Bill and the crew are the best. This is an honest shop that knows their community. Update, I just had another positive experience at TW. I was able to get my oil changed, tires swapped out, and inspection all done on the fly for a fair price.

Sold me tires from 2021 as new. Then proceeded to tell me if they where 1 year older they couldnt legally sell them to me. They would then have to be sent to and I quote 4 years old we would just send them to Mexico. Refused to give me any deduction on 3 year old tires the only option I got was we can remove them off the rims for free. So then my car would be on rims.... Terrible spot be aware they sell out dated tires as new so they can give a ok price.

WORST PLACE TO GO! I pay $500 for all new winter tires and the back passenger tire keeps getting flat and I took my car twice! it s a cranky old guy with lenses wow such a bad attitude bad customer service.

Terrible attitudes, I went in with a car emergency & the one guy at the register was flirting while another big man came out and didn t even ask if we needed help then we told him we needed help he had an attitude. Worse

Went in for 2 new tires, they found the cause of them wearing so fast and corrected it. They definitely could have tried to upsell me on a couple other issues with the car and didnt and I really appreciated that. I know where Im going the next time I need some work done. Thanks Bill!

Had a great experience here today. Called in about tires in a size that no other garage in the area could have gotten for me this week, but they had one sent from their warehouse within hours. They threw the new tire on & had me out of there in under an hour, great customer service.

Would leave negative stars. Threw out my old tires that still had half tread on them. Offered no solution. Basically cost me an extra $200.

Was highly recommended by a relative of the owner. I relayed that information and was still given subpar service. I m no mechanic but their actions kind of messed up my suspension. I d went in for an alignment and x2 new tires and left with an even worse alignment. No alignment done initially, I m sure the new tires had made the vehicle feel like they were pull hard to the right a bit more. On a sad note, come to find out my bushings and sway-bar links were on their last leg & this was the straw that broke the camels back. Immediate new sounds similar to grinding metal after my time at The Tire Warehouse; I d just gone and traded in the vehicle, no time to fuss. I hope The Tire Warehouse gets some better staff/ management. The young kid running the alignment machine needs a couple more years on oil changes and the owner needs to put chitchat aside and focus on good business, Especially when the work is so minimal.

I would not recommend anybody give this business their money. I went to the tire warehouse back in April for a front end alignment. The car did seem to drive more straight when we left but 3 months down the line we couldnt help but to notice the front tires were wearing unevenly and now need to be replaced again. A second set of front tires in less than 4 months. My local shop that does not do alignments (why I went to the tire warehouse in the 1st place) took a look at it and said the car is visibly out of alignment. When I called the tire warehouse I was told that because the alignment happened over 30 days ago i will need to pay another $100 for them to perform an alignment a second time. I talked to other local shops and it appears the standard is 12 months, not the 30 days tire warehouse offers. My first mistake was taking my vehicle to the tirewarehouse, my second mistake was not asking about their warranties but one thing I will be sure to do is not make the mistake of purchasing tires from these crooks who refuse to take accountability for their services. 1 star because I dont have the option to put 0.

I Love Tire Warehouse They Take Good Care Of My Car

Super helpful, fast, kind service and best prices around. I was searching everywhere for a tire for my car. 4 places the wait was 2.5 hours, 2 of these 4 places said my 1 tire would be over $200 and thats not including mounting or balancing. The Tire Warehouse got me in right away. Within 30 mins my tire was on my car and I was ready to go. Plus my tire cost me only $135 with mounting and balancing. Highly recommend going here first for all your tire needs.

Tire Warehouse had been our go-to place for car repairs for years. Most recently, we were in for extensive brake and suspension work. When we picked up the car, it obviously had not been test-driven; there were still brake and steering problems. We picked it up again the next day, and the same problems were still there. The third round of repair was performed at no charge, and the car seems to be fine now. Certainly, this hasnt been an excellent experience, but they made good, finally. Well go back.

Quick in and out service . Pleasant experience getting a tire plugged , some big shops frown on this device when they sell new tires .. These guys took care of me quickly and got me on my way! Will definitely use again soon.

Good enough shop for tires and routine maintenance, but seems like their scheduling process changes every time I have gone there. They do or dont make appointments ahead of time, or first come first serve and then you make an appointment when you get there for later...

On May 27th 2022 I went to my car dealership for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I told them one of my tires was periodically leaked air. The dealership told me I had to get a new tire (over $220) because they claimed I had something in the sidewall of the tire. Today May 28th 2022 I went down to Tire Warehouse in Troy and had them look at my tire. All it needed was a patch. Its so nice to have decent people not try to scam you into buying a new tire that isnt necessary. I have a Subaru which is all wheel drive so the tires have to match. Thank you so much Tire Warehouse. You will always be my go to spot!!!

Excellent place! My mother had a flat tire. She needed to be on the road by 4:30 on a Friday. And Sams club told us that they have a opening for us to bring in the car on Monday or Tuesday. Our choice lol! But when I called Tire Warehouse in Troy. I asked the guy do you have any openings? And he said just bring it down. That was awesome and worked out perfect. We were there for about an hour. But it was totally worth it

These guys are awesome!!!We went to Adirondack tire first and were expecting them to be open as the website stated and they were leaving. Had a blown tire emergency and tire warehouse had us up and running in 45 minutes at an excellent price. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating.They saved the day!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. And we were driving through town from Columbus and route from OH to VT, and we got a notice that our tire was getting low on air, we realized we had run over a pile of nails at the recent rest stop . Everyone at the tire store was super accommodating and truthful about not needing a new tire but just patching so we can get back out on the road. We had seven nails that they had to remove and they patched them perfectly. My husband drives a big pick up truck w big wheels and I m sure it wasn t easy but they were so truthful and quick and easy to work with! So happy that we had our incident where we did. HIGHLY RECC TO ANYONE!!!! If we lived in town we would go there all the time! AND ps we ate lunch across the street at the adorable pub and had one of the best lunches ever! (Turkey Reuben, chowder, local beers). AND walk down the street to the yummy Italian bakery and got some treats for our trip! Everything was amazing mmm. Everyone in Troy is so sweet and nice and welcoming

Bill will give you a tire quote over the phone, or by email. Prices are great (include everything, but sales tax), and they will make an appointment for installing tires.

It s a Gem in our area! Front service staff are professional and get the job done. I used to take the ambulances there for service. Trustworthy and now I take my kids cars there for tires.

On a hot Friday afternoon my tire went flat in Troy. I live in Colonie and was concerned about getting home on a small donut tire. The tire was changed by a roadside repair company and I started calling looking for a new tire. I called Tire Warehouse in Troy. The gentleman I spoke with was reassuring and gave me an estimate on a repair and on a new tire. I got there and they took my car in to be looked at in under 5 minutes. In 20 minutes they had repaired the tire. reset the flat tire alert and I was safely on my way home. What a relief. Highly recommend!

Curb rashed my tire a bit, and after some calling in the area, was recommended to come here. Staff was courteous and professional. I didnt have to get a new tire, after the employee explained the protection features on my tire. Very honest! Will be coming back once I need a new set of tires.

I had a great experience. After driving over debris at 5 am in the dark in Boston I noticed a tire losing air. I was heading to our property in Troy and had to pump up the tire 3 times. The last pump up at the I 90 rest stop in NY I called and spoke to Bill. He said that my tires were in stock and he could install that day as soon as I arrived (Saturday). I dropped off the car walked to my destination and never missed a beat. Bill called in a couple hours, I paid and picked up the car. All good. Pleasant service from all the workers.

I had all 4 tires replace and oil change. Great price on tires and oil change and friendly people.

I was told they dont align lifted vehicles and couldnt balance 285/70-17 tires on aftermarket wheels. So theres that. Although theyve done it for me before. But I got there just over an hour before they closed. So Im assuming they just wanted to go home and they dont make any more if they do my truck or not. I wont be bringing anything here again.

Follow up to response:. While I appreciate your response I dont see what would be served by doing so. I will see no money and obviously no apology. Even if all work performed were necessary, that doesnt explain the broken boot nor the outright lie that they couldnt let my car leave as it would be against DMV regulations. They told me that this is a common scam. My review stands as a warning to others in case this is still your practice. Several years ago I needed an inspection. I wont repeat all the details except to say I was lied to [told I couldnt leave legally unless I had this fixed] etc. It cost me a great deal of money for something that was not necessary. My bad, lesson learned. This year upon getting an inspection at a trusted garage I asked to have the brakes checked [as I had been told at Tire Warehouse.that they were going to have to be taken care of really soon]. However, although the brakes are still fine one of the CV Boots was damaged during the repair done at the Tire Warehouse. This is currently being done at some expense. Unless new management has taken over I would be very wary, especially if youre a very old person who was obviously easily fooled.

Had them put tires on and they forgot to tighten the Lug-nuts. They didn t seem to care that I could have got into an accident. Also, I asked them to do the alignment again. They said they did and the car still pulled to the right. Had to have it done by someone else. Will never go back again.

Bill is back! I was a steady, happy customer until a few years ago when the store management changed. It was amazing how quickly it went downhill. The old manager, Bill is back bringing his commitment to customer service, honest work, and good pricing. Other pluses are same day service, a great waiting area, and a half block walk to the Ale House for lunch while waiting.

Total waste of time. Sat here for 2½ hours for 4 new tires, only to return within 2 hrs because one got flat. Total negligence. You can tell that the staff does not want to be here working. All questions get one word answers. A rep said I get no warranty with my 4 new tires simply because he didnt want to take the time to explain it. I forced it out of him, he was visibly annoyed. They are all rude. I will never return.

I dont usually give 5 stars because I feel theres always room for improvement however these guys and women were great. My tire had to be ordered and it was there exactly when they said it would be. I was a walk-in and as busy as they were I was in and out in a respectable amount of time. Last but not least they were very professional and really nice and considerate. They deserve the 5 stars. I thought I was actually leaking oil. John looked everything over and let me know it was actually my water pump. He even brought me to my vehicle to show me. Don t really leave reviews like that but I had to. Came out of work at 5 to a flat tire Called Them At 5:15 and asked could I stop in as I no they close at 6 and I work in Albany ! Got there at around 5:50 and they seen me immediately ! Took such good care of my car and discovered it was a nail in it in 5 minutes tops ! They had me and out and I was so pleased with the service. I am new to the Tire Warehouse. I needed 4 Brand New tires, and Oil change, alignments washer fluid ... ugh! They were awesome! I had to be there for like 4 hours to get everything done because I let my car go which was my fault. The manager though kept me company the whole time, chatting with me. He even suggested tires and brands and why he liked them and helped me make a good decision for my car. I normally love going to my mom and pop shop where I used to live, but I couldnt get there because my tires were so bad I couldnt drive 2 hours away! Thanks guys for all the help!

Disappointed with inability to balance tires. Have been back and forth several times and ive been give a different reason each time as to why the tires are shaking. Cutting my losses and taking business elsewhere. Dropped 3 stars bc of this. I wanted so badly to keep business in Troy. Maybe this is why this is the 3rd manager Ive had to deal with since I bought tires in September 2017? Is it Untrustworthy or unskilled staff? Not sure but i would recommend not buying tires or having service at this location. Would gice 0 stars if possible.

DONT GO HERE!!! They gave me an outrageous price even when I told them I looked it up where they get their parts from and they literally doubled the price and when they put my tires back on they tightened my bolts to the extreme and I go back so they can losen them and guess what they tighten them to tight again and they stipped my bolts my car is not cheap neither are the parts so thank you so much for not being helpful at all I even thanked the guys for helping me so quickly to what I thought was losening them but nope.

Update: Dropping from 2 to 1 star. I replied to the email address in the response from owner below 2 weeks ago and have had no reply from them. Theyre obviously just putting on a show to appear that they care about these poor experiences. Original Post: Pros: I have purchased tires here on several occasions, and had fair results. I do believe they re about the cheapest option around. Cons: One of the mechanics lied to try to get me to do a ton of work. I recently took my car in for an alignment. I made the mistake of telling the man at the counter that I hit a pothole and had a little sway when turning. The mechanic came out and told me that I needed a new steering rack ($1500 job)...that he could hear it making all sorts of grinding noises and that he looked inside and saw that it was shot. I took it to a Volvo authorized repair shop after this and they verified there was nothing at all wrong with the steering rack...that the sway came from the trailing arm bushings in the back of the car needing to be replaced. I replaced them ($90 in parts) and the issue is fixed. Due to this experience, I m never going there again and I ll recommend the same to all my friends. I wish the cheapest option was still a viable one, but after being lied to in such a specific and egregious way, it just isn t.

What a joke tire warehouse is ,get real mechanics not lemons cant do your job{ get another career) such liers and scam you almost got hurt from leaving their parking lot with brake failing.

Friendly fast and reasonably priced

They will treat you right and give you options. Theres no need to worry about them trying to pull the wool over your eyes. The prices are fair. Its always busy though so its a good idea to book an appointment if its not an emergency.

Very pleased with the service at the Troy location. John was very helpful and concerned with safety. I do come here whenever necessary.

The shop rate is a little high at $90. However they do good and consistent work. I have only had minor issues with things they have done. The worst thing was I had replaced one strut that was going bad and returned some months later to replace the remaining three. They forgot and replaced all four. When this was disputed, they claimed the recently replaced one was already bad and needed to be replaced as well. They didnt charge for the part but did for the labor. Tires are much cheaper than at the dealership, obviously. A synthetic oil and filter change is $70. Their service people are friendly and helpful when you need to make a lower cost decision. They also offer financing for six months with no interest. I have not used it but it seems like a good deal.

I trust them so i keep coming back. Pricing can be high but ive also had big things done to my car, like ball joints and rods replaced. Any issues after service are resolved asap. My pops and I have come here for years. Been back three times for the same thing within a few weeks. Keep fixing it at not cost due to warranty which is great. Just dont want to keep sitting for hours at a time to get the same thing fixed. Hopefully this is the last time for this sway bar.

I wish they would let me choose no stars, all tire warehouse places are scammers. There is a reason why NYS wont let them do inspections anymore, they are con artists. DO NOT GO TO ANY TIRE WAREHOUSE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID. Notice they dont respond to negative feedback.

THIS PLACE PUT MY FAMILY AND I IN LEGITIMATE DANGER! My previous review got deleted so here it goes again: I had previously been very happy with the work these guys did, to be fair. This last time I was billed for services that werent performed and parts that I didnt get. I was billed for a master cylinder and brake shoes that werent replaced and an alignment that wasnt done. The worst part was that a clamp was added to my rear brakes to hide the fact that someone had crushed the brake line and then stripped the connection. And the clamp was beginning to fail when I found it so it was, no exaggeration, just a matter of time before my brakes completely failed and my car went careening into something or someone. I genuinely could not believe that someone could be so incredibly irresponsible. And, to top it off, I was the first guy in the door Saturday morning but because I told them Id come back later to pick it up, my car was deprioritized. And when they didnt finish it by 5pm, they just left me stranded without a car for 3 days and thought nothing of it and furthermore treated me incredibly rudely about it. Wont ever go back.

Truck needed alignment, went down the road fine when done but, steering wheel was crooked. Called back they had excuses why the steering wheel was not straight, assured me everything was fine. Had just spent 1,000 on 4 tires and wanted to make sure they would not wear wrong. Brought it back, they worked on it more, when done, the steering wheel was crooked the other way. The counter guy said I needed new parts $795.00 to get steering wheel staight and it could go any minute. Brought truck to another alignment shop to protect my tire investment. When he was done he said it appeared as if Tire Warehouse had not done much of anything and corrected some of their work as well as straightening the steering wheel for $ 81.00. Did not need parts to make wheel straight, they are not skilled mechanics. Tire Warehouse charged me about the same (86.00). Went back yesterday to get refund, not happening, someone will call. No one called, I called them, spoke with Eric the manager. He apologized for the negative experience and said he would give me free alignment in future. Really never adreessed the three big issues, wheel not straight and counter dude wanted $795.00 to make wheel straight, plus the alignment was not right. If you need muffler bearings or headlight fluid I would highly recommend The Tire Scarehouse. This place has a shady past and appears as if the future will be the same. Now that I have been there and done some homework, it was a bad choice and waste of money. Research up front. May the auto repair gods heal your misbehavior.

They told me 1hr and a half for snows so I left my car to return 2hr late and the car has not been moved. A half hour later I took my keys and drove to the Firestone store in Troy to be finished in less than an hour

Trash customer service. Refused service over an hour before close because he didnt want to be home late... only asked to look at a tire. As well as extremely rude

Guys are always friendly. Super quick service and down to earth. Been coming here for years.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. And I wish I could say it only happened once but unfortunately even after brushing off the first incident and trying to give the benefit of the doubt I was treated poorly again on a separate occasion. This branch specifically will treat you like a child, talk down to you, and take advantage at any opportunity they see. Jordan, the manager is especially unpleasant. I will never use tire warehouse again and will spread the word to every person I know to not use them. Absolutely disgusted.

Purchased two tires and had them installed.. Great prices! The install was longer then expected but that was fine.. As soon as getting into my car I noticed my glove box was unlocked and I always have it locked.. So I check my trunk where all my tools are and noticed everything shoved around.. maybe the tech was looking for the lug bolt key.. All good appear to be there.. Whats not there is the $15 of rolled change I had in middle council for tolls.. think I know why the install took so long! The tech or who ever drive the car from the parking lot to the bay is a theif.. They do have good prices but dont let yourself be violated like me.. and now I have the joy of worrying if a tool is missing and I wont know about it until I go to use it.. What a joke!

I got my radiator replaced about two months ago, and it started leaking again. I took my car back, and they replaced it for free since it was still less than a year and the part was defective. They didnt even charge for labor! I was both impressed and pleased with them for not charging labor again, since its quite a task to replace a radiator on a 1999 Saab turbo.

I wient in for a flex pipe they charge my $250 call 2 other places $150. But I call them to not do it and they had already started and did not match the price they charge me $175. :-(. (I guess they seen a women coming)

In the past I took my cars to Tire Warehouse for basically everything except transmissions. Ive probably given them $15k of work over more than a decade (I used to drive really cheap domestics). Theyre an OK shop; theyre fast, they occasionally have screwed something up, but have fixed it without additional charge, and prices and quality of work were OK. They dont upsell or try to twist your arm to fix every blemish on your car, they are generally sensitive to trying to get a job done cheaply. Also, they would sometimes throw in little things for free, like if a problem was fixed without parts. However, Ive ended up taking my work elsewhere for a couple reasons. First, they mark up their parts prices too much. They put in a lot of Napa remanufactured parts and end up charging significantly more than what you can get those parts for online from Napa; and Napa is not the cheapest to begin with. Secondly, their Clifton Park store kind of screwed me over on a pre-purchase used car inspection of a car that had bad valves and no AC. They told me it was great and it would run forever. And it will, now that I had to put a new engine in it. The CP shop never returned my phone calls and the Troy shop didnt want to get involved. At the end of the day, I would say there are a lot of shops in Troy that are worse than Tire Warehouse, but there are also some that are better; ones that will charge actual prices for parts and that do better quality work, although sometimes at the expense of speed.

Though they had the best price on the tires I was looking for, I have had a poor experience with this shop altogether. I came into the shop and was told it would be about an hour. Here I sit 2 1/2 hours late for work while I continue to wait for my car to be done. They tried to scare me into buying a brake job. When I told them it would be a couple of weeks before I could do it, I was told that I didnt have a couple of weeks. Reality, my brakes are fine. I have heard them try to scare every other customer who has been done before me into doing other work as well. I will never be back, that is if I ever leave. Update: So I got out of the shop 2hr 45min later. When I went to pay, I was charged for the rear brake replacement (which I didnt get). Fortunately I caught the mistake before I had paid. If I wouldnt have been paying attention, I would have got taken on that.

I came in for snow tires and a wheel alignment a few weeks ago, but they noticed I was having some brake problems, so they recommended a brake job. I had previously noticed some brake issues, but the prior garage I had gone to couldnt verify them, so this was not a surprise when the guys here could. I ended up getting an excellent price on the repair, and my brakes feel better than they did when the car was new. Also, the rotors they use do not rust nearly as badly or as rapidly as the ones that originally came with the car. I would have preferred to not need new brakes, but their recommendation to me to get mine done was the correct one, and it has made a very big difference in how the car is performing. Thanks guys!

Only problem is prices really high

Called in earlier to ask if they do a service for RV, they sounded very promising. When i got there they looked at my RV through the window and said they dont do anything above 10000 pounds, mine was 12000+. The front desk guy was very impatient to direct me to a service station. time-wasters

Do not listen to the whiners who are giving BS negative reviews, they are irrelevant. My experience was brief, but pleasant. They were going to do a fairly major repair for half as much as everyone else was quoting me. But then they discovered something else even more major and told me that I should probably just not do it. It would be more than the value of the car. I was really bummed out about it because I love that car, so they offered me a free oil change when I get a new one, and the whole diagnosis was free. Plus they charged my battery fully also for no charge so I could get home (bad alternator).

I have never had anything other than great experiences with the Tire Warehouse. Anytime I want to have something checked out, Tire Warehouse is the only choice. Ive had everything from extensive repairs to routine oil changes. Gerald, at the front desk has always taken the time to explain what he would do, what needs to be done and what can wait. I have never felt like anyone has ever tried to sell me something that was unnecessary. I highly recommend giving them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

Came here for the first time to have my flat tire plugged from a screw in the tread. Was in & out in about 30 minutes! Will definitely be back when I need new tires!
