Needed to have the transmission removed and the torque converter replaced on our 2012 Acadia as the vehicle was surging and shuddering at certain times. They were honest and fair and timely. Very happy with the experience. It’s been a few weeks since the repair and so far everything seems buttoned back up like it should be as there is a lot of labor to remove and reinstall.
This place is very dishonest. I took my car to this place to be assessed and the cost was $119. This was not the issue that was disturbing. The issue is they had my car for 3 days and they claimed they could not find anything wrong and that if I have any issues after taking it home please bring car back. I did just that and was told I need to pay an additional $279 to have car looked at again. After that wastold I have a transmission problem and it would cost $4700 for a used transmission and $9700 for a new one. I took it to 2 other shops. One priced it at $2500 for repairs and the other $1800. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
I was very happy with the company they went above and beyond and I really believe they stop charging me for the extra stuff that I needed done. I had a poor transmission mechanic in Clarkston I'm not gonna name names but we spent more money and the transmission went bad within 4 months. We are very pleased with there work, I would definitely recommend them.
My daughter (with a new baby) had an issue with her car not going in any gear. I called and Tom and he and his staff took great care of us. He immediately had a tow truck pick up the car and within days had the issue diagnosed. Because of the age of the vehicle, I asked to be contacted on costs and he kept us well informed and stayed within budget. When the car was fixed, my daughter noticed a small issue and they immediately fixed it for free. The car has been running great. I am very satisfied and happy we were able to find a great shop with great mechanics. Tom goes above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter.
You never want to have to get transmission work done on your car but the service I received was fantastic! I was recommended to Multistate from another automotive repair shop and I’m so glad I took their advice. My car was diagnosed and fixed so fast that I was shocked that he was already done fixing my car. The price was fair and now my car is running beautifully! Can’t recommend them enough, thank you!

They did a fantastic job and a very quick amount of time even had an 8 to 12 inch snow storm while they had the car in the shop and they use those days to get the car fixed I really think these people they do a fantastic job I would trust him with anything on my Transmissions they are kind and courteous and professional- chizzy

I wouldn t even give this place a one star. This is the absolute worst Transmisson shop in Oakland County. I had a brand new Transmisson put in here to only have to go back back ELEVEN TIMES!! And on top of their poor work, they would try to find way to make money for their own faults. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your money coming to this place. Tom the owner is an absolute crook. I m sorry for this brand to allow such an individual to run a business.

Just needed some transmission fluid because my truck wasnt immediately moving when put into drive, but come to find out the last people that had worked on my truck had left a few caps loose. They were super quick with adding the new fluid and got everything back in working order with my vehicle, its been running great since. Thank you! They answered all my questions, and their prices were much lower than all the other places I called around to. Ill be back in the future for some other things I need worked on since they told me they do more than just transmissions. Also, thanks for letting my dog come in with me really quick while I signed for my vehicle back. (For all the naysayers, we walked up there to pick it up and I didnt want to leave him outside lol) Ill be back soon

Fair, affordable, honest guys who dont have a sales pitch for you to listen to. They just want your car running right. Had transmission work done on my wifes car before I discovered this shop... wish I had known about them 6 months ago before I spent my money somewhere else. These guys are old school mechanics that enjoy what they do and it shows.
Not much to be said besides this is a great shop. Had my transmission rebuilt and installed in my 2007 Impala SS and they did one heck of a job. My car runs like a new vehicle. I couldnt be any happier. I would definitely recommend people to go here. They are true professionals.

6 days for a simple fix that any other shop could have done in one
Multistage did a great job repairing my 99 Jeep Wrangler. The front differential was completely destroyed because the last person that upgraded it had no idea what they were doing. Multistate updated me during the repair process and took care of the Jeep like it was one of their own vehicles. If your dealing with something as important and expensive as a differential unit, do yourself a favor and take it to Multistate. That way you only have to do it once. Great job fellas!

I needed a new clutch in my sons car. They were more than $300.00 cheaper than any other offer that I received. They were professional and quick. The repairs were done in a little over 2 days. Would highly recommend and will go there again.

I went to them for a second opinion about my transmission. They took a thorough look and saved me about $2000. Trust worthy business that didnt take advantage of a 18 year old. 5 stars!
Called the shop on Saturday afternoon and left a voicemail. To my surprise, I received a phone call back within 10 minutes! The guy (Tom) apologized that he missed the call, and asked me to bring my vehicle in Sunday night for him to check it out first thing Monday morning (explained that he was out of town on vacation!!). I received a phone call from Tom Monday by 10:00 am, communicating the issue. VERY reasonable pricing, overall VERY pleased with his service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
