Lets be honest: No one likes to have to be here, but the folks at Caliber in Troy made a not-so-pleasant process as seamless and efficient as possible. Dropping off my vehicle was a breeze, and the shop kept me informed every step of the way. My vehicle was also ready two days before the estimate (one week from drop-off to pick-up), and the work looks flawless.

I unfortunately was in need of body twice in a very short time. My insurance carrier recommended Caliber the first time and I wouldnt go anywhere else the second time. Melissa Jones was my service advisor both times. She was very professional and friendly . Both times she kept informed on progress with my car and was able to get the work completed ahead of schedule. I am very picky about my car and since I have used them I will always use them. Hopefully I wont have to!

Matt and his team went above and beyond to correct the comprehensive incident repairs made by another shop correct on my Audi. They are the NYS certified Audi repair center for Caliber so please don t let your Audi go anywhere else as I unfortunately did. They know these vehicles and the specifics that are Audi only concerns when repairing these vehicles. I was able to get a loaner during repair from a rental agency within 2 minutes driving distance. Bottom line is that Matt and his team will insure that your repair is completed to the highest level. I hope I don t need to see them again but wouldn t hesitate to go there if an unfortunate incident occurred again. Great folks !!

My first experience with Cailber and they did not disappoint. Car was ready when promised and Andrew kept me updated every step of the way. They made an inconvenient process as seamless and convenient as possible.

DO NOT recommend using this place with GEICO insurance, as they dont have mechanics on site. Left my vehicle with a lot of issues that were not present prior to accident. They just run a simple scan that can be done at auto zone.

I just had my Honda fixed here. Everything was fast and easy! I filed my claim 10/2, was in the shop 10/4 and today 10/13 they were done. When I dropped off my car it was first thing in the morning, before coffee, still upheld great customer service, even with my short half asleep answers. Everyone was patient, kind, and helpful!! I got my rental car there at the same time I dropped off my car and was able to return my rental there at the same time I picked up my car. It made things much easier. I would suggest them to anyone who needed services they offered. Hopefully I never need their services again, but if I do, I d be happy to return, not just for their excellent customer service, but my car looks great!!

Professional & Excellent Work Done by The Complete Team

From 8 months ago and 3 visits in total, I must address the most recent and the very last disturbing experience with Troy Caliber. From Matt the manager, to the associate/ mechanic Andrew behavior, the level of professionalism and customer service dropped within an instant once I came back with a complaint due to the lack of doing their job while doing something they had no business doing in the first place. No customer should have to tell any place of business how to do their job, unless theyve had experience working in the industry themselves and still that shouldnt even take place to an extent. However, nonetheless, I knew my experience was going very different once Matt thought by mentioning to call the cops was going to send me running but would in fact make it my last time of service at this location and making sure I got what I needed. During repair, instead of doing their due diligence and thoroughly making sure the vechile was returned in the same condition it was given to be worked on, one of the front vechile windows was damaged and assumed by Caliber to have tint on those windows that they damaged. There was and has not been any tint on the vechile front windows (driver or passenger window). Only the rear passenger and rear windows were original factory tinted. I physcically visited the Toyota in which the vechile was purchased, they ran the history on the truck in their records, I have picture proof of both when I first bought the vehicle from Toyota and what the percentage of each window that had tint on it was. It wouldnt have passed inspection from the original date of purchase from Toyota. Andrew, the associate/mechanic who called me about the damage done in repair and asked me about the tint, I answered in confusion because I was not aware of tint being on the vechile other than the windows that were factory tinted from Toyota (rear windows). What was done after that was not on me, despite whatever circumstance I personally was in once I picked up my vechile. It didnt dawn on me to take pictures every time I got the vehicle back from the repair shop. Why should that occur if customers chose the place of business for how they ran their business. Since my last two visits, nothing could go wrong. They come through effectively every other time, so what about this visit changed the level of understanding, professionalism, and customer service given by this place of business? All I wanted to and needed to do was get the tint removed so my NY state inspection could be passeed; and if Caliber would do the right thing and fix their wrong doing. Explaining this to Toyota and Tint Star, they both mentioned it falls on Caliber for putting tint on the vechile front windows, when there was once again, NO, tint to begin with. That was not understood by either Matt or Andrew. They both were sticking to not being in the business of doing anything with tint, but could somehow provide me with the information and location of which Tint Sar it was taken to and worked on. Yeah, it took a week to write this review, so what, this is what they do. Theyve shown their true colors, and whatever happens, speaks on the place of business and the people who run it. Clearly, its not frowned upon. It just continues to go on, and nothing gets addressed because of the right of the business and how they want to run it, right? However, theres still a service that needs to be provided in this industry, so a good review by someone else means absolutely nothing. They made it seem like I was irate, aggressive, disruptive, and just a random person whos blaming them for something they dont know they did, but thats not the case here. I came in Monday (10/30) morning greeted both Tanyas at the front desk and waited for Andrew to finish on the phone. The last location my vechile was, never did I ever have work done to the vechile since purchased last November, so how magical is it to have your vechile worked on and given back to you with something that was never there to begin with, what else does a logical sane person do?

If you need to have repair work done to your car, don t hesitate, bringing it to Caliber Collision, they are the best!

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Communication about the progress was extremely good. They had the work completed ahead of schedule. I had a very slightly misaligned panel and they got me back in within a few days and had it fixed in one day. I had an issue with a disconnected wire for my Ford s door locks inside the door panel and they were able to get me in within 2 days time and had it fixed within a half hour. Melissa was absolutely fantastic to work with. And being an ex-mechanic, I understand not everything goes 100% perfect every time, but they went out of their way to make sure everything was fixed to 100% satisfaction in an extremely timely manner. Caliber Collision is a great place. They do excellent work. And they uphold high standards. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for body work.

The hood is not aligned with the body. They quoted me, that they would use OEM parts but I really suspect they even didnt replace the hood. Part of the bumper is still broken which they claimed they have replaced.

Communication was outstanding, I received updates almost everyday about the repairs being done to my car. The staff there treated me like family and were so thorough with every detail with my car. My car looked better than the day I bought it from the dealership. Extremely satisfied with the work they provided, in a timely manner too!

They gave me a completion date and the repairs were done a week earlier. The car looks beautiful. They gave it back to me cleaner than when I dropped it off! The girls in the office are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I got a quick estimate date after the accident and they got the car in for repairs quickly. The techs really care about getting your car back to you right!

Insurance company recommended the shop and it took 90 days to have repairs done. When I got my car back, I mentioned scratches on the car and scratches to the chrome window frame on the drivers side. The employee said, we didnt touch that side of the car Then 2 days after getting the car back, my check engine light comes on??!! The car was/is Brand new and had less than 1,000 miles on it.... Now I am having to bring it to the dealership to see what they have done ... Such a mess ... Please go anywhere else for repairs!

I live 2 blocks away. They have an alarm that goes off in the evening and at 5 and 6 am EVERY DAY for months. I have called several times about it and the matter has not been resolved. I have heard several different reasons from they cant help or that its being fixed. It seems since it is not happening g during business hours they just dont care.

I couldnt recommend Caliber Collision to a friend in good faith because my most recent experience with them just wasnt worth the hassle, and it made me regret taking my car there. More specifically, my daughter got into a minor accident with my 2010 Nissan pictured below. Caliber Collision has repaired some of my other cars in the past under GEICOs Auto Repair Xpress program, so I decided I would have them do the repairs to my Nissan. Since they work directly with Geico, I thought it would be faster. At first, Caliber wouldnt even give my daughter an estimate unless I made an appointment through Geico. Geico couldnt get me an appointment with Caliber for 2 weeks, so I waited. I dropped the car off at Caliber Collision on 8/24, and I told them that I wasnt getting a rental car because it wasnt covered under my insurance. Caliber contacted me on 8/25 to say that they were coordinating authorization for the necessary repairs with Geico. On 8/29, I asked Caliber to email me a copy of their estimate, and they did. I didnt hear back from Caliber for over a week, so I requested an update to the status of my repairs on 9/6. Caliber told me that the car was disassembled and they were waiting on parts. Caliber contacted me on 9/13 to inform me that they had completed the repairs. When I went to retrieve the car on 9/13, I noticed that Caliber did not replace the radiator support or hood latch which were both damaged (Caliber later replaced the hood latch with a part that I purchased, but I was told the radiator support was good - you can see from the below photos that it was damaged and the metal is bent and deformed). There were also some plastic clips missing from the front bumper moulding (which Caliber did replace when I brought it to their attention) and the new hood that they installed does not properly align with the bumper. Overall, they did manage to fix the car, but it took them 3 weeks to do what should have taken about a week if they had the parts on hand, and I feel like they cut some corners in the repair process. Also, I shouldnt have to keep bringing it back to have things adjusted. I feel like Caliber Collision is just rushing as many cars as possible through the repair process with a casual indifference to customer service and hoping that the majority of customers wont notice their mistakes. There are a number of other body shops in the area who do quality work and provide excellent customer service. I would recommend you shop around and talk to a few of them before using Caliber Collision.

Very Hositle environment! WILL WASTE YOUR TIME. If you are a minority PLEASE avoid this establishment as much as possible. The lady who works at the front desk is disorganized and clueless of what she s doing. They treat you differently solely based on your race. My parents has language barrier and I had to translate over the phone because I couldn t physically be there. We just needed a quick inspection for our car due to an accident, back in early September. We made the earliest appointment available for a 10-15min inspection and she gave us a slot open all the way in Mid October. Took down all needed information needed, and when my parents when in today they were completely dismissive, condescending attitudes and completely clueless about the appointment. Lost all the files regarding my case, and had them wait for a while just to tell them, they ll call us back for a different day. Never received any calls or apologies. Give your money to somewhere else that knows basic hospitality and professional.

Ss not knowing another shop did the same thing for 8000, they destroyed my audi a3 and itll never be the same. Once I said Id go elsewhere he refused to put it back together and now my car panels are all loose they refuse to respond and are rude

I have been to caliber in Troy twice for body work to my vehicles. Both times the staff was very friendly+ professional. All repairs were completed in a timely manner + communication was very proactive. All rental arrangements went smoothly. Repairs were spotless. Andrew went above + beyond to touch up some minor scratches outside of the claim, as well as removing some rusted sideboards. Dont think you could have a better experience getting your car repaired!

Plan and simple they did there job

Place was great! Dave T is awesome! Tanya was great. My insurance screwed up my rental car reservation and after seeing me wait for an hour for them to call me back she went and called them and got them on the phone and got everything handled quickly! My turn around time for simple body work was so quick.

Shady shop. Cars packed in their lot like sardines, staff is rude and lie right to your face. How Andrew still works there is beyond me, this place should be SHUT DOWN.

Had to use their collision services 2 times to repair my car. The Mechanics are very good I have never had to return it for any mechanical issues and this is why I kept using them. The only issue I have is that both times they worked on the car the front bumper never fits exact so the first time i brought it back within a month they tied underneath to secure it and that worked the bumper looked good and had no issue i was happy. The second accident I had, the car worked great but again the front bumper wasn t secured so I brought it back and this time the associate who looked at it said to me ohh this is an aftermarket part they never fit well to my surprise this explains what happened before so I said well just do it like you did the last time. He said no it s under warranty and I clearly don t see any scratches nor dents on the car that would show that you hit it so I ll contact geico to get an OEM part . So i am like that s even better I didn t know it was an aftermarket part . 8 months past multiple calls went back there even spoke with Matthew the manager he said he would ve handled it with geico personally few more months past nothing from them. So I called geico at this point myself to escalate the issue to my surprise NO ONE FROM CALIBER CALLED GEICO!!!! Liars. And worst, it was. an unnecessary lie because they are the ones who made the decision to change the part all i asked them to do was to secure it like they did before!! So now I am left in the wind because i didn t take pictures back then to show no damage on the bumper and luckily to date their are still no dents nor scratches except on the mud guard. I hate liars and liars deserve 0 stars. If that was Matthews decision after his employee looked at it then all he had to do was communicate it to me rather than left me hanging thinking that Geico was the hold up. So if you want your car fixed well, I would say still take the risk BUT take a million pictures of your car after you get it back it s a good thing they documented how many times i followed up with them and 0 times they communicated to me!!

Extremely unprofessional and condescending attitude by lady who picked the phone up. Called to schedule an estimate and I kid you not the clueless lady laughed at me for I quote running around with no insurance and made up a figure of $3000 for a minor bumper repair without even looking at my car. I dont think she understands how insurance works and that collision insurance is not mandatory. These people are clowns. Very shady, avoid this place.

Very busy but very professional business. They took care of my vehicle quickly and cared about me as an individual. The body work and paint repair was showcase floor version of the vehicle.
