I'm very pleased with Energy Saver Solutions who replaced my water heater as well as installed a heat pump. Their technician Sean was good about informing what he would be doing (eg. drilling holes etc) .His work span across 2 days and was very neat and he covered all the wires,which I appreciated. Sean was also responsive and took time to explain stuff before and after the job was done. He was great too ensuring the work was getting done systematically and was in touch with the technician during the installation. I had multiple bids and Energy Saver Solutions was the most competitive without compromising quality. I've finished week 1 at our new home and heating and cooling is great so far :)
It has been a really long time since my air ducts were cleaned. Energy Saver Solutions with Mike and Sean was great. I had a time constraint and they were efficient and professional and friendly and did a great job, thank you! Also, recently, I was out of town and had someone staying at my house when the thermostat quit. they quickly found a way to come and install a new one so there was barely a break in heating my house.
A great honest company with professional values and solid skills. Energy Saver Solutions came out right away to fix my gas fireplace that other companies had claimed "needed to be replaced". They are working me in to repair my furnace as well and seem on top of the order. They were on time and very friendly.
I just closed a house in Newcastle and didn't think the pre-owner paid much attention to its air duct and dryer cleaning, cause it was so dirty even by my bare eyes. Energy Saver Solutions ranks top in the list and the appointment is very easy to do online. Mike was sharp on time, diligent, detailed and has done an excellent job on cleaning my air duct and dryer vent. I also ordered sanitation, but Mike said it was no necessary and saved me bucks. All in all, I would definitely recommend Energy Saver Solutions to someone else similar to my situation.
Great customer service! We noticed a problem with our Fujitsu ductless heating system a year after installation and Ben came right out to diagnose and fix it, all under the very generous warranty. He also installed a little wireless device that lets us program custom heating timing for our bedroom - all from our smartphones. Everything is working well, the house feels great and we're saving a ton of money with the ductless system compared to our old baseboard heating. Thanks Energy Saver Solutions!
It's been several months since Energy Saver Solutions installed a new furnace in our home. Energy Saver Solutions was great to work with, and that furnace is purring like a kitten! With their bid, they offered a complimentary duct cleaning, as well as a service contract - a great value overall. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous. They came back to make an adjustment later, no questions or hassle. I feel like they do not take their customers for granted, and stand behind their work. I highly recommend Energy Saver Solutions!
I rarely give five star review but I feel that this business earned it. Ben at the call center went above and beyond to assist me with my furnace issues and Mike was prompt and fastidious with the maintenance check. My realtor recommended them to me after he had four different HVAC companies come out and take a look at his furnace. None of them could figure out what was wrong and recommended replacing the furnace. Energy Saver Solutions was the only one who figured out that the filter was too thick and was constricting the air flow so that the furnace kept shutting off. They are honest and reliable. I can't ask for more than that.
I'm really glad I called Energy Saver Solutions for service on my furnace. We had another company come out and clean our ducts and they quoted me a price for maintenance that was OUTLANDISH! That's when I decided to call Energy Saver Solutions, my home-town, local company for reliable and honest service. I received reminder phone calls, and a courtesy email to notify me the crew was on its way. The technician was professional and very helpful; in no way did I feel pressured to buy something that I didn't need (unlike the other guys). I will keep Energy Saver Solutions phone number handy and close by for future needs.
Energy Saver Solutions has been doing service work for us for 8 years and have always been knowledgeable, clean working, and ALWAYS asks if we have any other questions or issues. They are FIVE star in our book.
By far the best HVAC outfit weve worked with. Ben quickly identified the faulty part creating an intermittent problem within one of our three furnaces. I asked if it made sense to replace that part in a second furnace, before it similarly broke, and he said No, probably itll never break. So, he talked us out of spending more money. He also noted two big useless mechanical blockages obstructing airflow and removed them (no extra charge). That alone made our heating more responsive and cheaper. Other HVAC people had similar access and never suggested it.
Professional, on-time, and most importantly didnt do unnecessary service! After a walk through, it was determined that we didnt really need the air duct cleaning. We will definitely think of Energy Saved Solutions for our future needs.
Professional and courteous, I had to unfortunately cancel my appt. at last min., due to medical reasons. Sean was awesome. Very responsive and quick to get back to me even after normal working hours and on the weekend. After getting a few quotes we were skeptical because his price was so much better than everyone elses. It seemed too good to be true. We decided to roll the dice and go for it anyway and he came and installed it that week! Everything is working perfectly and done very professionally! Would highly recommend Energy Saver Solutions!

Sean and crew did an excellent job of demolishing the old baseboard system and installing a premium Mitsubishi 5-zoned heat pump system. Their pricing was fair. Everyone on the crew was friendly and hardworking. I hated seeing Energy Savers Solutions go!!

Did not say up front what cost of estimate was or if there even was one. The guy who did the estimate said they could put that into the final cost of the job (it was like $275, not a big deal to me, if they had said something) which was fine with me despite them not telling me the cost of the estimate. I got a call immediately after expecting to talk about the job but Doug Bergen just starts yelling at me about not paying for the estimate. Talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. Totally rude, short-tempered, childish, and unprofessional. If youre going to be in this line of work, act like a professional and a grown up not a baby throwing a tantrum over an estimate within five minutes after giving the estimate. What a psycho!

We used Doug several times over the years. We were always happy with the price and quality we received. The last time we used them however was different. We got a quote from Doug, which we accepted. When his guys did the work, they did not do everything per the quote. I paid them because we had to go to a funeral out of town. When we got back, I called Doug. He said we would be getting a $300 refund for the work that wasnt done and to expect the check in a week. Two months and two phone calls (messages, that were never returned) later; no check. Draw your own conclusion on the integrity of this business. Update: March 2, 2020, We heard from Doug after seven months. We got the check for $300 and a letter saying that he had a family emergency and was very sorry. I rerated the company back to the 5 stars it had always been. As an aside, to have simply changed the companys voice mail message could have avoided much aggravation.
Doug is one of the most stand up guys i know. He takes his business very seriously and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He came out just days before the holidays to make sure our chimney was safe for use for the holidays! Thanks again Doug
