I purchased my vehicle with $6000 down and my trade in only to have the transmission slip after two days so transmission was replaced but the transmission was bad so as I was driving only 3 days after first transmission was replaced my car went into limp mode while driving and had to be put on flatbed. Again a transmission was replaced then two weeks later my check engine light came on so I plugged in to code reader and my catalytic converter was bad. Took vehicle to service an hour drive away for them to tell me come back Friday they had to order part, Friday part was replaced but in doing so cracked another part so I sat 7 hours to be fixed. Service department is excellent but my vehicle was part of hurricane down South and I was never informed it was submerged in water. So for me to put $6000 cash and my trade in needless to say not impressed. I also have dings in windshield and if course never a call back to replace since my purchase.

Honestly not a great experience. The whole place is full of men who felt pushy, didn’t want to explain things before trying to make us sign for a deal we didn’t accept. I also heard a few of them make derogatory/racist remarks about certain groups of people. They also didn’t have the title to the car we bought, and we had to come back a month later to straighten that out. Honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone going to this location. I can’t speak for all of their locations but this one is a no for me. We bought a car for my husband at an awesome Subaru dealership and the difference in how we were treated and the way they went about things, this place felt very fishy and made me uncomfortable
So i bought my 2015 Chevy Suburban in Feb 2024, & it was great for quite a while, Romeo Auto made sure it was above par before we first took it til November 2024 when it started having electrical issues that were apparently common for the mileage and vehicle that it is. Joe in service & Andy the tech were absolutely amazing to deal with & while the repairs were very costly, Joe allowed Andy to explain everything thoroughly & worked so much above & beyond to make sure we could do the repairs & keep the price as reasonable as possible & affordable as possible. After 2 1/2 months of electrical issues & headache, they got the job done, kept me in the loop the whole time & made it comfortable to handle even with as stressful as things were. So much thanks & respect to them & all they’ve done & i will definitly continue to bring my vehicle back to them & continue to buy future vehicles from Romeo Auto thanks to Joe & Andy! I had an awesome experience with Nita and Kevin who went out of their way to get me into a car in my price range on the same day my old car died. They worked with me to keep getting my payments down lower and lower until it was perfectly manageable. The overall attitude and “customer first” approach was what was well worth the time and money to go here.

I’ve been going to the shop since I purchased my vehicle from Romeo auto group as the transition between them and the warranty I bought from Romeo always works seamlessly. I live in Bolton Landing and drive all the way down to the carriage. Trader service off exit 17 of the Northway. Every single time that I’ve gone down there for any work other than an oil change, I have had to bring the vehicle back for some reason or another. One time I had work done on the front end of my truck and they bent the dust cover for the brakes and it grind it all the way home and I had to turn around so they could fix that. On another occasion they used a hammer to hit my aluminum rim off my truck and took a chunk out of it, which ended up being of three day event Where at one point, I drove all the way down there only for them to tell me they have not gotten the tire back from the repair shop. Somebody could’ve just called me and said that before I drove all the way down there. And this very last time I brought the truck down for warranty work on tire rods and whoever put my truck on the alignment machine didn’t make sure that the wheel was straight so I had to drive back down there so that they could do the alignment properly. On top of all that, although they got me in when I showed up on site, they did not even have my appointment in the book that I had made the week before. I will say After I posted a review a while ago about my rim being damaged somebody from Romeo contacted me apologizing and they did provide me with a $50 gas card for Stewart’s which I thought was very nice. Unfortunately, I every time I’ve had to go down there to have something else done. I sit there and lose money so all these return trips have cost me quite a bit more than the $50 gas card. And yes, they have made everything right but when you have to constantly drive down a second or third time even for that to happen, it becomes more than frustrating. Usually, Google gives an option to not post publicly and to allow the business to Handle it privately before the review goes public. I wonder how many times I’m gonna give that as an Option before I post publicly with pictures which I do have of the damage to the rim. This was a $66,000thousand dollar truck that I bought and I own a business and I’m always in the market for vehicles. The Purchasing of the truck was very smooth and I have no complaints as far as that goes, but the service that has gone along with it has been awful Also remember that this is a very brief overview of the things that happened. I would think as a business owner, the opportunity to have a young company continue to buy vehicles off me would be a driving force to go above and beyond To do exceptional work. He even pulled it from another facility that had dropped the ball “outlet store”. Thank you carriage traders team for everything. The Romeo outlet store in Queensbury needs to get it together.

Four hours later I called and they have no record of the appointment and went on to say that they are having problems with it. Do everyone a favor and remove it from your website until the bugs are worked out.

I had a very bad experience with Romeo Traders. My vehicle was damaged during the sale and I had to go though many hoops to get it fixed. I m still paying on a repair ($400) for the car I traded in and they would not work with me to grace or honor that expense. I even gave them my winter tires for the trade in. Very disappointed, Shawn is bogus.
Didnt really agree with there tech about mechanical issues.been driving Chevy trucks my whole life I know when a u joint is going lol. Difference in opinion I guess
I will never ever do business with carriage traders again. 5 hrs $688.00 to put 1 brake line on a pickup. Had i been able to do it myself without a lift 2 hrs max time. Totally and completely ripped me off. I was at their mercy as the truck had zero brakes due to a hole in the brake line. Add insult to injury 20.00 surcharge to use my credit card.

Best garage in the capital district. Honest to a fault. Fast. Friendly. Reliable. You won t find better people or a company that takes care of their employees better. I drive 25 miles to get serviced here and no doubt saved 100x what the gas cost me. Dealerships and chains will rob you. Carriage traders will not.

Stuffs cars with cardboard and bondo, clears codes so they don t have to fix vehicles, employees getting drunk on the job.
Went in with a strange noise coming from under my hood and they were very polite and helpful in getting to the problem. I came here for a second opinion and I couldnt be happier that I did because Monro was going to charge me $1,000 dollars to fix an alternator belt when it was the idler pully which was only $230. Glad I trusted my gut feeling. Monro also damaged my hood and it wouldnt open without a ton of hard work and a long screw driver and Carriage Traders fixed it at no extra cost. This place is trust worthy and I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else but here.
Had to go back to back days because the tire they patched was still leaking and went back for them to say nothing was wrong. Day after that tire had to get replaced.
Bought our 2014 ram 1500 Longhorn edition from Carriage with full warranty about 3 months ago. First time i called them about 2 months ago just to have them check over a few things they made a quick appointment and got me right in. Looked over everything and fixed our alignment and couple other little things. The radio started to go out and act funny about 2 weeks ago, called em up and they got me right in to take a look, Ordered a brand new radio and made another appointment to get me right in n had it in in about a hour.

After stopping in a couple of times no contact back. Will receive contact back from the automotive department. But will not receive contact back from finance or salesman when having questions even on the warranty paperwork we received with questions but no questions to be answered. Tried stopping in was told the individuals were out. upon doing so left contact information with no contact back on and off for a couple years.
Bought a car from them and it is a beauty. Had a brake problem and they fixed it right with new parts no questions asked. Gave me a courtesy ride to and from work and had it done quick.
Matt and the service team work on all our vehicles and do amazing work! They are honest, hard working and explain everything really well. The price of their services is more than fair and I love that they work around my busy schedule. I would recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Excellent service and saved me money! Let me know only the front brakes needed to be done when another mechanic told me both front and rear were bad. Plus they saved me $150 on labor from fixing a job I had done elsewhere. Highly recommend.

Worth the price IMO. Never have any issues with the quality of the repair. Their mechanics know what theyre doing, and if theres not a loaner available, theyll give you a ride home (locally) if you need it.

I guess theyre okay the kind of slow it took them two hours for an oil change and inspection for me and when my car went in I didnt have a check engine light on and when it came out it has a check engine light so therefore I cant get it inspected until that check engine light goes out so no Id rather not ever go there again
Wasnt able to get my inspection due to them being busy and the fact that Im unable to just drop my car off and get it done whenever they could squeeze it in... Seems to be a good place though

Great People, Very knowledgeable Mechanics, friendly staff and is an all around extremely honest dealership to buy a car from! They really do sell quality used cars for both car enthusiasts and those looking for a great family or economic car. Even if you dont have perfect credit, like myself, they will go above and beyond to put you in the vehicle YOU want off their lot and not just whatever they can like most dealerships do just to make a sale. You know, when you stop because you see a car you absolutely love then end up leaving with one you just settled with due to any existing credit issues you may have... I left here with the car I went there to drive home with the presumption I was out of my mind for even trying to acquire.......

we were from out of town had car trouble and he was said he had to change the oil to fix the manafold anyways after removing the oil he only put 2 qaurts of oil back in!!!! then he had to take the dashboard off and after 1 week we had to take the car back into a shop because the dashboard fell off because lack of screws!!!! he did not put all the screws back in!!!! we had butterbeans in the glove compartment in a bag that we got from myrtle beach sc and they were missing we did not relieze it untill later on down the road. i would not recomend these crooks to aanyone!!!!because we were travling and elderly they took advantage of us.. oh yea the finally bill was $1500 that included the so call oil change!!!!!!!!
