I followed this crew from their previous location to here and here's why. Rick and crew have ALWAYS been honest, hardworking and just more amazing than words. They go above and beyond and ALWAYS look out for the best interests of the customer and their vehicle. Rick and crew have been my trusted mechanics for years. I can't say enough great things about them. On the rare instance I had an emergency and they couldn't get me in and I had to go elsewhere, I regretted it and was reminded why I stick with Rick. Quality, honesty, and trust are worth waiting for.
I have been to this location a few times and every time Rick has been very accommodating to get me in for an appointment. I have always been satisfied with the work performed, and never had any issues. . The staff is professional , knowledgeable, and very friendly. I would highly recommend this shop.
Service was great, the man who was at the desk was friendly and helpful! They got me in the day I asked.
I stopped in to get my car inspected. I was unaware that you had to schedule this so I ended up needing to come back another day. It is not unreasonable, especially as you get closer to the end of the month, but it was inconvenient. However, as always the staff at this location is efficient, I gave them a timeline to complete by the end of my work day and it was done well before then. Also, my car is geriatric, meaning some part is always needing to be replaced. I needed new brakes, they called to tell me, gave me the price point, and completed it as well even though I had signed up for was my inspection. All in all this is still the location and garage I will use for ease of use, efficient time frame to complete work, convenient Saturday hours when needed, and reasonable prices.
I drive out of my way to go to this location. Rick and his guys are friendly, honest, reasonable and reliable. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option.

First and foremost THE QUICKEST I ve been in and out of a tire shop since I ve been driving! Haha and that s over 20 years! And the customer service from scheduling the appointment over the phone to walking in the door where Rick greeted me right away made me feel welcomed! There s so many options in the capital region and I m just happy I lucked up coming here! Excellent customer service, fast, friendly and clean. They are willing to work with you and explain what they are doing and what they have done, to give you the best opportunity to make an educated decision on what to do with your vehicle. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get any work completed on their vehicle, they will not be disappointed.

Quick service, friendly workers, I love that this shop opens earlier than others because it really makes a difference on getting your day started and fixing your car without the inconvenience of taking your child late to school or being late to work. Very helpful and understanding. Kind staff throughout. Needed help with my car after the alternator died and they did it fine. Turns out they gave me a faulty one, so I went back and replaced it for free.

Called Friday since dealership doesnt perform the work I needed done on Saturdays and was told to bring my car in Saturday morning. When we arrived my car was taken in right away and they fixed the hanging engine shield issue in a timely manner. Not only was the service fast and professional but, cost effective as well. Highly recommend!!

I have been going to the State St location for a few years now and they have consistently been honest, reliable, and have competitive rates. They are always friendly, and educate me on the things they see on my vehicle. As a female, Ive experienced different garages try to upcharge or offer things I dont need. The guys here are very honest about what I should really do, vs what can wait a while, and I truly appreciate that! It is great to have a shop that I can trust.
Came in this morning to have my chevrolet prizm inspected, was greeted by Frank and his team who were very helpful and professional. They inspected my car quickly and I was out the door with a new inspection sticker in less than ten minutes. I highly recommend Frank and his team for great work and awesome customer service.
Speedy swap of winter tires. They have free Wi-Fi and coffee, although they use Styrofoam for cups - I suggest you bring your own mug. I also like that they have Spectrum news on the TV, so I can catch up on local news and avoid the shouting heads of the national cable news networks.
Great place to get work on car done. Staff is knowable and professional.

I had a valve stem leak because I had new tires put on by the dealer. The dealer charged for new valve stems but did not put them on my car. So I went to Adirondack Tire in Schenectady to get it fixed. Not only did they do it quick, they did it at NO CHARGE!! Thank you Adirondack Tire of Schenectady!

I came in for an inspection, I knew I also needed two new tires. It turned out I needed all four as well as some additional work (I wasnt surprised). Everyone was extremely nice and supportive. I was on a time crunch and they all jumped into action to be sure my car was completed in time for me, they even offered to drive me home and pick me up later if I needed to leave before it was completed. AND At no point did they try to do the dreaded sales pitch to try to get me to do more unnecessary work. I was however informed of more work that will need to be completed coming up, but they were honest that I could wait a little while if I decided to. I was genuinely pleased with my experience and happy I went there instead of any where else! Thanks a bunch!

The Schenectady location (the one in the middle of know where) is the absolute best. Dave is a stand up guy as well as his mechanic who really knows his sh!t. We will definitely be back and drive miles out of our way to go to this location.
My rental car had a screw in one of its tires. The rental company advised me to go this place. The service was outstanding, I had some fun with the guys over there and the coffee tasted good. The problem was fixed in no time. Thanks!
Friendly staff and close to home and reasonably priced
Avoid avoid avoid. Purchased a set of tires with a 60k warranty with road hazard warranty. When it came time to enact that warranty, they insisted the customer database was down. The they told me I never purchased tires at the shop ever, even though Ive purchased 3 sets here. Purchase tires online, Tirerack or eBay, and then have any other local shop install them.

I had a single tire to replace due to a sidewall bulge. They didnt have the exact tire, but found something similar and gave a nice discount on it. They were friendly and helpful, but took almost two hours before starting my 15 minute exchange - they asked me to hang with us for a bit, but I didnt realize what that really entailed. I advise calling about wait times before heading in if you are in a hurry.
sent me home with 4 out of 5 nuts on my tire and the other 4 are all loose can i give this place 0 stars
