My kid is in school in Troy and she does not have much experience dealing with car repairs. I've stuck her with an old car that has encountered issues and these guys have been great to us. Joe was honest about what needed to be done, communicated options effectively, and stood by his work. I'm grateful that my kid has a trusted place to go when car problems arise.

The whole team is amazing Tyler is a gem, Richard is charming and very knowledgeable and Joe clearly runs a tight ship! The most fair prices you will find. They fixed up my Camry on a cross country trip fast so i could get back on the road in just a day.

I brought my car in here and my car is old got a lot wrong with it they gave me a good deal on my front brakes and rotors and wheel bearing in the back very nice people definitely willing to work with you if they can

I dont write many reviews, I really don't, but these guys always do right by me, and I absolutley will reccomend them to everyone. They do honest, hard work, don't bull around, don't waste your time, and always put their service first, theyre personable, kind folks that deserve more than 5 stars, google won't let me give more than that, but they deserve it. The best part is the sheer amount of CONNECTIONS they have, you need a tow? They got someone. You need body work? They got someone. The service is always fast, and its always done right.

We have been going to freds for our car needs for years now. Joe is great and very helpful. This is not the type of shop to scam or take advantage of women. You can walk in here knowing nothing about cars and Joe will walk you through the situation and even show you what's going on if he's able.

NEVER AGAIN. Very disappointing. Not recommended for any auto repair. Only good for tires and thats all! A $350 job turned into a $2,800 job (they thought). Just sloppy all around. Weird way to do business for a returning customer. Also had multiple guys work on my truck so communication was poor. Had to get a simple fuel pressure sensor and wire (which they had to drop the gas tank) and they somehow messed up and said I needed a whole new transmission. Had to constantly call about updates on my truck. Completely careless and poor customer service to the max. Lessoned learned, NEVER have your vehicle get fixed in a tire store. If you do want a good price on tires, see Teto. He will work with you but other than that, not recommended for any other services. You might end up with an expensive repair that somehow "became about". Got my truck towed out there ASAP as soon as I paid the $350.

Been to the Hoosick st garage twice for two different jobs, these guys are honest, quick and knowledgeable. Highly recommend using them. Ask for Tito.

Went to this place to get brakes at 1/3 of a price as my dealership, they got me quick. I went in at open with a tire repair, they took me first, plugged the tire and sent me on my way. Had a huge piece of metal inside which the guy took my tire off to retrieve and gave to me as a souvenir.
