They can give you a rough quote on the repair price. That is assuming you know the problem with your vehicle. They are a bit pricey too though so take the good with the bad.
I had to come in several times - because my issue was sneaky and intermittent, no fault of the shop. In the end, the problem was solved and I was so pleased with the way I was treated. Communication was top notch, service was speedy and well-explained, pricing was more than fair.

Had my Ford ranger repaired a couple of months ago and just realized I never left a review, my old mechanic retired, and I was not happy with the group that took over his garage, after going here, I am definitely going to be giving them my business the next time I need a repair.
These Guys are the real deal. Honest and not looking to get into your wallet! I had a very good educated conversation with the Owner. Brought my 2014 Chevy Silverado just to make sure everything was running properly since I just recently bought it. Everything is running great and was no charge to me. Replaced my ailing transmission with excellent results. My car shifts perfectly again. Very fast, courteous service. They were able to handle my complicated Cadillac XTS AWD V-Sport.
Wish I could give this shop 10 stars. The owner Tim is a wonderful, honest person. I sent someone there for a Transmission repair. When my friend went to pick up his truck, he paid less than he'd been quoted. He was astonished. My reply "Tim is honest and a straight shooter". I've gone there for auto repairs for 12 years Wonderful people. His son Joe is the Manager. He's great and will go out of his way to help customers. They specialize in transmission repair but can do almost anything on a car and they are expert diagnosticians that you can trust. I cannot say enough good things about this shop.

The engine on our 2015 GMC Terrain blew about six weeks ago. We already had a new engine on order, but delivery was delayed by a month. We also had all new components for the front suspension, which we requested they install at the same time as the new motor. While they had the motor out, I also requested they replace the seals on the axles and the front seal on the transmission. There were a couple of other items that also needed to be taken care of, including the remote start and ambient temperature sensor. All of the work was completed yesterday and we picked the car up yesterday afternoon. It now runs beautifully!

So joe words cannot express what a life saver you were.. in regards to my air-conditioning for my E2 50 van several places had taken a look and had extremely outrageous prices and said I m sorry ma am but this is impossible and it is nowhere to be fixed this man s honesty and professionalism and how he handled the repair of my AC unit not charging it but ordering parts and repairing it was above and beyond a five star rating I totally recommend this place thank you Joe from Certified Transmission in Waterford you guys were absolutely amazing never felt like family with a mechanic like I did with this gentleman

Excellent service Joe was amazing at helping us fix our Hummer, very upfront and honest. The best place in the world. They are super fair on prices and will explain everything they are goin to do to fix your car before they do it . The place i took my car to get fixed told me 1900 to fix it ..... Tim and his team did it for 750 so happy with there work. I will never go any where else . My whole family and friends bring there cars here now .

Had my car towed here off a recommendation from my Dad. The quickly found my problem, fixed it, and even let me bring in my own oil and filter, as well as spark plugs for them to use on the tune up. Joe was completely upfrobt with me, and made sure I knew exactly what was going on with my car, and ehat I was paying for. This place is great!
Took our Explorer here thinking it was goong to need a new transmission... Found out it was actually just severly low on tranny fluid. They could have milked us for ALOT more than $70 but they didnt, because they are good, honest people! So when I went in to pay for my truck, I asked about getting a new exhuast for my Jeep. Joe said no problem. I took my Explorer and left my Jeep. A little more than an hour later he calls with an estimate and BOOOM! Ill be able to pick it up tomorrow! Not only are they honest and friendly (which is extremely hard to find these days) but the service speedy and done right! Thanks Tim and Joe! We are life long customers!

My husbands van overheated 3 times on his way to work on Friday afternoon. When he spoke to the guy, he told him they re not open Saturday morning but he had some paperwork he d be doing so he would take a look at it. Not only did he take a look at it, he gave my husband HIS car to drive while he FIXED his van-all on his day off and the bill was incredibly reasonable! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
I was referred by a work colleague and not disappointed. The two best attributes of a mechanic in my opinion is honesty and fair prices. Joe and Tim have taken care of me for a long time now everything from trans rebuild to simple stuff. Always honest and competitive prices. Tim is the absolute best mechanic you could hope for! You cannot get a more honest mechanic while still remaining professional and fast. He has saved me hundreds of dollars over the few years Ive been going here and has done the same for many of my friends and family members. Best prices and service around by far! Everyone who works here is friendly and Tim, the owner, is awesome and always takes the time to explain everything he did (or didnt do to save me money) in a way thats easily understood and my car knowledge has even expanded thanks to him. I brought my 2008 Chrysler Sebring to Certified Transmission and they were awesome!!! I literally dropped my car off, they fixed it within a few hours! I had a problem with my transmission, it wasnt shifting properly so I searched a few places within the area. Every other place Ive called was rude and not helpful, but when I called Certified Transmission the guy on the phone was very pleasant and informative. They fixed the problem in a jiffy, and when I asked how much it would be, he said Im not going to charge you, it was just a minor problem... I am still in shock considering I thought it would at least be $800. This is how I know Certified Transmission is good honest repair shop. If I ever need car repair in the feature I am coming to this place!!!
