Work was done fast, and he let me know along the way exactly what everything was going to cost.

Brought my car here for a fuel pump issue. Dave checked it over and found that it was an electrical issue to the fuel pump. Fixed and good. Then another part of the electricals to the fuel pump failed and he fixed that part for free. He guarantees his repairs on the parts that he fixes. Good service.

My brakes completely failed and I was able to get my car in the next day and it was repaired within 24 hours!!! The guys go over the top to satisfy the customers and I cant say enough about this wonderful garage!!!!

When calling for information/estimate, it was offered with immediate availability along with ability to repair same day as well. Even showed me the damaged parts. Offered a 10% discount over competitors written estimate. Also offered transportation during repair time. Very friendly.

Great place, excellent communication during the process. I bought my firebird here to get it ready for the dream cruise and the people are really nice and professional. I brought my car later in the day and when I rode past to pick my son up, I saw that they had already had my car on the lift. They provided a thorough assessment of what I needed and gave me options for the repair. My part took a while to come in (not their fault), but they kept me in the loop the whole time and as soon as the part arrived, it was in the car. The owner even invited me to park in his lot on Woodward for the Dream Cruise. Great people and work, I will certainly be back for business.

Within an hour of my car getting dropped off at 12pm there they had the problem diagnosed. My car was finished the next morning by 10 am. If theyre always this quick then I will definitely be back.

My car needed multiple front end parts replaced due to excessive noise. Id usually do this work myself but the struts would require expensive tools, so I called Waterford Garage. Dave made sure to get me into the shop the same day. The team evaluated my car, gave me a call back, and let me know what parts needed to be swapped and why. For the amount of work done, the price was VERY reasonable! I got my car back the next day and it drove like the day I bought it again. That was a month ago. The car still has no issues, and the parts they used on my car are QUALITY, so Im not worried about having any more front end issues for a very long time. Would recommend if youre looking for an honest mechanic at the right price.

If you are looking to change oil, rotors, brake pads please don t go to this place! Their rip you off! Went there to change rear rotors and pads they charged me $600++. When I went to RoadRunner to do exactly the same thing but this time the front break pads and rotors they only charged me $350!!! Imagine I could have those two done for the same amount that this place charged me!!! What the h!!!! God sees and God knows!

These fellas are legit. Walked in with my dads jeep, unable to do brakes because his friend brutalized the lug posts. They gave me a full diagnostic and repaired the brakes, calipers, and all in less than a day. Super fast turnaround and amicable service.

This place is it! I have had the worst luck with dealerships and shops all over the Waterford and surrounding areas until I brought my car here. They were the only mechanics to fix what 8 other shops couldn t and they could not have been more kind, timely and efficient. I recommend to anyone to give this place a try. I have a 2005 Limited Edition Monte Carlo (only 1020 built) which I trust only the techs at Waterford Garage to keep it pristine. This car does not even see snow let alone trusting someone else to work on it would be a sin.

They charged me for inspection with a piece of hand writing paper with no estimated cost. Not even printed paper !! and mentioned that he is going to applied it as a credit if I fix it, however, he lied and didnt applied it and left without fixing it. What a scam business !!

Great service over the years with very helpful staff

Shady business. Took my car there less then a year ago for a misfire in cylinder 1 when my regular shop was too busy to get me in same day. They fixed the issue for around 8 months, then it started misfiring again. Brought it back to them, this time they said it was a cracked spark plug and charged me $115 to replace it. Car started misfiring AGAIN. I called in and setup an appointment for 8am Saturday for them to look at car. I hear nothing, end up having to call them, they say they just now are getting to look at the car at 10:30am (2 1/2 hours after I dropped it off for a SCHEDULED appointment). 11:55am rolls around, still have not heard back from them, head over and call. They tell me they cant even finish diagnosing it today, they say they did a few checks one being they checked the compression, and they needed to keep my car. I demand my keys back and take it to my normal shop. My shop says the sparkplug is cracked again (which this shop would of seen if they did test the compression check they claimed...) and they replace it for $55 (half what Waterford Garage charged me after they already fixed the issue once). I asked the mechanic what causes a cracked spark plug, he told me the only way it happens is it was dropped and used anyways, or they didnt have the right tool to install it (gets installed at a weird angle I guess) and broke it on install. Either way, this garage broke my spark plug twice, charged me once for it, lied about checking compression, and I have a sneaking suspicion the plan was to keep my car for a while and try to tell me it was a major engine issue. Will never take my car to them again.

Took my van in for a brake fluid leak and they gave me a fair price and had it in and out same day. Dave was awesome and friendly and genuine and their mascot Monte was all about greeting you with a warm lick and tail wag!! I definitely recommend them for any vehicle needs you have. I needed a coolant flush and Dave was able to get me in quickly. He discovered some other issues and was very thorough in explaining was was needed and why. Travis and Dave did a great job fixing my car and when I went to pick it up they showed me the parts that were replaced and answered all my questions. Monty the yorkie is so cute and greeted me both times when I dropped off and picked up my car, he made me smile. I would recommend this garage if you need maintenance and repairs.

Went in to get my breaks changed and an oil change. Was done in a couple hours. They were super nice in person and over the phone :)!

I took my car there because I was getting 4 different error messages. Dave & Travis (?) took care of those, replaced my rear light that was busted from an accident, did an oil change, engine cleaning and a couple of other things. Very pleased with the service I received and will be taking my other cars there when I can. Communication was fine & the piece was reasonable. Doesnt hurt that Dave is a dog lover with little Monte there to greet customers.

I typically I m not one to leave a review, But the experience I have experienced at this car shop has been a complete nightmare. I was told that I could bring my 2008 Cadillac up to the shop to see what issues it had and if it needed anything fixed I was never told that I would be charged for them to look at it, The next day I got a phone call from the older man that works up there asking me if I would like the good news or the bad news first and it didn t really matter so he started off with a bad news and said I needed a couple things fixed and it would be 1500/1800 dollars then he continued to say, but the good news is I would like to take you on a date when I denied the date and told him I was married He then started talking aggressively over the phone to me and my partner saying it s We owe $250 or we cannot get the car back after previously saying he would leave the keys in the car for us to pick up And give us time to think about if We wanted to go forth with getting all The things that needed to be fixed, fixed. Considering it s during the holidays I did not assume that it needed that much work so therefore I did not want to go forth with having the car fixed during this time. I went up there to get my car. The keys were not in there, and the shop was closed so I had reached out the next day. And that s when I was told about the 250 that was never mentioned during drop off to be looked at and I explained to him that I was never Told that there would be a fee for looking at it and then he said forget it you don t owe me the 250 just come get the car, Very rude by the way and I went up there to get my car And then he demanded the 250 again it seemed very unorganized and very unprofessional, and being a woman made me very uncomfortable with the tone he had spoke to me

Dave was awesome! We are not local to the Waterford area and needed to bring our Ram Promaster City in to get our rear coil spring reattached the same day. (we needed to get back home to Lansing, after all!) All other shops wouldnt get us in, but Waterford Garage did and fixed us up within an hour!! We were greeted by an ADORABLE Yorkie named Monte, and he was such a comfort in a stressful situation. Thank you, Waterford Garage! We will always recommend you.

Dave took care of me better than any other mechanic I have been too. I needed my harmonic balancer replaced as well as my ECU Dave even tried to find ways to save me money he explained everything in detail that was wrong with my buick enclave and how it needed to be fixed he was courteous and very friendly. These guys know what they are doing very knowledgeable and aquire the best parts available. I highly recommend going to Waterford garage you wont be disappointed. Im definitely a lifetime customer from here on out. Its hard to find honest mechanics nowadays, I assure you Waterford garage is as honest as they come. If you need your car repaired take it here no matter where you are from its absolutely worth it.

Dave the owner, quoted me 2400 over the phone with tax included! My mistake for not getting a written quote! When I picked up my vehicle he charged me $2, 862.00 he got me for $400 if you do business with this establishment and with the owner Dave please get it in writing, dont let what happened to me happened to you! He also promised me a one-year warranty and now its 6 months. Either he has Alzheimers or he is a liar.

After a terrible experience elsewhere, i called and the owner said to bring my vehicle right away. The shop is clean and well organized. They absolutely went above and beyond taking care of my car. It was cost effective and wont take my vehicle anywhere else. Thank you gentlemen!

The guys at Waterford Garage got me in right away when my brake lines on my old Chevy Tahoe broke. They worked extra hours to get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner and even gave me a discount on the service. I will be taking my vehicle here from now on. Edit as of 3/26/24 - Waterford Garage is still doing exemplary work. Ive been seeing these guys for years. They are doing a fantastic job keeping my old car running smoothly. Great service. Waterford Garage exceeded my explanations with the diagnosis of a failing alternator. It was replaced and they also changed the oil, and resolved an issue with the driver seat memory. All at a reasonable cost. Ill be back for continued vehicle maintenance for my 2019 Chevy Blazer. Auto service you can trust.

The check engine light came on in my car so I went to go get it fixed. I had already scanned my engine at AutoZone so I already knew it was the Purge Valve and the 02 sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1). So I drop off my car and call back 4 hours later to see what was up. The man was rude from the start, he told me that he scanned the engine and codes P1457 and P0135 popped up and in order to figure out what they were he would have to do further investigations for an EXTRA $95. Just to find out what is wrong with the car not even to fix it. Those codes were literally just the 02 sensor and the Purge Valve which I let him know which at that point he started being extremely rude. I said you know what leave my car dont do anything to it Im coming to pick it up right now. He then goes to say FINE thatll be $95 dollars and hangs up the phone. Which is ridiculous. You mean to tell me that he tried charging me $95 to scan the engine, which is FREE to do at AutoZone. Its safe to say that I wont be coming back here again and Ill be telling people to stay clear from this scam of an establishment.

I got a tail light replaced on my bmw m6 here. They were able to get me in quick and the price is very reasonable. Communication was great and they have a ton of experience. I will be taking other cars here for any other needs and getting brakes done this week!

I received a Free Check Engine light service that they provide and were able to diagnose and tell me what was wrong with it and what they would/could do. Price was great considering the $$$$ I ve spent in the past for mechanical jobs

I highly recommend Waterford Garage! They are the straight up and down Mechanic Shop that you are looking for. From my first encounter - they radiate a fair, transparent, do good, know what they are doing approach. They are fast, reliable, honest. The quotes are broken down to the penny as to where the expense of repairs will go. How much each part will cost, how much labor will cost. It is all black and white which I really appreciate. It is hard to have to hire an expert that you have to trust - so I can highly recommend that from my experiences I would say this is one of the good ones. I brought them an older Foreign car (2001 Lexus SC430) and they did not even blink. Went the extra yards to find the parts that were needed (not easy in this market) and the communication during the whole process was better than I expected. The boss seems like he has been doing this since he was born and he has surrounded himself with very good, kind natured, honest people. 5 stars! Thanks guys! We love our car and are very happy to have found our mechanic team!

This is the second time I bring a car in for repairs and I ve had a great experience. Not only is everyone professional and knowledgeable, they are kind and respectful. I recently came in with no correct way to communicate the issues of my car, but they patiently heard me out and explained the process to check out the car. I was provided with a quote and options to fit my budget and needs. I was offered a ride home while I waited for my car, but I decided to wait here and Monte Carlo kept me company (see pic). If you want professional, cost effective, and kind, this is the place.

They took great care of me. Not just with the car and pricing, but they were incredibly kind in our time of need. As we were about to leave, we accidentally locked our keys in the car with our son inside. They came out with a kit to unlock our car for us and got us safely on our way. Cant recommend them enough.

SUPER BUMMED! Bought a 2002 Saturn L200 from them for $2500, lasted 300 miles before it died. Please fix this mistake. (After the owners response) wow. Very grateful!!! Came in a few days ago for a cv axle to be replaced. was going to do it myself but the axle nut was beyond stuck and pretty much welded to the hub. This shop managed to cut off the cv axle nut without damaging the cv axle. Then told me the cv axle is in great shape (not what another shop tried telling me) and no need to replace it. Instead a few bolts were loose in the front end which they tightened up and threw a new axle nut on there. This shop saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend !!!

Im not going back and not recommending it .

I am from out of town. Upon arrival my muffler was roaring, the vehicle was not accelerating properly, and in general it was running very poorly. I had to get it looked at as soon as possible, or I was not going to make it home safely. Dave opened his garage to me before the opening hour, and moved my repairs to the top of the priority list. Additionally, he gave me a ride to my destination so I didnt need to wait at the shop. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be fixed after he and Travis were able to check it out, and he offered me amazing prices to have my laundry list of repairs completed. He was then prompt in the completion of my repairs, then came to pick me up on the test drive. Vehicle troubles are always inconvenient and can be very unpredictable and stressful financially. Its obvious that Dave understands that and did everything he could in order for these issues to be as easy as possible on the mind and on the wallet. I really dont know what I would have done if Dave and Travis wouldnt have been so accommodating and generous. No one ever wants to experience car trouble, especially when far from home, but Im certainly grateful that I was near Waterford Garage when it happened. I am reassured that good people, and honest work still exist. Thank you!

Waterford Garage was recommended to me by a friend- and for good reason! I needed to get my car inspected before selling it, and they did a thorough job (with excellent communication/explanations for a car dummy like me). SUPERIOR customer service (made me feel like family), extremely fair pricing (inspection cost was nearly half the price of other shops in the area... plus it went towards the services recommended!!), and great work done! Saved the best part for last... The CUTEST dog welcomed me into the lobby. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I had just bought a car and its started to make a noise. I ended up doing the generic google search mechanics near me. I ended up taking my car in to get it looked at here and I had one of the best experiences in my life. Well firstly the girl at the front desk was so sweet. We chatted about our similarities in our name and it was a really wholesome exchange. They have the cutest well behaved little pupper and hes very friendly. The mechanic working on my car was able to identify the problem and the following day he fixed it and it been running like a charm since. The shop is well maintain and very clean. They price match and help find parts in your budget. All around the auto shop is great and I would recommend to anyone looking to get there car fixed for a great price and hang out with a yorkie in the process.

Awesome place to take your car too for auto repair. The whole team was very nice and welcoming. I was very grateful that I was given reasonable prices. Everywhere else wanted double the amount I was quoted. The bets part is, I had my car back the same day which is definatley convenient. I will recommend to all my friends and family.

These guys always give me & my girlfriend problems when we take our car up there , very rude & inpatient! & when my girlfriend goes by herself , they always try to make her think she doesn t know what she s talking about. I took my car there 2 weeks ago to get my EVAP System replaced , the day of taking my car from them (after the fact of it being fixed ) my car stalled in the middle of the road , something it s never done before , & now two weeks later , the same EXACT code is popping up again !! I took my truck to three different Master mechanics to find out what was wrong with the electrical they had it for a combined 6 weeks and no one can figure out the problem then I took it to Dave at Waterford garage he had it fixed the next day at a very reasonable price.

Dave seems like a good guy I took my blazer in for a wheel Bearing and he told me on the phone 100 to do it with my part he gets done and comes to me and says were at 150 I was upset but needed my truck for work so I pd it Im not sure if Ill be back or not just make sure you have the correct price before he does it thanks for helping me though

They did a great job on a brake bleed and tightening up some lines on my 2000 GMC Yukon. Unfortunately a large fuel leak appeared after they worked on the truck. Things happen on an old rusty truck when the lines are all in the same spot, but I was simply dismissed and told they don t work on fuel lines. They are not insured to do fuel line work apparently. Good luck everyone. Edit: He calls me following this review and says this is why I don t help people like you . Apologies for being on the other side of the country and in town for a few days to help my elderly parents to save some money . Get real man. Im not even complaining about the fuel line. I even asked if you could fix it and we d pay. Why r you so rude? .

The owner is very honest and transparent, and tells me absolutely everything that I need to know about my vehicle. I recently had my vehicle worked on by these guys. They quoted me a price for the job so I agreed that it was fair, so I let them proceed. Once the job was done I decided to check out their work. To my surprise they did not do what I asked and paid for. Instead they decided to do what they wanted to do without my consent! If they were honest about the fix I could of stopped them or agreed with them but they didnt. Moving forward Im not saying these guys are bad mechanics but I will say they are argumentive and misleading! Know what you are working on before visiting. If you read their responses to mine and others constructive reviews you will see the owner is childish and argumentive. To be clear with everyone that may read this review. This had nothing to do with wearing a mask. Dave get over your self. This was about a repair and that is it! There was no choices and if there was, I wouldnt chose what they did period! Once again more lies as usual. The only reason why I brought my car to Waterford Garage was a timeline to get it fixed. All other shops I tried had a longer waiting time or they had no openings. So refusal of work is a no! Dave get your story correct before responding to constructive reviews. To me a good business owner would want to know their wrongs and try to make them right. Instead of arguing with the customers. If you would spend less time arguing that you are right and everyone is wrong maybe this would be a better shop. Best of luck.

I had took my car to another place and they wanted to charge me over 1200 dollars for the work! A family member suggested Waterford Garage! And I must say they were professional, nice, examined what they did! I will be back for when my car needs other work done to it!! They were also cheaper then the first business I went to!!! Ill never take my vehicle there again. I took my car in to quiet the exhaust pipe and they welded my muffler up and said it was dragging the ground and it wasnt! Its not any quieter than before. It cost me 100.00. They wouldnt even give me a receipt!! Mike said no, he said they never give a receipt for cash jobs!!!! He said I wasnt allowed to see the underside of my car, to see what they did. Then he tried telling me that my brakes were shot when he didnt even take the tires off. I could tell because I didnt hear them using a rachet to take the tires off to check my brakesI just had my brakes done a yr ago. I never ask for them to evaluate anything but my exhaust. I wouldnt take my bicycle there. Partially my fault for trusting a fast talker who wouldnt let me get a word in edgewise!!! I think he should compensate me!!

My daughter bought a used car and we brought this car into Waterford Garage to have it inspected before we purchased. The owner went above and beyond for us by thoroughly checking the vehicle, pulled up car fax as well as the car value and helped with our title transfer. He was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place!

We were travelling to Michigan from New York when our car developed a loud knocking noise. We took the car into Waterford Garage where the team identified the problem as a broken heat shield. They made the necessary repairs quickly and efficiently enabling us to make our return trip confidently. This is a great team that provides outstanding customer service at a fair price.

They got me right in and did a great job. Ill be taking my truck back there any time it needs anything.

Do not recommend, workers are nice but manager/owner get extra defensive and aggressive if work doon is questioned multiple times or it may be the person that was questioning him on the work, not sure which but it is etherone or both. If it where possible i would say afterthe 4th experience 0 out of 10 because of manager/owner. Whent there 4 times each progressively wors than the next, and always ended up paying more that told on phone. 1st time: Went to get window fixed, they broke one of the windows bars inside the door, and had to weld it. 2nd time: took it up because car didnt want to start, had starter replacement doon, with in the week it didnt start again. 3rd time: when because it didnt. Was told that it was do to shifter and shifter cable. Ended up getting a big cap in the console for the shifter. When pointed out to manager/owner, he got angry when it was pointed out and he tried to say that that is how it was and that they did not misalign it. Would have been fine with it, if the car didnt give same broilers as when it was taken it last. Call and talk to manager/owner about shifter and the gap, he said to bring it in and they will check it and see, be it drive it with us. 4th time: went in to find out if they will fix it. When we got there I was explaining what the problem was. The owner of the car was stressing the pointed that she ether wants it fixed or to get refunded. When manager/owner came in he was already unhappy because of dealing with my call did not let him get his or someone elses food. When I was trying to explain that the gap wasnt the biggest issue at hand he stressed that I would need to leave it for them to check it, not the we can drive it with you so you can piont out the problems that are happening like on the phone. Would have been fine with that, until the owner of the car questioned him if he can get the work done right this time, or give refunded and us to take it somewhere else, or if we need to get a lawyer. As this was being said the discussion turned from unhappy to angry and aggressive, from 20 to 100, in the span of a minute or two. Manager/owner got into argument with car owners and started saying to get out. At one point he stated to get even more aggressive when asked if he was trying to kill her, and he replied with your trying to kill me. He then started saying that we need to leave before he calls the cops, however, the owner of the car didnt mind calling the cops her self do to his aggressive behavior to a customer. However when he decided to put a hand on the owner and tried to push her out because he didnt like what she was saying. Owner pulled her arm away, so he just slammed the entrance door in anger. At that point me and the car owner left, as I took that as a refusal to fix the car. Now will be getting a cort involved if not even a lawyer.

I took my 2009 sebring in for brakes and to get my electric seats fixed, I went to two other garages to get my seats fixed they told me I needed a total replacement Dave at Waterford garage fixed it he said it was only a fuse. It is hard to find an honest car mechanic these days. I will use them again

Dave and Rob are very friendly and accommodated my schedule. They ended up doing a custom tail pipe due to space limitations and took extra time to make it look very clean. Only mishap was, I had to bring the truck in twice but Dave completely covered the second round of work. Will be bringing my vehicles here in the future.

I appreciate honesty with a passion. I took my truck to get my exhaust system fixed thinking that was the problem and it wasn t. Instead of taking my money and making up a diagnosis he told me exactly what was really wrong with it free of charge. I don t like taking my truck to shops because of all the scamming that s going on but that changed when I came here. He will be my new mechanic from now on. Thank you! I highly recommend that you take your vehicle here because they really do care.

I had the worst experience with Waterford Garage. It seemed as if they took care of my car, very professional, speedy and affordable service. Tire had dry rot in-between tread, it looked nice, shiny and black but tire blew on I75. Found out from new tire place how old the tires were they had put on the car. BS.

Ive not had work done at this garage because Ive heard rumors in the neighborhood about this owners abusive nature. I checked out the reviews on this site and see how he responds to unhappy customers. Shameful.

I have been here several times now over the last few years and every time the crew working there have been very helpful. Pricing is fair and competitive and I was even given a discount on two different occasions. If you re in the area and need a professional mechanic to assess your vehicle, this is a great place to start in my opinion. Waterford Garage was suggested to me by my girlfriend when my car needed service, as a place she had been with good results. Dave (Owner/Manager) gave me a fair deal (even discounted a few things), and had my car back to me in a few hours. He was polite and told me things straight up. Its a small neighborhood garage that is BIG on customer service. I would definitely recommend Waterford Garage to anyone needing work on their vehicle.

Gave good prices and quick work BUT did some work I didnt agree to and replaced a different part than I what I was told needed to be replaced, specifically a $149.00 fuel flush and replaced an ABS sensor instead of a rear bearing. Dave said he knows I agreed to the fuel flush because he highlighted it and put asterisks next to it during our phone call. I told him during that phone call I was going to sell the car so did not want to do the maintenance stuff on it. He said I needed it because the light was on. Either way, I did not agree to it. He was so busy talking himself up that he probably didnt pay any attention to what I had to say anyway. I did agree to $977.00 worth of work for rear brake and rear axle bearing replacement and then a week later, $460.00 worth of front brake repair. My invoice showed he changed the rear ABS sensor, NOT the bearing. He said he never told me it was the bearing. I know he did because I can change out an ABS sensor on my own. I told him I cant do the bearing so go ahead and do it. I had to take it back to him a week or so later because there was a noise coming from the back. He said it was my emergency brakes. He disconnected it. He said I didnt need emergency brakes anyway. He also diagnosed a bad ABS sensor on the front. While I was on the phone with him about the front ABS sensor, I questioned getting charged for the fuel flush and the ABS sensor not a bearing being replaced the first time I took it in. I had not looked at my invoice until that day because it was the same amount that he quoted me over the phone. He got angry that I questioned him and started yelling. I finally told him it must have been a miscommunication between us to calm him down so we could finish the conversation. He said yeh, your miscommunication. He would not take any blame whatsoever. He kept going back to how dare I say he did something I didnt agree to. I asked him if he treats all of his customers like this. He said Come get your f**king car and hung up on me. I went and got my f**king car and will never go back there or recommend anyone to him. He called me the next day and left a voicemail apologizing for his behavior. He said he was tired and hurting and everyone has their own issues. Note: He usually responses very poorly to bad reviews and blames the customer. For the record I am (was) a customer and I am not a disgruntled ex employee.

I went here for my 2009 dodge charger, i had several problems including broken tie rods. They were able to tow it to their location free because i couldnt drive it. They where great at communicating any issues and had the car fix in and out in a few days. Car has been running great since. I would highly recommend Dave and Waterford Garage anytime!!

THIS IS THE CORRECT SHOP, LIAR. $400 starter put into my car whose engine seized. Then tried to tell me the best and ONLY option was to get a used engine with 100,000 miles on it put in for 5 grand with NO warranty. Ended up getting a brand new motor put in with a 5 year warranty, and 3 year warranty on the labor from Fraser Engines. The reviews saying these people are rude are accurate. Absolutely no social skills, and will repeatedly say theyre trying to do you a favor while just doing their job poorly. I recieved several phone calls guilt tripping me about the wife calling around for engines, while I was trying to figure out how to come up with 5 thousand dollars to fix my car. Would not recommend.

This guy was helping vet before me fixing up something guy couldnt afford for free. I dont think he told the guy, just did it. So far he seems like good people and an honest guy. If you want someone to just be straight about your car with you hes it.

They did a fuel injection and left my gas cap off. The first day they were able (for the most part) to work with my time restrictions, the second day they had my truck for over 4.5 hours for something that should have taken 1 hour. Their prices are pretty reasonable.

I could only imagine working/running a mechanic shop must be stressful. Having to deal with customers, like me who are hurting for money with heavy car repair bills. My Dad helped me tow my Escape to Waterford Garage and it was my first time leaving keys in a drop box overnight so it worked to leave my car there over night. The shop was VERY busy on Saturday, so it wasnt until Monday that they could even look at my car (understandable) Once they did, a long list of Needs repair came back. The owner was very willing to work with me. I decided on the repairs I didnt need/want (wanting to trade in my car for a 6 cylinder tax time) and they were able to order the parts, which they received that night. Some of his mechanic guys got started right away (even before they technically opened) at 6am to get a head start on my car. They repair the idler pulley, new belt and changed my oil (I had one quart in it...opps! Im lucky my car engine didnt blow up!!!) Anyways, they ran into another issue that I was (for the most part) aware of. I knew I didnt have A/C and that my cousin had put in a used one last summer, so granted the ac compressor seized up and the belt snapped, so we had to fix that. Again, the owner was able to get me a good deal on parts and labor to help me out because I am a single parent and could use the help! He seems to really know his stuff about cars and might even help me to find my next Escape. I need a new one for the towing capacity and he suggested that I bring any car I am interested in to his shop and he will do a free inspection of the car to make sure its not a hoopty as he called it! haha

We have had a REALLY good experience at Waterford Garage both times I have taken my wifes van there for repair. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the prices seem fair. And they are quick to get our vehicle back on the road, which is super important to us since we have 4 kids and one is special needs and NEEDS that vehicle. I highly recommend this business.

Awesome customer service. Everything was explained to us without any pressure so that we were able to make the educated decisions about what we wanted done. The prices were unbeatable, and we got a bunch of work done, yet it was still finished in one day. Wouldn t even think of taking our cars anywhere else now.

I recommend this place over any other place near and around Waterford. Not only was the service amazing, but super quick. I called the night before I had my car fixed and Dave was able to get my car in the next morning. They dont open until 8 but he let me come in and bring my car in at 7:30 and my car was completely and totally done within a couple of hours. My car would have been finished sooner, however, a lady came in very abruptly because she had a flat tire and needed to be to work by 9 a.m. and Dave stopped everything that he was doing so he could specifically help this woman get a tire on to make it to work on time. These are the types of places that are only concerned for their customers and NOT about just making a quick buck. Dave was able to explain everything that I needed to get done on my car, but he wasnt pushing me to get everything done so he could get a quick payday. He explained what needed to be done and what could wait just a little while, while we fixed the other things. Dave didnt talk to me like I was an idiot, and took the time to explain answers to all my questions as well as explained what else needed to be done and WHY. I have four small kids so Dave even offered to drive me home as well as pick me up once the car was finished. Theres also perks for repeat customers, you get a pretty big discount off of all of your services. I went back in about 5 days after my services to ask Dave a question I had about my car, and when I walked through the door I was greeted by my name as well as he asked how the car was driving and asked if everything was still working on my brakes and my rotors. Dave remember me by my name as well as what he did to my car and what my car was. This is huge considering that was my first time being there. It feels good to know that there are still companies out there that are more concerned for their customers than they are about just making money. The same job I had done for less than $700 with Dave I was quoted for over $1300 at a few of these big car dealerships. I could go on and on about the service and how great Dave and his team were and this was only my first time being there.
