Perfect Water in Schenectady

Perfect Water has been far from perfect! We spent thousands of dollars with them and installed everything they recommended. 10 months after install, we started having a problem with one of the units getting stuck in a partial backwash mode, the house lost water pressure and our treated water went into the septic system. It took a lot of effort on our part to get them to come back. They finally came back, changed some parts on the unit, said it was wear and tear, and left a $300 invoice for us. I complained to the owner because it was less than a year old, he seemed to agree that this was unreasonable and said he would discuss it with the manufacturer, Kinetico. We continued to have the same ongoing problem after this initial service call. Perfect Water came back again, the owner assured us that the problem would be corrected. The Tech said there was nothing he could do about the backwash problem because the unit wasn't having the problem when he was there and the owner was going to take care of the invoice. We continued to have the same ongoing problem with the same unit. I contacted Kinetico. Kinetico advised me that our well supply did not meet the minimum requirement of 6 gallons per minute and that was the likely cause of the unit getting stuck in the backwash mode. Perfect Water then refused to acknowledge the minimum well requirement and demanded $600 for their service calls which clearly did not fix the problem with the unit. We are still having the same ongoing problem! The next closest Kinetico dealer is in Vermont and we are too far out of their area for service, so we are now stuck with the problem and Perfect Water could care less!

We are not customers of this business, but they arrived in our driveway this morning, knocked on our door, and then proceeded to ENTER OUR HOME when nobody answered the door. I was at work watching on our camera. We had no idea who this person was. If they did not know their route, it would have been much smarter to call the house they were looking for, rather then just go in a random house, hoping it was the right one. Completely terrifying.

Perfect water yes... I do have perfect water.. now.!!!!!!!!! Kyle Great salesman explained everything .. Top to bottom. Had another company name collagen Was not very happy with a salesman kept on pushing things .I said I will get back to Them ln couple months And they just kept on calling me... Kyle has explained everything to meThat's the other company could not do... Also I Had The installation service his name Andrea Very good When he was all Done.. He would explain everything to me.. Both guys were very patient when I need to know something they Would take There time out to explain everything to me they were both very professional .... Very happy with perfect water I recommend Them very highly...... Thank you perfect water..

our first kinetico water softener lasted 25 years with only one service call. when it was time to replace it there was no doubt but to stay with the same high quality product. kyle guided us through the product choices after doing extensive water testing, giving us detailed information about our filtration and softening needs. andrea did a meticulous installation. we could not be more satisfied! thank you.

After calling several places for a Well Water UV system, I was lucky enough to find Perfect Water. I immediately received a call back about my inquiry, and had a free water test and appraisal scheduled for the next day. They were incredibly professional and did not try to over-sell anything I didn't need. I had a carbon filter and UV system installed for less than the price of some systems I'd have to install my self! Their reps and installers were amazing. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Working with the staff at Perfect Water was a refreshing experience. The sales team is very professional and knowledgeable, as was the gentleman that installed our reverse osmosis system. The system iteself (K5) is a very high quality unit that has been performing perfectly since it was installed. I would definitely recommend using them for any commercial or residential job.

Our call for service on our Kinetico water softener was promptly returned and an appointment set up to fix it. Kyle from Near Perfect Water arrived at our home at the appointed time to make the repair. He is very professional and very knowledgeable about Kinetico products. In discussing our concerns about our municipal water with him, Kyle recommended we add a sediment filter to our system, which we thought was a great idea. Kyle's repair of our softener and installation of our new sediment filter was expertly done. He was meticulous. Near Perfect Water and Kyle provided excellent customer service. We are so glad we called Near Perfect Water.

After nearly 10 months of analysis with different options, decided to install Kinetico Water Softener system 850 premier and K5 RO system. There are cheaper options available but the rational in finalizing Kinetico was primarily their mechanics and the support system involved around this product. It all comes down to Cost vs Compromise or Price vs Peace, we chose the latter and so far it was wonderful. This will be considered one of the nicest and worthy investment as these systems are meant to last for a long long time. It was more than 2 months since installation and both systems are working great and we are very satisfied. Kyle Scheffler needs a special mention here, he did a great job. He was very kind, supportive and co-operative. He clearly made a positive difference in our decision making process. Thanks Kyle.
