Ali's Automotive LLC in Stillwater

Just brought car in as there was a grinding sound while driving. $486 for a wheel bearing on passenger side and car is still making the sound. They brought car back in and took the wheels back off,removed both rear brake drums with a sledge hammer,couldn't find anything. I was told to get on the north way and beat the heck out of the car and bring it back after 100 miles and they would look at it again. Been here before for minor repairs but won't be back after this nonsense,totally unprofessional and overpriced and left with the same problem I went in with.

Both guys I spoke to were extremely helpful. The gentleman that towed my car was professional and went above and beyond. Service and customer service was top notch will absolutely be using them again if/when needed!

Went to Ali's first and last time. Just for the battery replacement he charged me 287$ when I went back to talk to him his boss was so rude and told me don't come here if it's over priced. Ali is sweet talker but a rip off. I never rated any one but this one I have to do it.

There is no other mechanic for me...I have been going to Ali for six years and am always satisfied. I have had two used cars that only knew his shop and I have been so pleased with his service, integrity, fair prices and trust that I bought my current car from him directly. Highly recommended!!! Ali is wonderful! He makes sure your repair needs are met quickly and met well! He can repair any problem with short notice and takes care to be sure the job is well done. His prices are very reasonable. His work ethic is above par and his service is fast and friendly!! You can't go wrong if you bring your car to Ali!

We LOVE Ali! He is professional, quick and thorough. And best of all, he doesn't rip you off like those big franchise auto shops. He is an honest businessman and that is so hard to find these days!! He does our oil changes, brakes, and state inspections for us; he even repaired our snowblower this winter. He's AWESOME! He takes care of all of our cars for us and we have referred all of our family and friends to him!! Thanks Ali!

My family and I have been going to Ali's Automotive for many years...when he moved from Ballston Spa to Stillwater so did we. The service at Ali's is fantastic. Ali has always taken care of our cars and we recommend him to anyone who asks "do you know a mechanic?" The service is personal and and the prices are very fair. When you bring your vehicle to Ali for a specific repair, that's the repair that gets done...as opposed to other service centers that surprise you with the 10 other things they "just happened" to find. I would strongly recommend that if you need anything from an oil change, inspection, minor or major repair that you go to Ali's Automotive for your work.

He kept all the old parts by request so we could see what was wrong with them. Definitely made my dad feel better. Very honest and hard working. Gotten all my parts fixed there on my current car and location is perfect. Overall, absolutely fantastic service.
