Dylan was very helpful in getting my Torque converter replacement done under warranty. I was a little displeased that the sway bar links were not covered 100% as well, but appreciate Dylans effort to at least gain me a favorable 75/25% warranty coverage.
I've been to quite a few Honda dealers, and they are NOT all the same. Rensselaer is one of the best. They deliver good customer service and everyone I've dealt with is personable. You don't get pressured or lied to, instead they make things easy. Recommend them highly, with a special shoutout to Jake Morizio.
We just leased 2 new Honda’s; Hybrid CRV and Passport. Each person we dealt with was very kind and helpful. They made ending our leases in our non Honda vehicles seamless. Went in for simple inspection and pointed out that weather stripping around door was very loose - ongoing problem I never mentioned before. They fixed it for free which was appreciated. Service dept here is excellent. Sales, fine. Finance dept during purchase was horrible, despicable, dishonest.
Had our 22 Honda Ridgeline serviced, our service advisor Joe was amazing from scheduling to keeping us informed, our master tech. Anthony did an amazing job on our service and our recall that we need done , they are both amazing employees.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE. They installed a faulty AC unit, and then a faulty battery 2 weeks later. An oil leak that they said was fixed ended up worse than before I brought it in and I ended up taking it to a local mechanic who said Honda botched the job. Service department feels like a scam. BEWARE…

Am a loyal customer of Rensselaer Honda for 18 years, having bought two vehicles from them, and all service on our Hondas has been and continues to be done exclusively there. Specifically regarding service: we have found every staff member we encounter during our visits outstanding in terms of respect, courtesy, and knowledge. The fact that the staff tend to be long term (we dealt with one of the advisors, who retired just a few years ago, for 15 years straight), speaks as much to the quality of those folks as to the overall dealer management and its appreciation and treatment of their own staff, obviously all with the customer in mind. Underlying all this is the quality of the Honda product, as our vehicles are 18 years old (has been driven cross country 5-1/2 times already) and 11 years old. There is no doubt what make our future vehicles will be, nor where we will go to buy them!
This is my second time purchasing from rensselaer honda most of my transaction was done over the phone and then I made two trips there one to do all the paperwork and one to pick up my car the experience was seamless from start to finish they had everything ready for me and both myself and my parents got the cars we wanted!!!

I was able to get an appointment in fairly short notice which was essential because I am on the road quite often. I had the maintenance work done while I waited in comfort. I only had the work done I requested with no pressure for additional services.

I had an appointment at 1:15 for an oil change and to switch my winter and summer tires. I was in the waiting room for 3hrs and 30+ minutes. By the time I left, I was the last person there and countless people had come and gone throughout the afternoon. Not acceptable.

Didnt know what to expect when I arrived. I had scheduled an appointment online on their website, but the appointment was not in their system. The service rep gladly checked my car in for service as a walk-in. He was very friendly and polite. I had an oil change and alignment service completed. The wait didnt seem long; it took about an hour to an hour and a half. The facility appeared clean and spacious. The service rep who completed my check out was also very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and would schedule service there again.

I had my car inspected , tires rotated, oil change, windshield wiper blades changed all inlets than 2 hours and was able to get an appointment on short notice.
The Rensselaer Honda Service Team is amazing! They take customer service seriously and ensure each customer is personally cared for, fully understand the issue, resolution and associated costs. They are so respectful of the customer s time and will communicate updates during the visit. I feel like I have my own personal service team!

Update to add and change the rating. I am at Honda now and they are fixing everything for us. After spending more than $4000 on all new tires, rear brakes and calipers, wheel alignment, a power steering leak and lines repaired and an oil change my vehicle now shakes when I brake and I am out of oil just a month after the oil change. I will be going in today for an explanation.

I have a 2019 HR-V with less than 10,000 miles on it. The tire pressure light came on, did a visual and they appeared to all be fully inflated. I drove in without an appointment or calling to ask if they could check it out. I was taken in on the spot for a service visit, they did a thorough check for damage/leaks, etc. Thankfully everything was as it should be. I was ready to go in less than an hour. Everyone was very polite and friendly in service. I was expecting to have to make an appointment or come back at a later time and it was just so relieving to be able to just come on in. Thank you for great customer service! Thank you again and Ill see you in the new year for my next oil change and anniversary visit!
