This shop was meant to fix my vehicle and instead they lit it on fire and now their insurance company deemed it a total loss and is only paying me the loan amount for my car. I got this car earlier this year. Meanwhile I have to now go get a new vehicle because they lit it on fire. So now I have to go put down a new down payment for a car and have been paying my car payment the months they’ve had my car. They do not think they owe me the money that i am now out of and again have to go put down more for a new car, which is all due to their mistake. I strongly suggest you think twice before using this company for your auto repairs because they may light your vehicle on fire and then deem it a total loss and any money that you put down for that car is gone and they won’t reimburse you for that, only the loan amount. To accept full responsibility would be to pay the amount for the loan and the money I am out of due to their mistake.
I would like to thank Ryan for getting me right in to fix the splash underbody shield on my car. Dealer couldn’t even get me in for 3 weeks to look at it. Ryan got me in the same day I called and the part came the week after and he fixed it in 30 minutes while I waited and it came out perfect. Thank you Ryan for your service and accommodating my schedule.
I hate to leave negative reviews, but this is needed I feel. Brought my car in on April 10th to begin repairs, told me the repairs would take about 14 business days, here we are Almost 30 business days later and my car has been sitting in the paint department for the past 8 days untouched. They found a little bit of extra damage and it makes since for it to add a few extra days, but this timeframe is unacceptable. And every time I call Gerber because I had to keep extending my rental, they tell me that they hope to have it done next week (this happened twice). As long as the car comes back in phenomenal shape, I will be a little happier, but I will not be back here. On a plus side the employees are very nice. Update. They say someone’s been in contact with me to discuss my concerns but no one has been. The only contact I get is every Tuesday and Thursday telling me the same thing, my car is still in the paint dept and hopefully it’ll be done soon.
Took my car in for repairs in early December and was told work would start Jan 18. Called them early February and was told that not only had work not started, but they had not even scheduled me in. Completely ridiculous that I left my car there for almost 2 months only for them to tell me that they wouldn't work on my car. Screw you guys for keeping my car hostage for so long. Ended up costing me so much extra money to rent a car for 2 months that I didn't even need!
Worst experience ever! Had my car for over a month then refused to do the work after catching them in multiple lies. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other preferred options. Do not waste your time!
They are one of my insurance company, Allstate, affiliated body shops. After an accident last April, Allstate recommended them to me. I'm very happy with the work they did. Last month, I found the window they worked on was not rolling all the way up, they fixed it without charging me even though its slightly out of the warranty period. What's more is that they even reimbursed the cost I had to pay to the dealer for resetting the alarm since they had to disconnect the motor. It's a definitely a very trustworthy place.

In terms of the work done and the staff, I couldn't be happier. The work was done when they said it would be and it is of good quality. My only negative is actually with the arrangements made for a rental through them with Enterprise (loaners are only for repairs that exceed $1,000 if available, per my understanding and actually my expectation going in). Felt a little fleeced by Enterprise, even at a "discounted" rate which seemed to equate a cost of a week's rental for the three days I had the car. So, great shop, good staff, good work, but I would simply recommend arranging for a rental outside of their partnership with Enterprise when you need to get work done here.

Have repairs done on my BMW. Was finished sooner than expected, they keeped me in the loop throughout the process and pickup was super easy. 10/10 recommend!

Very professional. We were met at our pre-arranged time promptly and we had our estimate and appointment for repair within an hour.
No way I would recommend car took forever and interior was dusty, previous owner of business at least detailed and then I noticed a dent in passenger seat that wasnt there made very little customer care.
Their process are slow.

This shop is #1 with me, they have restored two of my cars over the years, they are friendly and have kept me posted while they were working on my car. My Allstate insurance recommended this place, I see why.
Horrible...kept getting the run around about our vehicle.Its very sad.
They were were recommended by my auto insurance company I experienced delays, lack of any communication and they left key repairs unfinished when they finally said it was ready - No attention to detail - I m disappointed with the results - I wouldn t recommend to any family or friends- the employees seem young snd inexperienced - there are so many better options in the capital region to have your vehicle repaired.
These guys did an above and beyond job on my truck. Some companies do the work that needs to be done and send you on the way. This place treats you like a friend. They care about doing a great job and making sure your 100% satisfied when you leave. Thanks again Gerber, you guys surpassed my expectations. Great experience.

There is definitely a difference between collision repair facilitIES and Gerber proves it. They went above and beyond with the repairs and customer service on my Honda CRV. I would never go any place else.

Had a scratch in the front of the hood that I wanted taken out they booked me a appointment to look at it I got there and they fixed it that day in and out experience and the detailer did a great job its like it wasnt there also Melinda at the front desk was amazing as well helping me with all questions while I waited for the car to be done 5 out of 5 for the service I received

I arrived in the vehicle I wanted to have a quote to repair. Was immediately brushed off from a gentleman standing outside. I was instructed by him to call the number on the door. As I went to take a picture of the number to schedule an apt I was met by a very nice representative from inside that said she might be able to fit me in for quote providing the gentleman outside had time. He was very rude to both of us stating it was too late.. 3pm... no worries there are other establishments nearby that I can do business with... I was ready to spend at least 3k in rust/ body repair... very disappointed. Not good business.
I am absolutely satisfied with work. They re built my entire car almost. So professional and polite. And beyond reasonable prices. I recommend them whole heartedly.
The receptionist was the best part of my interaction with this business, she was friendly and helpful. I went in to get a quote for a broken passenger mirror and was shocked by how much they intended to charge. Why would an area less than a foot sq take 2.4 hours to paint? They also added 2.4 hours for painting materials, so they ended up charging 4.8 hours to paint ONE HALF of ONE exterior mirror assembly shell. The shop ended up estimating a whopping 8.9 hours of work for what I confirmed through an independent mechanic takes about 1.5 hours if youre being efficient and 2.5 if youre moving slower than molasses. I declined to use this shop, even with insurance.

Didnt do everything they said they would do and they were 2 days late finishing the project.
The staff were professional, there s no problem there, they d earn 4 stars. The service on the other hand was far from exceptional. I brought my car in for an estimate on February 1 and was told that on February 18 they would be ready to repair it. I brought it in on the 18th and got a rental car, they said I d receive text updates so I d know what was going on with the vehicle. I had to return to pick up my car and return the rental car 4 days later because they said there was an issue with the parts. I then returned on March 13 for yet another rental and for the repair, expecting that it would be relatively expedient because I had already brought my car in, however, my car was not ready until April 4th. Additionally, there were no text updates to keep me in the know so I had to call repeatedly to get information on status. In totality it took 63 days for the repair to be finialized and they couldn t even be bothered to clean and detail the inside of my vehicle. I would have expected at the very least an apology for taking as long as it did, however, that didn t happen either.
Company lied about sending text updates and lied about when the vehicle would be finished with repairs. Unprofessional customer service.

Stopped here for a estimate to repair a dented tailgate on my pick-up. I have never been treated with such disregard. There was no help from the attending representatives of this company. They remained seated at their desks, the man never even turned around. The woman told me to report the damage to my insurance company, who would then contact them and in turn they would call me. NO THANK YOU !!
I have been to this shop multiple times when they were Elmo s Body Shop, and I have visited once since they changed to Carrubas. You can expect the same convenient, friendly service.
The people are nice but they were unable to fix my vehicle without replacing the entire bumper so I went to pic it up and there was markings all over the car pointing out bumps and dings and rust and writing on the window. They could have washed that off for me atleast.

Bought my truck in for repairs (estimate on 2/17) I agreed signed papers and today I followed part up to see was if parts was ordered.. whomever answered the phone had no clue where the paper work went and decided to tell me repairs are being scheduled past the middle of April. ( although was told anywhere between 2-3 weeks Now honestly speaking who wants to wait that long after a hit and run accident on Thursday February 13th so professionalism went down by the waist size... actually I do not recommend them at all...had better service when it was ELMOS

I have brought my car to Carubba Collision twice for body work. Their work is exemplary, the staff is very courteous, and their prices are fair. The folks at Carubba were very kind, compassionate and helpful. My daughter was in a accident and the car was towed before I got to the scene, upon talking to the insurance company they recommended Carubba, so blindly I went with it. Within a day someone from Carubbas main office contacted me. The first question she asked was is everyone ok? Ultimately the car was totalled, when I went to get my personal belongings out of it, I walked in and told the lady at the desk why I was there, again the first thing I was asked is everyone ok? As we were cleaning out the car, I began to get pretty upset, it was the first time I was seeing it in person and the reality of what could have been the outcome was overwhelming...Then the rain started, a young working in the garage must have took notice. He came out of the garage and approached us, he asked me are you ok and handed me a papertowel, when he asked is everyone else ok and took a few minutes to listen to me complain about distracted drivers. They really seem to genuinely care about the customer, its not just about making money.

I was concerned about the type of damage I had. The outside roof line had been deeply creased when my roof rack ripped off the car. The work truly looks like new. The crew did an amazing job. I will go back

Second time my wife and I have used this place and theyve been absolutely wonderful both times. Repair done quickly and perfectly. This time the car was hit by a city vehicle and Carubba was also able to immediately figure out the somewhat odd pre-estimate thing we had and work around it.

After waiting 3 weeks for another company to give me an estimate, a friend highly recommended Carubba. I had an estimate the same day I took it in. My car was repaired within 3 days! I picked it up this evening. Not ONLY did they repair the damage but they ALSO cleaned the inside and out AND out one of my wind guards on that was pulled off!!! These guys went above AND beyond!! The actual cost was more than twice the original quote and it took over a week to complete the work.
Took over 5 weeks to for them to fix my dent. They told me they had a big influx of cars, and wouldnt give me a rental since I am only 23. Customer service was okay, they dont seem to have answers and I was promised a call back a few times and never got a response. After many hundreds in Uber and lift rides, I would recommended sending the money and going somewhere else.
