Nice people, excellent customer service
Efficient and quick service with battery purchase and installation.
It's a good place to get the stuff that you need for your vehicle!, whatever that may be! The staff is knowledgeable & friendly there! Their prices seem decent for the most part! I would recommend this place for your automotive needs!
Needed a new battery. Quick service desk help and the associate had it on his cart and waiting for me at the door! Less than 15 minutes and then on my way.
I'm only giving 5 stars for the gentlemen who installed my battery. The guy looking up my battery was an idiot, he didn't put in my correct vehicle because he apparently didn't think everything that came out of my mouth mattered (now you know Chevy had two completely different models in 2016) and butted into the conversation I was having later with another employee about the correct battery, we weren't even talking about the battery on the counter, we were talking about the previous one that wasn't the one I needed and he goes "Yeah that's the right one right there." It's like calm down buddy, your lack of masculinity is showing. The guy who installed my battery was an angel, other guy was a straight up tool.
I have been a customer since they opened here in SGF. The comment about Shannon is unjustified. She has always been most helpful and friendly and courteous. I look forward to seeing her when I visit the store-. The other employees there ( I don't want to give names because I might overlook someone) are likewise in attending to my needs. People who read this should not be mislead- good old-fashioned home town service will be found there at every visit!
Really an off-putting unpleasant experience. The Middle aged blonde woman, receipt says "Shannon W." Was extremely rude. I was just picking up an online order for one item, literally the easiest thing I could've come into the store for, and she still made the experience unpleasant.
BUYERS BEWARE: BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE OPEN UP ALL OF YOUR PARTS IN FRONT OF THE EMPLOYEES TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE THE CORRECT PARTS THAT YOU ARE BUYING THAT ARE DISPLAYED ON THE BOX!!! I bought a $5.99 oil filler cap for my 1993 Chevrolet. When I got home I opened the box to put it on the car as I had lost, or so I had thought lost, the oil cap. The cap that was in the box did not look anything like the cap on the picture, but I figured it was ok as it seems common these days with so many interchangeable buyers and sellers behind the scenes. Anyway, I looked for my original cap and didn't find it, but as I was putting the new one in maybe one turn tightening it, I found the other cap behind the engine stuck to the firewall. I cleaned off a small amount of oil that got on it with soap and water, and put the oil filter cap I had purchased back in the box with the receipt to bring back to the store. A couple days later I brought it into the store, and the employee said that the cap in the box is not the one from their store and he wouldn't allow me to return it. I spent a half hour to return a $6 oil filler cap, but that's not the point. I felt terrible being accused essentially of stealing or trying to rip off Advance Auto parts, a store that I thoroughly appreciate and have used for over 30 years, when it was Parts America and Western Auto. Thank goodness the manager had some sense and believed me and processed the return in 30 seconds. I have nothing against Advance Auto parts, and nothing against the employee that gave me a hard time. He seems like a nice kid, but he's a little too strict with the rules, especially over a $6 part. I worked in customer service and retail and the amount of commotion caused by that far outweighed the $6 that you would have lost in an illegitimate scheme. And, if I was trying to scam Advance Auto Parts over $6, there would be something seriously wrong with me. So, my advice is, and what I'm going to do from now on is open up the boxes at the counter before I pay for them and make sure everything matches the pictures on the box.

This location has no idea what customer service is. Id recommend going to their Queensbury location or better yet OReillys just down the road as they are both wonderful.
The guys there, Scott and I think TJ really went out of their way to try to help me. They both, especially Scott, really bent over backwards for me. A customer that came oto the store really tried hard to help. Eventually AAP didnt have the part I needed. Another customer, Kenny, just so happened to have the alternator I needed on an engine at his home. He went home and got the alternator and came back and gave it to me. All I had to do was promise to pay it forward. Which I have done in the past, and will do again as soon as the opportunity arises. Thank you to everyone involved!
Always ready to help with finding the parts I need. Especially sorting thru the air filters.

To the manager, for the sake of returning business, dont charge a customer for a car battery and pull and render the wrong battery, makes no logical sense. when a customer walks out that door with the impression he can trust that he spent his hard earned currency on people they trust, trust goes out the window. To the public, when buying here, make sure your leaving with what you pay for, dont assume. I assumed and walked out with a new wrong battery that I litterily should not have had to come back for.
Although googles location is 4 miles off, This is why I shop advance auto, By far gentlemen all the way. They welcome you, they will if they have time socialize about the automotive industry and are Competent in checking for codes, installing wipers ect. Auto zone employs the rudest people in the world right off the street with no automotive exp. Always spend your currency at advance auto. Any vehicle made after 2005 needs a relearn adjustment by a set of procedures when disconnecting or replacement of your battery, if power is supported prior to battery replacement, no adjustments need to be made for the fuel trim and other computer management settings remain in place.
Helped me through fixing my vehicle many times. They also do a military discount!
