From making an appointment on the website through check in was easy and efficient. All the work I requested was completed in a professional manner and included a car wash. In all, the appointment went very well and I highly recommend Subaru of Troy.

And, as always, everyone i encountered was courteous, kind, and not pushy. This was my first service experience at Subaru of Troy. Brittany pleasantly greeted me. Jayden, my service tech, was very pleasant to talk to. He assisted me with rescheduling my appointment this morning, and also performed my scheduled maintenance this afternoon. An update of my multi point inspection was sent to my phone while I waited, which didn’t seem very long at all. I had a perfect cup of coffee from their state of the art coffee machine. I chatted with my salesman, Sohail, who is an excellent salesperson. He brought me an awesome tee shirt in a great fall color, which he said he owed me from when I purchased the car. He gave me a great care package that day, but was short a tee shirt. Great experience at Subaru of Troy !! 😊
They checked my tire pressure light which came on and off for weeks. Seemed to be fixed but 20 miles later the light came back on. I drove back and they were great about getting to the bottom of the problem and fixing it without charging me. Highly recommend this service department.
My used Subaru had 3 open recalls. I had tried calling another local dealer and never even got to speak with someone in the service department. Decided to try Subaru of Troy and I got through to someone on the first try and was able to make an appointment for the next day! Everyone was very kind and there was great communication (text, call and call!) while my car was there - they even sent a video! Very happy.
Regarding their service department: Competitive prices and if you need to wait at the dealership for repairs they have tasty snacks, comfy chairs, fast wifi, and on-demand hot chocolate. Can't really ask for more than that and I continue to get service here specifically for the aforementioned amenities. I also like supporting dog friendly businesses and their waiting area is super dog friendly with dog treats in the snack bar. I was informed that they apparently pay to Uber you home if you need a ride, but I stayed for the hot chocolate.

This is where I regularly have my car serviced. They have always been professional, transparent, and helpful. They do good work and have honored multiple kinds of warranties. Loaner cars aren’t free, but they are always great cars. Online scheduling system is easy, and they communicate well during service.

I asked for them to do NYS inspection, didnt do it & I didnt see it until I got home. And I spent over$600, I am extremely unhappy about this

My car broke down Tuesday on my way to work. I had it towed to Troy Subaru after speaking with the Service Department. I dropped it off around 11am expecting it to be diagnosed the next day and hopefully repaired by Friday. They had it fixed and washed by 2pm the same day, and found a way to get it covered by Subaru. I am so grateful for their help!
Subaru as a whole needs to stop pestering people with their surveys and constant texts and emails for said surveys. Im still giving 5 stars because the service is good, but Ive gotten 6 texts in 3 days about rating.

I had a regular maintenance scheduled for my vehicle. All work was done timely, while I was waiting at the location. I got my vehicle report via text message, next message included recommendations and estimates.

Had an inspection and oil change done got my results back and was told that the mechanics found my front and rear breaks were both at 50% life, which didnt make sense because i just had the front breaks and rotors completely replaced. Megan rechecked the mechanics work for me to find that the front ones were in fact completely fine! I would ve been running around yelling at my other mechanic if it weren t for her.

Brand new customer to this service center after moving to the area and will be sticking with them. I actually called the other Subaru dealership first because they are closer, but the phone representative was pretty awful, in kind of a hilarious way. I wanted an oil change and had a recall notice to be fixed. My old dealership had called me to make an appointment, but they are now a few hundred miles away. The other dealership did not take my information, did not take the time to put my information into their system and told me to call back every two weeks. Laughable for a recall that was originally opened two years ago and the parts were just being issued. When I called Subaru of Troy to make the appointment, they immediately took my information, got me into the system and before I even asked they said I see you have an open recall, we have the parts for that. Now what else would you like us to look at? What a difference! Also the tech takes a video to talk about what is needed and texts it to you, and my service representative, Megan, went above and beyond explaining everything I needed to know in a way I can make an informed decision. I am for sure a returning customer.

Worst Subaru dealership I have ever dealt with. They falsely advertise express service. After talking you in to a lifetime oil change deal. Told me could be waiting 4 hours for an oil change. Then the service advisor says If its any consolation Goldstein is running 3 weeks for an oil change.

I brought my 2021 Outback with 26K on it for a seat bottom replacement covered by the new car warranty and for an oil change which I have covered under a plan. That part of the visit was spot on and I appreciated Kenny doing the leg work to ensure the seat bottom was covered. Time for a 36 k mile oil change. Oil was changed and tires rotated no issues except everyone showed at the same time. A short wait but they got me in and out PDQ.

Haven t had much experience with service yet. First time was a 3 hr wait, an unusual day I was told. Second one was timely (90 min) and an unexpected filter replacement for a total of $140, which I hadn t anticipated. Will adapt! Svc staff are great.

Love this dealership, I ve only ever had positive experiences from buying my car to various repairs over the last year I ve owned the car. Every time they are incredibly pleasant, and even discounted me when I had to wait longer than expected.
Got a flat and needed it replaced that day. They were able to get us in and replace our tires within two hours of getting there. We were very happy with their service.
