I have had nothing but positive experiences with Gray's garage. When I have the worst news you can get for your car they truly care and make it positive for you. They even help with warranty issues and Make the appropriate calls for you. Great family owned business. When you are broke down on side of the road 😭 great to see a friendly face come to the rescue.

This family owned and operated Garage and Hauling business is the best local service in this area! He’s updated to this beautiful garage. The inside is impressive thanks to support from the town. He’s helped me when I’ve need a tow once. He’s also helped me solved issues with other cars I owned! He is fair with his pricing and timeline of when things will get done! Gray's was very accommodating to me when I broke down nearby passing thru from out of town. They were prompt, kind, and communicative, and I cannot thank them enough for the work they did on my van, and for being so genuinely nice. Thanks again, y'all! 10/10 would recommend.

I called for the guy not to come. He came anyway and stood at the scene and harassed me the entire time continuing to mind my business and he called the cops on me. Do not suggest this service at all. He stood at the scene of the accident and talked to the local residents about drug houses locally he also questioned my ride about personal issues would not suggest he really overstepped boundaries in the midst of it all I asked him to help me pick up peices of my car since he was there the man refused and incriminated me. He was no help just a unprofessional blabber mouth!!

Steve came to our rescue yesterday and we cannot thank him enough!!! I was driving home from Boston to Ithaca with my 8 yr old daughter when the engine light in our minivan came on an hour from home. It had already been a very long weekend, we were tired, and I didn't know what to do. On a Sunday afternoon, with nothing open and nowhere to go, I thought we were stranded!! My husband got in touch with Steve and he came and found us to do an assessment, drove quite a bit out of his way to find the parts needed, and made the repair right in the parking lot of the gas station to get us on our way. Steve was a lifesaver and I cannot overstate how much we appreciate him!!! He was professional, kind, courteous, and friendly, and turned what I thought was going to be a major disaster involving tow trucks and leaving our car overnight into just a minor delay. We made it home safe and sound well before dark, in our own vehicle. Steve is the best mechanic I have ever met!! He really went above and beyond to help us. Thank you Steve!!

Came in for a simple grinding in the front end.. ended up being a wheel bearing that when taken apart crumbled.. my vehicle was unsafe and I had my kids in it.. wonderful men worked on it and made it safe again for me and my family.. always can count on Gray's!!!!

GREAT SERVICE!!! Pulled and diagnosed a bad starter at the rest stop in like 10 minutes (after arrival). Got my wife up and back on the highway, when I was several hours away and unable to help. So my wife was on her way back from a family funeral in Western New York state, driving back to New Hampshire, when she stopped at the I-88 East Bound Rest Stop between Unadilla and Sidney. When she went to start the car again, nothing. We have a 2001 Acura TL with almost 230,000 miles but it runs great (was actually a car I got from my boss as a Tow Operator myself in the San Francisco Bay area as a job "benefit"--a new oil pan and it has given many miles of faithful service--but starters do wear out...). I was unable to drive with my wife, wrapping up my last few days of the school year as a chemistry teacher, so of course I get the dreaded phone call on a Sunday evening before my last day. I ran through the few things I thought she could try, Neutral/Park safety lockout sensor switch, car security immobilizer computer key RFID tricks, locking and unlocking door with the manual key and the key fob, ensuring good battery ground etc... I called around to all the U-Haul's still open on a Sunday night at 5 pm to see if any had any car dollies or car haulers so that I could drive the 5 hours out to the Binghamton NY area and load up our Acura. Only a few were open at all on Sunday, and only a very few past 5, and NONE had any car dollies nor car trailers. Same for Northern and Western Mass. So I called her back, and we resigned ourselves to having to get a local tow to a local garage on a Sunday night, to be dropped off for it to be worked on the next day IF, they could squeeze us in (likely at premium fee's for an unscheduled rush job) to put in a new starter. We researched the local shops, the local hotels, and the local rental car shops planning for the worst. I thought it highly unlikely the tow operator would do anything besides check the battery charge, wiggle a few wires, and perhaps play with the ignition key and the transmission shifter. Well once the owner showed up he had that starter pulled out and bench checked right there at the rest stop in like 15 minutes or less. My wife is texting me what he is doing, and I'm thinking it odd he pulled it to check the resistance on it, but no he pulled it and applied voltage to check if it worked at all. 220,000 miles and 18 years, and parts wear out (and Lonnggg before that too). It was bound up a bit, he was able to get it unbound and to spin on a quick bench test. A few minutes later and he had it back in, and she cranked over fine. Granted this isn't a permanent fix, it still will get us back to home country where our local home mechanic will be able to put a good Napa replacement starter in it sometime this week in our hometown in New Hampshire. Saved us a ton of money, time and aggravation of me driving all the way out with a U-Haul car hauler to get it the 300+ miles back home. THANK YOU!!!
