I can’t speak for everyone else. Was recommended this shop and had my van takin in to them. While they couldn’t get past the manufacturers security or some of the settings they were fair and called and told me they couldn’t get it fixed. Let me know it’d have to go to the dealership mechanics. But it didn’t cost. I hold regard for a shop who gives me an honest report quickly to allow me to get my vehicle in to be fixed right. I will def keep them in mind if a need comes up that I know they can look at for me.
Push your car away.. THEY BROKE EVERYTHING… I had them rebuild my transmission and in the process they broke multiple sensors and I couldn’t figure out what they did I took the car there 3 times of witch they had it for days on end.. each time I got it back there was somthing broken… they claimed the codes where old but yet I took it to a different transmission shop and they instantly found what they did I have before and after pictures of everything they broke each time I got the car back.. I was building a case to take these guys to court with undeniable evidence of there mistakes and neglect DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE… they do not care
This shop is honest and charges fair prices. Came in for a transmission fluid change and had an excellent experience. I know others that have come in for transmission work that they were happy with as well. Was referred by Six Lakes Auto.
I had my transmission replaced for 3000 brought it back in after having 3000 miles on it told me it was fine 15,000 miles later transit was totally destroyed but not help out and will not do any repairs Wanted another 3800 for another transmission I won’t let them work on my Tonka truck
Very honest men I like dealing with these guys they communicate great. And said there was a couple day wait and I said I was totally cool with it since I know they stand behind there work and I'd don't mind waiting
The guys here are great! I had issues with my transmission and someone recommended that I have it towed here. I thought I would need a new transmission. Turns out it was an easy fix and they had it back to me quickly! They didn't try to make up stuff wrong with it, and they easily could have as I'm the typical female that knows very little about this kind of thing. It was a great experience and I will be recommending them to others in the future.
My Trans went out without warning. I'm a contractor who only has 1 truck with allot going on. These people are great. When you think of reasons to give a rating. They are 5 stars across the board. I live close so they dropped me back home. It was a thrusday when I dropped of my truck. They told me I'll get it back wendsday. To my surprise early Monday morning they were calling with a finished product. Yes my truck runs awesome Thank you so much guy. Plus the price is very reasonable. They told me a number. When I got there it coast me less
Wayne's put a rebuilt transmission in my sons F150 back in March. About 2 weeks ago, the transmission went out. We called Wayne's, dropped it off on a Friday, and picked it up the following Wednesday. They said the torque converter went out, and since it was still under warranty, they replaced the transmission. These guys do good work for a fair price, and more importantly, they stand behind their word. If you're looking for a fair, knowledgeable, and honest place to have transmission work done, you can take your vehicle here and have confidence that it will be handled right.

Work took a month. replaced clutch failed in 6 months transmission failed in 2 years. Poor products, poor work, terrible customer service. Never took time to write a review but highly recommend finding a different shop.
Honest, knowledgeable, quick, and polite. While they were unable to help me, they were able to point me in the right direction to get my car fixed. Will definitely use them again.

They do good work for a decent price and they dont take long to do it. I dropped my truck off on a tuesday night after work for a transmission. They called be before i was done working wensday saying it was ready to go.

These guys are so awesome Ive taken them a car that didnt work right they took it for a test drive and it was fixed. I have worked with Wayne for over 30 years on different vehicles never had a bad experience I had a transmission go bad after it was worked on and they replaced it no questions asked.

Great guys didnt charge me anything because nothing was wrong. Almost never find honest vehicle repair shops but thats exactly what you get.
Only stopped by to set up future work and after explaining my issue, gave advice, and didnt try to make me feel like they just wanted to make money. Very highly recommended by many people i know and much less expensive than the other transmission shops in area

Straight-forward experience. Professional, honest and quick. Was recommended to me by my regular service shop that doesnt service transmissions.
They are rude and didnt fix my transmission correctly I had it there 3 times on my way home from work myfront wheel axles fell off had it towed there and they told me not to do 80 miles an hour down dirt roads. I dont drive 80 miles an hour down dirt roads. Its still not right I will never go here again and would never recommend this place to nobody. 2600 hundred dollars for nothing.
I took my Jeep to Waynes because it was having serious shifting issues in the trans. Wayne told me that he, and another mechanic took it for a ride. He then stated that This is not something I want to get involved with right now. I asked him if he could tell me what the issue was, and he just said We couldnt find anything I have no problem taking my vehicle somewhere else Wayne.. I just thought that maybe you could give me some Input. I do not recommend this place because the guys there are very unhappy, and non communicative.. unless they want your business. It was like talking to the grinch about Christmas. Maybe he is just not a Jeep guy.
They put in a new transmission that could not hold rpms while cruising. They told me your transmission is supposed to keep jumping rpms when cruising at lower speeds. Negative

If you want an honest, fair and reasonably priced transmission shop, you wont do better than Waynes Transmission in Waterford, Michigan on Elizabeth Lake Rd. near M-59. I took my vehicle in there thinking I needed some transmission work and they checked it out and let me know my transmission was fine. They were kind enough to let me know what they thought the actual problem was. This was my 2nd time there and they were just as good to me this time as they were in the past. Just didnt think to leave a review after my first visit and this time I made sure to look them up on google reviews and give them the kudos they deserve.

My car just stopped at a stop light and would not move forward. I had the car towed to Waynes and started looking for a rental. In about 2 hours they called to say it was done. A much simpler and less expensive repair then I was expecting. They know transmissions! Could have tried to sell me a rebuild but theyre honest and fixed it without taking advantage of the situation. Highly recommended!

After going there to get 4x4 disconnected because of shotty work for a different garage in waterford, they completed what was needed quickly.
Wayne s transmission was highly recommended by AC tire in Waterford. Now I know why. A couple of small items popped up after their work. Nothing major. Found a small trans leak and took care of it fairly easily. A month after the job, had a metal rattle while driving. Thought it might have something to do with the work. After a test drive and putting the truck up on the hoist, found a heat plate (no relation to the work), which seemed to vibrate a little. Another test drive and noise is gone. No charge for for any follow up work. They just want to make sure that everything is right. Thanks guys. Will always be a customer and won t hesitate to recommend your work. Eric Cloude

AC Tire sent me there for a issue theydont deal with-I would give them 6 stars if I could. They found the problem with a diagnostic which was free and told me nothing wrong with the trans-was a sensor instead

Dishonest & lazy sinkhole of a shop. I drive a 2007 truck & was experiencing some issues. I took it here & one if the owners test drove it & opened up the hood for ten seconds. He said I needed a new transmission for $1900 & it would take two days. First of all, theres no such thing as a new transmission for a vehicle that old. If you did find one it would cost over six grand. Secondly, jumping to the conclusion that you need a new trans after such a lazy & unprofessional examination is pathetic & dishonest. I took my truck to a different shop & all it needed was $350 in electrical fixes & the truck is running fine now. Avoid this dump at all costs. They WILL lie to you just to squeeze as much profit as they possibly can.
Great Honest Transmission Shop! Took vehicle to Suburban Ford about 4pm on Friday, but by Tuesday afternoon they hadnt touched it but was able (not sure how) to estimate $4000 to overhaul the transmission. Took it to Waynes and 25 hours later they fixed the left front axle and had me back on the road for $412. Wont ever go anywhere but Waynes for transmission work.

These guys are awesome. Had my vehicle at the dealership and they couldnt diagnose the problem They suspected it was the transmission. Took it to Waynes, and after a simple test drive they solved the problem. Guess what, it wasnt a transmission problem. Charged me a nominal fee, which was way less than it should have been. Truly old school shop with honest guys. Made my day.
These are some truly good guys doing good work. Thats hard to find. I trust them and they really are here to help.
