On going and continuous issues with my breaks. Customer service was horrid until I started making calls upward. They upsell repairs and they re darn good at it. That s good for them and terrible for our pockets lol anyway.. The other locations have been amazing. I do not recommend this one if you do not know your stuff.

Took my 2013 Bmw Xdrive Twin turbo here started off with great customer service and then turned for the worst 6-10 people working on one car then to find out some don t work there at all and not even mechanics but tire techs and everything else so why would u work on a car you not licensed or certified to work on then to have my car brakes goes out on me after doing transmission & oil work and almost lost my life and break my valve cover gasket and vacuum pump . I reached out to corporate had to chase jim down because everybody giving me He say , She say and no help at all like this is a settlement and I m stuck with a messed up Bmw was charged over $500 + money I spent on taxis , rentals , etc please just get tires and go to a real dealership for work done we living in time people wanna take money and not do proper work !!! Cutting corners never seems to work!!!

What a horrible experience! We were in town visiting and my tire was flat, filled it and took it to them, and not only did we wait an hour and a half and we had an appt, they finally took my car in, they looked at it for 7 minutes tops, after my husband asked them to check all 4 tires to be safe! They came out and said nothing wrong with the tire. We had a 12 hour drive home! By the grace of God nothing happened on the drive home! The next day it was flat again, took it to a tire place where we live and they came out in 10 minutes and said you ve been driving with a SCREW in your tire! So think twice about going here! No one cares!!

Came here a few weeks before and was told my back brakes need to be changed that s why there s a noise. So I go back to them Sat 4/27, to get work done. Boom fine. I drive off. The noise is still there. I go back to them Sunday and have a whole another person, an older guy that seems to know what he s doing to check it out and now be told that it is my front brakes. The back didn t even need to be touched!! They waisted my time and money. Not even a discount of anything for the new set that needs to be done that there employee gave wrong information on. They had some young kid diagnosed my car with wrong info which is not correct. I don t know if it s cause I am a female but I know enough about cars and my car to know what s up. That is taking advantage of someone just cause. Times are hard and no one has money just sitting around to fix on pieces of cars that didn t need to. I would have liked if the mechanic even had said, hey let me check this out again there s still padding here vs fixing it and my issue still not resolved!!

I couldn t change the plates off my car at the DMV down the road, the staff were nice enough to help get the rusted screws off so I could turn in my plates and get the new ones on the same day. Also helped with recommendations for the screw that broke off.

They were able to not only exceeded my expectations, but schedule schedule an appointment with me at another Mavis, that is able to do inspections promptly. No questions asked! Absolute amazing service. Was in a pinch and needed two tires installed. Rachel, was able to help me and her customer service was above, and beyond what I have encountered at other locations. From the first phone call in with my inquiry all the way through the process of installation. I will not go to another location because of the service that I received. Most businesses to take a lesson from Rachel, and understanding that service is sometimes worth more, even if you have to travel further or pay a little more. Thank you Rachel for exemplary performance.

Went in to fix a noise my car was making, paid & left and the car was making the noise a week later. After returning 3 more times to try and fix the noise, I was directed by the DM to go to the central ave location instead of this one. New location was helpful and knowledgeable, but cant help that I wasted over $900 on something that did not fix the noise. Would not recommend. Still havent received a call back from the DM regarding this problem either.

The new management here is way better then the last time i was here!! I was in and out with my car. They fixed my tires twice. The first time i came when the old management was here and they didn t but my tires nuts on so when i drove my car the tires came right off. i came back and headquarters said it s new management and they would take care of me and they did. Love the service.

I needed new tires and an alignment, and Mavis was able to get me in ahead of my scheduled time, and for less than I was expecting to pay. Great place. Took me in for a tire change on the same day I called, and overall good service.

Do not trust them with your car! Specially with your tires. First off the person who works on you car wont be there in three months. Second, if they get out of your car and there is a beeping they dont bother to check why your car is beeping. My car beeps if it isnt completely turned off when you exit the car. Draining the battery and telling you your battery isnt very good. Really the battery I got from you guys six months ago isnt very good? My tire rim was damaged because the person they let work on my tires didnt know how to tighten lug nuts properly. Causing the tire to move enough to wear the holes into an oval. When the ovals were big enough my tire was shaking and making a loud noise. When I took my car back to them they said it wasnt there fault. It was the fault of my traction. My traction light came on when they had my car in the air so that was the problem. Then they tried to tell me if it was the lug nuts I would have known as soon as I drove off. Not if the lug nuts were tightened enough to drive but not properly tightened. Now I have to buy a new rim because they dont understand the property of metal and how physic is needed to wear down metal.

Horrific customer service. Take your business elsewhere if you value your time.

Been using mavis for my tires for a long time, after today I no longer will be. Brought my car in for a scheduled time. I was the only vehicle in the shop. I needed 4 new tires and an alignment. It took them 2.5hrs to change 4 tires and they forgot to do the alignment! They had 3 guys in the shop literally standing around doing nothing but joking around, the one guy that was working on my car kept taking cell phone breaks, and dance breaks.....yes, dance breaks.....Music blasting soo loud you could hear it in the waiting room and this guy must have thought he was Michael Jackson in there. This is a terrible way to do busines, 2.5hrs to change 4 ties and they FORGOT to do the alignment.... unreal!

I got my car towed here towards the end of the day as I had driven over a big bolt and my tire was flat. They were able to see me quickly and patch the tire right up. Would give 10 stars if I could!

What a mess, told 1 hour wait, 4 tires 3 hrs later, zero urgency, took over an hour just to get on a lift,watched an employee get his hand stuck between tire and rim breaking bead on the tire with machine. Best part they put different tires then they showed me and I picked. The lied and said they told me. Never bought tires and not offered alignment but honestly, I am glad they didnt, cant imagine that going well. Blind leading the blind. Lost half a day because of incompetence. And multiple lies

I bought rotor and brakes 1 yr later the brakes was done and the rotor couldnt pass inspection they use 2 new rotor and 2 old rotor and charge for new ones

Worst place to every bring your car to get worked on The RGM is paying the employees ridiculous pay 15.50 hr for the tire techs 16.00 for the managers and the mechanics only 18.00hr to fix cars no wonder why it took them almost 4 hours for 1 tire the place is always a mess and the machines never work i came to see the one person I trust who has worked on my car for 2 years to work on my car and they fired him he was legit the best worker they had. Who ever is the boss of this place need to lose their job and this place needs to be shut down THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Good overall work. Tire wa WAYYYY overinflated. Luckily my car has sensor. Patched the hole quick and fixed psi when I brought this up.

Wow Doing 75 on 81 and heard. A sudden loud tap tap repeatedly. Pulled over and there was a huge bolt in my $250 right rear tire. Hartford ins changed my spare. Went to Mavis, no appt, and they took me right away. So pleasant. They plugged the hole but it still leaked, I figured they would try to sell me a new tire. Instead , their Said try a seco.d patch. They put on more sealant and, walla. No $250 and no extra fee for 2nd seal. Can you believe $27 later Im on my way to PA . Met my first burmese person and he was a real pro and so kind. I actually slipped him a $20 for his kindness. Great service and saviors. Whoever gave a 1 rating must have an attitude problem Thanks Mavis Youre the best Chrysler Ave Schenectady.

Mavis tire really has horrible customer service skills !! Brought my car in to get service for my tire. I see them pull my car in take my tire off. Ask the lady hey is anyone going to come out and speak to me in regards to my tire to see what s going on and see what my options are she says yes, as I stand there waiting for the gentleman to come out and tell me nobody does he just proceeds with the repair doesn t let me know what happened I m grateful they were able to repair it, then when he pulls my car out doesn t notify me that I need to drive my car for a little bit so that that tire pressure can change itself as well leaves all the Trash in my car doesn t even take it out and throw it in. The garbage just leaves all the trash in the vehicle and the manager tells him when I walk in you re not supposed to leave that in there dude you re supposed to throw that out in the garbage and on top of that does not even put the correct air pressure inside of my tires
