Worst company ever.

Had a great experience with Stillwater towing. The driver was nice and funny, helped make a stressful situation better!

Driver damaged our wheel while replacing a flat with a compact spare. Stillwater towing refuses to answer multiple requests to reimburse for new parts and labor

I would call this person racist, I went for a car and I ended up getting offended for not being able to perfect English, sad in this case.

WARMING WARNING WARNING they will robbed me. I am gone sue them because no notice I got them while they just keep my car one month.

I would give a negative star if I could. I was in an accident. I was rushed off in an ambulance they didnt ask if u had someone to get my bike. They called stillwater towing. Who charged me $489 bucks to tow it less than 3 miles to there lot. How in the heck do you come up with those numbers? Less than 3 miles for a motercyle that was set up on its kickstand stand by good Samaritans who stopped to help me?

Call another tow company! This place comes up with prices....almost like they want to teach a lesson! My daughter got into a situation where her car was stuck. She needed help and didnt have means to pay on the spot. They towed it less than a mile to their lot. The car was on their lot for less than 24 hours and they charged us $576 cash to release it. Shameful!

Outstanding service! I broke down in Woodbury. Called AAA and Tow Truck arrived quickly, which was surprising as it was rush hour! My vehicle was immediately loaded and away we went. I live in Wisconsin so I was very thankful my car was able to be taken to my mechanic! Broderick was very professional and courteous! He did a fantastic job!

Jeremy was courteous and very quick in the response, even quicker than he originally thought. He genuinely was happy to help with getting the spare tire on, which helped put everyone at ease in a stressful situation.

Stillwater Towing is a scam. Its just there to take money from the unwitting taxpayer who decided to visit his friend one day and unbeknownst to him a parking spot with no signage to indicate that I could not park there. Overnight is a perfect trap for any unwitting soul to fall victim to.

Horrible business which charged me for a service which was already paid for by aaa, knowing that it was already paid for. When I called, the person told me theyd reverse the charge. They didnt, so I had to get my credit card company and aaa to get the money back for me.

The tow truck showed up sooner than expected, which made me very happy. The tow driver was very friendly and knew how do his job efficiently. Would definitely recommend!

Poor customer service

Terrible. The manager has a nasty attitude and says a lot of the time thats not my problem. I would not recommend this place to anyone and all they care about is getting your money first and solving the issue. Definitely would not be comfortable having my kid being picked up by stillwater towing because I would feel like theyre being put in an unsafe place. I want to give this is zero star because of the bad service.

Dont recommend them at all. A customer of ours sadly had his vehicle towed here for a temp tag and no insurance ,they asked me to call in since they dont speak English. I got answered by a rude owner I didnt call for other information then to find out what they needed to bring to get the car out. He stated he couldnt give me information which was fine I explained they didnt speak English and just wanted to know what to bring at that point he wasnt interested in helping out so he hung up. Today they went to pick up the vehicle and he laughed at them because they were there again and didnt understand what he said. One of the also told me he yelled at them yesterday. We had a tow company before aput used car dealership and I would never treat my customers like that especially knowing they dont understand. (Owner Please remember this is how you get your income and not because someone is a different race than you doesnt make them any less then you ) !!!

Drove 2 hours to come clean my car out after it was towed here after hitting a deer while out of town. I got here. No one here. So I called the number on the door. They said to wait in the office. Office person comes in and says they don t do anything with towing call the number. I said I did they told me to wait in the office. He tells me to call the number again. I did. They said you should have called first. I said I did. I made an appointment for 2:30. They replied well that was only 15 minutes ago. Someone might show up. terrible company. Really shows the power of a monopoly.

Gouge and take advantage of people! My daughter was in an accident in Stillwater. They charged her twice of what s any other towing company would charge and only towed her car 2 miles. The car was totaled and she had no choice. Do not use them!

Had an issue with one of their drivers. I called the office, explained the issue and was told it would be addressed.

Worst towing company. They wont tell you how much they charge until they pull up and then after work done, they charge you very high and threaten to take your tractor if you dont pay the high charges. They are thieves run away Truckers.

We were just coming back from vacation and my car stalled in the middle of highway 36! This guy was our lifesaver, and arrived even before the police! Had to get my car towed back to my apartment, and I had specifically asked that they leave the key under the mat in my car and lock it, as I have a spare key. I found my car parked completely crooked, taking up two spaces in the lot of my apartments, key LEFT IN THE IGNITION, and the doors UNLOCKED! Completely unprofessional and embarrassing for your business. Learn how to do your job.

Owner was super rude... Im sure he deals with unhappy people a lot, so a little kindness on his end wouldve helped... Not many choices for this service in that area, but worth looking around for something better.

My experience with this company has been horrible I requested a toll that was paid for by triple a and he would not tow my vehicle / RV because it had expired tabs but the police called him shortly after to have it towed and the same driver showed up and told my RV at $350 a toll plus a $150 winching service which should be included in the tow considering the winch is attached to the tow truck needless to say by the next day when I called and asked if he had my vehicle he was very rude unprofessional and he said that I owed him over $700 for not even a full 24 hours of my vehicle sitting in his lot he then gave away my personal information to my ex-girlfriend including where I had been told from including where I had requested a tow from and began to make some kind of deal with her where I could get my personal belongings if I brought $550 plus the title to the RV and signed it over to him so in a nutshell he used the police to tow my RV and then withheld all of my personal belongings and try to strong arm rob me if you are in a situation where you can choose not to use this tow service I highly recommend you take my advice. P. S to the owner reading this you should be ashamed of yourself and yur company taking advantage of people in a predicament and then Hawking off all of their families personal belongings....

I had the misfortune of needing a tow but because of the professional and friendly person who came to my aid, everything turned out great. Young mans name was Jesse, he did an excellent job!

Gets you where you want to go

Just had a long day. Car broke down and needed an emergency tow. Stillwater Towing made it there even before the police did. Extremely professional and had my car onboard and out of a bad spot quick. Connor was a great driver and courteous man. Fees were conpletely reasonable for the service provided. Overall, they saved me a lot of stress in an otherwise unpleasant situation.

Jesse and the whole crew are professional and knowledgeable with there line of business. We had a problem with our trailer under a 28 boat at the marina and these guys were such a blessing for us! They were at our site on a Sunday solving our problems. Excellent company to do business with!!

Got an estimated time that they would be there to help me which was with in the hour. Called them after an hour of waiting to find out they didnt even left yet. (We were 15 minutes away from their business) took a whole 2 minutes to jump us after waiting almost and hour and a half.

Josh was wonderful! He was kind, professional and extremely efficient with getting the job done. I am thankful you have someone like Josh on staff!! A real asset to your company.

I ve used these guys in the past but, today one of their drivers (balding guy with beard) majorly cut me off at the light at Osgood and 36 in Stillwater. I was in a long line of traffic waiting to turn left onto 36 and as I was going their driver zoomed in and cut me off nearly hitting the passenger side where my daughter was sitting. On 36 he yells at me that I was supposed to turn at the frontage road? Wait...what?! This driver must ve been a real moron as anyone who knows this intersection know hardly anyone blocks the frontage road while on Osgood!! Learn to drive!!!!!

Battery died in Stillwater Medical parking lot. Made a call and within 5 minutes they were there and starting the car. Minimum call charge appears to be $85.

Worked go to resolve my problem and it was a pleasure to work with them

I upgraded their rating to three stars after AAA sent them again for another battery issue yesterday (11-21-20). The guy yesterday was super friendly (Josh), explained things well, and gave me some seemingly good advice. My original post: I give them two stars for calling to tell me their arrival time and being friendly. The rest is just sad. Bought a battery from them in March for the same car/same reason; bad battery. They replaced it and said the old one was the wrong amperage/voltage or whatever and sold me the one that lasted from mid March until two days ago. Guy came out to jump it and said the starter was bad. But he was able to jump start it. Not being quick witted about it, I just nodded and thanked him for the help. Thought about it later and realized if the starter was bad he couldnt have jump started it. Checked on Google and confirmed that. So either he lied or is incompetent. Drove it to my usual repair place and paid for a new battery. Couldve turned it in to AAA for a replacement since it was under warranty, but the hassle and not trusting them led me to decide to just call it lesson learned: In emergency Ill use AAA for towing and jump starting, but never buy a battery from them again, nor trust what they tell me is wrong...

Great group of people that do a great job

Stillwater towing came to my place of employment to Change out a flat tire... the driver said he didnt have the right equipment to remove my spare! Really!? He asked for my equipment and then said he still couldnt remove it and left! I dont think he even tried.

The gentleman from Stillwater Towing came quickly, had a great attitude (I didn t catch his name, he stated he was from Oklahoma), and went above and beyond to get my car home on one of the coldest days of the year. Turned the end of an awful day into a great experience!

Rude people. Overly priced. Got into an accident and they towed our car without consent. 500 dollars and are only open 2 hours Sat and Sun, with an extra 50 dollars a day fee. This place is horrible and will rob you.

These guys are awesome! We use them frequently for our business and they do a great job for us every time. Never anything they have not been able to rescue for us.

Rude Drivers. Triple A should not use them. We were told they would call when there were on the way and they never did. The driver told me he does not have to do anything because he is the driver. This attitude cost him a twenty dollar tip. Very bad Customer service do not use them.

They charged $480 for a simple tow and when questioned about the extra $150 fee tacked on for special equipment needed (wench) they refused to give an answer. This is a dirty outfit!!!!

Ron the tow man was INCREDIBLY sweet and pleasant to work with. They were also very QUICK and RESPONSIVE to any questions I had. I recommend this place to those who don t know who to trust or rely on!

Locked my keys in my work van yesterday. Called Stillwater Towing and they were they within 15 minutes to unlock it so I could continue on my work day. Car broke down and called Stillwater towing and they were able to get to us within an hour on what was likely a busy and cold night. They towed the vehicle to a shop and the tow rate was very reasonable compared to other places. The driver was friendly and even though we gave them all the info over the phone he asked us when we got there all the car info and where to tow it to etc not a big deal but seems like that info doesnt get relayed to the drivers which might be nice so they dont have to ask all these questions a second time. We lived close to where the car broke down so got a ride home and they called us when the tow truck was about 5 minutes away so we wouldnt have to wait at the car in the cold. Showed up at about the same time as the driver and paid him and he bedded the vehicle and dropped it off at the shop. So overall good experience and will use them again which we did when the shop was unable to fix the vehicle so they towed us a much longer distance probably 17 miles and the rate was again reasonable.

My experience with Stillwater towing was the worst experience I have had with any company. My car went into the ditch during the large April snow storm of 2018. I had the friendly fair priced jerrys towing of Roberts on the way to retrieve my car. Stillwater towing intercepting my car in the meantime without informing me. I was first very confused as to where my car had gone and had to track it down. Once found I was told that I would have to pay more than double the price that the other company had told me I would be charge which I thought was fair. Stillwater Towing was unwilling to price match the other price I was planning on paying. Rick the owner is nothing but a money hunger thief that will nickel and dime you for every penny you have. I can not believe he charges such high prices and can sleep at night. Not to mention I am a college student that he could not help out with anywhere near a fair price. I would not recommend this company to anyone and do not believe that deserve anyones money or time of day.

Stillwater Towing has bailed me out more than once. Every driver has been kind, professional and knowledgeable. Dispatch has always kept me informed regarding ETA. Cant say enough great things about them. Thank you Stillwater Towing!

$240 for the tow+$25/day.....you can have the but refuse to let anyone collect the car seat and items inside? Owner has been incarcerated since mid month and they dont even offer some type of smaller cost to collect personal items!! Refused to give owners name to try and speak with a reasonable adult....this company needs to be burned to the ground for the karma they put out!

Hit something on Highway 94, eastbound, approximately 3 miles west of Hudson, Wisconsin at 7:30 PM, coming from the airport after a vacation. My two tires on the right side immediately flatted. I pulled over on the shoulder and called 911. Stillwater towing was dispatched and a very responsible driver arrived, towing us to our house in Wisconsin. Could not have been more pleased with the service.

Rick is probably one of the best roadside service providers that we have come across as an OTR trucking company. While his technician did not complete the repair properly, Rick stood behind the repair and the additional costs that we incurred caused by his technicians mistake. I would highly recommend him to any other carriers that need service in that part of the country. In todays world, finding owners and businesses that stand behind their work is almost impossible, and Rick proved that his reputation is more important than a short term gain. Beware! This company will rip you off!! I work for an insurance agency. Our client called Stillwater towing to get her car off the road and to a repair shop after she went into a ditch. They told her they had no one available at this time. They then went and picked up her car and took it to the impound lot. she s been charged over $700 to get it out.

Had to have my car towed out of my driveway due to an oil problem. I have AAA so they covered the cost, however, Jim the tow truck driver was incredibly nice and helpful. He went out of his way to be kind to me and I greatly appreciated it with the weekend I had. I hope his kindness and great attitude is recognized at Stillwater Towing because he could have easily just towed my truck and left it at that. He made the not so great situation I was in better and one I wont forget just by simply being a nice person. If youre reading this, thank you!

DO NOT USE Stillwater towing. They are so expensive. Take your time and find another place.

They saved me in the latest cold snap. I had a truly dead battery. Luckily I was at home when it was discovered. But how to get the new battery to my house? I called and even though they were fully booked and ready to close up shop on a Saturday, they asked their battery guy (who was already out on a call) if he was willing to do one more housecall battery installation and he said yes. Nicest guy ever shows up and replaces my battery in 10 minutes. And the pricing was by the book. They could easily have taken advantage under the circumstances but they didnt. I am eternally grateful.

Typical high priced situation to get your car released. The employees I dealt with were very patient and kind. I had memorabilia in the car and without paying the mechanic on the lot Let us get it and this before any money exchange! Great service

Had to wait over an hour and a half to get our belongings from our car because they have no attendant at the lot. Theyre main building is only 5 miles away and they had to send a tow driver to let us in. Dispatcher needs to work on his customer relation skills. Otherwise they towed our car just fine. Pretty high priced as well.

Not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about. Stillwater Towing has always been prompt, courteous, and professional. They are reasonably priced and we have used them numerous times when one our vehicles has left us stranded.

Driver Todd was very friendly and willing to help out after a fender bender. I was very happy with their turnaround and friendly service. Hopefully wont have to use them again but I know who Ill call if I do.
