Wow, amazing job! I had intense work that needed to be done. When they heard, they said just to bring it in and we will get it done!! They absolutely did! Fritz, Jaquahn and Ryan are top notch! They worked on my car for 3 hours. They had to order parts twice and install everything. They did tires, alignment, struts and more! The best part is the communication. They kept us in the loop the entire time and checked on us frequently to make sure we were ok. They were adamant that I was going to leave in a safe vehicle and they made that happen! This Mavis has amazing shop manager and technicians that should be recognized for their talent as well as their top notch customer service! Come to Mavis if you want your car done right! Great shop that has recently performed important work for me multiple times and has done so extremely well. The manager Chris is helpful, informative and thorough.

The first time I went to this location foe an oil change I booked online and when I arrived, I was told that if I wanted to be seen in a timely manner I would have to call for a slot. That appointment took 3 hours - for an oil change. They were apologetic but assured me that if I gave them a call next time it would be better. I scheduled five days ahead of time by calling the office directly. When I brought my car in I was told it would take about an hour because they were understaffed. After a half hour in the waiting room my car was still in the parking lot and a customer who arrived well after me was being brought into the garage. I will not be going back to this location, if I ever bet on mavis again.

Always is helpful with getting our vehicles in and out. Pricing is very fair. Fritz and Chris are always helpful which is why I continue to use this mavis

I m a girl so I don t know about tires, He explained to me about two different tires and I bought the wrong one. He was willing to work with me, And he helped me to fix my mistake. I would do lower if I could. We ve come here before with miscellaneous repairs, and scheduled an oil change for this morning. The minute we walked in, we were dismissed by the staff. Then he quoted us $110 for an oil change? Which seems crazy? Then we said that seems high for an oil change and he said oh sorry, $90 so we decided to leave. Surely that s incorrect? But the other gal who was working told us to go with him. Can someone who works here respond and tell me the actual price of an oil change there? This was a ridiculous waste of my time.

Walked on at the last minute for a possible tire plug, ended up needing 2 new tires. Needless to say they stayed open until they put the tires on my car...way past their closing time!!

Last minute tires & alignment on a Friday night, stayed open late to finish up our car!! This is our 3rd time using this specific Mavis, they are the only ones who ever have our tires in stock. The staff is not only good at what they do but are so kind. Fritz was extremely helpful from my call in to my visit 45 minutes later. Even the lobby was clean & quiet. Thank you again Fritz & team!!

I would love to start off by saying awesome staff. The communication was great. Jay went through step by step of everything that he checked and what he felt I needed. Made me feel comfortable enough to drive off feeling safe. Charles was also a great help went out of his was to keep my little on occupied. All around great experience.

Literally was the first one there at 9 am. When they finally told the issue (which I knew about beforehand) at noon, they told me I had three cars in front of me. I only have one car, so I m not going anywhere. Gave zero about it. What a better way than to waste my entire day there.

The staff at this location went above and beyond. We had to come in for an unexpected visit after my tire blew out on the thruway. They graciously took care of us even though their computer system was acting up. To top it all off, the tech kindly secured my spare tire and my jack pieces back into the trunk wheelwell! Brought my wife s car in for a flat repair and had to get two new tires. Jay Van was quick to help. Although I had to get two new tires, he was very helpful and indicated for me to bring in my previous receipt as I have purchased the original four and had them installed at the shop. When I checked out was super helpful, even giving us a discount on the tires we purchased as my previous tires did not have the extra coverage. I m very happy withthis store. Customer service is great and both Emmy and Jay Van were very helpful.

Dropped my truck off around 2:30 PM for 4 new tires. There was only 2 cars in the shop at that time. At 3:30 PM I called to check the status of my truck. I was told it was on the lift and it would be another 30 to 40 minutes. That was fine. At 4:30 I went to pick up my truck. It was still on the lift. No tires were on the truck. 3 of the tires were on the ground with the brand new tires already on the rims. For 40 minutes, I watched the mechanics walk around my truck and never lay a finger on it, and instead were working on vehicles that were there after mine. Finally, somebody balanced the final tire and started putting the tires on and taking much time in between putting tires on to walk around the shop aimlessly. Or at least that s how it seemed to me. The only reason I m giving one star is because the girl at the front desk was nice enough to give me a very small discount. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I don t understand why they wouldn t want to get my truck out of there as quick as possible. Their process stinks and I don t get it. I finally got out of there just before 5:30 And was late to where I had to be.

I had actually gone to the Ballston Spa location a week prior and they had charged me $42 did didn t fix my leaking tire. These guys took me in, checked out my tire and had me on my way at no charge, because the other location had already marked the tire as needing a repair. Nice guys here.

Okay ive been stuck in albany/ Schenectady for about 3weeks an mannn this was a process UNTIL I GOT TO THIS MAVIS. Mind you ive went to previous shops while being up here an nobody could take out this 1 lug nut. But when I got here it was professional the moment I got in. Chris was who I spoke to an he got me into the shop asap on top of that he got the lug nut out within 10 minutes. Emmy also was helpful because all the shops prior could not take out the lug nut so this shop seemed really confident an that helped alot. West cool dude he changed my tire with no problem an I cant be more then happy. Im not from albany im from queens ny so im far from home but anytime I mean anytime I come up here ill be coming to this mavis everytime for my car. Again thanks you guys

I had a great experience here! I brought in my car for an inspection and Emmy immediately told me it wouldnt pass because my windows were tinted too dark. Chet came out with a meter and showed me the readings. They said I should get the tinted film taken off and come back. I was so grateful that I didnt pay for an inspection, only to have it fail and have to pay for another one. I also asked Chet about installing a mount for my front license plate, since the car is from SC and they dont require them. He said if I bought a mount from an auto parts store, he would install it at no charge. They were both incredibly accommodating and helpful, and I would absolutely go back again. Smh this place will HEAD CRACK you with prices. They initially quoted me for two tires which is what I ended up coming in for and then walked out paying almost $500 for an alignment and TWO new tires. Absolutely insane!! If I knew this upfront and if they were honest, I would have left and found another place. The girl who claimed to be the manager was saying I got you I got you I can give you a discount, but come time to pay for the transaction she continued to apologize because it wouldnt let her, so she went off to ask for help. Guy came back took $20 off my alignments lol .. She also apologized and said idk why they wouldnt tell you the price before hand, so sorry .. but why are you guys not communicating? If the women was dealing with me and quoting me since walking in, how does the guy skip pass her, come straight to me to show me something needs to be done and I agree thinking what she originally quoted me was included. I am a very spiritual and energetic person and the whole transaction and time being in this place just didnt feel right. I just know it. Completely unprofessional. They continue to approach you with things needed for the car, but they don t confirm estimates prior to doing this to ensure customers are okay with them proceeding or communicate. Now im stuck in the end having to pay an extreme upcharge on services that WERE NOT initially CONFIRMED! - they tell you whats wrong, make it seem bad, tell you you need it then add additional charges. I NEVERRRR leave reviews, so it definitely is a reflection of me leaving unpleased and upset with my experience. A guy came in for tires as well, heard him get quoted $600+ , he said he needed to come back..and I promise you, he wasnt. But karma always comes around on people who dont have the best intentions or are unethical for a sale. so this will just be an experience for me I will take to the chin. & it sucks even more because 80% of the establishment are people of color. Music blasting loud, idk it was definitely this shift this day.

I had the BEST experience here. I came in with no appointment (I did call ahead) and came in got all four tires replaced, my car aligned, and the rear suspension fixed. I was met with friendly faces and people who kept me informed and were so nice. I didn t catch the man s name who helped me. But he walked me through the process of getting new tires and ensured that my car was checked and aligned well. He was so informative, helpful, and friendly and it was nice to be given the information I needed to make my decision. I was treated with respect and kindness from everyone! I will be coming back!

I had lots of questions and concerns about my car. Never did I feel rushed, persuaded, or bullied to accept & pay for services like at many car repair places. The service here is so great, i literally came in for a flat tire, i had no idea how to read my tire size and Emmy in the front went out to my car and looked at my tire and showed me my size, which was very helpful. She also showed me the sticker in my door so I knew the tire pressure. They were able to fix the flat and had me in and out in less than an hour. Definitely recommend this shop out of all the other ones!

I had a flat on my wife s car, I got it changed and got back on the road. I brought the punctured tire to the local store. They couldn t fix it because of where the hole was but they were able to get me a new tire, mounted and balanced while I waited. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

The service at this Mavis was great came in to get and inspection done and a tie rod looked at Matthew was the one that helped me out and made sure I was well taken care of thankfully the tie rod was fine and the inspection went through smoothly very grateful for his service and how he helped me out.

All I can say is customer service was top tier. Matthew was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was my first visit to this shop and wont be my last. From the receptionist who scheduled my visit to the service they provided, everything was done timely and hassle free.

Horrible Experience there Especially with management, they will Try to rip you off and keep finding things wrong to Charge you More and act like they giving you a discount but really there is none, and very rude female Staff.Just know that u gonna be ripped off!!!

the manager (chris)at Mavis is not knowledgeable and is very rude to customers and also rude to employees in the presence of customers I recently did an alignment on my truck which he didnt know to complete and kept pushing me around from one thing to the other as to the reason as to why he couldnt do alignment properly I paid the fee and my truck is still out of line

Awful customer service from the assistant manager. I ve made a phone call yesterday to book for a state inspection, receptionist told me to bring the car in around 9. We got there today and female assistant manager said I couldn t have booked an appointment because they need a two hours span to perform the inspection. She also said the person who took my phone call did not know what he was talking about when he took my appointment. Extremely rude and disrespectful. She should have thought how to solve the issue instead of blaming on other coworkers

The service at Mavis was great, came in to get an inspection done, the assistant manager at front desk was very helpful and made sure i was taken care of.
