I had an INCREDIBLE experience with 518 Collision. After my first accident, I was unsure of what to do, but they guided me through every step of the process, from handling insurance to getting my car back on the road. As a family-owned business, they genuinely prioritize their clients needs and kept me up to date through the entire process. They fought and advocated for me to my insurance company to not simply repair but replace my trunk to ensure I had the best quality parts in my car. They even redid my ceramic coating and it s looks better than when I first bought it off the lot! I highly recommend them for any auto body / paint work and will definitely turn to them again in the future. I have a Cadillac CTS 3.6L Performance. I had damaged the trunk and rear window. 518 Collision did an amazing job. I was very satisfied with the results. A month later I damaged my front bumper. I went back to 518 Collision. In less than a week my car was ready to be picked up. Once again they did an amazing job. My car looks brand new again. The service at this business is beyond exceptional! I honestly dont know where to begin! Despite my car looking like it was fresh off the lot once it was repaired, you can tell that this business really cares for their customers and they love what they do. I began to cry once I saw repairs that insurance would not cover. Now, if that is not going above and beyond, I dont know what it is! The minute you call the business, youre treated with respect. The minute you step into their place of business, youre treated like family. I am forever grateful to this company! Not to mention, they have the cutest kid making the coolest bracelets! So if you or anybody who has minor to major auto damage, this is where you need to go! Plain and simple!

Guy who owns it is a complete jerk, couple weeks ago called for an estimate said no availability if using insurance/third party warranty, come in next week wed-fri, called before heading over to confirm availability - guy calls me relentless and says theres other businesses on the list, will happily go elsewhere.

If your car gets hit; this is the place to go! Got into my first accident in 10 years of driving, someone tboned my Jeep pretty good and I had no clue what I was doing tbh. They made everything go super smooth and they took really great care of Roxanne (my Jeep) now it looks brand new again!

My pilot had an accident where the whole front bumper came off and I was initially unsure where I would bring my car. I planned to go to my dealerships body shop but I stopped at 518 first for a free estimate! The owner explained everything in as much detail as he could without taking my car apart. Him and his office staff walked me through the insurance process and really fought with the insurance to get certified Honda parts in my car! Very impressed from the beginning to the end and would recommend to everyone!

Kamal and his wife Max are amazing people. They did everything they could for me to keep costs down on an insurance claim (body work and paint job). They also worked around my schedule to get the car in. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and the car was completed on Friday. Not to mention the paint looks like glass. Kamal also offered to do a paint correction on a deep scratch which wasnt even part of what he painted - free of charge. I challenge you to find another place that would do that for anyone.you will not be disappointed if you take your car here.

I was rear ended only 2 months after buying a new car and used 518 Collision to fix the damage. In this environment with supply chain issues, there were difficulties getting some of the parts but Jeremiah was great in keeping me updated and following up with the dealer to try to keep things moving. Once the parts finally came in, my car looked like brand new and Jeremiah even sent an e-mail a few days later to confirm I was satisfied. They were very professional and I was very happy with both the customer service and repairs.

518 Collision repaired damage to my car during the holiday week for a very reasonable price. Additionally, the shop fixed two other small issues with my car without an extra charge, and they cleaned it up by vacuuming, demonstrating their willingness to go above and beyond!

I have lived in the area of Schenectady for many years and I would highly recommended 518Collison, here is why.. In Jan, I had a bumper to bumper accident and had gone to another body shop in the area for an estimate and had felt like the estimate was totally unreasonable extremely high. I felt like just a number. As were Jeremiah had made the entire experience very easy and professional like I was in the best of hands. Others might be somewhat weary of the small hometown shops, but let me tell you.. This gentleman and his employees had did an amazing job on the restoration of my vehicle. Jeremiah at 518 Collision is amazing! The hours of this shop are really convenient since they close at 6, unlike most places that close at 5. Jeremiah was really helpful in dealing with the insurance company. He was honest about a part that he couldnt find for me. He even offered a few suggestions on what to do about another unrelated issue that I was having and offered to look into the repair himself.
