Had a tow today because the car was stuck in a snowbank. The gentleman who towed me out was awesome and friendly. Towed me to a place to get my tire replaced. Only towing place I will go with!

Never heard of a business that don t take credit or bank cards when they have a contract with law enforcement. Nasty work the women that picked up the phone very nasty disposition money hungry at its finest.

Needed to have a car towed these guys were on the spot and true to their word. Couldn t be happier highly recommend they just made a customer for life.

Absolute lying dirtbags. Told us our car was being towed to a garage, but actually towed it to their storage yard so they could charge us storage fees. Also, refused to return calls to Geico for our insurance to cover the tow - again, so they could keep our car there and charge storage fees. The absolute worst kind of horrible human beings.

Owner is a stand up guy. A clerical error was made and he reached out and made it right. He has pride in the business he has built from the ground up.

We had a car end up in our yard after the driver lost control. The car ended up 50 feet into the woods. The team from AC s carefully pulled the car out while missing all of our landscaping some how. They were extremely careful and professional. I highly recommend them. Most importantly, the driver is ok.

Almost exactly 90 minutes after our camping trailer blew a tire on the thruway, this company had my wife and children already moving again. They showed up, installed a new rim and new tire, all on memorial day weekend, during rush hour. Thank you ACs towing and recovery.

After waiting 3 hours for another company (Greedy A$$-Interstate) to tow my car, I called ACs and they showed up when they said they were going to. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company left my son, a new driver ALONE in Albany over an hour away from home with a car that wouldnt start and only 4% battery charge on his phone. It was my sons first breakdown and poor kid was on his way down the thruway on his way home from college with his car packed with things .Worst part they charged us $243 dollars to tow him to a parking lot in a seedy part of Albany with a car that wouldnt even lock at dusk! Thank God for Capital Towing and their kindness. This place is a rip off and the owner was simply cruel. Mind you according to my son the driver asked his boss if he could take him home BUT the owner screamed at the driver for wanting to help out. Yelled at him for asking. To the driver- Im sorry you have to work for people like that, must make you feel terrible. Thank you for at least wanting to help my son.

Let s start off by saying quality of service 10 out of 10 phenomenal. The owner was understanding. Make sure that I was comfortable gave me the best service start to finish, dropped off my death trap of a car nothing but kindness. I recently used AC s Towing for a tow back home after the battery died in the middle of absolute nowhere and their service was amazing. Their customer service was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The towing vehicle arrived in a timely manner given how far I was and the driver, Mark, was hilarious, professional and efficient. The prices that they charged were also extremely reasonable, especially in comparison to their competitors who basically wanted my left kidney just to take it home. Called for a Tow as my car wouldnt start. The guy who answered the phone wanted me to try acouplemthings before he rolled a truck. Nothing really working he ended up coming to pick up my RAV4 to run it to the dealership. Certainly wasnt lost on me was his attempt to save me a couple of bucks before he towed me. Would use again if I need a tow. Be wary if youre driving a 2018 RAV4 with the intermittent steering wheel lock. Also over the past year both front door locks no longer work with the key fob and now need a key.

How grateful I was to have Alfred from ACS towing come and retrieve my daughter and I on new years eve day on rt 90. They showed up , had us in the nice cab of his truck and delivered us to a local mechnic. Alfred was our guardian angel that day. My family owns a business in Rotterdam and we have a late model box truck (10,000lb gvwr) that has had a lot of problems lately. In the last year, ACs has came and towed our truck 3x. Once from Troy, once from Saratoga and today from Lake George. Each time they were quick to respond and very polite. The first two times Shawn helped us and today it was Rafael. Would without a doubt recommend them.

If youre worried about being a woman alone on the highway with a flat tire- keep this companys phone number. He was fast, communicative, and friendly- a perfect gentleman who made a very stressful day MUCH easier. Naturally I got the flat on a day that was already quite difficult. His easy going and friendly manner really helped put me at ease. They really HAVE earned all these positive reviews. This was the easiest flat tire I have ever had, and I would recommend his services again in a heartbeat.

Raphael is a hero to me. My car broke down on the Thruway as I was moving from Ohio to New York, pulling a U-Haul trailer. My travellers-aid service (Better World) contacted him, and Raphael not only towed my car the rest of the way, he personally stowed my trailer at no cost, until my friend and I could return later that day and pick it up. He went above and beyond the call of duty. I enjoyed talking with Raphael on the drive--hes a good man. I heartily recommend ACs Towing & Recovery.

I broke down at an intersection on i-890 and my subaru had broke down. ACs towing came and got me out of a dangerous situation in less than 15 minutes. They held my car and when I told them about how tight I was financially they dropped all the storage fees and just charged me for towing. I called and they showed immediately. Almost too easy compared the the first company I called that left me waiting and extra 90mins before I cancelled them.

Amazing! My Testla Model S, ran out of electric 5 miles before the Albany charging station. When the car runs out it automatically slows the car down so you have time to pull safely on the shoulder. Once the car stopped, ACs Towing showed up within 20 minutes. However, because it is all wheel drive, and runs completely on electric, after a short period of time there is no way to put it on tow mode in order to unlock all the wheels. To make a long story short, Rafael and team, went back to their shop, and came back with the appropriate dollys to totally lift the car without forcing the locked wheels, and set the car on a dummy set of wheels. While they left, they had a team member stay with the car and added a booster to the 12 volt battery, in order to try and add enough juice for the battery to reboot the computer and possibly put on tow mode. This job took real technique and patience. If you have a Tesla, or similar type or class of car, you should be able to rest assured you are in good hands with these guys! They are a class act!!! Jay

Wow, what an incredible experience we had with AC Towing and Recovery after our car broke down in Albany. We were over 200 miles from home and unfamiliar with Albany area and had waited for over two hours for a different tow company that was dispatched from the state DOT. When the other tow company did not come, we called AC Towing who came quickly to get us off the thruway. We were so lucky that AC Towing came to help us who then drove us the entire way home at night with our vehicle. We could not have asked for a more seamless, generous and professional team that made us feel safe and calm the entire time. Thank you so much Raphael for helping our family! We had a skid fail on a piece of machinery we were hauling with our tractor trailer. They were onsite within 40 minutes of calling them with labor, jacks, and dunnage. They got our drivers shipment blocked up and helped to re-secure. Great professional service.

Our driver Binky Pervez arrived quickly and had us get our of the rain into a big comfortable backseat. He didnt even blink when I told him where we were going. I know sometimes when I see so many 5 star reviews I think to myself that some of them are made up, but after my encounter with AC towing, I know all of them are genuine. I had locked myself out of my company vehicle late at night and had work the next morning. AC was an angel in disguise and was not only diligent in making sure I gained access to my truck, but was also personable and humble. I offered to tip him and although he appreciated the gesture, he declined stating he would just appreciate a review and here we are. The driver name was Rob and he was there on time got my truck all loaded up and succured on his roll off and away we went. I had serious issue with my car being able to be towed due to a mechanical issue. Others tried and failed on 3 previous attempts, so my frustration level was through the roof. AC came out and figured out a solution to get my car onto the flatbed. Driver was professional and courteous. A true pleasure to deal with!

When it was snowing and super cold outside, the lock on my truck froze and ACs came to help out. Sadly, they could not get into my truck. But they tried for nearly an hour in the freezing cold, and they were extremely nice about it. They were kind enough to drive me home. I dont know whether I should be ashamed of my truck or proud that it was the first vehicle that they could not get into!

Lets just say they have nothing but 5-star reviews for a reason. Had a tire blowout on the Interstate night before Thanksgiving. Gentleman from AC showed up in the freezing dead of night, gave my sister and I a ride back to their place of business. He was nothing but polite and cheerful despite him having to come out on the holidays. We went over the fact that tire places are closed for the holidays, so he let me keep the car there for two nights so I wouldnt get towed again! I called two days later, expecting to make a five-hour drive to get my car from them before they closed for the weekend, but they let me know that not only was the tire replaced, and not only were they not going to charge me for the tire, but that they would also let me pick up my car on the weekend on my way back home to save me time and money! Absolutely a life-saver and I was totally unprepared for this level of kindness, professionalism, and understanding!

This company purchased a used piece of equipment as is off of us in October. They called us in late December and demanded we pay for repairs it needed. The owner was rude, ignorant, and unreasonable to me on multiple phone calls, telling me he did not want to hear what I had to say, he only wanted me to send him money. I did not owe him anything, but as an offer of goodwill, I offered him three different options to try and make him happy. None were good enough and he hung up the phone on me and refused to respond to calls or text messages. He wanted to extort me into reimbursing him $4500 for $200 worth of parts, which were his responsibility to begin with. That game might work in the new york tow business, where you overcharge and extort stranded motorists and insurance companies all day long, but I dont play that game. You talk about honesty and integrity, but you cant take ownership of your issues or be reasonable to deal with. You would rather hide behind a computer screen and talk trash and try and tear good people down. I know I run a sucessful, straightforward business, just because you didnt get your way and you are offended, doesnt mean you are right. It doesnt need to be this way, hopefully you change your mind.

Instead of charging me 500$ these guys basically charges me only half. Love the company deffenitly would recommend them to anyone who is in need of towing.

If I could give this company 100 starts I would. My Jeep was parked in a parking garage with 6 6 clearance. I called more than a dozen companies and no one would come get my Jeep out. One well known company in Troy told me to call them back because the guy was still in bed and not getting up!!!! Mind you this was a 24 hour tow company and it was 800AM on Saturday. To make things worse the forecast was predicting up to 20 inches of snow on its way in a few hours. Finally by the grace of God I was connected with A and C Towing and Recovery. Raphael assured me he could help and was determined to get the job done. Once he and his assistant got to my car, he assessed the situation, and began troubleshooting. He took great care with my car and got it out of the parking garage safely and towed it to the dealer. Even though I think this whole experience took 10 years off my life I m so glad all those other tow companies did not take the job because it lead me to A and C and made the whole nightmare totally worth it knowing the job was completed with the upmost professionalism. Do yourself a huge favor and put these guys in your phone contacts. If you need a tow these are the guys to call. Class act. You just don t find customer service like this anymore. (probably not enough money in it for them as its covered on my plan so they pick and choose who to assist) No reason. Left me sitting here. Will never patronize this company.

Its never a good day when you need roadside assistance but this company made my situation a lot less stressful. My responder, Edwin, arrived in a timely manner. He was very professional and friendly. I had broken down on the thruway so I had to pay for service upfront. Rather than hand over my credit card, the company has a convenient payment portal through their website. 5 stars well earned!

These guys are fantastic. Having to have your car towed is never a happy experience but Raphael and his crew made it as stress free as possible. My car broke down in and downtown parking garage and two other companies came and went because they could not get their behemoths into the garage. AC Towing has a smaller truck just for such situations but we ended up not needing it. They figured out within a minute that we could just push the car to the exit gate quite easily and then roll it up on the flat bed. Took all of 5 mins. Other companies did not even want to bother trying to figure that out. Kudos. I highly recommend them. They were on the scene very quickly (20 mins maybe)as well while other were 30-75 mins before showing or not showing. Thank you, guys.

By far the best service we ve ever received ! Our jaguar was out of commission and stuck in a tough parking spot with no access to the battery. He was so patient and knowledgeable and I will definitely recommend him to all foreign car owners because a lot of these other companies don t understand how to do anything when it comes to a foreign vehicle. .On Sunday afternoon I got a flat in my boat trailer tire. I m not experienced with changing tires, especially on a boat trailer with the boat on it. I called AC s towing and recovery and Blankie (I m sure I m spelling his name wrong) showed up within 15 minutes. He took the tire off and waited while we got the new tire put on the rim. While we were waiting, he even helped me with my malfunctioning power washer! What a guy! During the tire changing process, he showed and explained everything to me step-by-step so could do it myself if I needed to. He went above and beyond his job duties and I really appreciated it. I absolutely recommend this company!

I went home to visit family and friends. My rental car (mini van) caught a flat tire at night on the expressway. The driver (I am sorry. I forgot his name, but I will call him Brooklyn) was very helpful, courteous, and friendly. He towed my rental car and my family to the car rental place. He waited to make sure we were good to go with our new rental car. I would like to say thank you Brooklyn and ACs Towing and Recovery for a great experience. Words can not explain the services i received from ACs Towing & Recovery, if it was possible to give them more than 5 stars i would!!!. Normally when your car breaks down it a very sad and depressing feeling cause you know the process is going to be very costly and time consuming. However ACs Towing & Recovery made the experience totally different these guys were very professional and understanding of the situation.

I was stranded in Albany when my muffler dropped and the first place I called was ACs towing because it has really good reviews and I can see why. I spoke to Rafael who was really nice and he sent over his driver who was very professional and friendly. I was able to make it to the muffler shop just in time for them to replace a screw and I was on my way. Thank you guys so much! You made a nerve racking experience less horrible.

Ac s towed my vehicle after an accident without telling me where they were bringing it or how much it would cost. Couldnt give me an accurate location for where it was being held until after I had shown up at their main location and called 3 times, and instead of giving me a phone number gave me a fax number so I had to call back 2 more times. After about 3 more calls I find out that the total is about $600, then told me I could just pay the 200 for towing if I get the car out today. I arrange for a company to buy my car for parts and pick it up for free, only to have acs tell me that the total would again be 600 dollars and said that they never said it would be 200. Would never recommend these people

My kid got locked out in the car, and when we called multiple towing companies for help and there was a one hour wait everywhere, but when we called ACs Towing & Recovery, Rafael and Shawn understood the situation and helped us by getting our car unlocked. And on top of it, they did not take a single penny, and Rafael mentioned that he made enough bucks for the day. I could not believe that I could meet such compassionate people these days. God bless them and will definitely recommend them for towing and recovery needs.

Words cannot express our gratitude for AC Towing and their quick and friendly service. While attempting to leave the drive way, the car slid in the drifted snow and we were quickly stuck in a 3+ foot snow bank. AC came highly recommended and we can see why! Quick and friendly service and before we knew it, our car was pulled out. The owner could have quickly left but he stayed to ensure we parked in a spot on the main road where our car would not be struck while we waited for the plow truck to clear the driveway. Another vehicle that was broken down in the middle of a busy intersection, with no one helping them. I quickly asked the couple if they needed someone to call a tow truck, which they did so I told them I could call for them. These people were broken down, in the the rain, when it was 37 degrees out, so I wanted to help how I could! I called these guys since they were close by, but the man on the phone talked to me like I was a inconvenience to him, and essentially said is wasn t worth coming to help them, even though it was close by, in the rare chance they said no. It seems like they aren t interested in helping others with their services. I called the next place, and they came without question.

Rafael was great!!! He got out to me quickly and was very friendly. He was nothing but professional and friendly. I will never use another company for my towing needs.

+They moved my car eventually. -Theyre not at all skilled at using a telephone. The guy could not take directions or write down an address. Also, they have a suspiciously large number of perfect reviews. Almost like the reviews were bought.

Driver Shaun was great. Loaded minivan in 6 min and quickly delivered vehicle to address. And to top it all off had very reasonable rate especially for Thruway service.

I was in a huge jam. One of my big trucks broke down at 3am on the thruway. We were advised to call the thruway authority so they could dispatch a service. That was a bad piece of advice. I called ACs Towing at 3 in the morning and talked to Ralphie the owner. He set it up and drove over an hour to get the truck and trailer. Yes we do business together, however, 3am and service like that is above and beyond. Furthermore he charged me less then half of what the other company quoted. Thank you Ralphie! He has literally bailed me out 3 times in the last three months.

We were stuck on hwy 87 in Albany with a broken axle on our 5 th wheel. After 6 hours of trying to get towed to a shop, Raphael showed up for the second time, took tire, wheel and rotor off, followed us with his lights flashing at 20 mph to a shop. The AC tow truck arrived at my house within 5 minutes of the scheduled time of 9 AM on Tuesday May 30th 2017. The driver was well spoken, polite and very efficient. He had my Honda Civic on his tow truck within 5 minutes and my car arrived at Mohawk Honda 15 minutes later (6.4 miles). I did not have to go out to Mohawk Honda but talked with them by phone about the car problem after the car arrived - they called me. The towing cost was $95 plus tax for a total of $102.60. I looked up the mileage on Google Maps and told the AC dispatcher who then gave me a price when I asked for one ( I dont like to get surprised). My overall experience was excellent and I would highly recommend AC Towing.

Best company to get your car tower. If you are in a tight spot. Car wouldnt work because the key fob was not being detected. We called two different companies and they didnt know how to get it out the drive way because it is a narrow driveway. This company moved the car out the drive way and to the location it need to go to get it fixed. Its been an all day things. And being stick in one place all day. It sucked but one company got it done in less than the time it took the other companies. Thank you so much. They were so friendly and patient. Guys honestly an amazing company

My car broke down while driving on the highway and as expected I was rather upset. The tow truck driver was quick, courteous, and made sure that I got off the side of the highway unharmed. Once I got to their garage, the owner and his lovely wife continued with great customer care. They handled all of my problems and made sure I was comfortable while in their waiting area. Definitely a great company ran by great people, the level of customer service superseded my expectations drastically. I would highly recommend to those that are in need of a reliable, trustworthy, tow company.

Showed up very quickly on a Sunday. Very courteous service. Delivered car to dealership for repairs, and even took care of getting the after-hours paperwork filled out for us.

Where do I start . My wife was in a car accident and was not hurt everyone there was very compassionate and ask if she was ok they cared more about her than the car. The car was totaled they took care of everything from A to Z . We had to return to get the Tags off the car they did removed them for us, as we were on a short schedule.I have owned and managed a jewelry store for over 30 years and know great customer service when i see it .We Left with a handshake and a laugh that day with a great group of people . 5 star and two thumbs up. Words cant express the gratitude I have for this amazing local towing company. Its bad enough to deal with car issues and finding a reputable honest company to tow your car but AC was highly recommended by a friend so I gave them a try. The service response was very quick approx. 25mins, I was greeted with a smile by the gentleman and he was funny, polite and very helpful. After arriving to the garage where my car was towed I asked how much and he told me the price I WAS IN SHOCK!!!!!!!! I had guessed in my head about how much it would be based on prior experiences with other places but this price was much more reasonable than other companies. Thank you again AC for your help, promptness, COMPETETTIVE PRICES and most importantly a piece of mind. You guys EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.

I broke down on the thruway and it was brutal outside. Sat. January 6th. Truck was there in 25 min and I have a Ford Super duty with a plow and I was going to East Greenbush. Not an easy vehicle to load. Driver was slammed with calls but instead of just getting me off of the thruway, which is all he was obligated to do, he brought me all the way to East Greenbush. The truck was nice new and clean. It went as smooth as a tow could go and Im incredibly appreciative. 5 stars for sure. Rafael is a solid man. Glad to have met him.

Great customer service highly trained drivers arrived before the eta they told me and price was what they said definitely trust this company with my truck.

Getting a flat and then hearing that your car needs to be towed at midnight in the rain is never an experience you want to have, but somehow, our tow truck operator made it a good experience. Showed us problems with our tires we didn t even know we had, and went the extra mile (literally) to make sure that we got to a repair shop safely, then to the hotel we were staying at. Cannot recommend highly enough.

ACs came out when our ambulance was stuck in a local residents driveway and another company declined the call. The staff from ACs was not only dedicated to ensuring our vehicle was pulled out of the problem area but that it was done the greatest of delicacy and focus on not further damaging the vehicle. ACs collaborated with the local fire department, the homeowner and the driver of our ambulance to safely pull the ambulance out. After extensive time planning, the plan was flawlessly implemented without any challenge or further damage to the ambulance. We couldnt have asked for a better response.
