Salespeople are just dumb and lie fogs will take your down payment and two weeks later you still don’t have car never heard of such a thing sign by the green arrows. Ok not our fault the person that did it put the arrow in the wrong place will never buy from this place again. They messed up the first financial place that approved my son to long on a process on this buy.

I started coming to Fogg’s with our fleet vehicles at work; and have gotten to know Scott and Rick well over the last year. They are both very helpful and get our trucks in very quickly and back on the road as fast as they can. Rick is an amazing tech and goes above and beyond to fix whatever we break. I recently brought my two personal vehicles in for routine oil changes and tire rotations and the service was great and communication was spot on as always. I had a really wonderful experience with Pete at Foggs. I had scheduled a diagnostic/repair appointment. After the problem was found to be an expensive repair, Pete was kind enough to take the time to look up information on state warranties regarding mileage and repairs as he noticed I had recently purchased the car. Pete didn't have to do that!! He could have just handed me the bill and went on with his day. But instead, he took time to explain things to me in detail so that I had the correct information to bring to the dealer and get it fixed for free, through the dealer. Pete was an absolute lifesaver!! It's so rare these days that someone will be honest with you when they could have just taken your money or left you with a broken car!! I am beyond grateful for this and I will absolutely be going to Foggs for any future reapirs!!! THANK YOU PETE!!!
I had a wonderful experience with Fogg s. I was unsure if I could get a vehicle due to my poor credit. Shelby the person assisting me walked me through the entire process and made me feel at ease. They spoke to me about what vehicles I qualify for and what documentation I needed. I did not think I would qualify for anything or get a vehicle on the same day. Fogg s worked through the hurdles and got me qualify for a vehicle at a very good rate. They handled all the paperwork and logistics on there end. I did have to wait a few hours, but it was definitely worth it. I was able to secure car insurance on my own and drive off the lot with my new vehicle. I highly recommend Fogg s to anyone with no credit, poor credit, rebuilding credit, or even good credit. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I am grateful to Fogg s for their assistance. I thought I would never get a vehicle and now I drive a 2022 Nissan Altima with 33,000 miles on it. This place is legit and definitely worth it!

Every time I have dealt with Fogg s, it s been a headache. I had made an appointment for today at 3:30 for an inspection and service. I left work early today to get there. I called a few minutes ago and told them I d be a little late. The guy was extremely rude when he picked up the phone. He said that my appointment was scheduled for 3:00 even though the lady told me it was for 3:30. He said it d be too late and didn t let me explain the situation. Everyone is rude and unprofessional.

The serpentine belt in my 2009 Toyota RAV4 broke while driving on the highway. Had the car towed to Fogg s and they were able to fix it ASAP. Great service and communication, would recommend them to anyone!

Deceitful, deceptive and dishonest. Foggs sales department can and do lie efficiently & effectively without concern. Purchased vehicle that had never been in an accident only to discover after the car was hit and totaled it not only had but was repaired with used parts from a different make. Which meant insurance would not cover that damage and I ended up paying out of pocket. Go to CarMax! They work with the buyer, everything from credit, to warranties. Foggs

During the sales process, I was given a we owe for 4 new tires and mounting, a year and a half later I called to redeem it and had zero issues. They scheduled the appointment for a day/time that worked for me, I was in and out even faster than they said I d be and honored the we owe as I didn t pay a dime. Sales and service are top notch, what more can you ask for, highly recommend!
On time appointment. Comfortable waiting area. I was a little disappointed to find out - after the vehicle was off the lift that it was due for brake fluid replacement. Oh well next time I have the oil changed.

Peter was fantastic and his crew everyone was polite and explaining what was wrong with my car was outstanding he took time to make sure that we understood what was going on Iwhen they told me the day that I was going to be done they where on point I will go again with no hesitation however they should have coffee and snacks available at the waiting area but everything else was outstanding
I recently had a vehicle die out on me and this was the first place i called the got me in fast and i left with a new car only about a week later they were fast with getting me in and out and they had amazing service all around!

Sold a P.O.S that was broken. Where do I begin? Well let s see, right off the bat they sold me a car with a back door that only opens from the outside and not the inside so broken door. Secondly way overprice vehicle as it had 60k miles on it, was 5 years old and it was a Nissan. Cheapest car sold in America. They even tried to up charge me on some Electric insurance and naturally no one is gonna willing spend an extra 2k on it but of course naturally with this shitty car there would be. Oh let s not forget to mention the worn down broken windshield whippers. Near bald tires and brakes that were just at the point of needing a replacement. All thing they naturally wanted to try and charge me to fix even though they literally sold it to me that way, although my fault for not truly checking everything in the first place. This place just takes advantage of struggling people needing a car to make money off them while selling them near lemon cars. I will say though. The sales representative was such a sweetheart and was very helpful. Only positive thing out of this whole experience.
Dropped my car off around 8-8:15 for an oil change. Customer service is 5 star, my car was done within an hour, and the guys in the service department are always very nice!

We had an appointment to look at specific vehicle. When my husband arrived they ran his hard credit check for approval and once we were approved they made us aware that vehicle isnt available. Drove the 30 minute drive there and got the approval FOR NOTHING. If you are dishonest in the first step of purchasing the vehicle I obviously will not continue my car buying journey with you. I have been texting with Jessica all day about the Chrysler Pacifica and planned to come down. Drive 45 minutes to get here to walk in and be told that it sold 45 minutes ago. Jessica unfortunately was unavailable to see. So they sat me with someone else to tell me the news. Jessica didnt even tell them I was coming and the manager was extremely rude.
Very disappointed that they are not an organization that keeps their for life programs sacrosanct. As a customer we have to strive to keep them to live up to their commitment. They double check a customer who has been for years under a for life agreement, then make them feel that this was not a benefit of the original sale, but a kindness that they arbitrarily bestowed upon the customer. They demonstrate their lack of relationship with their customer, by double checking the veracity of their original agreement with them, and then decide, based upon their records alone, if they will continue to honor their original agreement, which was the Hallmark of their original radio ads. When a promise and agreement is made for life, it should be honored without question. Foggs has made me feel that as their customer, that by seeking to keep the original agreement, that I am somehow taking advantage of them, and the disposition of those servicing my vehicle, visibly show that they are exasperated, and disinterested in displaying the courtesies normally associated with friendly and good customer service.
I have been dealing with Shelby. What a wonderful person to deal with very helpful. WILL be going back to deal with her in the very near future. She knows just what Im looking for. I know she will find what im looking for. I have a recommend her very very helpful. Also have dealings with Pete in service department very helpful and appreciated all his help thank you so much. I purchase my car from fogs two months ago, 2020 Buick with 55,000 miles.. I was driving to work on Monday and the hood of the car started smoking .. I had to get it towed .. I haven t had a car since Monday, I tried to call foggs and the lady Denise who sold me the car and no one will get in touch with me , how convenient . I m still under warranty and I m being told that they don t have rental for me to use and I need to figure it out . I m very much over the car at this point and it s a crime to pay more than a dime is a scam. I put a lump-sum amount of money down . FYI

A true shady dealer. Make sure you read everything you are signing because they will lie to you to get the sale done. They tell you that the car is covered for any issue that may arise, but when something happens, oh that may not be covered.

I reached out to this dealership because they said they would work with people who have bad credit. Jessica informed me they have a program specifically for these situations. I drove 45 minutes to go and they are just like every other dealer, they run your credit and say bye. Such a mistake, avoid this place at all cost.
Fogg s Automotive service department absolutely puts every mechanical service provider to shame, including (especially) the dealerships. Josh at the front desk, and Jim in the technician bay, take care of ALL of our family vehicles. They are unfailingly professional, polite, and thorough. They always do what they say they ll do, and beyond. Wouldnt take our vehicles anywhere else.

People are very friendly however, it is advertised that they work with you with little to no credit and little to no down payment and that was not the case. I was told since I didn t have any credit they could not sell me a car and said that I would be expected to pay $400-600/month when their websites has cars listed for as low as $180/month. They also expected $2,000+ for taxes and fees basically the down payment. At any other dealership I would totally understand but if your whole advertisement is that you work with people with little to no credit and say that there are little to no down payments then why are the employees saying different?

I feel like my final Sales person ,Shelby, was great and we could make it happen. But I had gone in the previous day, and sat with another sale person, who apparently didnt file out some of my information right so I had to re fill it out. He said he 100%could get me in a car that I test drove pior to running my credit. It was late so he said they would take my car in trade in but I had to bring it in which was going ro be a pain. They didnt even look at my car the next day when I brought it in. It was a 1.5 hr drive for me to get it in. They said just on miles they wouldnt take it. Which mean that was a huge headache for me I could have avoided. I also felt like outside of Shelby the other people were just really short and I wasnt important for them. So much for VIPtreatment lol But Shelby was good at explaining thing and I was able to work it out to get into a nice car. Shelby saved my experience here.

Drove over an hour to get here . Was told I was pre-approved only to get there and have them tell me , sorry , can t help you . They should have said it s not guaranteed or at least pulled my report before you get there . Very bad business They also lie about what s on your credit report . Went to Wally s in East Greenbush , was approved right away.
After my visit, I felt that the salesman dismissed the fact that I ve explicitly stated, multiple times, we were only there to test drive a vehicle, not to finalize anything or leave the premises in a vehicle; that we were simply shopping around at dealerships to see the offered selections. Still, personal information was nearly processed in the computer as if they wanted to lock us in. Thankfully, we had a third-party speak with them, on a call, stating that gathering any data aside from handing over a driver s license was completely unnecessary to test drive one or more of their vehicles. As a former saleswoman myself, it should be rule of thumb not to push potential clients, directly or passive-aggressively, to conform to anything that doesn t align with their wishes or demands. Listening carefully, negotiating and meeting clientele needs are the main priorities, especially to maintain long-term relationships. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this dealership to family or friends.

The sales staff was great, from our salesperson (fittingly named after a racecar) to the paperwork people! They explained everything well, and everything went very smoothly. The cars (yes; we bought two!) were ready as promised, and we were both very happy with the whole experience!
I dont like giving bad reviews and I dont give very many. There is definitely room for a lot of improvement here. I made an appointment for 3:00 to look at a car. I was told to have a seat... An hour and 10 minutes later no one had gotten to me and I had to be somewhere. They lost a definite sale because I was definitely buying that car. I end up getting the same car basically with 30,000 less miles on it at a different dealership for $3,000 less. A few days later because they have a sign out that says we will buy your car. I took my Prius back to see what they would give me for it. The appraiser who buys cars wasnt there. They looked at the car they took my name and number and I never got a call back. Im sure everyones experiences are different. Theres a lot of good reviews for this place, but like I said on that particular day they definitely failed.

I missed an appointment and they worked with me to get me rescheduled and my service was done well and my wait time was minimal. The staff as always were polite and very helpful.

Couple of things about my experience with Foggs. The two people I worked with were very nice. The issues I did have was that they posted a price on the web site for a vehicle I liked and that wasn t the price for the car. This wasn t the folks I was working with fault, but I still didn t like that they tell you a price on the website but it isn t the price. We went back and forth on the price of the car like you do when you haggle about cars and after a while we settled on a price and we shook hands on that price. My wife and I had to leave so we said we would be back later that afternoon to sign the paperwork and pick up the car. When I returned to pick up the car the price on the contract was not the price we agreed to so I asked about it. The sales person I worked with went to his boss and asked him about it and his response was they had forgotten about a couple of things. Now I will say it was only about 6 or 8 dollars difference a month (adds up over the contract)but how can you just forget about this stuff, isn t this your job? I believe when you shake a man s hand and agree to a price that should be the price. Shame on the sales person for not going back to his boss and saying I already shook this man s hand and agreed to the price we negotiated. I could have left the deal on the table but just felt like I was too far into to start again. I will not go back to them and if you do business with them watch what they are doing.

1. No one here speaks good English 2. They refuse to speak to you over the phone. I was asking for a preapproval before driving over an hour to their lot, and the answer i was given was our sales team only works with our actual customers .. because being on the phone meant I wasnt a real customer. 3. I called half a dozeen times, asking in regards to specific vehicles listed online with no pricing (which is sketchy, do they just make up prices as they go?) The staff is rude and contradictory. Some girl that answered the phone everytime. 4. The whole situation felt illegit. Telling me i cant be verified over the phone? MY BANK can verify me. Why cant i speak to a sales rep over the phone ! THEY ARE SKETCHY AND RUDE! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE 5. i was instantly approved by multiple other dealers online and via the phone and was easily able to browse inventory , WITHOUT driving to speak to some rude middle eastern staff that spoke over top of me and refused to treat me like a customer on the phone. Their cars are over priced and high miles
Only needed nys inspection. It was complete in record time with no issues.
Two incomes and decent credit, denied because we don t have 1800 down or a co-signer. The whole aura changed when they found out we didn t have $1800.00 for fees. Claimed that they have nothing for us, which is ridiculous. I ve been approved before with worse credit through major chains

I had a 5 star review until my most recent purchase from Fogg s. They sent us off with an expired registration, have no title, according to dmv our registration is expired. The dealership is suppose to handle all dmv paperwork since they charged for it. Now they are not answering the phone and we are being forwarded to voicemail with no call backs. Very disappointed and upset, it s been weeks and still not resolved and riding around with an expired registration. I am beside myself with the lack of communication. It s funny how when you re about to buy something they re right there but now that they ve taken our money and there s an issue there s no one to be found. Bad business, bad bad bad. I thought you guys were better than this, Isaac and others involved are really making what should be a positive process, be a negative one. This was suppose to be a seamless process, even when it is handled it still hasn t been a 5 star experience for sure.

went in as a 21yo female with decent credit and the salesman asked general questions about what i m looking for had no specific cars in mind just something affordable (200-250) a month and he kept pushing to get me into cars that would be 350-500 a month. left and never returned just don t listen to customers

I bought a car at Foggs this week Tom was awesome though the whole process very knowledgeable if you can finance though your own bank the rates are high the reason for the 4 stars was when I test drove the car there where floors mats when I finally picked up car Tom says this car doesn t come with floor mats after spending almost 28k I have a nice car but had to spend another $200 on floor mats . Seems so minimal

Just bought my car from here, the staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend this dealer if you have bad credit and need to help build it back up. The finance rental cars, so the maintenance records are usually clean, and free of accidents. No problems with this company at all. (Update 10.31.2019) Had to have engine swap done at 72k, not even a month later my O2 sensor dies for the 4th time. Warranty on the part only covers the original part, manufacturer defect and they want $600-$950 to correct the problem. I will never be buying a car from this place, between them, and Lia Nissans crooked dealings, they have completely turned me away from owning another Nissan product. Update 03.2024 The service department is my only reason to come here, I drive from cobleskill (48 miles away) to get my service done here. The service managers are great, and very practical.
