After going to several different mechanics in the area to service my daughter s Infiniti, I finally got referred to Mcgregor s Auto. They were the only shop that was able to diagnose and fix the problem with her Infiniti. Both Vinny and Larry were super nice to deal with and very patient listeners as I told them the history of this car and our total frustration with dealing with other repair shops and pricing was beyond fair for the work they did. My daughter will now take her car to Mcgregors for all repairs.

My name is Douglas Im retired military personnel from a Gold Star family I say that to let you know the seriousness of this review My truck was at Leah Kia Dodge Chrysler for almost 3 weeks they promised me and promised me and promised me they would fix it they could not they werent capable I had my truck towed down to McGregor Auto non-functioning from the dealership The owner of McGregor looked at my vehicle got back to me in a couple hours with a quote and within 48 hours back in my vehicle driving it Yes the cost was substantial but it was still way better financially and the cost much more palatable than it would have been at the dealership The main crux of this review is that The people at McGregor are serious theyre all about taking care of their customers and I felt as though I really was in good hands with mature mechanics and mature adults when I dealt with these people at McGregor unlike the poor service I received at the dealership Leah Kia Dodge on Central avenue I would recommend McGregors for any of your auto services they are serious business understanding of your time individuals My name is Douglas and I own a 2016 Dodge ram

Dropped my car off for a diagnostic test...just needed to know what was wrong with it...eventually got a $1500 estimate, once I told him I wouldn t need his services he claims to have changed my oil which I would have to pay $88 for. I ve been dealing with cars on my own for a while I have never had a mechanic perform a service on my car that I did not request or approve. Once I picked my car up and had a second opinion the codes I was given were completely different and was informed my oil was never changed. SMH How deplorable to take advantage of people trying to survive a pandemic!

Vinny was amazing! I called to make the appointment for him to check out my car, I thought it was the blower motor going (per another repair chain), and he took great care of my car and for WAY cheaper than the other repair places do. He tried to diagnose my problem over the phone and then checked and double checked the issue until he solved the problem. I will continue to give them my business for years to come!

These guys were awesome! Vinny, was really nice and took the time to explain to me what was actually wrong with my car. After my absolutely horrific experience I had at Midas, I was a little nervous to go to the mechanic again, but these guys were nothing short of amazing! It was in early July and they had so many cars to look at and they had mine done the next day and they found the actual source of the problem and fixed it. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Left with 2 flat tires after beads cleaned and one patched. 2 days later called told them they wont take air. Mind you Im on Balltown rd. Temps below freezing. Instead of saying bring car down while you can. I was told to try again and this was a Monday and he says come Thursday Really!!!!!. Mind you I found out it costs at 3 shops to clean beads and patch 2 tires is only 39.00 tax included! I was charged 95.00 !! Used to love this place! Leaving a customer literally out in the cold with excuses. WOW! He used to care!

I took a 2006 Camry to Vinnie at MacGregor believing that the engine was going to need to be replaced based on a quick assessment from a friend. I had heard positive comments about the garage and this was my first time at MacGregor. Check-in was very easy and quick. After Vinnie looked it over he gave me the great news that it would only need a new water pump. Vinnie was such a pleasure to work with that I asked him to include a number of other repairs that had been delayed until we came through the engine work. He kept me updated on the work and delivered as promised. The car came back in like new condition and I could not be happier with the work. MacGregor is an outstanding shop with true professionals that provide the highest quality service. They lived up to their reputation and I can confidently recommend them for all automotive repairs.

McGregor has been my trusted car/truck repair shop for over 7 years. My bills at McGregor have been much less than repair shops I have used before. And they can fix anything on my six vehicles, even electrical problems. My major repair items at McGregor have included: head gaskets, water pump, transmission cooler lines, brake lines, transmission, engine sensors or solenoids, wheel bearing hubs, steering control arms, electric fuel pump, gas tank filler neck, drive belt and tensioner, wiper motor and many electrical components. Brake jobs are the lowest price anywhere. Before McGregor, the costs of repairs often forced me to trade vehicles earlier, now I keep them much longer and I can skip buying extended warranties. My one truck vehicle is 21 years old and going strong thanks to McGregor.

I have been a customer for at least 15 years. I dont trust anyone else to work on my vehicles. They are always fair and work quickly to get you back on the road.

What a nightmare. Dropped this car off for several minor repairs on a Thursday. Did not get a response until Friday before closing. The mechanic attempted to get some repairs done and would call me by closing time. He never did. On Saturday I got another call stating the repairs would not be ready until Monday. On Monday, five days after dropping off the car, the repairs were done. It cost $700 dollars and didnt even fix the initial problem I wanted addressed. Now I am waiting for them to clear a check engine light that they never reset. It has taken them twenty minutes and counting to address this (its a 30 second task) and Im now late for work. Maybe I just got unlucky, but from my experience I am definitely avoiding this auto shop in the future.

Took my car in immediately to patch a tire. They were extremely friendly and flexible.

I brought my car in for one issue, and while working on it, they alerted me several others. I gave them the OK to take care of all issues, but a couple of months later, I brought the car in for a new issue, and again - while working on it - they alerted me to additional issues discovered, and... you guessed it... one of them was among the issues they previously claimed to have discovered and fixed.

Their prices are very reasonable and their level of service is unmatched. They went above and beyond to make sure that my car was safe, and squeezed me in to get it done before I went on vacation. They explained to me exactly what they did and what it needed as well as what they recommend I should do in the future. They have definitely gained a customer for life!

I have nothing but great experiences with this place, just great honest people in general. My first experience was during a snow storm when my tire blew on the road in front of their business and they offered to let me change it inside their facility to keep me out of the weather. That first great experience is was brought me there for my second visit. I just needed something very basic done to my jeep and other shops werent interested because there wasnt a huge profit to be made. These guys are more than fair and its the type of place I would be happy to recommend my friends or family to visit if they were local. This goes beyond good service, its good humans and good karma.
