I was recently involved in an accident and am very grateful for Angelo who runs this shop. After my accident I left a voicemail as I called outside of business hours. The next day as soon as the shop opened he called me directly. Angelo was very kind and walked me through each step, making sure I knew I had rights and what they were. My husband and I had to get pictures done for our insurance as we got new insurance the woman I spoke to the first time I called said that I needed to call first thing in the morning the day of my appointment because of it either raining or snowing which was fine i had no issue doing that I ended up having to cancel due to personal reasons and I called back the day of my appointment and moved it the gentleman I spoke to was very nice and got me in as soon as he could. However the day of the appointment my husband got there a little early and he went in and was very rude and told him he needed to come back at his scheduled appointment time and that they couldnt take the pictures till the set time and bye bye to him and told him to go wait in the car. He had to sit there for over 30 mins for pictures and it was something that took literally 5 mins at most there is away to speak to customers and that wasnt it. My father who also went there had a very similar experience and the woman had a very bad attitude to him as well

Mother car was repaired there from a small accident. Did a very nice job on repair. Would return if something else happened.

I took my car there for an oil change and inspection. They told me they couldnt inspect the car because it needed struts and it would cost between $800 and $900. I then took it to the dealership where I was informed that struts have absolutely nothing to do with safety and they could have inspected it. But they felt it was profitable to do the oil change. I feel a rip off was taking place.!!!!!!!!!

I called about some light scratches on my truck. She asked when a good time for me to come in and have it looked at would be. I said 3 o clock after work would work for me. She said that doesn t work if I would be available in the afternoon. Because 3 o clock is afternoon I asked if she wanted it to be later. This is where she got a major attitude and replied no I said afternoon . I asked her what time frame she is looking for and she says with a continued and heightened attitude between 10 AM and 1 PM. I reply, ok so mid day . She then cuts me off and with a loud attitude says no that s afternoon like I said! I reply, ok thanks I don t need the attitude and hung up. Not only is 10am- 12noon quiet literally not afternoon , but the amount of attitude that she immediately injected into this simple conversation about trying to schedule a time to get some scratches looked at was extremely unprofessional and rude. I can t speak on the business as a whole but if this receptionist is any indication of how they conduct business then my hopes aren t high. I called this morning at 10am.

Top notch auto body and repair shop

The day after my wife got done spending hours detailing her new Jeep, we had paint work done to cover scratches left behind from the light bar that was previously on it. The Jeep was there for almost 2 weeks before we got it back. The condition was absolutely unacceptable. Dust everywhere, grease marks on the inside of her white T-tops (yes, black hand print grease marks), car seat covers covered in dirt and almost ruined, and footprints on the carpet and back seat.... the actual seat! Why were they even in the back seat of the Jeep, let alone standing on the seat?!!? Are you kidding me? I dont stand on the seats... and its MINE!!! The paint looked good, but the lack of respect they showed for other peoples personal belongings was totally unacceptable, pretty shocking, and not worth the quality of work. It took me 5 hours to detail it after we got it back. Pretty surprised seeing as how they came so highly recommended. Surprised and disappointed, I should say.

I had a fantastic experience with DiCarlos. First, I want to start off by saying that if you go to their website they have a whole section that details your rights whenever you are dealing with an insurance claim. After my car was severely damaged I decided to go with DiCarlos based on the information I found on their site. I am super glad I did because he really fought for me. He always kept me updated about the status of my car and didnt listen to my insurance company when they were being unreasonable. He even made time to meet me on a holiday weekend so that he could update me on the situation with my car. When my car was finally declared a total loss, he gave me advice on how to get a fair price and even offered to help me if I had any trouble. He is honestly a really great mechanic who really looks out for his customers. I highly recommend this shop for any work you need done with your car.

Amazing service! I needed to get a inspection and they had no issues finind time when everyone around them was pushing me off till the next day. While I was there waiting all the employees were extremly friendly and they ensure they help the customer and not demand things from them. I would recommend them at anytime!

Angelo saved our day! Driving from VT to NJ on a Friday afternoon, our car wouldnt start up after a stop at Burger King in Troy. We thought we needed a tow (to the Honda dealer, only 0.2 miles away). AAA gave us a wait time of 45-60 min., but when no help arrived after an hour we were told it would be another 45 min. The Honda dealer was going to close by then, and they suggested we call DiCarlos Autobody. Angelo could not have been more professional, helpful, and understanding. He came right over to try a jump start, it worked, and he would not accept payment. We were able to get to the Honda dealer just in time and finished our drive home that day. DiCarlo Autobody was a pleasant reminder that there are still good, honest people who care about their customers, even when the customer is just passing through.

If I could give no stars I would! I went there to get my photo inspection done and the guy was beyond rude! He told me that the cut off was 3:30pm. When I questioned it because they are open until 5:30, he told me they are open, but they can t do photos after 3:30 and bad mouthed Geico! I reported him to Geico and they confirmed that there is no such cut off. He clearly did want to be bothered. This was his time to impress and potential customer and all he did was get me to never go there again!

Great place thats been around for years. Fixed moms car that was a hit and run. Great work very friendly. Owner was awesome, came out and talked to mom and made sure everything was 100% too her satisfaction.

Avoid this shop like the plague. I went in for a NYS inspection, and it turned immediately into a flat tire. Their repair on that flat tire damaged the wheel bearing. They either did this on purpose (and are sleazy), or are incompetent. Either way, do not take your car here.

Angelo and his staff are incredible. This guy cares about your vehicle like it was his own. He hunts for better part prices and fights with your insurance company on your behalf when they try to get out on the cheap! Top notch work even on my 3 nightmares of cars I bring him LOL. Not your average repair shop. Family owned and they take care of you like family. Very reasonable prices as well, probably the lowest labor rates Ive seen in a top notch repair facility. I trust him with all my cars including the one my daughters drive and theyve never let me down.

Great service. Honesty and integrity. My 74 year old mother was told by the Goldstein dealership that she needed new rotors and brake pads at the cost of $425. Angelo said the rotors were absolutely fine and it just needed pads. Saved her around $300.

Great place to go for any body work. If you are looking for a place to go where the job will be done right and in a timely manner, then go to DiCarlo Auto Body. They are very helpful when dealing with insurance companies, friendly and really know their stuff.

They want you to replace everything including some parts can be fixed well. If you do not replace everything they point out, they will not serve you with good temper. Be ready to get your car back by having big gap between fender and bumper.

Not only are the DiCarlos good people, but they have done exceptional work on several cars my family has brought to them. They got the work done in a timely manner and wouldnt accept no for an answer from my insurance company when it came to getting the parts needed to complete the job. My car came back in perfect condition, and they even detailed it for good measure after I had mentioned my lease was expiring soon and I was going to turn it in shorty after the work was complete. They didnt have to do that, but they made sure it looked brand new, inside and out.
