I have an older 2006 Ford Escape with manual transmission. My car had a difficult electrical issue that the shop fixed. They explored all options and really showed they cared to fund the best solution. Great service.

Dropped two wheels off to have tires replaced and it went nice and smooth only complaint I have is I was told I d be receiving the receipt for my purchases in my email to have for my records and never did but I received a rating email for those same purchases kinda rubbed me the wrong way

I m just curious, is this repair shop in the business of pulling parts apart so it fails inspection and they get the repair? My daughter went there for an inspection, we had our mechanic look it over yesterday because she is driving out of town today. Some how the sway bar that was all together yesterday was broken today. I m wondering if there are still repair shops out there that take advantage of 20 year old college girls? Hmmm I wonder.

My first time experience with Firestone. I am very impressed. The service advisor TJ is top notch. The old tires on my Tesla Model S were severely unevenly worn causing all kinds of road noise. They checked my suspension system, and recommended the Turanza Quiet Track. I am so pleased! No more road noise! Drives like new. Whether you own a Tesla or not, this is the place to go! Plus the can also do other suspension work on Tesla s. This place is a good find!

Had me wait 3hrs for an inspection that I called to schedule, proceeded to fail me for the inspection and say the fixes would cost $530, passed the inspection at pep boys who said the problem was not serious enough to fail and quoted me $400 for the same problem (in and out within an hour)

Ken was the best!!

They were so quick with my inspection and with diagnosing the issues I needed fixed in order to pass and offered solutions for other issues to fix later on down the line. Ken was super accommodating and thorough when explaining what needed to be done and how unfortunately they didn t have the parts right now but they could get them first thing in the morning and have my car ready by noon. Although not even two hours later Ken called me and told me that they managed to get the parts delivered and that they had already worked on my car and passed my inspection! The staff and service were wonderful and truly exceeded my expectations. They were so quick to get everything done and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Calvin was so great he squeezed me in before I went back to college for an inspection and it was a fast and easy process. I was just a few weeks post surgery on my ankle and he came to the door and held it open for me on my way in and out. This firestone has always been great to our family but Calvin is the man. My son s car broke down Sunday afternoon and was towed to this garage. The team there stayed after quitting time to make sure his car was running so he could get home. They were curious and in my opinion went above and beyond thank you

Go there if you have nothing else to do for the rest of the day. Two hours to install two tires. Would raise the price $20 by adding self created services i.e TPMS service where there is no need to do anything or requested. Asked $20 extra for alignment because Vehicle is SE model instead of base model which I never heard that would make a difference in price. Not recommended at all.

Absolute SCAM Do not go to this location After coming to get a car inspection for registration they went on to replace my brake lights for $300 dollars price was not told to me until after he already took off the panel during the inspection insane to think I would want this coming in for a $20 inspection and leaving with a $300 bill To add to this I overheard them trying to scam a man that doesn t speak good english into getting an alignment and how your other tire will fall off if you don t get it

Recently, I visited this place for my cars air conditioning. Apparently, my car was overheating and they assumed that the head gasket may have blown. Finally, they found out that we just needed to change the coolant. However, what I hated was how rude the guy was. He kept implying that I let my car overheat for a while, which is why we had a blown head gasket. I clearly stated that we didnt notice any overheating and we dropped by the instant our A/C stopped working. We take very good care of our car, it was annoying that he kept assuming we did not and made judgmental remarks.

In my opinion I think this fire stone is the best one around great work and a really good price

BEWARE!!! My daughter took her car into the Firestone at the troy location. After admitting they had to reach out to other dealers to find out even what parts they needed to order(FACT) they called to give us an estimate. Long story short...when she picked car up the coolant light was still flashing and the check engine light was still on. She picked the car up and drove it home and we then took it to a mechanic because it was not running properly. We discovered wires had been recently damaged (coil pack wires cost approx $500-$600), the plastic cover to the motor clips had been broken, one of the coil clips had been broken, the air filter assembly was not reinstalled properly, and the part that had been replaced per the invoice is still leaking and appears as though the bolt is stripped. I reached out to the location to discuss this and immediately was passed off to a mechanic who basically denied everything and then hung up on me. I reached out to corporate and received an email from a Danny Tovar (Sr. customer retention specialist) saying that after careful review and investigation they did not cause the damage nor did he address the car is still leaking . NEVER ONCE did he reach out to me or my daughter during his careful review and investigation nor did he request the photos i have and I do have plenty...I believe this is the first time I have ever taken the time to review a company but i felt it necessary to inform people of what to expect from the service at Firestone!!! I would have given it 0 stars but it wouldnt let me!

The sheer bill that you gave me for changing 2 light bulbs is inexplicable. ~80 for putting two small light bulbs? Seriously? That too after giving some discount. Even others take 10-15$ only. And god knows what wiring change you did that you charged 161. It still looks the same. Try to be reasonable when you charge for some service and be true to the customer.

The employees who work here are extremely honest and helpful. Very upfront and will answer any questions and more. Very pleased with this location and highly recommend.

TJ the receptionist got mad/ hostile on the phone because my personal mechanic was asking him question about my car he said you know what, you can call a toll truck and send it back to Long Island so your personal mechanic can fix it i said WOAH we were just asking question no need to be hostile. I am a new driver and I just wanted clarity. He also said I needed to change my transmission oil, turns out it didn t need one Was gonna pay 500 plus for a broken axel and they didn t really specify what was being fixed. Turns out they were gonna do an alignment with out telling me. Overall TJ needa chill and start listening to his customers whenever they have questions and concerns, that is what he s there for

Made an appointment by phone for tire swaps and alignment, the workers did not have time to get to my vehicle that day and they were more than willing to accommodate to my needs and compensate for the wasted time, at the end I received my vehicle back with incredible discount and a job well done!! I had an appointment that I made online for 5 pm little less than a week before the scheduled date. When I arrived, the gentleman at the register was surprised with my appearance and asked if we booked online. We did and it stated it was confirmed in my email. I got the vibe of them being pretty upset that I was there (not personally but my assumption is that they thought their day was over). I asked how long my appointment would be (as I was going to go for a walk since I had my pup) and was given its the last appointment of the day and there is still cars in front if me. I asked if they can call me when Im doing and I would walk back over... call comes in asking if I was picking up today? Which I found odd since less than 45 minutes ago i told him i was waiting and walking around. I bought the lifetime alignment and have very little confidence that the shop did any adjustments or just ran through machine and now have to wait 6 months since I dont drive often to confirm this. I will go to a diff. shop for the alignment from now on. I had little confidence walking in- will opt to go elsewhere.

I had four new tires, mounted and balanced on my vehicle as I m driving on the highway. My vehicle is shaking violently. The balance was completely off on the vehicle and the tech up all four rims fire stone. Bridgestone have refused to take a responsibility for the damage to my vehicle Saying that the tech never noted damage to the rims and they won t take responsibility for this.

They got me in same day, my case was within 15 minutes, told me what was wrong, told me the price, asked me if I was willing to pay. Banged out the problem in a couple hours. And I was all set.

I was a dedicated customer to this Firestone for two years. A few months ago, I trusted this Firestone to do an initial purchase inspection and state inspection on a new used vehicle where I was told it was in great condition. Within a month the car check engine light came on and it was pulsing, I paid over $2400 to fix my car although none of the repairs performed resolved the issues the car was having (except that the check engine light was now off). After being verbally abused by an employee at the Latham location where I asked for a new set of eyes to see the car, I ended up taking the car to totally different business and found it had extensive issues that Firestone never disclosed with me (this was the fourth inspection performed on my car in under two months). I did reach out to the customer service number who asked me to call back every 48 hours if I did not hear from a Firestone representative. I was patient after a few months my situation was escalated to a cooperate level of care. However the cooperate office also did not call me and no apologies were even made for the behavior of the employee that was verbally abusive towards me. In essence, you will not be helped if things do not go well at Firestone. It is irresponsible and cruel to recommend them as a business to anyone. I highly advise that you take your car somewhere else.

This is the second time I ve come here and been waiting well past the scheduled time for the service not to be complete. It is very frustrating to take the time out of my day to come at my scheduled time and to be consistently going over and not completing the scheduled items. Like most of these chains, it does often feel like a money phishing operation to those who don t know a lot about cars. This shop is so close to my house but I am disappointed every time :(

I ve been here twice and each time the customer service has been super friendly and informative. I had to get two new tires put on the back of my car. I initially called Mavis across the street and they were so apathetic and seemingly annoyed when I got an estimate and told them I needed to call back - the gentleman on the phone nearly hung up on me. Firestone, however, was patient with my questions and were flexible. Their customer service was prompt and they got the job done quickly. Super happy!

I bought 4 new tires two weeks ago and I specifically told the guy, black walls facing out. I got there to pick up my vehicle, and the technician mounted them with the white lettering facing out. Oh sorry about that sir, if you want to wait, well switch that for you. I waited over 3 hours, Im done waiting. Also, he put friggin old gray valve caps on my valve stems, not my black ones. Wont be going there anymore. The work ethic in this country sucks right now. God help us.

Great Shop Call made an appointment for my car alignment 2013 Camry with 50,000 miles. It is a busy shop, but they did had a couple openings for alignment on the same day, which was convenient for me. As I was in the area and dont have one by my home about 80 miles away. I chose this place cause it has the best rating in the area for a lifetime alignment. A normal shop alignment cost $130-$150 This alignment cost me less than $210 with a coupon out the door. And it s good for the lifetime of the car as long as I own it. Provided a printout of the before and after specs to show the improvement in the alignment. Parking is a little bit of an issue as it is a very congested area give yourself 2-3 minutes to find parking. They recommended the Taco place around the corner, and it was great!!!! I work on cars, and you cant beat this deal. My friend got her SUV done the same. A good alignment shop is hard to find!!! We will be back !!!

I brought my car in for a slow leak in one tire and during the repair they damaged my rim. Not only is the tire still loosing air, I was lied to about when the claim was submitted. Update: It s also worth noting that while their social media team is quick to respond to these posts, no one responds to the emails (or voicemail) accounts they mention. A hollow gesture of customer service.

I went in for a New York State inspection and they tried to tell me my car needed 1600 in repairs after not once quoting the price upfront. They also broke the calipers on all my cars breaks. I took the car down to my hometown that weekend and they got all the same fixes done for under 600. Not a trustworthy service!

Thanks Firestone of Troy for taking care of my ride and getting me back on the road, upfront staffs was amazing and the tech that took care of my car was amazing. Would come again!!!!

Helped a friend that had a flat tire, called multiple places for a replacement and they were all days out. Contacted Jay at Firestone in Troy and he had the tire in stock. Jay and his team had us back on the road in no time and cost came in under what he had quoted on the phone. We will be sending more business his way for our company in the future for sure.

I m beyond annoyed with this company. I trusted them and it s becoming evident they just don t care. The first time I went to them for an opinion about my control arms I expressed how my car was driving told me just needed an alignment. Paid for other services. Weeks later I go to a different shop just for an inspection where I was then made aware my control arm was so bad my tire was about to come off. I call Firestone just to express myself was told I d receive a call in no time I received the call offered to fix it for free. I dropped it off and they were booked for inspections so just the control arm was fixed. Next morning I go to get an inspection from the other company where once again it s being brought to my attention there s grease spilling into my brakes. I m just not understanding what s going on. I feel like if I m asking you to service my car I m trusting you with my life and others that get into my car.

To RPI family, do not go here if you value your life, money, and time. I had the most terrible experience here. They will misdiagnose your car, make you pay unnecessary services, literally ruin you car more than when it is brought in. My story is similar to the other victims in the comments that almost lose their lives to this shops malpractice. I do not know how they hire these mechanics but they clearly do not know what they are doing by the several negative reviews. To summarize my story, I give in my car because it is shaking, they tell me that it is a tire alignment, I warn them telling them it might be the caliper because I had similar problems like that before. Next day I receive my car in worse condition than I left it -shocker. Clearly not even test driven. I go back not even 1 minute away from leaving the lot telling them that what they did did indeed not fix the problem and that it is definitely the caliper as the wheel was seized. I give it back in, shocker, its the caliper, I had to FIGHT to get the tire alignment discounted out of the caliper because why is it my fault they misdiagnose my car? They do it then after waiting FOUR hours they tell me that there is also a problem with my brake hose.. This was Februrary 10. TWO NIGHTS AGO March 12, I am on the highway when I hear an insane sound in the same wheel that they replaced the caliper. My car completely seizes and I am grateful that I was able to pullover and park overnight. I had to pay EIGHTY FIVE dollars for a tow DOWN THE STREET, I go back to firestone because somehow I just know its their fault. The guy at the front is like what you are describing sounds like your axle broke... After inspection, calls me and is like have you had any recent caliper work lately? Im like yes by YOU and then he HANGS UP. They didnt bolt on the screws of my caliper correctly which is why the bolt came loose while I drove... They need to shut down immediately!

We have been having service and repairs done at Firestone for the past 10 years. We have been a devoted customer at each Firestone in the Albany, troy, Loudonville. Been ripped off and treated wrongful. Giving each location our complete confidence led to being taken advantage of. Not replacing parts and we were billed for it. This issue was serviced at Albany ny Firestone and I brought it to a private service and repairs center.. the parts that Firestone billed us for were not replaced resulting the same issue.now we switched to troy ny Firestone and had good luck until yesterday. We have gone there in 3 months but when we went back they had a different manager and service technician. This experience we had there was totally horrible. Misinformed about work progress. Im disabled and my wife takes care of a handicap person suffering from Autism . We explained to the manager that my wife needs this car for work as its our only vehicle. I explained that any work being done cannot leave us abandoned as we need this auto..long story short, they wanted us to leave the car because they did take out the parts they wanted to replace and didnt have the right part. Plus not only taking out the part and finding out they didnt have the right part witch would disable our vehicle. Finally after 2 hours of confrontation they could get a part in Albany ny area and have it replaced. After 5 hours of waiting for their neglect, the car done..paid for it with no discount for our discomfort. I left and a loud rattle coming from car. Brought it right back and was told to bring it back Monday, must be something loose they said.. they let me leave with a car they new something was loose due to their repair. This is a very unsafe Firestone. Bad for business. All I can say is, keep hiring inexperienced managers and service technicians. Send them all even the mechanics to schooling for a new training experience. Thank you so much for my devotion in a growing neglect.

If I could give them no stars, I would. I brought my car in for an inspection. They quoted me at $1900 in repairs. E-brake, brake lines, Tie rods, brakes, rotors, two seized calipers. I live forty minutes away, and yet with two seized calipers it got all the way to Troy? They said they needed to do an alignment. I drove away and my car pulled to the right. They failed my inspection for emissions lights being on, when nothing but the brake lights were on- which, realistically, if you fixed all things relating to my brakes, why are the lights still on? Brought it back in and told them all of this. They pulled my car in, shut off codes, and slapped a sticker on it, trying not to do the alignment that they didnt do and charged me for. Overall, I will NEVER recommend this place. If you are thinking about coming here, do yourself a favor and just dont.

Don t trust Firestone, ever. Went here back in January 2022 to get new brakes put on, had to go back to the Firestone in Latham in April with more issues because the new brakes were never put on my vehicle in January so Firestone is making me pay for both of those appointments when the second appointment never should have happened if they did their job the first time. I ve tried calling Firestone for the past seven months, and even escalating the issue to corporate, I haven t gotten any response. Wouldn t even give them one star.

REFUSES REFUND: I had ordered brake pads and rotors for my car through Firestone. As I was waiting for the parts, the car got into an accident. Due to this accident, the parts I had ordered were no longer needed. Because of this circumstance, I requested a refund but was refused multiple times because they were special orders. However, the terms listed in the receipt do not say no refund for the parts nor was I told by the employee who helped with the transaction mentioned about no refund policy. I had spoken with the manager of the store on multiple occasions and have an audio recording of him saying that his employees might have forgotten to mention the no refund policy on the special orders to me. I was not informed that the parts I ordered were not only nonrefundable but also special orders.

Total scam artists. Changed my husband s tires and forgot to reset the system so the check engine light is on. Then when brought to their attention the following day, they tried to charge $100 to see why the check engine light was on.

Dropped my car off to swap winter tires. Picked it up at the end of the day and my check engine light was now on. I called first thing the following morning to describe the situation and was told it would be an additional $100 to take a look. No one touched the car between it being dropped off and picked up besides firestone.

Did you come on July 27th 2021 I had some work done here. Had sway bar links replaced tie rod end replaced axle shaft had to be removed come to find out last winter when I want to switch my hub the four-wheel drive it fell out I just want to switch my hub today December 16th 2022 and it fell completely out they fixed it once not happy with the service

This place is great, everyone was super friendly and personable. Went in to get breaks changed and they let me know the breaks were in good condition so there s no need to change them, they didn t take advantage of me and my money and I got my inspection done their as well. Everything was fast and everyone was respectful tired or not, they have my business from now on when it come to dealing with my vehicle. I definitely recommend!!

I brought my car to them late on Tuesday afternoon with a problem with one of my tires which caused the vehicle to be unsafe to drive. Even at the late hour, the Store Manager: Jay was so very kind, patient and helpful. He researched if I had Road Hazard insurance and spoke to me about all my options. He and his Technician: Phil could not have been more amazing. They took the vehicle into the shop, changed out the tire, balanced the new tire and made sure that the vehicle was safe and everything was aligned properly. I am a loyal customer to the Albany Central Ave Fire Stone, and now I am most certainly a new loyal customer of the Troy Fire Stone On Congress Street. I honestly would recommend Fire Stone to everyone based on the experiences I have had at both the Central Avenue location and the Congress Street location. Professional, Honest, kind and they get the work done correctly the first time!!!!!

Needed a patch on one tire and after waiting over two hours for service, they refused to patch it and tried to sell me two new ones, claiming the tread on the edges was worn down. I might have fallen for it if I hadnt JUST taken it in for service a week earlier somewhere else who told me my tread was fine. Wasted a whole afternoon on my wife and my anniversary. Awful.

Their prices are comparable to everyone else in the area but here I dont ever feel like they are trying to sell me stuff I dont need. The car is ready when they say it will be, doesn t go over the estimate without calling. I cant even come up with a single complaint about this place. 10/10 would recommend!

the service manager was very knowledgeable and even though we had an emergency repair to be done on a saturday he was courteous and immediate in helping us have the issue fixed immediately. i have been to a lot of places that have left a bad taste in my mouth but this shop is top notch and i highly recommend it to anyone that is considering going there

Came in for a NYS Inspection. No customer service problems, everyone was respectful. They let me drop off my car and pick it up the next day. They will most likely call you with a list of things they can do to your car - as with most mechanics - cause thats how they make money. I understand that. But if you are going in to spend the least money possible and just want your inspection, MAKE SURE to ask what is/isnt REQUIRED to pass the inspection. Anything else can be done far cheaper at a later date. The copper level in your break lines is too high - $100 to bleed the break lines when u can do it yourself for a whole lot less. Your oil level is low, we recommend a $75 oil change - go to Walmart and buy a quart of oil for 5 bucks if your oil is low and it hasnt been 5000 miles since your last oil change.

Long wait..I understood..but they have you come here at a scheduled appointment..then sit here for about 2 hrs..after spending 1200.00$ on tires..I only had them 3 weeks and Im back for a slow leak..1 tire took over 2 hrs..smh

Went here over the summer because my tires were shaking at highway speeds and told them to check if my tires were balanced. . They told me it was my control arms so I replaced the worst one .. tire still shook . Replaced other one tire still shook finaly I brought it to another Fire Stone in Albany and the issue ended up being my tires as I originally stated. Moral of the story don t go here unless you want to throw money in a hole and not resolve your issue(ended up throwing 500$ + away )

Why do flat tires happen at the most inopportune time? I called on a Saturday, and was able to get an appointment right away, which is very unusual. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I recommend this location.

Good location - never had an problem with this particular franchise. They are conveniently located just stone throw away from Rensselaer DMV up-the-hill. As a result, I did most of my inspections and minor repairs here without any issues.

Usually good, but expensive, cheaper repairs else where, good for oil change, tires.

Greatest place to get service done on your vehicle. The manager got us in the same day. We waited 30 to 45 minutes. My kids were everywhere and there was no problem with them being children. Always ask for Jay OLeary for the best customer service and fast maintenance. Definitely will go here again. Thank you for making my experience one to share and value

Provided great service. They had me in and out the same day and within 30 minutes. The front desk gentleman offered to save me $40 by applying for the credit card. I am not a fan of credit cards but I took the offer and paid it off as soon as the charge posted. Overall service was good. Much better than the next door location of Mavis.

Great quote had my tires swapped and aligned the quote was what I paid. I was nervous because of some reviews but my experience was great they finished 5 min earlier than expected, the customer service was great I had so much help from Ryan C and Nate K never had such a great experience when having anything done with my tires on top of that the place was clean and beautiful. Soooo glad I came here! Update: The only Firestone I ever go to and walk in and out happy and feeling like they know what they are doing, honest, I got what I paid for and then some. Dan S and Ryan C were amazing as always! I got the top of the line new all season tires and with the rebate Visa card end up spending the same I would for the lower type of tire. Also free oil change promotion which u should look out for bc its not always available. Going to a tire store is never cheap but they Definitly helps having amazing service and great deals

The racist gentleman in the service department that yells across the lot at my dog and I every morning is a real charm. Wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy. If negative stars were possible, I d certainly leave a couple. UPDATE: I ran into one of the managers at this location, Dan. We had a very pleasant chat about the entire situation. The issue was resolved and I will defiantly be giving this branch another go. Dan and the rest of the remaining staff are great!

Courteous staff and knowledgeable

Someone had recommended that I come here because theyve had great experiences recently. Apparently the person he dealt with wasnt there today (or I did not see him if he was). My check engine light was on and my brakes were squeaking so I asked them to take a look. I was there for about a half hour and they charged me $118 just to plug their machine in to see why my check engine light was on and to inspect my brakes. They quoted me over $500 just for new front brake pads and $200 for a new thermostat and $100 for coolant fluid exchange. I took the estimate and ran but they still got $118 out of me for a simple inspection of my vehicle. I already set up an appointment elsewhere where they dont rip you off with ridiculous prices.

This is undeniably the worst place I have ever been. I had tires sent here from tire rack. They put on the new tires and looked at my power steering issues. They replaced frayed belts with new ones that were dry rotted so bad I had to get them replaced again three months later. My original set of tires and wheels on the car had security lugs on each wheel that they never gave back to me. They left several of their tools in my car including half a set of socket wrenches. My lug nuts from the previous wheel set were left strewn about the trunk under my old wheel set. The staff were constantly bickering with each other and complaining behind each others backs. I pity anyone unfortunate enough to have to work there or deal this this place.

If you are tired of being lied to and screwed by mechanics constantly....boys and girls bring your vehicle here...they are very very honest and best priced Ive ever seen in my life! The people are kind as hell its honestly almost like a dream come true up in there seriously! It dosent even seem plausible that a group of mechanics can be honest, kind, careful, and price their labor and parts so damn affordably! This is the only place Ive found that i can truely say is trustworthy! I will NEVER stop comming here and yall should START!! And no i dont work here! These guys are lazy and unprofessional. I tried to have a vehicle inspected here that sat for a few months (that i had already worked on for days) had a bees nest in it and they couldnt open the hood. Ok see ya guys.

Wonderful people work there

After asking for a hole in my tire to be plugged, I was notified that the sides of the tire was damaged beyond repair. The service representative said that the tire was not serviceable and refused to plug the leak. A best option tire was quoted for me to replace the tire for $125. After returning to pick up my car, they showed me the damage that made the tire not serviceable. This damage was due to road friction and only removed some text on the surface. A second opinion from an independent auto repair service showed that structural integrity of the tire was not compromised. Additionally, the tire that replaced mine had noticeably less tire tread, irregular tread wear, and dryrot. While the representative did not specifically say that this tire was new, I believe, given the price comparable to a new tire, it was a reasonable assumption. The bill also had no mention of the tire being used. I plan to go to a different auto service center to put on my original tire and share my experience of my visit. Overall the staff was courteous and professional. With the added fact that my previous visit was the installation of a faulty wheel bearing, I cant help but be skeptical of their business. I would only go here in the future if I was desperate.

Was in town from Canada and got a flat tire replaced. The tire was flat again the next day needing further service, and was not issued any kind of refund for the poor service.

The guys at Firestone have always taken great care of my family. Our car is 10 years old and had needed some major repairs. Firestone has made the repairs for a fair price and I feel quite safe driving away after a repair or oil change.

It was wonderful my sister and I came in with no appointment for oil change and inspection they said it would be about an hour well we decided to wait in the waiting room chit chat with the neighbors I had a wonderful time before you knew at the time was up and Ill call was ready they did a wonderful job and I recommend their services to everybody Firestone keep up the good work

i was not to happy with the service i got from them and will not be going back ever again.now i been working on my cars for year and never take them to the shops or dealer unless i need a inspection done or tires that it everything esle i do myself sorry i just dont really trust any shops working on my vehicle i take more care in my work cuz my money is invested as well as my family being safe from point a to point b so anyways i bring my vehicle in for it inspection to get done i get a phone call stating that the vehicle did not pass due to the need of new brake pads and rotor on the front and back the price will be$1,000 for everything now this is a 94 honda accord it not that bad but the front rotors can be a little pain so i took it home and went to go check out the brakes i checked the rotors thickness on the front and back that was both within spec pads was good in rear and needed to be replaced in the front so i went to autozone and and got both front and back pads just because they was a good price and i like to do things all together just to have peace of mind and to know how my brakes are performing over the long term so i changed them and then it pass but i didnt take it back here firestone trying to get money from people that know the mechanic side of things.im really disappointed with there service i would NOT RECOMMEND going here unless you want to give your money away for unnecessary parts and labor just for them to make a bucket.NEVER AGAIN!!!

I walked in to ask if they were available to change a light on my car and a gentleman gave a smart remark. Clearly this place isn t customer friendly based on the attitude I just received. Got a bad first impression and would recommend people to go to family owned mechanics versus corporate ones with rude employees.

Waited across the Street in the freezing cold at Mavis where I usually go, just to get 2 tires changed along with other customers. I guess the manager was running late because they didn t open at the time they had posted on the doors. So the Guys at Firestone waved us over to Firestone and got everybody in and out super fast!!! Great Service, very knowledgeable, but prices can be a little better. This is how a business should run! I recommend this place.
