Coincidentally, the store is 15 minutes from our home. Sales person was good, lots of options to see, but the delivery was awful. Delivery people did a good job when they finally got here. Unfortunate.

I had a great experience dealing with Derrick Powell and will be returning for more appliances in the future! He answered all of my questions and made the whole process of buying a washer and dryer set very smooth.

The team was amazing at helping out with finding the best dishwasher for our home that has hard water! The mechanic, Nick, was even early to install the dishwasher and was super thorough to make sure the appliance was secure in its place. He did an amazing job!! We will NEVER go back to a big box store to buy appliances. The customer service, install, and sales team were top notch! Really happy with the results. They kept us up to date with everything which was extremely helpful and very appreciated!!!

We had a wonderful experience shopping at Marcella s Appliance Center for our new kitchen stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Our sales consultant, Ryan, was excellent and very helpful. He was knowledgeable about each of the appliances that we were considering and explained in detail the advantages and differences of each model. Ryan s suggestions and advice made our selection process much easier and more effective. He made every effort to meet and exceed all our requests for the delivery and returned calls almost immediately if we had any questions. It was a pleasure to work with Ryan from start to finish, The Marcella installers were very professional and highly-skilled throughout the entire delivery process. Joe, Nick, and Brandon removed the old appliance and installed the new ones, making sure all operated properly. Joe took time to explain all operating aspects of the new range. Nick explained the unique features of the new dishwasher. We really appreciated how neat and clean our kitchen was after their installations and that the installers took time to explain not only the installation process but also how to use each appliance. We highly recommend Marcella s Appliance Center for any appliance purchase.

While traveling, we were able to order our new GE Sapphire washer and dryer over the phone with Andrews help. He walked us through the pros of the different models we asked about, walked us theough the ordering and delivery process and followed up once the transaction was completed. I would highly recommend Marcellas and their staff. They made the process easy, their pricing was competitive and their service was exceptional. 5 s all the way!

After checking out seemingly EVERY appliance business in the area, I went with Marcella s because of their friendly staff, great warranty terms and the fact that they had in-house delivery/installation people. It proved to be a great choice because the installers of my ovens had to deal with a few quirks of the cabinet and did a fine job. They even pointed out a dent that I didn t notice and Marcella s immediately ordered a replacement door (though I am still waiting for it to come).

Disappointed that my recently purchased speedqueen washer overflows with each use- this appears to be a problem with this manufacturer. Each use requires mopping up my hardwood floor, therefore I cannot use the machine unless I can be available to mop up at the end of each cycle. I have called Marcella s two times to request that they address this problem but have not yet heard back from them.

Buyer beware: They sell many items that are not in stock and are not even on the inventory at their Long Island distribution center! Shall we say bait and switch? And I had to actually go to the store to find out what was up with my order - never called me. After the runaround and excuses, I just cancelled it!

After a frustrating experience with GE Service directly, I dropped by to speak with the manager Tina in the Clifton Park store. Tina listened, took action and sent me Wayne, who was the utmost in repair professionalism. There were no promises made to me, only that they would do their best.
