Went there to just get a NY inspection. They are telling me I need to do at least $1500 in repairs be for it will pass inspection. They told me I was leaking power steering fluid. How is that when the reservoir is always full and the pump doesnt even work. They were correct, ball joints. Other than that, I think that they thought I didnt know anything. I dont know everything, but I know enough not to get taken advantage of.

They always get me in when I need a repair done. I have my car back quickly and everything is done in a timely manner.

These frauds tried to tell me I needed to replace distorted brake rotors on a car with 16.7k miles (never been in an accident, only driven in 2 NY winters). I brought it to another shop with more integrity for a second opinion, and they confirmed the story was bogus. The rotors had some rust, but were not distorted. Stay away from these scammers.

Friendly services and mechanics where amazing with the work!

My wife went there for a NYS inspection. Told her she needed an alignment and they also got her for a cabin air filter and a rear window wiper. She didn t need an alignment and the vehicle should have passed inspection without it. I m assuming they figured they could get her to agree to the work which she did even though it wasn t necessary. Total ripoff stay away.

This is the best automotive repair shop around. They squeezed me in on a time crunch and repaired my vehicle very efficiently. They offer a variety of services for anything automotive related and you can enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with them while they work on your vehicle. They even notified me that they do photo inspections for insurance companies. I will make this place a regular stop for all my automotive needs.

We take our vehicles to Gwizz auto for all our service needs. We have been going there for years now and this is the only place I trust. The people at this shop are kind and always make sure you are 100% satisfied with their service. We had an issue where after changing our tires the vehicle was pulling hard to the right. They brought it right back in at our connivence and adjusted the tires until it was to our satisfaction at no additional cost to us. If you are considering taking your vehicle here, do it. You will not be disappointed. Shawn and his team are fantastic.

Just a bunch of scam artists, they try and sell you things you don t need at an insane mark up, they will have a list a mile long of everything wrong with your car and you can bring it to a real mechanic and it will pass inspection, don t go here :)

I went in for insurance pictures and was surprised. My brother had went in two days earlier with my other vehicle and he said they were great with him also. The service was fast and courteous, unlike other places who like to put nonpaying customers to the side. The inside was clean and I couldnt believe all the services that were available there. They have a nice selection of tires and other accessories for your vehicle.

We have been stationed at Fort Drum twice now and have used and trusted G Wizz since 2016. They have great customer service, they work around your schedule, and they help take great care of your vehicle. Weve had oil services, tires, inspections, repairs... and its always top notch. We tried other auto shops before finding G Wizz and they always seemed to recommend unnecessary services or diagnose issues that didnt exist. G Wizz isnt like that; Sean and crew are honest and trustworthy. I recommend them to everyone regarding any vehicle services because they really do it all.

I came in for a state inspection (last day of month, so very helpful for a last minute appointment). I m a lifelong mechanic and capable inspector, and maintenance test pilot of aircraft, do my own work and am highly familiar with my car and it s maintenance. Place charged $2.59 for fluids, seals, sprays without explanation. They told me my wiper blades were cut upon inspection (I had been running them in torrential rain the day before so it s not like I would not have noticed if they were in bad shape). I can t prove they ripped them intentionally, but since they got you over a barrel at 20 bucks a blade, I acquiesced. Got pitched a transmission flush appropriate for my mileage, despite there being no way for them to determine the conditions of that fluid. It s new BTW. Of course, if my transmission fluid was even a factor for any state inspection I would have entertained the idea but this is yet another attempt to get more cash. Told my alignment was off. Incredible seeing how it wasn t even on a lift or measured. After bringing my concerns to the guy behind the counter, he assumed that I was implying his guy cut my wipers. I asked about what the fluid charges were for and the reply was that just pops up . Then he asked me to leave and never to return. This is a shop full of shady thieves. State weights and measures and DMV will be called to investigate. Stay away from this place. Scam city

I had work done from them on 2/25/2019 I had a lift, New rims and tires installed and some extra work also, The service was fast and done correctly, Amanda was very helpful and responsive, If you have an issue or concern they will help you and definitely make it right.

I was new to the area and chose G Wizz to help with insurance pictures and a damaged tire. I visited them 3 times in a few weeks and they treated me like a regular. With each visit, they got me in right away and kept the wait to a minimum. Amanda was the service agent I dealt with the most and she was very friendly and professional. I recommend these folks!

The women at the fest very nice but the product receive was not the great 4 break pads plus 4 break rotors are as noisy as the old break set I had previously on my car if it s snowing and cold or humid or hot still make noise I left it at that when try contacting finance to pay off early balance no response at all

FIND ANOTHER SHOP.. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Came in last week and needed a vehicle inspection and decided to get an oil change. After about 20 minutes or so, Amanda comes over and tells me that I need my brakes changed as well as some piece at the bottom of my car changed in order to pass inspection. That totaled to over $3000, and they still didn t change my oil rather they let it run out; not to mention I already paid. Came back the next day and she gave me this excuse of the oil filter they put on was defaulted. They deliberately altered the tires of my car to make it drive funny so that I could pay to have done what they wanted but I did not. Took my car to get inspected in Buffalo, NY and none of what they said was true. And I passed inspection because my vehicle was in perfect condition, there was a recommendation to change my brakes but they guy said they were fine. Long story short, this place is a rip off. I saved over $3000 getting another opinion. They see you in uniform and automatically think fool, we can get money out of them , but I happen to be one of the smarter soldiers considering that I have my degree in Finance. Though I don t know much about vehicles, I know a ton about scams and the do s and dont s of rip offs.

Place is just great. Customer service is awesome and everything. Appt today for 1100 got there at 1045 truck went right in for alignment and balance wheels I was out by 1200. Fast and great work. Everything I needed done is done and fixed correctly. Thank you for always doing great work!

Brought my car there for an inspection and they added 30 extra dollars for one wiper blade and license plate bulb. Never go here so a $21 inspection ended up being $65! What a rip off

Honest, friendly, accomodating, professionals. I had a 10 year old truck in for nys inspection. They listed the tired parts of the truck as tired but not failing. I had a license plate light out due to a bad socket and a Dr. Appointment. They got the part while I went to the Dr. I got back 10 minutes before they close, they got it in and out in 20 minutes. Stayed a little late for me. Great service! Thank you!

They helped me get my carco inspection done when Widrick auto sales complained it was sprinkling outside, and they didn t try to tell me my truck needed work when it didn t which some shops are notorious for. Staff is awesome very friendly will definitely go back for regular maintenance as needed and probably get the under coating done on my truck they offer.

Place truly is a joke, they will literally fail you for anything and I mean literally. Ive never had such an issue with getting an inspection done especially on two newer type vehicles. I failed for having a score mark from a clip. The second car, the windshield wiper blade squeegee was pulling slightly off of the rode, you had to pull on it to even notice which I dont even think was messed up to begin with. Just trying to make money off of people since they cant make money on inspections. Ps. Brought the rotor that I took off to another place just to ask for another opinion, they laughed and said they must have been in a ball busting mood today and that it shouldnt have been failed since the brakes worked fine and it wasnt scratching anymore.

We took our car here this morning to get an inspection and they tried to tell us that it would need $1100 worth of work to pass inspection. Luckily, my husband is a mechanic and knew they were lying so, we took it to another inspection place who said there is nothing wrong with this car and they were trying to rip you off. He gave us an inspection sticker and we were on our way. The people at this place should be ashamed of themselves because some people would have believed them and paid that money!! In response to the owner. We took your report with us to the place that issued our inspection sticker and they inspected the same parts of the vehicle and still said there was no reason not to issue a sticker. Our sons safety is OUR #1 priority and I can promise yours is money!!

This place was amazing. They were so fast and easy going. The lady at the front fest helping me with my car inspection even gave me a lot of information for the winter. She made me feel welcome and said if I had any other questions even if it s not auto related that I could stop by and they d be happy to help. Wow, such amazing people.

The team was very fast at working on my car repairs. It was a pricy bill, but I m still glad they took care of my needs and kept great communication with me very well, even when I was out of town!

Went in for an inspection, and they spent 40 minutes trying to do an inspection, told me it was gonna be $50 to change a light bulb that took my husband less than 2 minutes to change right hand to god! Said i had a horrible oil leak that i or my husband never noticed but when we got home all of the sudden drive way full or oil. They said for the light that s costs $2 that it would be $50 in labor, with two front breaks and to de-grease ( not even fix!!!) for all three things would cost me $600 absolutely ridiculous!!

What a great place. My truck was in trouble, bad seal on the pumpkin had been leaking grease on my brakes for years. No other shop told me that I needed to fix it they just kept fixing my brakes 3 times in one year. Finally the team at Gwizz fixed my brakes and told me the problem. I know feel safe in my truck. And my wallet feels safer too. Thanks Guys!

DO NOT go here for service ! They are over priced and do not have professional workers. I took my car here for a detail (salt removal) $140 down the drain. Once I paid they told me they couldn t get the salt out and refused to give me a refund ! Worst experience ever !

Scheduled a one day rental a month in advance. Got there and they knew exactly what we were there for and proceeded to let us know they didnt have anymore cars. Then we were told they tried to contact us multiple times, which no phone calls were recieved. I actually received a rental confirmation the day before we got there. So basically they knew they were in the wrong then tried to blame us for their poor planning and management of rental vehicles. Very unprofessional buisness.

Gwizz......Customer recommendation: Rent somewhere else. Poor value and they seem to be a Local only rental which was not communicated properly. Person who identified himself as owner proved to be rude and was overly defensive when this miscommunication was brought to his attention. They wasted my time for a horrible value proposition, were overpriced and their terms were not industry standard(they did not want me driving out of state for some reason). I went to Hertz and got the same price for unlimited miles, and had a seamless transaction without the poor attitude demonstrated at Gwizz. Gwizz should be your last choice, if at all.

DO NOT GO HERE! They scam people out of money! They claim there is stuff wrong with your car that is not! Go to a dealership, do the work yourself, or go anywhere else but here.

Last week I took my car to get its NYC inspection and they told me I had multiple leaks the lady that works at the desk told me it would be $1,000 to fix I told her I didn t have the money she tried to tell me to ask to borrow it from somebody else s but what I didn t tell them was I was a mechanic and I took it to Billrapp in Syracuse and it passed the next day and they said it didn t have a single leak . This place will rip you off and make you waste your money.

0 Stars Got a reservation made for a rental. When I get there the place is closed on Sundays. Something they should have mentioned since I already knew it was closed on Sundays but thought they had some type of arrangements for their customers. I was wrong so wrong. They were nice and friendly while they took pictures for my new insurance, and happily advised me I was overdue for an inspection and they could do it for me, which is fine. They then tried to convince me a feature of my car was not up to code and would need to be fixed. A feature that is in my user manual and consists of my parking lights flashing. You know. So you can see Im parked in evening or morning time. Also told me I had more issues with my car than I really did.

Gwizz Auto has and is by far the best mechanic shop I have ever visited. Everyone from the manager, to the wonderful ladies at the desk, even the new guy is cool. They have guided me through a maze of vehicle repair. They have worked on everything of mine from a 96 saturn coupe to a 2014 subaru outback. Not only do they tell you what needs to be replaced, they inform you of what may be an issue down the road. I trust them not only with my vehicle, I trust them with my wifes car as well. They are the most honest and loyal mechanic shop I have ever been to. I even stop by just for a cup of coffee and say hi even when I dont need work done. Try them once and I know youll be back.
