These guys are great - reasonably priced, friendly, and knowledgeable. As a woman, it's one place I can go to and not feel taken advantage of. I've been taking my cars there for over 5 years. The staff in the store are also friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this business.

Incredible service that is honest and fair and the people who run the shop are very nice, they did my brakes and some other maintenance and I was extremely happy with the service, communication level was amazing and they were fast. They have earned 100% of my future business

I am thoroughly impressed with Nott Street auto repair. I've taken my vehicle there a few times. The most recent visit was for my vehicle miss fire. I had to take it back on Friday due to the problem continuing. The shop was unexpectedly closed that day, so I was going to have to wait until Monday. Oh well, I thought. They surprised me by coming in before a long weekend vacation, just to repair my vehicle. I was very impressed by their work ethic. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else.

I've been going to Nott Street Auto since 2017 and Henry is far and away the best mechanic I've ever encountered. He's honest, prompt, clear, expert, and reasonably prices everything. The only challenge is that because of this, he's often booked well in advance and so you need to call a few days early to see if he has availability. Also be aware that Henry does maintenance, not cosmetic repairs (I learned this after a minor collision).

We have been taking our cars here for years. They are always pleasant and professional, but most importantly HONEST! As a woman, I appreciate that they never "talk down" to me. I cannot recommend Nott Street Auto ENOUGH!!

I've taken 2 vehicles in so far, 2 or 3 times each - based on my brother's recommendation. Prices have been around industry standard, which is ok. What I like is they've identified the issues and fixed them without pushing anything extra. They use Napa for parts which I feel are usually much better than what the other retail parts stores offer. (Eg, Napa oil filters are made by WIX, A HREAT PRODUCT). More pricey but worth the investment. And especially important, the work has been done when they said it would. National muffler and brake shops have corporate pressure to sell you up, over load theIR mechanics so work gets big delays, and even charge for work that doesn't get done at all, or done wrong. They might have good employees but that. Corporate pressure means more risk. At Nott St they've identified issues and advised it's beyond their skill set, or that they don't have time right away, if that's the case. Being local means no pressure from above, which so far has meant a good, accurate experience, and I've been pleased with the cars' performance, handling, quiet, etc when they are done.

New to car ownership and covid does not make things simpler. The owner? I guess didn't easily get communicate with me about appointments and such. Also when they put on new tires so my Civic could pass inspection, they inflated one to 22 psi instead of the target 30. Relatively fast and friendly though.

Over the last month I brought 3 older cars to this place for repairs. Some of the jobs were easy and the last job was very difficult. Their prices are very low compared to other shops and the quality of work is exceptional. One thing that really stood out was when I asked Henry to replace the brakes pads and rotors on one of the cars. He called me back and said that I didn't need the pads because there was some padding left. Most shops would upsell you and try to get more work done than needed, but Henry was honest with me. He always kept me in the loop throughout the process and calls to ask before doing anything. The turn around time is quick without the sacrificing the quality and you can tell he really cares about his work.
