Although it’s hard to find someone to help you, twice I have found an awesome staff named Craig. The first time he helped us with the items on our list and encouraged me to set up a card that gave me 5% off every time you shop. The second time took the cake!!! I went in for a bathroom vanity and a drain plug. He got the vanity for me in a flatbed, showed me the drain plug and waited until I picked it out. He then cashed me out. After that he took the vanity and loaded it in my car. This guy deserves a raise. His customer service was A+. Which I rarely see at Lowe’s. Thanks Craig, I appreciate you. Ginny
I am beyond frustrated with the absolute disaster Lowe's created during a simple fridge delivery. We specifically requested that the old fridge in the unit be placed on the front porch downstairs—a clear, straightforward instruction. Somehow, Lowe's failed to communicate this to the delivery team, and instead of leaving the old fridge, they hauled away a brand-new fridge that was only TWO MONTHS OLD! This debacle happened during a delivery on March 8. To make matters worse, Lowe's is now refusing to refund us for the fridge they wrongfully took, including the 3-year warranty we purchased with it. How is it acceptable to take someone else's property due to your mistake and then refuse to make it right? I called customer service to demand a full refund for the fridge, and after being bounced around, I finally spoke with a customer service manager named Tamia. Her solution? Offering 20% off the purchase—a complete joke considering Lowe's basically stole the fridge and is offering a fraction of its value for their massive screw-up. We've spent hours on the phone, only to be met with a complete lack of accountability and no resolution in sight. This is theft, plain and simple, and their refusal to reimburse us is outrageous. If you value your time, money, and sanity, DO NOT trust Lowe's with any major appliance deliveries. Their incompetence and unwillingness to fix their mistakes is appalling. We will never shop with Lowe's again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Lowe's, do better. Own your mistakes and make things right for your customers.
I literally had no clue what I was doing and Tamesh (I believe that was his name!!) was so helpful. I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I got all the right things I needed, and he did it without making me feel bad about myself.

Lowe's is getting worse if you need help with anything. Tried to buy a washer and dryer but only one person working. He told me it would be 30-45 minutes before he could help me as I'm 2nd in line. Needed to buy a drill bit, but no one in the store knew where to find it. Eventually, it was found at the end of an aisle and not where the app said it was located. Had a question about an electrical connection, but couldn't find anyone who could help. I was told to come back during the week when their electrical person would be working. It's safe to say I'm done with Lowe's.

Always a deal in here. The customer service is pretty good too. I can always come here to get what I need to accomplish my job. The bathrooms are pretty clean which is unusual for stores this size. The staff goes above And beyond to make sure you find what you need and they're very knowledgeable in their departments
Refrigerator was delivered but doors were not reversed or appliance leveled as paid for in the purchase of appliance and delivery. Delivery men plugged it in and refused to reverse doors saying that required a separate service call. They just couldnt be bothered and said not their problem and left. What good is a Refrigerator that cant be accessed properly? I contacted customer service at lowes and they stated it was to have been done. Lowes needs to sub contract out people that will actually do what customer pays lowes for. I will never do business with them again and will share the lousy service with anyone that wants to listen.

Very Disappointing. Placed an on line order on 10/20/24 for pick up. Tracking said delivered on 10/24/24. On 10/31/24 still the store did not have it. I canceled the order.
Some discrepancy in item price. The same item 2 prices. Self check out Associates no help what so ever. I actually paid too much for both, but dealing with Associates who were more confused than me. I just left and ate the extra cost. Most time lowe is a good experience This time not so much
We got a great deal on a Whirlpool washer because the cheapest washer was not in stock, but in order to get it at the lowest price, we had to apply for their store card. The new washer is awesome, much better than expected. Update: our fridge finally went so we went to Lowes and bought a brand new unit. Delivery and disposal was quick. Very professional service. Lowes is so much better than Home Depot.
This Place is a Toy Store for Grown Men. Occasionally when time allows I go in knowing I dont actually need anything in particular but walking the isles inspires Me with ideas for fun home projects for My kids.

As a contractor I am very understanding but Mrs.Alesha Kowlessar customer service recived today was very poor. I placed an order at the Glenmont store but it got reroute it to store 1612. Since I had employees at the job site and my delivery got moved I went in person to pick up. Sadly I stood at the pro desk for over an hour with no help. I requested for her to call the manager so she can get some help and I could leave but no.What should be an easy transaction became the longest visit ever and all I needed it was for my products to get realize because they were already at pro. The Sherwin William rep was standing there and felt so bad that he offered me a water. Ram came 1.5 hours later to give an override. Very sad.
I wanted to recognize Kat for her amazing customer service! We ordered two pieces of a closet that is literally out of stock in every Lowes except this one. My husband placed the order and it showed pending and we are from MA. The store is in NY. I called and got Kat on the phone and she was delightful. I told her that we were driving from MA and I wanted to be sure that the order was filled before driving 2.5 hours one way. Not only did she understand my situation, she had someone pick the order before they left and had it ready for me when we got there shortly before 9pm. She greeted me with a smile and when I said Im your friend from Massachusetts she knew exactly who I was. You do not find customer service like this often and she is a GEM. I hope she sees this and I couldnt be more thankful for her and her willingness to help me. Thank you Kat! Youre a rockstar!!!

I dont usually shop at Lowes & now I know why. I was shopping online n saw an air-conditioner that I tried to order, but after spending an hour, it kept failing, so I quit. I decided I won t shop at Lowes. Today, I got an email asking me to finalize my order, so I went into the order section again and it still wont allow me to finalize my order. I decided to call the store 3 times trying to get help & was left on hold (I think since I wasnt asked n it just went silent) for 3-4 min the first call then 3-4 min again the second call I hung up n called back n asked for a supervisor n she did say please hold n then I was on hold for 8 min. Finally, I hung up & thought is a sale worth the aggravation of shopping at Lowes? This is the exactly why I dont shop at Lowes and I go to Home Depot. I tried to give them another chance n they failed miserably....AGAIN!

Had a problem during self checkout with a barcode not scanning, and the employee working there quickly figured out how to move things along for my purchase, which was greatly appreciated since I was in a rush at the time. The barcode was not in the system for whatever reason was the issue but that did not stop them from finding another way to help me make the purchase. Good experience for me today.
I just love how organized these stores are and clean. Males it easier to purchase what you need and see what you want! Always leave with new ideas. The staff is usually very helpful also.

I can t believe that Lowes even has cash registers . They don t have anyone working them. They have self checkout and one assistant watching everyone. I will never shop there again. Wonder if I will get an invite to the Christmas party.
Awful experience with a delivery. Placed an order before 2PM on Monday to be delivered next day. Order did not show up next day. I called and was told the delivery was just never picked up. I wanted a refund for the next day deliver since I didnt actually get it next day. Attempting to get that refund has been such a headache. I called about 17 different times with more than half of those just getting hung up on. When I did get a manager in some of the those occasions I was given conflicting responses and ultimately I now have to attempt to call corporate as I feel that is the only way I wont get scammed for a service that I never received. Something that should of been simple was turned into an absolute circus. UPDATE: Called corporate and had the issue resolved and the delivery fee refunded in a grand total of 15 minutes. My advice, if you need a refund or help that involves more than just excuses or being hung up on then just call corporate instead. Would of saved a ton of time and a headache by just doing that.
This stores definitely has everything you want/need for all your home repairs/upgrades. The only issue I have is you can never find anyone when you need help. I did have some great help at the Niskayuna store. Shout out to Laura & Jayden in the flooring dept for the exceptional service they provided me. They were both helpful. Thank you guys for ordering my 20 boxes of flooring.
I was looking forward to seeing their garden center. It was closed by the time I got there. Usually they have a good selection this time of year. If you want something specific, you might have to ask. But dont get your hopes up.

At the end of our shopping and several thousand dollars later he even made sure he helped load up our purchase before going home, Lowes management you have an asset in Len..

This is a great Lowes. We have found a lot of what we need for our new home and for the projects and improvements that we ve made. We always seem to find what we re looking for, and more! Update: The employees in the garden center are top notch! Corrina was a total pleasure to work with during my trip to Lowe s. She was helpful not only to me, but to all of the other customers I saw her interact with. She is a shining example of professional courtesy, cheerfulness, and excellent customer service. She definitely went out of her way to make my experience a great one and encourages me to further make Lowe s a regular in my shopping visits.

Ryan and Mikhail in lumber went above and beyond to help me pick out the lumber for my large deck order. Even though I was being picky they were very empathetic and saw the order through to the end. Very professional and great customer service.

Lowes Where the paint might dry faster than the approval of your vacation time. Tried to prioritize my education and got a crash course in unemployment instead. Their selection of home improvement tools is impressive, but good luck finding tools for employee support. Would recommend for a DIY project, not so much for job security. Prioritizing your education is seen As a one way ticket to unemployment by this place... but friendly reminder. its just a stepping stone on your employees journey but it s the furthest you ll go in your career. Remember to treat each employee with respect and understanding, because anyway goodluck pushing those carts
Just like all the home improvement warehouses, there is less and less of a selection of actual stuff a good contractor would use and more and more junk a homeowner would be tempted to buy. There is a reason lumber yards are still in business. Staff the store with people who worked in the trade and stock it with high quality products and prime grade lumber and I might shop there for non emergency items. I cant tell you the number of times the electrical department gave me advice that would either not pass inspection or would outright burn my hose down

The manager lady, at Niskayuna Lowes, can bodily lie to your face with contradicting policies within the same conversation, giving a hard time to process a return bought only a couple days ago. OFR item was sold and delivered when promised a new in box item. It was a snow thrower that was rusty, missing parts, missing warning stickers, missing manual, and was excessively greased as if used. Thankfully multiple associates came to my rescue and aided me in making a purchase and pickup at another Lowes, their help was night and day compared to their mean manager. Can confirm the new item was much better, brand new.

Ordered a new fridge on 25 November 2023, delivery was scheduled for 27 December. Took the day off for delivery and moved my old fridge out to the garage. The afternoon of the 26th (by time I checked my email the evening) received an email saying my delivery was pushed to January 11th. No explanation, no coordination, just wait two more weeks because Lowes said so, while losing money not being at work, and the manual labor of moving the old fridge. Called and I spoke with one of the head cashiers (Will) helpful and said a manager would call me back. Steve (I think store manager) calls and says there is nothing they can or will do. Steve seemed very uncaring and mater-of-fact, not that there lack of ability to hold up their requirement feel short and I MUST deal with it. No thanks. Cancelled the order and wont go back. I am now a Home Depot shopper, thanks Steve. I will also be shopping more local. Businesses caring about customers is important; Steve doesn t care.
I was at this store on 1,6,2024 I was helped by Deb Nancy and Tim Deb helped me pick out a snowblower and them Tim helped me load not only the snow blower and 3cbags of rock salt and Nancy rung me out kudos to all of you thank you for the awesome customer service it was greatly appreciated the snow blower works great thanks susie baker
We went significantly out of our way to come to this Lowes because its the only one in the area with the tile were looking for, according to the Lowes website. After about 30 minutes of looking, with a store employees help, the hundreds of pieces of 3x12 tile are somehow nowhere to be found.
What is going on with all the dead house plants at this location? With all the people who work here, no one thinks that may be a good idea to give them some water? I m sure it would only take 10 minutes a week it s been like this for months. I should have taken pictures it s bad.
Its a shame that everything is automated and that people can not assist with the simplest of tasks like making keys. I will not be going back. Ill just go to home Depot.

Went to by VALSPAR paint. Chose the color and finish on VALSPAR materials. Clearly requested VALSPAR. Paint was mixed and Voila! Switch was made to Sherwin Williams!!! Of course more expensive. Out and out bait and switch...or worse! Clerk tried to say she was just trying to provide a better paint (!) I was in a big rush so had no time to make her do it over. Lowes of Niskayuna, NY BEWARE!

Niskayuna lowes is the worst location Ive ever shopped at. The prices on the floor are rarely accurate, there are never carts in the store, and management is awful. Im there about 3 times a week and spend a lot as a pro. Its close to my house but will not be back.

I went into the Lowes store in Mohawk Commons today and tried to use a 10% off coupon from Home Depot I received in the mail. I have done this at least 10 times in the past year and have occasionally needed to have a supervisor provided in order to have it processed (no big deal). Prices between the 2 stores are usually very similar and common sense says Lowes would rather keep my business and allow the discount than have me complete the purchase at Home Depot. Common sense did not prevail on this day by your Manager Mike. I was told it was company policy to not have this coupon applied for me. The total purchase would have provided a discount of $13.00. I have a Lowes credit card which would have allowed for at least a 5% discount. So all in all I would have only been asking them for an additional $6.50 off my total purchase. I just completed a remodel of my kitchen through Lowes in which I speant $32,000 for parts and Labor. I would estimate I spend around $5,000-$10,000 yearly at Lowes. All of this was explained to the Manager Mike working at 6:50 pm on 8/22. I have dealt with an Assistant Store Manager Mike Sawicz in the past when completing my remodel of the Kitchen and this WAS NOT the Manager Mike I dealt with today. There is a Home Depot store equidistant to the Lowes store near my house and as far as Im as Im concerned Ive walked into a Lowes store for the last time. Teach your managers the value of looking up previous purchases when making a decision based on company policy in the future.
Don t actually expect them to deliver when it says online. You ll get zero updates, and if you call you ll just get an it s a 3rd party shipper response and just be waiting for it.

... due to staff shortages and/or lunch breaks, I would avoid busy times... the poor kid was wearing multiple hats but he did it. They removed some of the call buttons, so you have to find people. That can be awkward for a staff already busy...

I was there last week 2 days before my foot surgery. I needed to buy some sort of fencing for my schnauzer after surgery. A women with long blonde hair and a tall quiet dark skin man helped me. Plan 1 didnt work out. She tried plan 2. Again it didnt work. We then came up with plan 3, though skeptic they tried it and was a success. Not many employees take time out of there day to go above and beyond but these 2 did! I was there Friday Oct 14 in the garden department. They deserve a Thank You for sure ! 2 great employees Lowes of Niskayuna!

My husband and I are refurbishing our house and have spent quite a lot of time shopping at Lowes lately. The paint people have been very helpful and accurate with our paint colors, and we have had good luck finding supplies. We will continue to frequent Lowes for our housing needs.
Found everything I needed and good aisle help when found .... but not a single cashier was on duty except customer service one that was busy .... had 47 items to be checked out .... ridiculous .....
I liked the selection of bathroom sinks and cabinets. We were left on or own to look which I like. People were around if we needed help.

Helpful employees
Poor quality service. The appliance section was not responding for a call, I tried calling that department for many times and took me 2 hrs but still no response. Im sending back my delivered item because it is defective. They need to train and designate a qualified staff to help their customers in a proper way. The store manager must read this and do some action if they want more regular customers coming back to their store.

I tried to pay in $2 bills, you know, U.S. Currency! They refused my money. Ill be calling corporate on Monday. Update: Called corporate. They said they absolutely take $2 bills. Ended up giving me a $60 gift card for my troubles. The manager at the store did not know what he was talking about.

Ken in appliances was an incredible associate: patient, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. We purchased a range (ours suddenly died) and a range hood today; quickly, Ken located the Samsung range we wanted in stock. Next, he showed us several matching range hoods and carefully explained dimensions needed to accommodate our limited space. He found one online that would fit and placed the order. The range will be delivered in two days. Yay! We can cook again. The hood will arrive in a few weeks. Thank you Ken and store manager Rick for your expertise and friendly disposition.
