I brought my GMC Canyon for routine oil change. Everything went smoothly.

Went in for an Oil Change and was done in a timely manner.

Took 3hrs to program a key fob that I was told would take an hour The side rails and lots were covered with snow and ice to the degree that I wouldnt do out yo look at a new truck like the one I have. They did charge me only $56.00 for the fob

Capitaland was good to work with when I was truck shopping. They eventually agreed to change the off road mud tires for all season highway tires and that cinched the deal for me.. Also included were running boards and Ziebart rust proofing.. The Z31 off road suspension runs nice. Like the firm ride. Service department is good to work with. Quite helpful.

Friendly annd high quality service but wait time is inconsistent. Had appointment at 11 for simple oil change, arrived on time, truck didn t enter garage until after 12, didn t get out of there until 1245. Almost 2 hours for a scheduled oil change is too long.

5 stars to Scott on our recent purchase of a beautiful red 3500 diesel SLT! When I found the truck on GMC online, it was in-transit going to Capitaland. I called Scott and he asked for some photos of my truck, over maybe 2 days he gave me purchase & trade prices and said he would call when the truck arrives. When we arrived to see it, it was ready for a test drive, super hot out so a/c running, seat coolers on . We both drove and checked out the lights, mirrors, dash etc., returned to Capitaland to purchase our first diesel truck! In a very short time we moved our belongings, the plates were transferred, did the paperwork which was already completely filled out, even a new registration sticker (not temporary) and insurance card! Great transaction! This is our second really good experience with Scott at Capitaland. Thanks Scott!

Service department took of the oil and tire rotation the same day.

I was in need of a new vehicle to safely carry my baby and found a nice one at Capitaland. Al, Scott, and Kerri made the buying process low stress and enjoyable. Im sure I will be working with them again in the future!

Everybody was friendly as usual, but it took over three hours for an oil change and NYS inspection. My paperwork also states I was to get a tire rotation. For the last week or so, my right rear tire has been reading 6 or 8 psi lower than the other three, and when I got home and checked, the right rear tire was still reading the same amount below the others, so I imagine it did not get rotated. I had an 8:30 appointment and finished up a few minutes after 11:30.

Capitaland Motors is a great place to buy a car. My whole experience took less than 1 hour and I was able to pick up my new Acadia the very next morning. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a painless way to buy a car!!

This is our second Terrain from this dealership. Both times they made it happen the same day! Both times I got a fair price for my trade-in. I cannot say enough about Josh! Everything was perfect.

I took my 2012 Canyon to have a new windshield wiper motor installed. Since day one the blades have made a glass scratching sound. I took my truck in to address this issue and was told I needed new wiper arms and I would be called when they came in. I called about 2 weeks later as I had not heard the them. The person who answered sounded like he didn t know anything about the order. He then told me that I would be called when they did come in. Today is 4/18/24 and still no word??? Personally I don t think that is the issue of why the blades are scraping my windshield, I think they just need an adjustment. ALSO the day I went in to get the new windshield wiper motor, I told them my heat shield was rattling and it needed to be tightened. Instead of tightening it, they took it off! And told me that ai didn t need it???? It was there for a reason! They didn t tell me that they were going to take it off before hand, I would have said, No! Reattach it! SO, since I left the dealership, see their records for replaced windshield wiper motor, my windshield wiper blades Still make the loud scratching noise, I have not been called about the possible arm replacement, I was told they were worn out, and my truck Still rattles from the heat shied being removed because whatever was also attached now sounds loose, AND now my exhaust system, right after the plate removal, is very loud- why??? I have bought two trucks from CapitalLand, a 2004 and my current 2012. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! I never had this poor service previously! Now I am considering buying a new truck, I would be considering Capital Land but now, NO! I am very angry about my truck! I have always taken good care of it! Let s see if you even read the comments you ask for and whether or not my truck exhaust sound is taken care of, from the removal of my heat shield and the windshield blades scratching sound. I can NOT even give one star, I am so angry! I had to post one star to get this to publish

Terrible service department. Wrongfully installed a factory accessory. 1 1/2 hour plug in job turned into a 8 hour job. Acknowledge they didnt know what they were doing. Two days later acessory was not working along with additional electrical problems. Two days after that electrical engine lights turn on. This also lead for it to need a new injector thats in back order. They broke it and had for over a month and half. SUV is 2023 Yukon with 8,000 miles which we pay at car note on. We have not had solutions to our problem. Ive asked to speak to a manager I get the run around. Everytime Ive called this service department. It takes multiple transfers or myself to call back several times just to speak to someone. There is zero customer service at the service department. They dont know what they are doing and dont hold anyone accountable. Ive had to make a claim with cooperate and still am waiting for 75,000 vehicle that I purchased from to be fixed. Joshua in sales has been the only person who has helped with this entire process. He at least got me vehicle loaner. It definitely is not the size of my new Yukon im paying for monthly while it sits at the dealership . But at least it drives

Had oil change and lube,tires rotated on my 2021HD land yacht ,everything was fine until mechanic got back into my truck with his oiley hand and work shoes ,scuff marks on my white rocker panel, grease on my steering wheel, shifter door handles inside and out, I changed Dealers for same reason,dont know what these people drive or maybe thier on the Bus run ,but to be disrespectful wont be tolerated

Unsatisfied with Denali service

Brought my truck in for its first service. While everyone was nice the tire pressure s were not readjusted after rotation, service reminder was not reset, and other fluids were not topped off as per GMC.

I brought my Chevrolet diesel truck to get the check engine light turned off. Upon picking it up they said they couldnt fix it. Now the dashboard display said engine will shut down in 100 MI. The owner refused to fix this problem told me it was not his truck. I have a video of this not sure how to post it. I had to pay $1,100 to get it reprogrammed. Thanks a lot guy in the front office with all the glass........... I read your response Mr owner. A 5-year-old could have opened the hood and said this is not a Chevrolet ignition system. You attempted to work on the 2500 LTZ and deactivated my computer so that my engine would shut down after 100 miles. You refused to put it back to what it was when I brought it in. You refunded my $89. And said its not my truck get out of here or I will call the police. Im the wrong guy to mess with dude Im telling you the truth and you cost me $1,100..... sure you offered to do that for $3,500 I wouldnt bring a roller skate to your dealership not only can you not work on diesel engines but your attitude is horrible.... yes it certainly was 2 1/2 years ago, you were going to call the police, so you successfully intimidated me at the time. I am retired now and I dont forget

I hate to buy cars! I shopped many dealerships before I ended up at Capitaland for the Acadia that I bought. The experience there was superior. It was clear from the beginning that my salesperson, Ronnie, was making sure to stay in the budget that I gave him. He was not pushy and made the whole experience easy and quick. After I picked up the car, I noticed a noise that needed to be looked at. The service manager, Brian, got me right in the next day and made sure that I was well taken care of. My recent experience with GMC service was a result of a water pump failure. First, great service through the roadside emergency services. They were prompt and professional in towing my disabled Sierra to the dealer (twice). The repairs were covered under the warranty, which was good. Not so good was the inability to provide me a loner vehicle during the nearly two weeks involved in the repair; nor the need to have a second tow back to the shop when there was a serious leak and overheating due to a unsecured hose connection. The final repair is working well. I just wish the process and the first repair attempt had been better.

Great service and kind people! I was on a road trip from Wisconsin and had an issue with a tire. I was able to get it in and checked out right away. Very happy with my new car however, I am not pleased with the service I received while buying my new car. The day I picked it up which was about a week ago; I was not shown anything in the vehicle, not how to work it nothing. I went from a Honda to a GMC completely different set up and he couldn t even take 5 mins to show me the new features with my car. He basically threw me in the car and said thanks bye! They didn t even have a black license plate cover so they sent me away with no cover and no key rings so I took my old one and kept that! The car wasn t cleaned that well. He said he ran it through the car wash quick, I expected more than just running it through the car wash the tires looked dirty and mind you this car is brand new so it shouldn t have looked like that. Definitely will not be a returning customer to them.

This was my first service on my new 2021 1500 where they are supposed to ck out and service your vehicle . They did not rotate tires as required and the service manager never reviewed any of the service and they never filled any of the fluids .Kayla and rhe team where the best what ever happened to having people behind the counter who cared

Truck has been at the dealership for 4 months! Mold had been diagnosed within the truck cab in mid April from a leak from the rear window. New window ordered and that s where everything stopped. No one knew how to proceed and truck sat. I contacted GM customer service and they are one step above useless. Should have gone to NYS Attorney General. Window was removed but took almost 2 months to install new one. Meanwhile truck was left outside without rear window, windows down and keys left inside until I caught the issue and called it to their attention. It is now late August and they are still trying to get parts to replace the alleged stinky ones. Had I not gone to the dealership everyday for updates and or action, I would never had know updates. SM does not return phone calls! Altogether a total nightmare!!!
