I have had all the maintenance on my car done there in recent years, Justin Cole is a very good customer service rep there and he explained all of the items to be fixed before I agreed to the service. My car is 14 years old and I have never been broken down with it due to the thorough maintenance proved by Toyota.

I own a 2012 Toyota Rav-4 which I purchased at this dealership. This is the third car Ive bought there. The Rav-4 has over 240,000 miles on it. And l only go to this dealership for service. My service rep is Marinda Tingly whom l request every time. She is just wonderful having been blessed with a winsome personality, high intelligence and quite competent automotive knowledge. She knows the history of my vehicle, and works with the technicians to make sensible service recommendations. This last visit, the SUV needed work done on the fuel system, the transmission assembly and the front breaks. Marinda set me up with UBER rides so I didnt have to sit in the waiting room for the six hours it took to make the RAV-4 road ready. Aside from the above, l was due for an oil change, State inspection, wheel alignment and tire rotation. Marinda told me when to expect the car to be ready and kept me posted by text msg on how things were going. I went online to schedule a state inspection at Lia when my local mechanic was overbooked quick & efficient service at Lia; I got updates on my phone as I waited the upselling for additional services was kept to a minimum

Good things: Service Rep. Sarah Richard s was very pleasant, my car was taken when I got there, wait wasn t excessive, and she made helpful recommendations when done. Negative: They didn t wash my car as I had requested; and when I called Sarah for some clarification on a couple things I read on the paperwork after I got home, she began her response with as we discussed , like I was bothering her. I didn t appreciate that.

Went in early for an oil change. Art Palazzolo took care of me at the desk. He was pleasant and efficient. Told me I might have to wait until my scheduled time, which was what I expected. However, I was done within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment time, which was great! An asset to your company and this location!

Update 2 stars June 2024 If you can reach someone in the Service Department (I repeatedly called and counted 25 rings before hanging up and calling the sales department. Not once but many times.) to answer the phone, they are courteous and listen well. For me the challenge has been a lack of organization and it seems like perhaps a lack of communication within the company. The actual mechanics are competent and knowledgeable. The way the place is run... I dont remember it being like this in the past. Very difficult to know whats going on. So frustrating. Good luck Lia. Original post 4 stars: Kody was great at communicating the process and results of our cars service. He was clear about next steps, but was not pushy or sales-driven.

Lia Toyota of Colonie is a great place to get your vehicle serviced. The service area and waiting room are always kept clean and neat. The employees are friendly and nice to work with. They provide you a video of the work being performed and tell you the status of your tires, brakes, and under carriage. The stuff you dont see very well on a day to basis. If they find something that needs to be repaired. They explain it to guy and provide an estimate to repair. To make you visit even better, ask for Art Palazzola to be your Service Advisor. He is always smiling and a pleasure to work with.

This was my first annual NY State safety inspection since buying the car on 1/27/2023. My service advisor, Michael Richards, was very courteous and professional. My car was done when promised. Free refreshments provided in the showroom made the short wait a pleasant experience. On 6/10/24, I brought in my car for my 15000 mile service. My service advisor, Colby Klob, was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding my service and battery charging practices. My car was done when promised, and it took less than 1 hour.

Art Palazzolo did a very good job of taking care of me and my car. When he found that the needed part was not in stock, he arranged for Uber to take me home. Through no fault of his, the part did not arrive the next day as Toyota had promised. Art kept me informed and got my car finished early the following day.

Fast and friendly service on my Camry Hybrid

We recently had work done on our 13 year old Rav 4 at Lia Toyota. Our service advisor was Tim Ellis. He was knowledgeable and accommodating. Our vehicle had to remain at Lia overnight. Tim was prompt with updates on the progress of the work and pricing by reaching out to us by phone. I would not hesitate to deal with Tim in the future. We see him as an asset to Lia Toyota of Colonie NY

The service team lead by Tim Ellis was prompt, communicative, and competent. They fixed what I asked for on time. Their diagnosis identified a worn belt that could have been problematic. They provided details of their process throughout the day. The price to replace the serpentine belt was fair. Tim did a workable fix of gas flap at no charge. I thought the oil change price was a bit high. Tim was clear about all costs, no surprises, and he isnt the one who sets the prices. I was pleased with the overall experience.

I had good experience ordering a Toyota rav4 hybrid from Lia Toyota of Colonie with the help of Jenn colon she was very pleasant to work with. Jenn let me know every step of the way to to when the car was being built to when it will arrive best part I got my car two weeks before then expected. In addition- I recently encountered and situation where within 3 days of a service visit- I had a lug nut break! CHARGED ME 2 HOURS OF LABORat 170per hour to program a key.. and had my car for 2days... anyway leanann in service was fine.. after MANY attempts to speak with the SERVICE MANAGER .. HE LEGOT DODGED me and always had excuse as to why he could re-turn a call or speak with me when I was where for hours.. oh yes heard him tell staff he had payroll do.. dont forget u have a payroll to do because of ur customers.. start respecting them.. cant believe this place-service manager .. what a tool

Our local dealer Della Toyota in Plattsburgh was not so accommodating and made their own rules when it came to renting a Toyota. Della in Plattsburgh wouldnt allow the vehicle outside of NY or VT even though Toyota Rent a Car states that you can bring the vehicle anywhere but Mexico. Kudos to Lia Toyota. Service sucks here. Been sitting here waiting for my car to be inspected for almost 2 hrs (was told on phone its take 30 min). Instead of being human, and walking out to alert me it had failed i was emailed and apparently was supposed to accept or decline service for work to be done so itd pass inspection. Had no idea id been emailed and had to accept/decline work. When i asked what was taking so long and that I wanted my car back i got a hold on, im very busy. We are all busy. Ive already missed my obligation after this. I get it. It Saturday, but aside from buying Toyotas, ill never return here. Thank God these cars dont break down much. Oh... and currently still sitting and waiting in one of the most uncomfortable chairs ever with this same fly buzzing around me as it has for the past almost 2 hrs.

Just had great fast service and Art was friendly and informative!

My visit to Lia Toyota was a great experience. Michael Richards was very helpful during my stay. I was there for about 10 minutes and Michael was very informative of what the rust survey was all about.

Chris got my cars brakes checked and had it back to me within an hour, as promised.

I needed a tire looked at they took me in on short notice and were able to service the car quickly replace a sensor and sone basic maintenance plus oil change while I went in for a flat tire. Art Palazzolo was great stayed in contact throughout the stay. I was very satisfied with the appointment and service.

Came here to browse - I wasnt firmly in the market for a vehicle, but ultimately after 3 days I left with a new SUV! The service advisor, Sarah Richards, was excellent. When she informed me of the cost of replacing a tire and a rim ($900) via the dealer, I was astounded, incredulous and offended. She worked with me to bypass the Toyota dealer for the purchase of the tire and rim (saving me about $650) and bringing it to the dealer for subsequent mounting and alignment.

Trustworthy place

Thank you to my service advisor, Nicholas Mucha, at Lia Toyota for helping me with my Tundra repair under warranty. It was an involved repair and took some time to get the parts in, and for the tech to complete the work. I am glad it was under warranty! The fact that he has mechanical knowledge adds to his repertoire as an advisor. Lia is lucky to him on their team, and he is probably the best advisor I have dealt with at that dealership since I started getting my vehicle serviced there. This is the way!

Excellent service as always with Nicholas Muchas . During my Rav 4 inspection he noticed and headed off to problems that needed replacement and repair.
