We are so glad we decided to choose to work with Lindse at Chas G. Burch for our master bathroom remodel. After a lot of research and shopping different bathroom design centers we made the right choice with Lindse. She did an amazing job designing our bathroom layout, gave us several options of materials and made the process easy for us right down to the smallest details! We unfortunately had to change contractors in the middle of our remodel and reorder some more tile and Cambria Quartz but Lindse was right there to help us reorder and she was great! My husband and I decided we would like to replace our semi-framed shower doors, purchased by the builder six years ago, when we had our home built, at a place in Scotia no longer in business. They are a bit wobbly as the glass is cut too thin, and we wanted to replace them with good, heavy, frameless glass doors. We are at an age--retired--when budget is no longer the problem of our younger years, and we just wanted to treat ourselves to the quality feel of heavy, frameless shower doors. We are obviously novices at this, but based on the stellar reviews we read here, we drove the 35 minutes from Glenmont to downtown Schenectady, armed with a photo of our shower, and expecting only to be educated. It was about 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon, an hour and a half before closing, but we thought we had time at least to begin the process. After wandering around a bit and seeing what we could find, it was clear that no one was going to wait on us. There were only two people working and both were tied up apparently with lengthy details of sales. Finally, one of them half-stood up at her desk and asked my husband, without smiling and obviously annoyed, whether she could help him (in a very unhelpful tone). Startled, he answered that we were looking for help in finding new shower doors for our bathroom. She pulled out a card and said go measure your shower and call me on Monday. My husband asked, Do we need an appointment? at which she said Yes in the same manner, anything but pleasant or welcoming. We were very aware that we were not particularly welcome in the store, and quickly left, dispirited. This could easily have been done pleasantly and we would not have been at all offended: Id be happy to help you with shower doors, but unfortunately Ill be tied up today until closing. Would you possibly be able to call me Monday, so that I can set aside some time to help you and your wife? It would also be very helpful if you would measure the height and width of your current shower doors. Here is my card, and I hope to hear from you, Mr. ?? (asking for our name, as though interested). Confused at our experience, I studied the Chas G. Burch website, drilling down to shower doors, and saw that they would prefer that shower measurements be taken by a contractor (or plumber). We have a contractor working on another project at our home, so well probably let him handle this, and wont be calling or going back to Chas G. Burch of Schenectady. We are very disappointed in our efforts.

Hello Im from Long Island , I had a problem with my Kohler faucet . I went to Home Depot , Lowe s , and 3 other plumbing suppliers. I then got to this company at first didn t think they were even going to talk to me . But to my surprise, not like the other places, I went to . The gentleman behind the back counter bent over backwards to help me even called kohler for me . Don t walk but run and shop here . 5 stare they solved my problems. I had a ceramic disk lavatory faucet stem that went bad. I took it everywhere without any luck. The guys at FW WEBB sent me to Chas G. Burch on State Street in Schenectady. 5 minutes, tops, got the right stem, and bought a spare. Outstanding!

Our primary bathroom had a large blue tub in it that had seen better days, so we decided to completely remodel the room. We met with Lindse in the showroom and asked for her advice. She spent a bit of time and came up with a very nice design which we thought would work well, but once we went home and reviewed our space and how we would use it, it just wasn t for us. So we called Lindse and let her know we needed a re-design. She didn t bat an eye. We gave her some more ideas of what we were looking for, including a big shower and no tub. After some tweaking of the design, it was exactly what we were looking for. Lindse helped pick out all of our tiles, vanity, benches, and fixtures. We couldn t love it more. It brought our vision to a reality. We will definitely work with Lindse and Chas G. Burch for our next remodel.

After spending the day diagnosing my tenants furnace problem as a failed control board, this company was the one place in Schdy that I could get on the phone while trying to get a repair part locally on a Monday afternoon. They told me they had an aftermarket part that would work with my furnace model number, and it did. Went there today and they still served me although the parts counter closes at noon. Not only that, they knew exactly which parts I needed, who the manufacturer of a decades old fixture was, and they told me step by step how to put the new parts in and what to look out for. Overall, the parts were less expensive than what I would have gotten from a home improvement store. Absolutely fantastic experience!

Used this Company for our kitchen design and providing all cabinets, countertops and plumbing equipment and for coordinating with an installer. We were extremely impressed with the high end kitchen that resulted - really fabulous and have had rave reviews from our family and friends. We couldn t be happier with how our renovation came out. Our contractor Justin Smith suggested we work with Lindse Cira at Chas and how lucky were we. Lindse adapted our first design, which involved taking a walk down, to a more complicated design that included taking down a wall, moving a door and adding windows. Lindse was helpful in design recommendations and selections. She went above and beyond in helping with items like tile, wallpaper, light fixtures and door hardware. As busy as they were, we always felt like our project was a priority. Lindse helped with stressful supply chain issues even going out of her way to find tile pieces needed to keep our project on time to completion for the holidays. The customer experience we had was top notch. And the end product is a dream come true. We are excited to start our master bath later this year.

We had been planning to update our kitchen for 4 years but kept delaying it because we could not connect with a designer. When we met with Lindse we knew that we were finally going to get our dream kitchen. Chas. G. Burch rescued us after Lowes abandoned us the morning of COVID lockdown. Our counter tops were removed a week prior to install, to ensure cabinets were level. We were scheduled to install the morning of lockdown, they called us an hour before we were expecting them to cancel without a projected date. After pleading with them to seek an exemption and explaining local installers were still operating. Lowes all but told us Its your problem. Chuck and team were incredibly gracious and apathetic. We were in a tough spot and they easily could have taken advantage of the situation. Instead, with honesty, integrity, and humanity they did their very best to stay within our budget and get close to the price quoted by Lowes. They were able to acquire the exact same granite we previous selected and installed in just over three weeks. After an incredibly stressful ordeal, we cant thank Burch Supply enough. Were thrilled with the results!

We worked with the team at Chas Burch to remodel our kitchen. I say team because we received very attentive service from the designer, Lindse and the owner, Chuck. They helped us achieve our dream kitchen. Our project was difficult due to lower than average ceiling height, and Lindse was able to fabricate a hood vent cabinet from scratch so I could still have the look I was going for. We also have appreciated Chucks personal attention to make sure we are 100% happy with the cabinets. You will not receive this kind of service from a big box store! I went to two other popular plumbing supply houses before being referred to Chas G. Burch Supply Co. And the first two couldnt be bothered. They gave me this place called Chas G Burch Supply. Google had easy directions, got there in minutes. Surprisingly the place was immaculate, clean, with at least 5 people working up front. A young man Steve, who turned out to be part of this original owner and over 100 year old establishment asked in seconds if he could help. I presented my problem with parts that I had brought with me and in less than a minute he had a solution and parts for me to take with me including a piece that he grounded down for me in the back room to make sure the tool would do the job. This job of changing a valve in a 59 plus year old shower that I worked on for 24 hours, I attempted again and with the one part and one tool he sold me, a total of $15 bucks I went home and did the repar in 15 minutes and it works perfectly. It is great that we still have stores with smiles and service such as Chas G Burch Supply still left in this country. Hats off to Steve and his great business and I got at least a hundred people I will send to them in the future as well as all my business in the future. I have had two kitchens done with Chas. G. Burch supplied cabinets. Couldnt be happier. They have only quality cabinets, PLUS the assistance and guidance provided by Chuck was great. I know, because I checked out three other suppliers. It makes a big difference to have someone who has such experience give guidance when asked for.

Danielle was so so helpful with our bathroom remodel. If you need stuff for your bathroom and or kitchen Chas G Burch is the way to go. Avoid Central Plumbing and Bath in Scotia at all costs.

Burch has by far the widest selection of hard to find plumbing parts. They also have the knowledge to help. If you need parts for discontinued faucets they are the only ones in town that can help you. If you need a bath or kitchen remodel this is the place to start. Best of all there is always coffee available.

Thanks to Chuck and Danielle our kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. I cant say enough wonderful things about the customer service, the follow-through and the quality of their products here. When our house flooded and all of our kitchen cabinets were destroyed, Chuck came through and was able to drop ship everything as promised. This place was able to rebuild pre-war faucet parts for me. An older pluming genius (one of the owners?) spent a good hour on it and then charged me a total of $23.78! $12 of which was labor. These guys are far out of my way but I will not use anyone else for plumbing supplies now. There are very few places like this left and I urge everyone to support them.

I have never before been around such a rude and nasty person. How they are still in business is beyond me. But from the looks of things they wont be for much longer. In the worst possible space u could imagine they are hard to find and once there the customer service is apalling if you have any questions hope you get them answered before you get there or go visit the FRIENDLY and Helpful people at HomeDepot or Lowes.
