This is an awesome shop. I was broke down a 1000 miles from home. They were kind enough to squeeze me in and get my car repaired so I could get back on the road. Wonderful service and the best and kindest receptionist in New York.
Andex is the only garage I bring my vehicles for repair. I"ve been going there for 15 years. They are honest and personable.
Best Auto Service hands down. These guys helped me out a lot the few times i’ve had to bring my car in. Had to bring my car in today due to something grazing on the bottom of my car and a check engine light i had. They fixed the loose clip that was grazing under my car, and they also fixed the check engine light for me at no cost. Highly recommend. The nicest and the realest people you’ll meet when it comes to taking care of your car.
they bill you for work that is never completed. recently got inspection done and everything was "good" went to Mavis for a check up. everything that I paid to get fixed was still broken. have tons of receipts to prove the work was paid for but apparently never done. qw switched to triniboys auto at least there you get honest work done for you. after 7 years with andex auto their fraudulent business practice they lost business from 4 members of my family. will never recommend them to anyone again.thes also do not stand by their promised warranties that the offer on work.
I passed by this summer to stop off and ask how much it would be to replace a fuse because my stereo wasn't working because the fuse went out the guy gets in the car and says to me how do you know it's a fuse and taps on my stereo and completely cracks the screen and breaks the entire thing.. asking me how do I know it's a fuse questioning me obviously because I'm a woman. Like I don't know my own car. He gets in and taps my stereo and then completely for real breaks it so it won't do me any good to change the fuse out now because I have to replace the entire stereo not the speakers thank God because the speakers are amazing but this guy ruined my stereo system and then says to me oh XYZ go over to the stereo place and then get it from them and then come back and bring it to me I'll put it in for you.... you broke my stereo. So I'm just letting everyone know what he did to me this past summer
Harry and his crew have been working on our cars for years. He has always taken care of my family. He is reasonable and honest and knowledgeble. I consider him a friend as well. I am very appreciative that he has always looked after my mom's vehicle when issues arise.
This business is NOW under new ownership as of the time I’m revising my review! (8/5/24) I used to have a negative review posted here because of the previous owner, Harry. Now, the business is genuine and ran how it should be!! The new owner is phenomenal. I’m so impressed by their honestly, workmanship, and fast service. This will be my go-to shop from here on out. I’m super impressed with the services I’ve received. Do not hesitate to get your car work done here!!

Harry and his team are the greatest I know of in Schenectady they did wonders to my car I had a radiator leak they fixed it all up my car runs lovely thanks to Andex and a lot of people mention that Nick has a attitude problem well you guys are so wrong about that ! Do NOT go to Andex Auto, came here as a new customer yesterday when i could of chosen any of the other shops in the area. Sure regret choosing this one, they told me yesterday to arrive at 8:30AM and did not even look at my car until past 3PM. They claimed i was good to go and the car was sounding better, the mechanic specifically said Everything sounds like its running normal to me i left and the car began over Revving while i was driving home so i brought the car back today to have whatever they did yesterday fixed and they just completely destroyed my transmission yet they claim to stand behind their work. I was already very upset after finding out what they did and when i voiced my opinion they yelled at me out front of the auto shop and told me to leave and never come back. Funny thing is, i d love to leave but i couldnt because they destroyed my transmission and denied responsibility for it and my car wouldnt move! Now im without a car and looking at a repair that will cost somewhere over $5,000. My brother is a mechanic and unfortunately lives in MA but after explaining what happened at this auto body he told me they obviously took my car apart to give me a quote on how much i d be looking at spending and did not properly put it back together which caused the transmission to seize. I am contacting the BBB immediately and filing a complaint, and i will be using every single resource i have to bring this auto body down for doing me and so many other customers wrong after we put our trust in them. AWFUL!!!

Came to them to check out a noise I heard under the hood. They were the only place near me open on Saturday, but there were good reviews here, so I tried them. They found the problem (bad alternator) and replaced it so it was ready that day. Price was quite reasonable for the job. Very happy with it.

I went there super anxious that my car repair would cost me a fortune because it wouldnt start at all. Everyone was super nice, they diagnosed my car in a timely manner, and I was able to drive it to work that same night. Im super grateful.

Had a flat and Harry found a nice tire for me at a great price. He was very busy yet still took time to help me out. This was on a Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. He took the time to clean the rim, used bead sealant and installed the tire on my rim. Very professional. He offers full car, SUV and truck service.

For your car needs its a good place
Harry is The Guy for your car troubles. He goes straight to detail on whatever issues your vehicles has at reasonable price quotes once he and his staff find the problem. Also, if anything arises from whats been fixed, which is rare, he will tweak it and work with you at no charge as long as you have your receipt. I have not had one defect on my 13-year old car since my last visit to the shop which was weeks ago. Bottom line, in almost all instances you can either go to this shop for full details of your car troubles at a reasonable quote and quality expertise, or you can settle for possible high price quotes and/or ripoffs from many other repair facilities...specifically dealerships; Id go with the former.

Shop in the same street I live in. Drove the car with a flat tire here. Tire wouldnt fill up. Didnt seem punctured or broken. When I came in he came out right away to help me. He took the tire out and it turned out the air pressure sensor was broken...$75 for the sensor $30 for labor for a 2008 Dodge Charger.I then did my research and found the sensor was cheaper online but, considering the circumstances of my bolts being damaged and him sitting there thirty minutes trying to get the tire out while it was cold, I guess is okay! I was able to make it to work on time that day and didnt have to pay a cab which wouldve been more expensive. He can be a lil rude but, hell get the job done in a decent time!
